open starter response for @mightiboy ( Izuku & Shoto )
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shoto dealt with the news calmly. Having left Midoriya on read with no intention to bother him ever again, and after an hour of reasonable thinking, he visited Aizawa's office, asking to transfer schools and for his hero license to be revoked. Aizawa-Sensei hadn't absurdly accepted, believing this to be another prank. Having failed as both a hero and a friend, Shoto was left with no choice, but to pack his belongings and leave, for a foreign land, where nobody would remember him. Where Midoriya wouldn't have to think of him ever again.

withsorrowandregret asked ( once upon a time ago ):
[  ill  ] Izuku for Shoto
Tumblr media

[  ill  ]  sender  takes  care  of  receiver  when  they  are  unwell
“ I needed to move around a little, ” he explained, when asked why he hadn’t stayed in his room. Only wearing a t-shirt and shorts, Shoto had wandered around the dorms. The kitchen was his stop, taking a seat when seeing Midoriya was there. “ It’s not that serious, ” he mumbled, before starting to cough once more. He must be looking miserable, with his hair messed up, the dark circles underneath his eyes, and pale color. Shoto hated being sick, even though this would make it the first time he’d spend his time resting.
Midoriya was worrying for what was a minor cold. Or the flu. He couldn’t really tell them apart, and he didn’t think there was a point to it. He could have continued training and classes like he always did whenever he wasn’t feeling his normal self. Shoto was trained after all to function even under these circumstances. He didn’t think his father was wrong on that part. It didn’t make sense, for a hero to stand back because of an illness. Villains wouldn’t wait for his fever to ease down.
Tumblr media
“ I hate this, ” he grumbled. The last few days had drained him, not only physically but psychologically too. He had run out of patience. Waking up every few hours, having nightmares, feeling weak even to leave his futon. His body switching from hot to cold every few minutes. His body failing him for the first time in a long time, with Shoto not understanding the reason. Recovery Girl had advised him not to try and regulate his temperature, for his body to fight this naturally, and now he’d find himself once again trembling when a minute ago he had been feeling hot, and couldn’t do anything about it.

— midoriya izuku | what's a soulmate? well a soulmate is like a best friend but more. it's someone who you carry with you forever
— izuku & shoto | it's the person who knew you and accepted you and believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would
What's a soul mate?
Dawson : It's uh... Well, it's like a best friend, but more. It's the one person in the world that knows you better than anyone else. It's someone who makes you a better person. Actually, they don't make you a better person, you do that yourself because they inspire you. A soul mate is someone who you carry with you forever. It's the one person who knew you and accepted you and believed in you before anyone else did or when no one else would. And no matter what happens, you'll always love her. Nothing can ever change that. Make sense?

can u pls do 1 with mha men whos like in denial of ur death. like uh they keep constantly making 2nd meals thinking ure still alive, and their classmates confronting them that we’re gone. after war 1-A maybeee?
↳ a.n ; hallo! It’s been awhile guys! and I apologize for that. 😞 it’s been a pretty rough start to the summer, I lost motivation to write completely but since i’m slowly coming back I got a bunch of ideas! also I’ll like to also apologize for the late request and how sloppy it is but i’ll go back and edited it more but I still hope you like it!.
katsuki-
denial can do a lot to a person. could affect them in a bad way, unhealthy way..even delusion. since your death he’s been in denial ever since, thought it was some kind of sick joke you were playing to get back at him but as the months went by he gotten worse. would constantly bring more snacks to his room, a habit he developed whenever you hung out with him to bother him or watch movies, would yell your name or even call one of the girls your name but when he realized it’s not you he would simply scoff walking off to go somewhere else. most likely your grave site. would talk to you, tell you about what he did or even how much of an idiot you are..he kept this a secret to himself because he didn’t want everyone else to worry about his business. would constantly bring you your favorite flower, placing it right on your grave as he sat there in plain silence staring at the stone. “y/n l/n. 0/00/0000-5/24/2095.” he didn’t want to accept that his best friend was gone, he didn’t want to even have that thought in his head. but when kirishima and denki confronted him…he had to accept that you were gone. you weren’t coming back.
Izuku-
4 months have passed and he wasn’t doing the best. he had a very rough time accepting the fact his childhood best friend had left him. even when he saw you lifeless on the ground as he tried to get to you, he didn’t want to accept you were gone. would constantly dream about you, call out to you or even accidentally call uaraka your name imagining it was your face instead of hers. but when he came to reality hearing her voice, “I’m not y/n deku..” he felt defeated. he didn’t want to accept your death, everyone knew that byl the way he was blaming himself, overworking himself, unconsciously and consciously calling out your name worried them. would go to your grave site, talk about what he did that day and how much he wish this wasn’t true..would spend majority of his free time at your grave site just sulking. when all might took notice of students telling him about his behavior he had to be the one to confront him. he didn’t want to believe what all might said to him but…in reality he had to. you were gone.
shoto-
he had a very hard time accepting your death, seeing you laying in your casket lifeless put a shock through his whole body. from someone who had so much passion, so much to live for was gone. he didn't want to believe it, he refused to believe it, and everyone could tell he didn't want to accept by his behavior. he constantly kept your necklace on him, and always kept it close, he would still write you letters putting it on your grave site, buying you you're favorite food and flowers, eating your guys favorite meal as he silently talked to you as if you’re still here. some days Izuku or even bakugo would catch him by your grave by himself with food next to him, or just see him sit there in silence staring at your grave stone. It was unhealthy by the many sleepless nights he had gotten because you're constantly on his mind, he swore he could still feel your presence laying with him everynight but you psychically not being there makes his heart sink even more, seeing how shoto still denies your death even after 4 months worried them. being closer with shoto, sero had to tell him the honest truth. you were gone. and you weren’t coming back.

Would you want to write a Shoto imagine where he and his crush’s work study team up so she and him (or just one of them) gets hit by a confession quirk by a villain who teases them for their feelings (cause it’s dead obvious to everyone but them) and they have to come to terms with it all once the villain is apprehended? You can decide if Endeavor knows also about their feelings or is oblivious like his son. Thank you so much and I look forward it since all your other writing is stellar!!
I may have gotten a bit lost again, but it was a pleasure to work on that I couldn’t help myself. This boy is too pure for the world ^^
!TW: Blood, minor injuries,
Words: 5407
“We will move in five minutes. Make sure to hold your positions and stick to the plan.” Gang Orca’s command was followed by the dutiful agreement of his sidekicks and your much quieter voice between the eccentric group. The unity and trust you felt in the current Nr.12 heroes agency was the main reason you decided to do your hero work-studies under Gang Orcas care and till now you were more than happy with this decision.
The hero had spotted you at the sports festival and was impressed by your ability to handle your quirk in a variety of ways, so he too was more than okay when you asked if he would take you in. Soon you had learned that under his somewhat scary appearance was a heart of gold. The care he had shown in handling hurt people and children in need was adorable and his advice had helped you develop new perspectives on the hero work. You admired him and his determination and gained his trust with how easily you adapted to the fieldwork, that he had offered you to join this more complicated mission.
Complicated enough that he teamed up with another high-class hero like Endeavor.
On one hand, you were excited to work with heroes of their caliber but on the other hand, the flame hero scared you more than anything else. Of course, you made sure to keep up a professional attitude but as you arrived at the meeting point one single but important detail you had forgotten was now facing you in the form of your handsome classmate tagging along with his father.
Your heart fluttered as Shoto entered the scene, the deep blue color nicely accentuated his dual-colored hair and the observing glint in his heterochromatic eyes, the short sleeve exposing his muscled forearms. What would you give to have them wrapped around you. Would he be warm? Or cold? Or both? You accepted a long time ago that you had a massive crush on your classmate, but who could blame you? It should be illegal to be this handsome.
Before you could start drooling the tremor of Endeavor’s voice woke you harshly from your daydreaming. “I guess you already explained the plan?” His voice was like thunder, shaking the ground and everyone surrounding him by the sheer force that radiated from him. You couldn’t believe how even a single villain could dare to stand against him.
But as much as that spoke for his hero qualities his personality was as equally shitty. He was demanding and rude and you wondered why Shoto was willing to stick with him, given the boy’s annoyed look at his father.
Shoto felt obviously queasy in Endeavor’s presence but was willing to live with the circumstances if it would help him improve the usage of his flames. You knew because he told you the other day in the common room of your dorm. Since he opened up after the sports festival you had found yourself chatting with him more and more. You felt comfortable in his calm presence and he too seemed to value your company, seeking it whenever he wasn’t occupied with Izuku or Tenya. It would have been even nicer if the growing feelings for him weren’t making you uneasy in certain situations like when he accidentally brushed your arm when he walks through the dorms or he leaned in closer to you while expecting your notes when you did your homework together.
Yes, you had come to the terms with your feelings for him but that didn’t mean you could just ignore his gaze or his sweet scent. When exactly had he stopped next to you?
“Are you alright? You are burning.” Shoto stated and put his hand on your forehead, the cool sensation of his right sending a shiver down your spine. Hastily you stepped back and waved him off. “I’m fine. Probably just a bit nervous.” You replied and rubbed your cheeks with your hands, hiding the blush spreading across them.
Shoto’s eyes narrowed slightly but you were glad he wasn’t able to press the matter when Endeavor’s pounding steps directed your attention to him. The man was staring at you with those piercing turquoise eyes taking in your appearance. Despite your slight fear of the man you straightened your posture, not willing to show any weakness in front of the top hero at which his eyes seemed to stare even harsher.
“I guess your Shoto’s classmate?” He asked and you blinked in confusion. You hadn’t expected his voice to be this… soft? The gears in your head started to turn faster trying to cope with this sudden impression. But before you were able to answer him a bright set of shoulders appeared in your vision shielding you from the piercing stare of the flame hero.
“She is,” Shoto stated with a tint of anger in his voice, and you shot him another confused gaze as he wouldn’t let you move from behind him, keeping you from any conversation with Endeavor. The said person seemed not in the mood to argue with his son and retreated into a corner where his sidekick Burnin was waiting.
This whole little exchange unnerved you. Shoto had never acted like this before and you were curious to know what drove him to such a reaction, but sadly that talk had to wait as the alarm reminded you that your joined mission would start now.
Up until now, everything went as smoothly as could have. With the help of the top hero and his flaming sidekickers, the villains awaiting in the building were nearly helpless. You felt the rising and falling of the heat from Endeavor and Shoto using their quirks as you made your way downstairs, following Gang Orcas’ command to check for any remaining enemies.
So far nothing seemed off and the few villains you encountered weren’t a match for you. You felt proud to see your progress in action and soon cleared one of the lower basement levels by yourself. That was until you reached a door, hidden in the farthest corner of the hallway. The only indication that there was a door was the tiny ray of light that was visible under the door.
You considered calling for back up but given the little to non-existent resistance you faced on your way down there you felt confident enough to proceed with your task on your own. Carefully you crept closer to the door keeping the noises you made to a bare minimum. When you reached the dark wooden portal, you leaned closer, your ear pointed to catch on any sounds made in the room behind it.
“Shit, shit, SHIT. The boss said the heroes wouldn’t find us. Shit! Hurry, I need to hurry!”
You heard the clinking of metal and paper sounds as the person inside the room seemed to panicky pack as much as he could while cursing himself for believing the words of his so-called leader. You continued to listen but since no other voice or sound was revealing the presence of another person you made yourself ready to move.
Footsteps hastily tapping to the door informed you that the villain was about to flee and when the wood finally opened the man stared at you with bloodshot eyes. Panic struck his face and he stumbled backward leaving you the perfect opportunity to pounce on him. In mere seconds you had him pinned to the ground, his kicking and screaming doing nothing to help him as you leaned over him.
“Leave me the fuck alone!” He cursed and you rolled your eyes. “I will when the police have taken you in.” You answered with a smug smile on your face, draining the color from the villain’s face. He stared up at you with wide-blown eyes, his breath staggered frantically. Then he bit his lip harshly and a little droplet of blood protruded from the wound a menacing grin spreading on his distorted face. “I’m not done for.” The words sounded like a threat as you noticed a new smell filling your nose, dazzling and sickly sweet.
Alarmed you jumped back as black dots danced in your view, your head spinning after inhaling the weird scent. “What the…?” You mumbled and blinked, fighting the overwhelming sensation flowing through your body.
In your peripheral vision, you saw the villain sitting up, wiping the blood from his lip with his thumb. “Feeling unwell, hero?” He snarled at you, and you tried to fight the foggy feeling clouding your judgment as you prepared an answer. “Feeling like I might pass out.”
What?
Your eyes widened and you clasped your hands over your mouth, embarrassment flooded your insides. Why did you say that?!
The villain smirked satisfied. “Good to hear. Anybody else I need to consider?” He asked and you felt your mouth moving on its own. “The others wait upstairs. The nearest one is probably Shoto.” You explained and squeaked. Your mouth was ignoring your commands, working on its own as the man pressed further.
“Shoto? Who is he?” When your mouth opened you stuffed your fist inside, biting down harshly to prevent yourself from speaking but the fogginess made your resistance weaker and weaker, the villain’s grin growing as he watched you struggle. You couldn’t give Shoto away, you didn’t want to. You needed to protect him from whatever was happening to you.
You bit down harder, tasting the blood from the pricks your teeth tore in your skin. Don’t! You forced yourself, but the fog in your mind thickened and weakened your resentment. You felt a cold tear slip from your eye as you desperately stopped yourself from giving in.
“Aw, such a cute reaction. I guess he is important to you? Your love perhaps?” Your breath hitched and the villain laughed, pushing up and casually walking closer to you. You needed to move but at the same time, you were occupied with fighting whatever was happening to you. The situation seemed to dire more as the man was now towering over you, grabbing your chin with his fingers and forcing you to look at him.
“The sickness will stop when you answer honestly. So, why not tell me about Shoto? He seems important to you. Should I catch him and see if he shares your feelings?” At his indication, you ripped the fist from your mouth pushing him as hard as you could while your mouth started moving again. “Don’t you dare touch him!” You barked and blocked his path your breath heavy and burning in your lungs.
The man seemed surprised but caught himself a second after, his laughing echoing sick in your ears. “You’re adorable! Does he know his worth to you?” Warmth filled your cheeks as you gave him a deathly glare. Sadly he was right as soon as you had spoken the words the fogginess in your mind had cleared a bit. But the worst thing was his teasing which was affecting you more than you could help. “No.” You simply stated. Fortunately, it was enough the lift the fog more, but his disgusting expression was unnerving you equally.
He seemed way more confident than a few minutes ago and it scared you. “No? You should tell him or you might regret it someday. Today”, he threatened, and you felt the blood rushing through your veins as you imagined Shoto getting hurt. The villain used the opportunity to draw a knife from his waist and plunged it into your thigh, a piercing pain spreading from the wound. But your mind was set on Shoto and his wellbeing, you wouldn’t let anything happen to him. Fuck your feelings if it meant keeping him safe.
“I won’t allow you to lay even a single finger on him.” You growled and the sickness lifted enough to let you move, tackling the villain to the ground as you had before. His expression told you how surprised he was at your attack, but you couldn’t care less. “How…?” He stammered but you shushed him harshly, not willing to put up with this encounter any longer.
He returned to his fighting and meanwhile flooded you with questions or suggestions which you now answered without holding back. You were gladly accepting the embarrassment if it meant keeping him under control.
Luckily you hadn’t had to wait much longer as you heard the stomping that indicated Endeavor approaching. Soon he stood in the doorway and looked dumbfounded as you kept the villain pinned down. After a few seconds of staring you snapped at him. “Mind helping me old man?!”
Your breath hitched again, and your cheeks burned even harder than before. Talking to Endeavor like that was one thing that made embarrassment grow more, but even worse were the heterochromatic eyes staring at you in disbelief.
The villain followed your line of sight and laughed madly as he watched Shoto rushing over to your side, freezing the ground and pulling you in his arms at the same time. The beating of your heart increased as you felt his arms close around you, pressing your smaller form into his toned body to secure you from any possible harm. He was so warm.
You looked shyly up to him, watching how his gaze scanned over you. “Are you okay?” He asked and the soft tone of his voice made your knees weaken. Shoto guided you gently to the ground, narrowing his eyes as he lifted your fringe with one hand, checking for any head injuries that might have caused your weakness, when he spotted the knife still sticking in your flesh he stared deadly at the villain.
The blood seeping from the wound was clouding your mind too, as your heart danced so wildly in your chest that you were afraid he might hear it. You felt like passing out again and unfortunately, your mouth was again faster than your mind. “No. The wound stings like hell and having you close makes my heart feel like it’s bursting.”
You couldn’t describe the look he gave you. His eyes widened and you felt his body stiffen, the hand still lingering on your forehead as your face burned up. Wasn’t a simple no enough?!
The both of you stood still unsure of how to continue with your sudden confession that loaded the atmosphere. Shoto simply watched you as you were watching him. The longer you stared the more details you noticed on his face, but the most intriguing thing was the soft pink adorning his cheeks and the tip of his nose. Cute, you thought when an annoyed groan interrupted your observations. “Could you please kiss already?! I’m getting sick from watching you, lovesick dorks.”
His statement made you flinch, and you hastily wiggled out of Shoto’s embrace, bringing some space between you two. Taking some deep breaths to calm your pounding heart you shot the villain an angry look. “Stop talking already. Your getting on my nerves.” And for once you were okay with the sassy tinge of your voice. You felt three pairs of eyes on you and tried your best to keep you from making another snarky comment, the words bubbled like soda in your mind and the fogginess returned.
The silence ended ultimately when Endeavor cleared his throat, turning from watching you and his son to the villain still resting on the ground. “We still have business. Shoto, bring her upstairs. He stated and faced the villain who let himself be escorted by the flame hero without resistance. When he crossed you, the red-haired man gave you a conflicted look and advised you to seek a medic once you left the facility, then he left, the only ones remaining were you and Shoto.
“Can you walk?” His calm voice sends a pleasant shiver down your spine, your attention now fully back on him. Feeling the urge to talk again you swallowed the words forming in your mind and took his extended hand. With ease, he had pulled you to your feet, but when you tried to take a step your leg gave in, making you stumble over. You feared the impact but to your surprise, the boy to your side had already expected this outcome and caught you in his arms, before you could meet with the hard ground. “I guess not.” He mumbled and swooped you up, carrying you bridal style without waiting for your consent.
You squeaked and buried your burning face in your hand, desperately hiding your angry red blush from your classmate who stopped after a few steps. Puzzled you peeked up at him from between your fingers only to find him looking at you with a curious gaze. “Please hold tight.”
Your heart skipped a bit and the words in your mind toppled over, begging to be released. Careful not to let even a single one slip, you had already said enough for one day, you hesitantly snaked your arms around his neck, tugging yourself deeper into his chest. Certain when all of this was over you would never be able to speak or look him into the eyes ever again you hid your face in the fabric of his costume.
Shoto didn’t comment on your reaction as he adjusted you in his hold, careful not to tug at the knife on your thigh. If he wasn’t afraid to accidentally do more damage, he would have pulled it out already, but imagining your pain crunched face he rather left the treatment to the professionals.
He looked down at you in his hold and how you clung to him. He felt a pleasant warmth flooding his veins as your breath tickled his neck and lucky for him, the way you were hiding from his sight you weren’t able to see his face, a small smile and soft pink adorning his features.
You found yourself sitting in the back of an ambulance, one of the medics was treating your wound and the fresh air of the evening helped you to calm your racing thoughts. Good for you the wound wasn’t that bad and was treated and dressed without any complications, but you were advised to have Recovery Girl check it when you returned to school, given her quirk would be the best way to prevent any secondary damage.
You let your eyes wander over the scene. The police had already taken the villains under their custody and were preparing to leave, as were the members of the two agencies. A few meters away from you, you saw Gang Orca talking to Endeavor and Shoto who had returned to his father’s side after he dropped you off with the medic. At first, the gentlemen he was, he wanted to stay until he made sure you were okay, but the medic had spotted your pale face and insisted the boy should give you some breathing space.
With a frown on his face, he had left your side, visibly unhappy but he understood your situation or at least the portion he was able to grasp.
The medic, on the other hand, had noticed your weird behavior immediately and after Shoto had brought a safe distance between you and him the man had turned to you with a questioning face. “What’s wrong? Something that happened down there?”
You considered telling him of your little fight with the villain but ultimately gave in, seeing his commanding glance. It was his profession to know when someone felt unwell, and since you still felt this sickly feeling whenever you suppressed the urge to speak you might as well tell him. “I think that guy did something to me. My mouth wouldn’t shut up about anything and whenever I tried to keep it shut by force my head would fog and start spinning.” And you continued to recall every little thing from the confrontation, how you made your way downstairs and fought the villain, how the dizziness started and your mouth worked on your own, and to your distress how you nearly confessed in the most inappropriate situation possible.
As you finished your bubbling the medic started laughing and you couldn’t help but stare. “Rude. You think that’s funny?” You snarled and twitched on the spot. How you hated these sassy comments you couldn’t restrain. The man tried his best to stop his amusement, wiping a tear from his eye as he spotted you pouting and staring into nothing with a flush on your cheeks. “I’m sorry, but it’s not often we cross someone hit by a confession quirk.”
You facepalmed. Of course, it was a stupid quirk, how weren’t you thinking about that?
“Oh great. And how long do you think until it wears off?” You ask and rubbed your forehead. The medic thought for a moment. “Quirks like that normally last a maximum of 24 hours. But I suggest not taking another mission, given the headache you get while containing your rambling.”
You nodded and leaned against the door of the ambulance the nice cool sensation helped you to calm your thoughts. At least you know how long you needed to watch your mouth. You could do that, your shift at Gang Orcas agency was nearing its end for the day and after that, you could flee into your given room, sleeping and forgetting about everything today. You could do that for sure.
The medic sat down next to you and gave you a reassuring smile as leaned slightly closer, making sure nobody but you would hear his next statement. “In all honesty. I know it’s not my business, but the villain was right with one point: The looks you and the boy give each other are quite obvious. Maybe you should consider telling him.” Your head snapped in a direction away from him and you crossed your arms as another laugh escaped the medics’ throat. “Just a tip from an old man but, you both should clear the air between you. Makes a lot of things easier and in my opinion, you would make a cute couple.”
He grinned at you and as you turned to lecture him about people’s privacy he was already retreating behind the ambulance, leaving you to the sight of Gang Orca walking closer to you. “Your alright, kid?” He asked and you felt his eyes lingering on the dressed wound on your thigh. As he opened his mouth to apologize for letting you get hurt you shook your head and gave him a gentle smile. “It hurts a bit, but I guess I’ll be fine.”
The hero nodded and gestured for you to follow him. “That’s good to hear. But I hope you don’t mind delaying our return to the agency. There are a few things I need to talk to with Endeavor and he invited our team over.” What he didn’t say aloud was that he didn’t have the heart to leave the number one hero hanging and that’s why he agreed to accompany him for the evening. So, with no real counter, you sighed and stood up, walking back to the flame hero and your classmate at his side.
You smiled at Shoto’s concerned gaze and hoped he wouldn’t ask you anything. Knowing what the confession quirk was is good, but didn’t solve the problems tagging along with it.
Gladly things weren’t going too bad. You spend an unexpected but nice dinner with the teams of both agencies, trying to join the conversation only when directly addressed. The casual atmosphere helped you adapt easier to answer as honestly but short as possible and you managed to not drop another embarrassing comment for the whole evening.
The only thing that was bothering you was a pair of grey and turquoise eyes, watching your every movement from across the table as you listened to Burnin who shared a few stories from her beginning at the Endeavor agency.
You tried your best pretending to not notice him, but the only thing you got from that was him walking over to you and asking you to join him for a moment. A hopeful glance in Gang Orcas’ direction was crushed instantly as he allowed you to leave with the boy since he still had some business to discuss with Endeavor. Speaking of which, the flame hero stared at both of you and the way Shoto’s hand laid on your shoulder, waiting for you to get up and follow him.
Contemplating to stay and be stared at for the rest of the evening or leave with Shoto you decided on the latter, preparing for the struggle to not let anything slip past your lips again.
So now Shoto walked you through the agency building and long hallways until you stepped into the privacy of his room that was given to him during his internship. It wasn’t new for you to be alone with him, but the usual comfort was overshadowed by the situation from a few hours ago, making your hands all sweaty.
Shoto sat down on the bed and patted the spot next to him, waiting for you to accompany him. His gaze was curious as he noticed how you wouldn’t move, instead, you crossed your arms and leaned against the doorframe, a droplet of sweat glistening on your temple. The blood rushing in your ears made it hard to notice when he finally opened his mouth. “What is wrong? You have been acting weird since I have found you in the basement with the villain.”
His voice had not a single small tinge of anger within it, but still, you flinched and pressed your lips shut, feeling the fog clouding thicker in your head. The dizziness growing made you see black spots and you shook your head as you glided down the door, resting your forehead on your knees and snaking your arms around them. You knew he wasn’t pressing you on purpose, but the confession quirk made it so incredibly hard for you to be in his presence. His whole being seemed to drown you in warmth and comfort, but right now it was suffocating you in the worst ways.
“Hey Y/N, please talk to me. Please, let me help you.” The desperation in his voice made you tear up and you clawed your nails into your arms, your inner fight nearly tearing you apart. Of course, he meant no harm, but the feeling of his fingers as he forced your hands from hurting yourself more burned and you felt yourself sobbing. “Why won’t you look at me? Did I do something to upset you?”
“NO!” You blurted and shot forward, grabbing his hands in between yours. “It’s me. It’s my fault. You did nothing wrong, Shoto. It’s…It’s just…” You stopped your bubbling and looked at your hands clasping his. You couldn’t say it and so the fog thickened, making you feel sick and your restraint weaker.
“What is it? I promise I won’t judge.” You didn’t doubt that, he was way too caring to drop someone he considered a friend, but that was the whole problem. He was your friend, you were friends. Oh, how you wished to be so much more for him.
You shook your head again and returned to your spot, leaning your head on the door, silently staring up at the ceiling.
Does he know his worth to you?
The villain’s words echo in your mind. Of course, he didn’t know. How could you tell him when he was just learning what feelings and relationships were? Shoto only discovered the connections he could make with people and you wouldn’t dare to take this chance from him, restraining his freedom by binding him to you.
The looks you and the boy give each other are quite obvious.
You considered the medic’s words. Maybe if what he said was true and Shoto reciprocated your feelings it wasn’t that bad to confess. You valued your friendship. You valued his strength, his intelligence, his kindness, and this soft smile he only gave when he was comfortable with someone. But you would have noticed if he felt something more for you, wouldn’t you?
You gulped heavily and closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. Your insides were screaming, your head felt so heavy while your heart nearly fluttered in your chest. Everything was so overwhelming and suffocating and you wanted nothing more than for it to be over.
You sighed and opened your eyes to find grey and turquoise filling your vision, different emotions were swirling behind them. Worry, curiosity, and something you hoped was affection, invisible to most people but you saw it because he let you see it.
“I like you. A lot. And I can’t hide it anymore.” You watched how his eyes widened and his hands in yours, especially his left, turned warmer. “You make me feel dizzy and strong at the same time and I was hoping you felt the same warmth you make me feel.”
The sickness started to fade and you let the confession sink in. Your heart was pounding much harder, but the overwhelming sensations that hurt your head disappeared with each passing second. Meanwhile, Shoto just stared at you, not moving in the slightest bit as he flickered between yours, trying to decipher what you just told him.
You waited for him to react, feeling that you had said enough for one day, and just sat there and watched as he shifted. He blinked a few times and let his eyes roam over your face, taking in the soft glint in your eyes, the pink adorning your round cheeks and your lips which seemed to draw him in more than usual. Unconsciously he slipped his hands from yours and for a moment you felt sad only for it to dissipate when they found your waist and lower back, pulling you into him.
Suddenly you found yourself in his embrace, gentle and cozy as you returned the gesture with hesitation, one hand splayed on his back and the other on the nape of his neck, feeling the silky strands of red and white between your fingers. This was what you had dreamed of, you felt so safe, so happy that you buried your nose in the space between his shoulder and neck, inhaling his sweet scent. How could you have resisted this for so long?
You felt his breath fanning on your hair and the shapes his fingers drew on your waist and back. His voice was no more than a whisper as he pressed you further into him. “I like you too. I have for a long time.”
Your heart skipped a beat and you laughed at that, remembering how many people had told you that but you weren’t willing to accept the thought. To hear it now, to hear these words you had longed for from Shoto… You could burst with happiness.
Carefully you pulled back a bit to cup his face in your cheeks, locking his gaze with yours. A weight seemed to have fallen from his shoulders too, his smile so insanely gentle that your pulse nearly went into overdrive. To top all of this new sensation he leaned in and hesitated a moment before giving you a chaste kiss on the corner of your mouth, lingering a bit longer than necessary.
It wasn’t really what you had expected from the first kiss you received, but it was so much sweeter than a real one. For you, it told how desperate he was to feel you but still respected your comfort enough to not dive in fully without your permission.
From between his hair, you saw the tips of his ears burning red and his shy gaze made you nearly melt on the spot. “I’m sorry if that was too forward.” He mumbled and tried to hide his expression by leaning his forehead on your shoulder. You couldn’t help but laugh at his cute behavior and leaned into his hair, your fingers slightly messaging his neck as you whispered. “Don’t be, I enjoyed it.”
The way you pecked his head made him look up and you saw the cogwheels turning in his mind. “If so, do you mind if I kiss you again?” He asked with a husky voice, already leaning closer to you which made your smile shine even brighter. “Please do.” You answered and met him halfway, feeling his soft lips grazing over your own.

Queen's Rule
Part I
Tumblr media
Pairing: soft!yandere!mha boys x reader (Bakugo, Izuku, Kirishima, Shoto, Dabi & Shigaraki)
Warnings: soft!yandere, otome, suggestive themes, personal insecurities, fluff for now, may get darker as the story progresses.
Words: 2.3k
Summary: It made sense why every girl wanted to be the Queen - you couldn't even imagine what ego boost they were getting with guys having duels to win them over, especially since the Queen was also treated better by the teachers and student council. You heard Mina saying the Queen was nearly untouchable.
P.S. Yes, I read too much shoujo manga, I know.
___________
"I can't believe she gave this to us willingly," you whispered, staring wide-eyed at the magnificent vintage porcelain service that was gifted to the college by Countess Uwabami last week. "I mean, it's probably the most beautiful set I've ever seen in my life."
"No kidding," Mina agreed, walking around the table where the service was placed. "I think if anyone breaks a cup, the Principal's gonna behead them."
Sighing, you hid your hands in the pockets of your skirt. It only meant the service would stand somewhere behind the glass, away from prying eyes of college students.
Ochako's happy voice cut through the silence, "Nope! The Countess' only condition was the set should be constantly in use. If she wanted it to just stand somewhere, she'd given it to some museum, she said."
"Wow, she's something."
"But what will we use it for?" You wondered, following Mina as you, too, started circling the table, watching how the gold-painted parts of porcelain cups reflected sunlight. "If we allow everyone to just come and take it when needed, we're going to lose it by the end of the week."
Chuckling, Mina suddenly stopped, making you almost bump into her.
"We'll use it for special occasions!" She exclaimed, excited. "Like, some fancy tea party!"
"Oh, we could ask Aoyama to bring us that tea he has been talking about for the past two weeks!"
"And I'll bake something nice!" Dancing with girls around the table like some preschoolers, you kept laughing, dreaming of the tea parties you were going to have in the Room of the Queen.
You had no doubts the Principal was going to accept your proposal - in the end, he cared deeply for old traditions that were slowly disappearing with every year, and tea parties would certainly warm him heart. The man was terribly old-fashioned.
It was probably the reason he still kept this Rule of The Queen thing, a tradition established in times when the old Queen built the college to help educating young men and women. In her honour, every three years students chose one girl to represent their own queen, a young lady who would then be involved in all those ceremonies, meeting a Board of Trustees and other important visitors, helping to prepare charity ball, and other super important things. It sounded pretty boring, but every girl wanted to be the Queen, regardless of the list of responsibilities attached to the title, because the Queen was recognized as the most beautiful girl in college, and she had the right to have her suitors fight for her.
Of course, it sounded kinda insane - maybe back in the 50s guys were really fighting for a girl they liked, but in modern era it was... weird. That's what you thought before Ochako proudly presented you photos of previous queen's suitors fighting for her attention: they played chess, basketball, football, or whatever sports to prove who was the strongest. Why the hell they did it, you asked, surprised. Of course, the previous Queen was really pretty, but going so far to win her over seemed very medieval to you.
"First, it's a tradition," the girl explained to you. "Second, you know boys. It's just one more way for them to prove they're better than anyone else, even if they aren't in love with the Queen. Look at Bakugo! I bet he'd be duelling anyone just so that the whole school knew he's the only champion."
Well, yeah, it made sense. It also made sense why every girl wanted to be the Queen - you couldn't even imagine what ego boost they were getting with guys having duels to win them over, especially since the Queen was also treated better by the teachers and student council. You heard Mina saying the Queen was nearly untouchable.
But now you also understood why so many girls were going against this tradition, claiming the elections were rigged and that the rules were unfair. Why only first-year students could be the candidates? With so much pressure coming from the students, the Principal agreed to change the rules, and that's how the elections turned into a random selection.
That's also how you became the Queen for the next three years.
Sadly, with a girl chosen not by the majority of students, your role quickly became more of Principal's assistant rather than the Queen in traditional sense. Guys weren't fighting for you, and you weren't called the most beautiful girl either.
Well, maybe it was for the best. Other Queens used to get lots of hate from other girls, including ripped clothes, drugged tea, and other pretty nasty stuff. With you acting like an assistant to the school management, even the older students didn't mind the new Queen being chosen among freshmen again. The Board of Trustees called it the beginning of a new era: finally, a woman could be taken seriously without a queue of suitors. They welcomed the changes - the school needed some fresh air, they said, and they hoped you were going to change lota of things for the better.
Nevertheless, regardless of their words, you still felt a little sad.
"Woah, Aoyama gave us some very nice herbal tea, what do you think we should do for dessert?" Mina wondered as you two stared at a colorful package smelling like summer flowers.
"Brownies will be nice, I think," you took a step back to grab an old notebook from your table. "I have my grandmother's recipe, and she's the queen of baking, I'm telling you. If I don't mix anything up, it should be alright."
Your friend bursted out laughing, "You? Mixing anything up? Todoroki is less of a control freak than you are."
"Hey! I still do mistakes sometimes!"
"Yeah, and every time you're having an emotional breakdown afterwards."
_________________
It was Friday when the first tea party was held: since nobody was allowed outside of college until Saturday morning, there wasn't much to do while everyone still wanted to have some fun after studying the whole week. Tea party sounded like a great option to spend time together while enjoying something sweet and fresh - it wasn't too hard to organize it, but it allowed girls to dress up and have some nice tea paired with delicious chocolate brownies you prepared. You were very proud of yourself, seeing others eating food you cooked. All the girls were complimenting you on the choice of a dessert and your baking skills.
Aoyama who was invited too - it was partly thanks to him the party was organized - mentioned he'd be happy to bring some other kinds of tea if you agreed to have more tea parties. In the end, why not? Everyone enjoyed just sitting together in the Room of the Queen for an hour and chatting, drinking tea from fantastically beautiful vintage cups and sharing brownies. It was as if there were a certain atmosphere, something that made you all feel like you were aristocrats or royals, and all of you agreed you'd love attending tea parties like this one.
So, it was decided. You were organizing tea parties on Fridays. Next week Ayoama brought you a wonderful green tea, and, figuring out no one has any special allergies, you were going to bake delicate sugar cookies - you found an old "Tea and Dessert Pairings" book dating 1952 with recommendations and recipes in the library, so now it all depended entirely on your cooking skills.
"Hey, I've heard you girls are having a tea party with cakes this Friday?" You turned your head only to see Kirishima with a smile a mile wide. "Can we join you?"
You knew well he had a sweet tooth, but it was a big surprise to see Bakugo standing behind him impatiently.
"Oh, o-of course, you're free to join us. I will need a list of those who will be coming and their food allergies, please," you felt your cheeks heating up when you realized you finally did something others got interested in.
"No problem!"
"And don't forget to wear some decent clothes," Momo who was reading beside you snorted. "We don't allow anyone wearing sports uniform."
Bakugo was definitely going to bark something about her behaving like a snob, but his friend immediately dragged him away, happy they were allowed to come. Watching him whispering something to Katsuki, you rubbed your forehead, both excited and a little nervous other people were joining your little event. Before it was just you and your friends, mind Aoyama who had the ability to be everywhere at once. Was everything gonna be alright?
"Don't worry, it's just gonna be two or three more people," patting you on the shoulder, Momo assured you. "We'll be just fine."
Actually, it's five more people - you're looking at the list with wide eyes, seeing Iida's, Todoroki's, and Midoriya's names written on paper, too. Oh dear, you didn't expect to see Shoto among people joining you. President of the student council coming to some silly tea party? Damn, you needed to work hard on those cookies of yours. What if he didn't like it, and then everybody would know you're not good at baking at all? Shoto definitely had very high standards.
Mixing the flower with eggs in the largest bowl you found in the kitchen, Mina grinned at you, "Don't sweat it, girl. I bet he's coming just because the Principal asked him to. You know, the Queen hosting her own tea parties, and the president doesn't even show up there. Nezu would go mad!"
Ah yes, they're calling it Queen's tea party now, every time making you both proud and ashamed. In the end, it was Mina who offered it, right? But it's you who's cooking, placing the service on the table, cleaning it afterwards, watching so that everyone enjoyed their time... It's fair to call it your tea party, Mina says. In fact, you're doing so many things all by yourself other girls come to your help, preparing the room and the service while you're baking in the kitchen with Mina.
It has to be perfect, you repeated in your mind as you were choosing a dress for the evening in a rush - you'd take something casual if you were to meet up with your girls only, but the presence of so many boys was making worried. What if they wouldn't like your cookies? You weren't popular from the start, regardless of your catchy title, so if they collectively decided you couldn't even bake, you thought you were going to transfer somewhere else. You definitely wouldn’t bear the humiliation.
"Woah, everything looks so fancy!"
It was the first thing Kirishima said, staring at the big table of dark wood and pretty chairs with light blue satin upholstery - all this was pulled out from somewhere by the Principal's order who loved the tea party thing the second he heard about it. You were even encouraged to put a patterned tablecloth that was also donated by some noblewoman, so Momo had personally instructed everyone not to spill anything on it - the head of a disciplinary committee, she could make even someone like Bakugo behave properly.
"It tastes... heavenly," Iida muttered, taking another cookie. "And this tea is certainly something too."
"That's because our Aoyama supplies us with the best tea from his parents' store," Mina chimmed in, and the boy on the other side of the table started positively glowing - everybody knew Ayoama was a sucker for praise.
"Cookies taste very nice," someone's voice said shyly, and you saw Izuku blushing furiously.
What, he liked them, too?
You felt like you were going to explode from happiness, your face so hot you thought you'd burn your hand if you touched it. Everybody seemed to enjoy the evening as they drank tea, talked, laughed and ate your cookies till nothing was left - nothing at all despite you baking four trays of them. It took you more than two hours to do them, but now you knew it was worth it. Damn, everyone loved what you did!
It was probably the happiest day of your life until Kirishima and Bakugo started arguing about what you should bake next.
"I'm telling you, there's nothing better than a strawberry shortcake!" The red-haired one was yelling at the top of his voice, struggling to be louder than Katsuki.
His friend who probably never agreed to anyone in his entire life was screaming in return, "Are you joking?! Who the Hell cares about some shortcake when we could eat Delicious Death!"
While Shoto looked at Ochako sitting next to him questioningly, she whispered to him it was a special kind of chocolate cake, the one that was very hard to cook, but its taste was rumoured to be exquisite.
"Maybe you could do two for the next week?" Someone asked you, but before you had a chance to reply, Momo rose from the table with a fearsome expression on her face.
"Are you joking? Does any of you have an idea how much time and efforts cooking for so many people take? She will only make one dessert, and that's final."
Well, actually, you were grateful to her. You'd have to spend the whole night cooking to give the both of them what they wanted. It was too much even for you, honestly.
The guys didn't look too happy, but then Kirishima exclaimed, "Hey, I know what to do!"
"I'm not eating your stupid strawberry shortcake!"
"Then we're gonna have a duel! Beat me, and you'll have your chocolate death or whatever this thing is called next week!"

First Date

Tumblr media
Date with Todoroki and Midoriya is, to put it mildly - chaos. Where do I start?
First we have Todoroki. Very handsome young man with two-tone hair and eyes. We all know that Shoto is not familiar with many things, his childhood was not very colorful and rosy, not at all.
He has not seen his parents take care of each other or behave like a couple, so he is not very familiar with how to treat a person he likes.
He didn’t even realize he liked Midoriya when he was still a student at U.A. It was good that there were his sister to explain to him what those feelings were.
We have already seen that he takes things seriously and does not understand jokes or metaphors, so it takes time to work with him.
Certainly his relationship with Izuku helped him a lot. He showed him what love, care and empathy are, but for him things are complicated again. He and Izuku will date a woman, a woman they have been in love with since their school years in the U.A. Shoto doesn’t know how to treat a woman and what they would like.
We also have the next one, namely Midoriya. Our broccoli boy has remained the same shy young man, despite his fame as the new No.1 hero, this part of him has not changed.
He would certainly do better than Todoroki, but his still shy nature worries him that he won’t be able to talk to you.
They are both worried about your reaction to everything. They have never heard that you like someone, nor have there been rumors that you are with someone, they didn’t even know if you like boys !? Nevertheless, you accepted their invitation to a date, at least they managed to make it clear that they were inviting you to a date, a DATE, and you were fine with that.
Now was the date where they would know if they had a chance with you, and here they were, sitting at the reserved table, waiting for you to come.
21:27p.m
Deku kept a close eye on his watch, looking at every minute. They had arrived about ten minutes ago and were sitting nervously at the table, well, Izuku was moving nervously, and Shoto was sitting meekly, staring at one dot, trying to keep his mind tidy and clear.
-“She will come, Midoriya, our dateis at 9:30p.m.” Todoroki exclaimed, grabbing his boyfriend’s hand under the table to reassure him.
-“Ah, I know, Shoto-san, but that doesn’t make me any less nervous.” the green-haired man replied, smiling at his partner. -“We have been waiting for a long time for the chance to invite her and the fact that she agreed and now we will have a date makes me feel surreal. It’s as if I’ve finally reached a goal that I thought was impossible. It’s very strange that happens, I still consider it unrealistic.”
The two-colored man looked at him with surprised heterochromic eyes. Despite their years together, the things they went through could not be compared to that. And the fact that Deku feels that way surprises him. He is also surprised that he was able to describe how he felt too.
It felt like he was 17 again in his 2nd year at U.A. When he shared his feelings to Midoriya. Confused, scared, excited. He never believed that he would fall in love or be able to be a partner, the love of someone else.
A small smile crept across his face. Todoroki leaned over to his partner, leaning his head on his shoulder. Their physique has changed and evolved over the years. Already in his mid-twenties, Deku had grown much taller than his school years. He was now towering over Shoto.
Midoriya smiled, leaning against Shoto, planting a kiss on his white and red hair.  The two parted, looking up at a door that could be heard opening and closing. 20:30, you arrived just in time.
You looked around the restaurant in confusion, looking for your table. Midoriya instinctively raised his hand, waving at you and shouting. -“(Y/n)-chan!” you looked up at them, a wide smile appeared on your face, bringing butterflies into the stomachs of both heroes.
-“Hey, Deku, Sho!” you replied, going to them.
Midoriya wanted to make a good impression by taking your jacket and pulling your chair backward to sit, but you came like a whirlwind, sitting hastily in the seat in front of them. Obviously there will be no good first impression.
-“Oh, I was in such a hurry so as not to be late.” you started, removing your jacket, leaving it on the back of the chair. - “I was nervous not to be late because there was a traffic jam on the road. After I managed to park it took me time to find the restaurant and…”
Deku waved his arms in front of him, trying to reassure you that you weren’t late, sharing his own worries about not being late. So you two became a muttering mess, and Todoroki rested his chin on his hand, happily watching the scene in front of him. Cute.
-“You are not late, you have nothing to worry about.” the two-colored man called out of nowhere, stopping you and Izuku.
-“It’s good to know.” you said calmly, leaving your hands on the table. -“Long time no see.”
-“Since our graduation in the U.A.” added the green-haired man, rubbing the back of his head.
-“What’s happen with you? I last heard you joined Selkie’s agency.” you nodded in agreement to Shoto.
-“Yes, my quirk would be very welcome in sea battles.”
-“Are you adapting fast?” Deku asked cheerfully.
-“Yes, the hero Manual is there too. We have some pretty similar quirks, so he was so kind to help me adapt.” you replied, controlling the water in your glass with your quirk, making it take the shape of a snake and move along the walls of your glass in a circle.
-“This is very good.” exclaimed the hero, tying his hands on the table.
They both felt a little awkward, not knowing how to continue the conversation, fortunately the waitress saved them by giving them the menus. You opened the menu of hard leather covers, looking at the variety of foods.
-“Oh, hey, Sho, they have a cold soba.” you said excitedly, showing him the menu on the first page.
-“So I’ll order a cold soba.” the two-colored man replied before receiving muttering from Midoriya.
-“But, Sho, we have a whole pot full of soba!” you laughed at their interaction, attracting their attention.
-“What?” they both asked at the same time.
-“Nothing, you just haven’t changed since we graduated from the U.A.” you said with a laugh. Deku giggled too, smiling at you.
-“What do you mean? We look the same way we did 7 years ago?” Todoroki asked confusedly, looking at himself and his boyfriend and again to himself. You and Izuku looked at each other and almost fell from your seats with your boisterous laughter. -“Ah?”
-“O-oh…. Sho!” tears formed in the corners of your eyes, wiping them with your hand. -“You’re still funny!”
-“Funny?”
-“Yes.” the green-haired man replied, leaning his head on his partner’s shoulder.
The three of you ordered a teishoku, receiving it in about 30 minutes. Everyone enjoy their food before Todoroki calls.
-“(Y/n), do you see our old class?” you swallowed your food before answering.
-“Yes, even with some very often.” you said, playing with your chopsticks, twisting them between your fingers and doing tricks with them. -“Most often I go out with Kaminari, by some chance it turned out that we work in the same agency.”
-“Kaminari-san?” Deku exclaimed, looking at you in astonishment. You nodded, uttering a little “Uhm.”
-“All right, that’s nice! We haven’t heard from Denki.”
-“Are you close to each other?” Shoto asked, taking another bite of his meal.
-“I’d say yes. We go out often, we message to each other, he’s very cute. He’s also grown a lot from UA, he’s become more responsible and he controls his quirk much better. We have a lot of fun together. We have dinners for us, in which we are on the couch at my or his home and eating popcorn while watching scary movies. "you said with a smile on your face.
-"Oh, I understand…” Todoroki replied, bowing his head over his food, hiding his face through his hair, which he had left to grow for reaching a length where he could tie it in a bun.
Izuku reached under the table, gripping his boyfriend’s thigh, rubbing it lightly to offer support. He knew his boyfriend’s lack of confidence in relationships. He has always worried about whether he is doing well as a partner and doing everything right.
Talking about a boy (and you’re not the person who talks a lot or often about people, especially boys), who is the opposite of his personality and sees that you’re really having fun with him, feels like someone hit him with wet rag across the face.
-“And you guys…” you called, bringing them both back to reality. -“How are you? The press is very interested in your relationship.” you smiled slyly.
-“So… After we graduated from UA, Shoto and I went to Endeavor’s agency, as his partners in catching villains. That was until we turned 22, All Might offered to take his agency… And I took it.” he replied, scratching the back of his head where his undercut was. -“The press found out about my relationship with Todoroki when I took the agency and there were hundreds of news stories that said, ‘Hero No.1 is in a relationship with Endeavor’s son’.”
-”O!?”
-“Yes, and still receives dozens of emails a day, invitations for interviews about our relationship.”
-“It’s too much for you. The press hasn’t learned for so many years that the heroes have a private life that they usually keep to themselves and don’t want to make it public. The personal space of the heroes must be respected.” you said and turned to Todoroki. -“And for so many years as a pro-hero, people have kept leading you the 'son of Endeavor,’ and that’s all you’re known for.”
-“It’s annoying.” Todoroki replied, making you and Deku giggle a little.
-“Well, those are just words from older people in Japan.” the green-haired man exclaimed, rubbing his boyfriend’s thigh. -“I am sure that the young generation will remember you with your name and your deeds.”
-“You’re right.” said his partner.
-“Ah, (Y/n)-san, do you happen to be in a relationship or dating someone?” Midoriya asked you. Shoto immediately ran one hand under the table, squeezing his thigh - too early, Midoriya.
-“O!?” you opened your eyes wide to them from the sudden question. -“No, I’m not in a relationship, I’m not dating anyone. Why do you ask?”
-“Uhhh…” and now was the scariest part of this meeting - to tell you. Shoto looked at Izuku out of the corner of his eye, looking for an answer as to what to do. -“With Shoto we wanted to ask you something…”
-“Yes…” you said under your breath.
-“Would you like to be with us?” Todoroki asked suddenly, leaning back in his chair.
You and Deku looked shocked at the two-colored man. You dropped your chopsticks as you watched Sho like you saw a ghost. Izuku immediately started waving his arms, trying to reassure you, saying that they were not forcing you to be in relationship with them, that they would not be in a hurry, that they would not be angry if you refused, and ect.
It just took you a moment to process Shoto’s question. They wanted to date you? Really? You were like close friends during your school years, but you didn’t think they had any other than platonic feelings about you. They were both open and comfortable, both shy and anxious around you or when talking to you. You wouldn’t be lying if you said you didn’t have feelings for them in the U.A., but once you found out they were in a relationship, it discouraged you a lot.
-“So?” Todoroki called again.
-“Sho, calm down, give her ti…”
-“Yes.” you replied, getting “Uh!?” from them. - “I accept, I would like to date you.”
-“Really?” Midoriya asked in surprise.
-“Yes…” you said, tying your hands on the table. -“I would just ask for time to get used to, as this will be my first relationship in my life, especially with more than one person.”
-“We’ll give you all the time you need.” Todoroki said, taking your hand in his. Where did you get this confidence? - Izuku wondered.
-”Thanks.”
-“So… should we continue our dinner to celebrate our relationship?” the green-haired man asked cheerfully.
-“Yes!” you and Shoto answered at the same time.

You watched as Dabi paced in front of you as you hugged your knees to your chest. Shoto had come to sit next to you and you were grateful for his calming presence. He kept giving you a weird look and then looking at his brother. He obviously wanted to ask what was going on between the two of you, but you mouthed, “later” at him and he shrugged it off.
“Ok. So what? He has a list of my safe houses. That’s okay… That’s arguably a good thing actually.” Dabi was thinking out loud trying, and even though his voice sounded calm, you could see the way his hands balled into fists so tight his staples were pulling.
“No one knows about this place. This is the safest house out of all of them. I bought it after I left the League, it’s in the middle of nowhere, and the security is the best money can buy.” He stopped his pacing and looked at his brother, “So…”
Shoto draped a lazy arm around you and you released a tense breath you hadn’t realized you were holding. He quirked his head at his older brother, “So…? What? Why is that a good thing?”
Dabi’s eyes got this scary look. They practically glowed and you could tell whatever he was thinking probably wasn’t good. “It means we can pick them off. Set up traps for them at my other safe houses. It might take some time… we won’t know what houses they’re targeting so at first it’ll be a lot of guess work.” You could see a scheme hatching behind his eyes and for once he truly looked like a villain. “You said Bakugo was already out looking for them, right? I can meet up with him! They’re my houses after all, no one knows them better than me.”
He took off towards the bedroom mumbling something about needing to pack. Your wide eyes connected with Shoto’s, “How long before he remembers he’d have to leave me behind and panics?”
Shoto hummed, “I’d say about thirty seconds after he’s done packing.” He shrugged, “It’s not a bad plan honestly. I see he’s gotten rather attached to you lately though.”
You could hear the unspoken question and you weren’t sure you were ready to jump into that conversation just yet. It was bad enough that Katsuki knew. You shrugged and averted your eyes back to the door Dabi had disappeared behind. “We’ve gotten pretty close. You learn a lot about someone when you’re stuck in a house with them.”
“SHIT!”
Shoto sighed, “Sounds like he just remembered.”
Dabi stomped back into the living room and stopped a few feet in front of you. His stare was intense almost like he was trying to see through you. You could see his frustration growing as he battelled internally over what he should do. “I can’t leave you here by yourself… I don’t want to leave you at all. But- But I can’t take you with me either.” You could see his mind running a mile a minute trying to come up with a solution.
“You can leave me here, I’m not totally useless. I have the collar, so you can call me, check on my location and vitals and all that creepy shit.” You gestured to the younger Todoroki sitting next to you, “And I’m sure your brother and Izuku are dying to have some time to catch up. They can keep me company. Kiri too if need be.”
Dabi kneeled in front of you and laid his arms on either side of you, caging you in. “It would drive me insane leaving you here.”
You brushed your thumb over the spot between his eyes, smoothing out his worried expression. “More insane than if you stayed here and let Katsuki handle this on his own?”
His body sagged and he leaned his forehead onto your shoulder. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say it sounds like you want me to go.”
You leaned your head on his. “Of course I don’t want you to go idiot. But I hate to break it to you, I know you pretty well… And I don’t think sitting here day after day listening to you complain about how you could do it better, sounds like fun.” He groaned because he knew you were right. “So, go ahead and go. I’ll be fine here I promise. Go catch some bad guys with Katsuki.”
“Ugh don’t say it like that. You make is sound like a cheesy buddy cop movie. I just hope your little hero friend isn’t squeamish because I’m not going to hold back.”
Shoto cleared his throat, “Some of us… little heroes… have seen enough shit to last a lifetime. Bakugo’s the hardest working and grittiest out of us all, so believe me when I say you don’t need to worry about him.”
Dabi narrowed his eyes at his brother who he had just realized was practically cuddling with you. “Seeing death and dealing it out are two different things. I know he’s capable of killing someone, but mentally I don’t think he could cross that line.” He held a hand up to stop Shoto from arguing with him. “And I don’t care if he doesn’t want to get his precious hero hands dirty. Because that’s what I’m here for, and I’m honestly looking forward to it.”
You huffed, “Listen, I really don’t like the look you get when you talk about killing people. It’s sick… killing isn’t supposed to be fun you psychopath.”
His eyes shifted back to yours, “Baby girl. I want to make something clear. I will find the sick fucks that kidnapped you. I will torture them in the most painful and humiliating ways possible. By the time I’m done… they will welcome death with open arms. I’ll be doing them a favor.” His forehead pressed against yours. “Unless you’d rather I save them for you…My destroyer of men.”
You hit his shoulder, “I’d rather you let Katsuki arrest them! You know how I feel about killing villains.”
His hand gripped the back of your neck hard to force you to look at him, “…No. You know I can’t do that. The sooner you accept that, the easier all of this will be.” His thumb rubbed your cheek, “I know it sucks. But this is the world you live in now. We can’t trust anyone but ourselves.”
Shoto cleared his throat, “Listen I don’t know what is going on between the two of you, but I would appreciate it if you refrained from being kinky in my presence.”
Dabi growled, “Fuck off! You literally let yourself in unannounced… When all of this over I swear we’re leaving the fucking country. I’m so sick of you brats just coming over whenever you feel like it. We’re gonna leave and you’ll never see us again.”
Shoto quirked an eyebrow, “So… Even after all of this is resolved… you plan to still live with y/n?” You could see the gears turning in his head as he pieced all of this together. “Hmm interesting.” He got up and stretched. “Well I guess I’ll give you guys some alone time to… do whatever this is… just without me having to witness it.”
“Hey before you go… You sure you’re okay with keeping an eye on her while I’m gone?” You hadn’t heard Dabi sound so uncertain before. Usually he carried so much confidence that it was overwhelming. But now he sounded lost.
Shoto nodded, “Yeah it’s not a big deal. Izuku and I can take shifts. Kirishima will probably take over every now and then depending on how long you are gone… But we don’t mind. Y/n was right when she said we’d like to catch up with her.” He gave you an awkward wink that was completely out of character for him. “You’ve been hoarding her all to yourself for months now.” He walked down the hall and shouted, “Try not to be too loud. I’ll just pick the room that smells the least like sex.”
“Good luck! I’ve fucked her on every surface of the hou—” You slammed a hand over Dabi’s mouth to cut him off.
You hid your face in Dabi’s shoulder to stifle your laugh. “I love your brother so much. He has no filter and it’s honestly so refreshing.”
A quick slap to your thigh had you gasping, “I don’t appreciate you talking about my brother that way.” He nipped at your earlobe harshly, “Especially after I just agreed to let him stay here while I’m gone.”
Before you could respond he was standing up and throwing you over his shoulder, “I think I need to remind you who you fucking belong to.” He slapped your ass as you shrieked, “I might be gone for a while, so I think I need to give you something to remember.”
“You are so ridiculous! He’s literally in a committed relationship with another man!”
Dabi tossed you onto his bed and immediately fell on top of you. “He’s also my brother and I know that slut swings both ways.” He bit down hard on your shoulder, “I’m going to leave my fucking mark all over you before I go.” He sucked a bruise into your neck, “Tonight… I’m going to claim every fucking inch of you.”
He had you naked underneath him within seconds, kissing down the column of your neck. He continued down to suck a nipple into his mouth and you had to bite down on your lip to keep from screaming.
“Come on baby, let him hear you. Let him hear how good I treat you. Let him know that there is only one Todoroki for you.”
You wanted to argue with him. There was no way Shoto was interested in you at all. He’d been in love with Izuku since high school. But you were also enjoying the way Dabi was marking his territory. There was something so peaceful about giving up control to another person, especially someone you trust.
You let him kiss and suck and grope every part of you. In this moment you were his to do with as he wished. You didn’t care he was leaving mark after mark on your skin. He was claiming you, he was daring others to lay a finger on what it is his. And you fucking loved it. You loved the peace and the comfort that came with the idea of him declaring that you are his. The security of knowing he wouldn’t let another soul touch you.
He bit harshly into your inner thigh, making you yelp and buck your hips.
He chuckled darkly as he came back up and rubbed his nose against yours. “Baby girl, just look at your face. I haven’t even touched your pussy yet and you already looked so fucked out.” He dragged his fingers lightly over your stomach, across your ribs, over your breast, and finally let them settle on your neck.
You shivered and closed your eyes, “Dabiiii, stop teasing me.”
His fingers tightened around your throat. “You said some shit earlier that really got under my skin. And now I can’t decide if I should punish you or not.”
Your head spun as it tried to think about what you possibly could have said to upset him. “What – what did I say?”
Dabi leaned in sucking your bottom lip into his mouth before biting down hard. “You said…. You loved my brother.”
Your heart pounded in your chest and you felt an intense heart overwhelm your face and neck. Was he saying what you thought he was saying? Was he jealous? Did he want you to say you loved him? Is that really what he wanted to hear?
You hadn’t noticed him pulling his own pants down until he was thrusting into you. “I’m a selfish man y/n. I’m greedy. I don’t share. And hearing those sweet little words said about someone else.” His hips snapped into yours harder, as his fingers got even tighter around your neck to the point where you were sure there would be bruises.
His pace picked up and you could feel the sweat dripping from his forehead, “I wanna hear you say it. Who do you love?”
Your eyes rolled back as you croaked out a horse “you”
“That’s not good enough doll. I said! WHO do you FUCKIN LOVE?”
His fingers let go of your throat and as intense pleasure washed over you, leaving your legs shaking, “YOU!”
He fucked you through your orgasm before he followed right behind you, “That’s what I fuckin thought.”
He only parted with you long enough to clean the two of you up. He wandered to the bathroom to get a warm, wet towel. You hummed contently as rubbed it all over your body, especially over the sore new marks he had made on your skin. When he was satisfied, he tossed the rag to the floor to deal with later and rejoined you in bed. He pulled you to him, your back to his chest, and let out a huge sigh. “I’m really nervous about leaving you here. And it honestly makes me angry. I’ve never cared about another person like this, hell I’ve never even cared about my own well being this much.” You could feel him resting his chin on your shoulder, “It makes me feel weak and I hate it.”
You intertwined your fingers with his that were wrapped around your middle. “You know what they say about bravery right? Bravery isn’t not being scared. Only stupid people aren’t scared of anything. Bravery is being scared of something and doing it anyway.” You sank further into his embrace. “If it makes you feel any better, I’m scared too. Which is equally as frustrating.”
You could feel him kiss your shoulder, encouraging you to continue. “I used to be incredibly independent. I lived alone, I worked alone, because of the classified nature of my job I was pretty isolated. I didn’t need anyone, and I was more than happy to get shit done on my own…Now the thought doing anything without you gives me anxiety.”
He sighed, “If anything that makes me feel worse… I believe we have a classic case of codependency… it’s your fault by the way. For sucking me in to your annoyingly needy arms.”
“Says the guy who has his arms currently wrapped around me like a vice.” You wanted to stay in this sweet moment. He was never this open with you, never this soft. “And even though it’s not my fault, I will admit that I did kind of need you for everything when I first got here.” You felt his chest rumble with silent laughter. “But you never really complained, did you? To be honest I had thought you would have been… I don’t know… a little more… cold I guess.”
His hands heated up as they rubbed circles into your stomach. “To anyone else I definitely would have been.” He turned you around so he could pull your chest to his and rolled onto his back, tucking your head under his chin. “I was fucking toast the second you fell into my arms though.” He groaned, “UGH! I sound like such a pussy. I hate it.”
You pressed several kisses to his chest, “Well I don’t hate it.”
There was a long stretch of silence in which the two of you just held each other, not wanting to burst your bubble.
Dabi cleared his throat and you knew he wanted to talk about it. “Listen… While I’m gone all of the laws are still valid. You still need to take care of yourself. Just because I’m not here to force you to eat lunch doesn’t mean you don’t have to.” His fingers rubbed up and down your spine. “I’m sure if you ask the guys, they’ll work out with you, but they need to keep their filthy hands to themselves.” His hand stopped at your collar, “And as much I hate saying this. Don’t call me.”
You lifted your head and gave him a confused look, “What? You worried your side chicks will hear?”
He reached down and slapped your ass, “Shut up. I literally live with you and we never leave the house. That jokes not even funny.” His hand started to rub the same spot he had just slapped, “I’m being serious though. I don’t want you to call me. If something happens and they get my phone, or hell if they somehow capture me, I don’t want anything tying me to you. Shigaraki suspects you’re with me otherwise he wouldn’t be going through my safe houses. But he doesn’t know you’re with me, and I want to keep it that way.” His voice got quitter as he mumbled into your hair, “Besides… I think if I heard your voice I’d give up and come home.”
You froze, “Okay, that is officially the softest thing you’ve ever said to me… and I love it.”
He growled low in your ear, “That’s it, I’m going to start calling you whore, and making you call me sir. I’m losing my damn edge.”
You just giggled, knowing he was bluffing, but then again… he did get you a collar.
“I’m going to miss you… sir.”
“I’m gonna miss you too… my special little whore.”
You sarcastically beamed at him, “Aww you think I’m special?”
That night, you barley slept. You were so worried he’d leave without waking you up to say bye. So, as a consequence you woke up several times throughout the night and every time, he’d pull you closer and mumble a sleepy “still here.”
When morning finally came you sat on the bed with your kneed tucked under your chin as you watched him finish getting ready. Your eyes followed him as he walked around the room, taking his time. He knew the sooner he got dressed the sooner he’d have to leave.
Finally, when he had no other choice, he laced his boots up and looked at you. “Come here…” He held his arms out to you and you quickly slid into his embrace. “You be a good girl while I’m gone, okay?” He kissed the top of your head. “Listen to Shoto and try not to give him too much shit. Follow the laws, don’t watch any of our shows while I’m gone, if there’s any big emergencies have one of the guys call Bakugo.”
You nodded and looked up into his bright blue eyes, “You be safe, and don’t do anything stupid. Come back preferably in one piece please.”
He chuckled, “I will do my best doll.”

His alarm signed the beginning of a new day, a day Shoto hadn't been looking forward to, not more than any other. He'd intentionally ignore the texts on his phone, still in a morning haze where he couldn't deal with the wishes of his family ( the only people he expected to remember what day it was, if caring to text him this early ). He realized he was mistaken though, when he found someone standing at his door. Having woken up at the sound of heavy rain, and meeting his most dear friend first thing in the morning, was more than he could have ever asked to brighten up his day, but it seemed as if more awaited him.
If only Midoriya knew his place in Shoto's heart. His hero, bright and as if standing on a pedestal, beyond his reach. But suddenly, he was there, right in front of him, not as Deku but simply as his friend, an image he wouldn't forget as long as he lived, for this was a day different than most. Not a reminder of his loneliness, like his past birthdays used to be, but the reminder of his inner growth, and the connections he had made in the last year. Becoming someone he didn't despise, and who could be taught what was like to be loved again. All because of HIM.
Tumblr media
“ You remembered? ” were the first words to slip his mouth, surprise evident in his eyes as he stared at the green-haired and the offered gift. As if the sour past memories of this day no longer had a place in his heart, as if replaced by the sentiment of this moment, Shoto smiled at the other. A wide smile free of any reservations, of any dark thoughts to cloud his heart and mind. “ Thank you, Midoriya. ” How sweet were the words, a different taste than usual. Carefully he'd attempt to unwrap the present, a bit uncertain if that was the tradition, revealing what his friend had made for him and the tickets. He took the charm in his hand, holding it tight to his fist as if it was his most precious possession. “ I'll always have this with me. ” He cast another glance of gratitude, and next to his attention were the tickets. “ Would you mind going with me? ” He never had gone to a place like this, and only if it was with Midoriya, it'd be really worth it. “ It's a place you should go with friends, right? ”

@withsorrowandregret asked:
[  nap  ] (Midoriya for Todoroki)

Tumblr media
Rest, no matter how crucial to all, had no place in the schedule of the students in class 1-A. Hectic was the rhythm of their lives, as time would add to their responsibilities. Running faster towards the goals they had set, none would take a moment to catch their breath, as if hypnotized by the hope they were close enough to almost grasp what they dreamt of becoming. As if they chased after a chance they wouldn't come across again, they'd give everything they had not to miss it. Moments of peace wouldn't be earned with ease, and often, wouldn't be appreciated. Because they always had more of themselves to dedicate, limits they could push further, bits of strength they could still take advantage of.
Shoto wasn't any different, not when he still was in his starting line, chasing after everyone else, in his race of discovering himself. To think, for so long, he falsely believed he was ahead, far away so none would ever reach him. Arrogance, pain, played nasty tricks with one's brain, altering reality to his needs. Only for someone to wake him up, from his lonely state of existence, and remind him, he hadn't taken the road in life he had chosen, and he had to start over — so he'd follow him, in the path he had taken, with steady and quick steps, when agonizingly watching him drift away from his sight.
Midoriya was the worst case of them all, having a habit of pushing himself past his breaking point. When his classmate fell asleep right next to him, he wasn't taken by surprise, even if usually it'd happen the other way around — Shoto giving in to his body's demands of recharging, and ending up sleeping at the most absurd places and the most random times. To see his friend surrendering to exhaustion, was a good sign. Thankfully, there still were things out of his control, considering how self-destructive was the other, never paying mind to his own needs. No hero, no mentor could teach him how to care for himself, leaving it up to them, those who worried for him, to keep an eye on him, and care for him in ways he wouldn't.
Tumblr media
This time, Shoto happened to be the one responsible, when the green-haired leant against his shoulder, relaxing in his presence. His breathing had slowed down, emerald eyes sealed shut. He'd wear an expression he could stare for hours — of pure peace, a surprisingly rare sight. How simple, yet how fascinating moments like these were. Watching a friend peacefully sleep, stay by his side so he'd rest comfortably, offer enough warmth, count his breaths, as if failing to believe he was part of this — how from an outsider, an indifferent passer-by, suddenly he had earned the place of a friend, of someone who could silently watch and admire his bright course of life. The place of someone who found peace, in watching him rest, even for a short while.

hi! I was hoping you could do a Bakugo, Midoriya, Todoroki and Kirishima (separate) with an s/o that has Tourettes, preferably they/them pronouns please. I hope you're having a good day <3
Of course! I was gonna take a break in the middle of my (unspoken) break aka me being lazy, but this request was so nice I- I had to 😔✋🏾 it was definitely the heart. It got me.
MHA BOYS WITH AN S/O THAT HAS TOURETTES
TW FOR ODD LOOKS AND STARES/BULLYING(ISH)
BAKUGO
Tumblr media
Bakugo wasn’t really sure when he first met you about why your head was twitching or why you were repeating the sentences Aizawa had said sometimes, as he didn’t know you had tourettes. He never even spoke to you like the others did so you never had the chance to tell him until Kirishima did.
When you two started dating he started seeing patterns of when you would get to stressed and start jerking or spouting out random things you heard from youtube videos, he did his best to make sure you knew he was there for reassurance, whether it was a hand on your hand or just pure presence.
There were times when you would have ticcing fits and he would have to sit and rub your back and watch you, and in those times you realized he really was there for you.
He likes to do this thing where he rants on about things he doesn’t like to try and distract you- I’m not sure how he has so much he doesn’t like but every time it’s a new odd topic....sometimes it can literally be something like how he hates trees because when it’s fall he has to rake up the leaves and you have to say
“Bakugo they literally help you not die.” It really is a mystery sometimes how he’s so smart.
Sometimes you can be a bit upset with your tics. It’s not that you’re insecure or that you’re ashamed, but they’re difficult to deal with. The control that you could have isn’t there and that’s stressful in and of itself, and in those moments Bakugo realizes the best thing he can do for you - is make you understand that you are just like the rest of the class and the rest of the people in the world.
“Listen it doesn’t matter if you’re different because to me you’re still cool, you’re still funny, you’re still incredibly sarcastic and while I don’t enjoy that for the most part- you’re my extra regardless of whatever you feel. Get that bull out of your head.”
I mean, he wouldn’t date anybody less than the best.
MIDORIYA
Tumblr media
Midoriya is the predictable character in the relationship. He researched about Tourettes and what he could do in times when you needed him, I mean he’s not perfect but he’d rather know something rather than nothing.
You tended to be the one who was more of a risk taker, and sometimes your tourettes got in the way of that- which could frustrate you to no end then causing harsher tics like hitting or yelling, and those were the times Midoriya tried to get anything too dangerous either out of your hands- or just out of the way so you didn’t get hurt, he was smart with it.
Other times he could be too much for you, almost treating you like a kid so you had to remind him that you know and understand precautions, but that you also want to live like everybody else and that is nothing short of your business.
You’re favorite activity with him was when he would help you study because he made it so fun for you. It could be hard to pay attention in class sometimes and do your work after school so Izuku would come over and assist you. He would make sure you guys took breaks and that you understood the topic at your own pace.
“Izuku can you like- give an example?”
“Well it’s just kind of- wait what is an example-“
In many situations Midoriya LOVED holding your hand, like he did it at any time, any place. It was something he thought wasn’t too much in public and it was reassuring for you both. When you’re tics got too much you could squeeze his hand, and other times when he wouls get anxious or something would happen he would squeeze yours. It was cute and handy!
There were instances when Midoriya definitely had his mistakes with your tics and how to deal with them but he was willing to take his time and learn because who would he be without his perfect person stayin’ by his side?
KIRISHIMA
Tumblr media
Kirishima is probably the most sympathetic with your tics because he stay prepared for them. It’s never been like “Kirishima can you” but it’s always been more like ‘Kiri how do you always know’ and there’s never been an answer that he gave other than ‘I gotta stay ready for my lovely lover~’
Kirishima likes to do this thing where he goes “neck” after you have a rough day with your tics and with massage your neck for you or your back, depending on how your tics were. He likes takin’ care of you, and it’s not like he doesn’t know you can’t take care of yourself because hey, you didn’t get into 1-A by being a pushover.
Sometimes you’ve had times when people in school just aren’t all that accepting and Kirishima will clap back unprovoked.
“Sometimes I think about how sad you have to be to make fun of them and dang man, you got a therapist?”
Other times you’ll basically respond for him, like I said, you can DEFINITELY take care of yourself.
Whenever you’re in the car or on the bus on a trip in the case that you’ve gotten real excited (which is natural being around your boyfriends and your friends at the same time) he’ll play this playlist he made of your favorite songs and sing to distract you. Does he sing well? That wasn’t the question- but he does sing, only for you though because the other students keep dissing him.
He has a reflex of rubbing your back during free period or at lunch. I don’t think this is relevant but it’s something super adorable, and sometimes he just gives you his hand to look at and play with when you have anxiety as well to keep you calm.
Also irrelevant but other times he’ll facetime you before you guys go somewhere and ask what to wear because he wants to match with you, and it’s so cute because you could lie so hard and he’d believe everything you say.
You two are kinda a power couple like- you both can hold your own but also are such nice people, good job makin’ the rest of 1-A feel lonely guys.
TODOROKI
Tumblr media
Todoroki is a simple guy. He doesn’t want to overcomplicate things for the most part because “why would I act like your guardian, if I’m literally your boyfriend” and that’s that.
He tends to try and keep you calm, as it’s something pretty simple for him, he knows a bunch of tactics for distractions or when those are obsolete, he’ll just sit there with you, and maybe rub your back or get a water bottle for when it’s done, he just never wants to do too much because he knows your capabilities, and he knows your limits.
He is also a large hand holder. Mostly because he doesn’t like the idea of PDA for the most part, and he doesn’t like leaving your side either, because you’re very comforting to him. It’s a given we all know he needs love and comfort please.
There have been times when people look at your because of your tics in public and Todoroki has had to give a little glare back because of the disrespect being blatantly put out. In rarer times you will both glare at the same time, those are the coolest moments of you as a couple.
Shoto doesn’t really care much for your tics only because he’d rather just make sure you’re ok then watch Avengers rather than treat you like a child if anything, and that’s because you told him first that you wanted a boyfriend not a babysitter (speakin’ facts) and at first he didn’t understand and he thought you didn’t want his help but soon understood otherwise.
Some cute things I like to think of are that he likes to put on your favorite songs when you’re anxious and try to dance for you. It’s not good- let’s start with that, because he’s kinda...stiff, but the attempt is absolutely adorable (and oh so funny).
Other things are he likes to call you cheesy nicknames when you’re cuddling because he likes your reactions everytime, because according to him, yeah he said it himself, you are very adorable when annoyed. Don’t @ me!
Overall he just loves spending time with you whenever he can, you’re truly a safe-haven for him.
EL FIN
-
Alright tourettes is a real thing y’all, so I didnt make this rainbows n cupcakes bc im sure that’s not always how it is.
If anything in this is offensive or too much for somebody I can take it down and re-do it! I’m not too sure how it is bc it feels kinda repetitive but we’ll see I guess, and thanks to the person who requested my day was fine thanks 😩✋🏾.
I also included some things I like to do (play with hands and listen to music) because i have anxiety and I known that can worsen tics and can also come with tics (a lot of ppl with tics have adhd, anxiety, or some sort of disorder along with it)

MHA: Save Rock and Roll
So I had this MAGNIFICENT realization today. Save Rock and Roll (Fall Out Boy’s arguable best album) lines up with some of my favorite characters. So I’m going to break it down. More below page break!
The album starts off strong, with The Phoenix.
This song deals with an absolute shit ton of fire imagery, which initially drew me to the Todoroki boys. However, the motif of changing, and rising up from the ashes reminded me of a certain... dusty man. The Phoenix in my opinion symbolizes Tomura Shigaraki. Shigaraki is incredibly impatient, always pushing forward to reach his goal, and feeling like things are stacked against him. This song perfectly encompasses this
Symbolic Lyrics:  One maniac at a time we will take it back You know time crawls on when you're waiting for the song to start
The next song is a more mellow tone, Young Volcanoes
I was super torn between two very drastically different characters for this one, but finally settled on Tamaki Amajiki. This song feels like a dying summer, almost melancholically happy. It’s a song thats not full of words, but more-so feeling. Tamaki is quiet, with a shy happiness, much like this song.
Symbolic Lyrics: C'mon, make it easy, say I never mattered Run it up the flag pole
Next in line is Alone Together
When I first heard alone together, I knew it would be for someone with a troubled past. I settled on someone who I feel genuinely seeks companionship while overcoming their past. Shoto Todoroki is exemplified in this song 110%. He trauma dumps to anyone who listens, and is overcoming his past with friend/companionship.
Symbolic Lyrics:  But do you got room for one more troubled soul I don't know where I'm going, But I don't think I'm coming home
Fourth on the album is Light ‘Em Up
This song could very obviously be about Dabi, but it felt more like a character who is fundamentally flawed, but hides behind a facade. Dabi owns his flaws, where as Keigo Takami. The hero commission is fundamentally flawed, of which Keigo is aware. Yet he still shows loyalty to a fundamentally broken system.
Symbolic Lyrics:  My childhood spat back the monster that you see
Next up is The Mighty Fall
I immediately knew this character would be one to view falling in love as showing vulnerability. Vulnerability for them would be very rare to be shown, and it would be someone whose bonds are near unbreakable. Obviously for this, I felt Katsuki Bakugou was perfect. He is a character who would absolutely view it as “the mighty falling” when he falls in love.
Symbolic Lyrics:  They say I got screws missing, well hell, only when I'm missing you And, hell yeah, I'm addict, girl, addicted to you
My favorite song on the album, Just One Yesterday
This song immediately read to me as someone who wants what other people have, and views themselves in both a self-hatred and self-deity kind of way. Essentially, they’re at the corner of God Complex and I Hate Myself Avenue. I felt this song reflected Hitoshi Shinso. This song deals with both a feeling of yearning and a sense of determination.
Symbolic Lyrics:  I don't have the right name O-o-o-or the right looks But I have twice the heart Anything you say can and will be held against you So only say my name
The coolest music video on the album, Where Did the Party Go?
This song has dance party, and vibes written all over it. Therefore it goes to resident party animal, Denki Kaminari. Denki has very relaxed energy when it comes to relationships with people, and this song definitely embodies that, set to a dance-type beat.
Symbolic Lyrics:  My old aches become new again My old friends become ex's again, yeah Oh where did the party go?
Next up is Death Valley
This song feels like someone holding on regardless of the circumstances, no matter how stacked against them they are. Eijiro Kirishima refuses to give up, regardless of how badly he is hurt. Death Valley deals with the feeling of giving it your all, even if it won’t be enough.
Symbolic Lyrics: I'm either gone in an instant Or here 'til the bitter end I, I never know
One of the most complex songs on the album, Rat-a-Tat
This song is a call to arms. It urges the rejects of society to get on their feet and respond. It’s also an anthem to people wishing for a world they belong in. For me, that is Touya Todoroki/Dabi. Touya longs to have been accepted by his father, yet he never was. There are so SO so many lyrics that make sense for this song to be Touya.
Symbolic Lyrics:
1.  To get on St. Peter's list But you need to lower your standards 'Cause it's never Getting any better than this
2.  Remember me as I was not as I am
3.  I'm the lonelier version of you I just don't know where I went wrong
Getting closer to the end, we have Miss Missing You.
This song (especially with recent episodes/manga) is heartbreaking when applied to a very specific person. Shota Aizawa has so many people he will carry with him, in his heart and memories. This song feels like Aizawa sitting down with Class 1-A and being honest with them about the hero lifestyle, and that the heroes do not always win. Its heartbreaking when you look at it through this lense.
Symbolic Lyrics:  Sometimes before it gets better The darkness gets bigger The person that you'd take a bullet for, is behind the trigger Oh, we're fading fast
The titular and final song on the album is Save Rock and Roll
One listen to this song and it becomes apparent that it is a hero who will defend his beliefs to the hilt. For us, that is Izuku Midoriya. Izuku understands the flaws of both sides of the coin, and has chosen to become a symbol of peace that truly everyone can unite behind. Save Rock and Roll deals with the resentment heroes feel towards those who helped put them in their positions of power, and their resentment of society for needing to be saved. Yet Izuku (and the protagonist of the song) still answer the call to heroism. They follow what is truly right.
Symbolic Lyrics:  Well, how'd it get to be only me (me, me, me, me)? Like I'm the last damn kid still kicking that still believes I will defend the faith

Req: Izuku & Katsuki were soulmates. There was a 💥 mark on Izuku's arm. But then Katsuki got his Quirk. And their relationship soured. And the suicide-bait/dare made Izuku realize that he & Katsuki aren't meant to be together. Because your soulmate aren't supposed to hurt you, right? So the next day when Izuku checks his arm, he notices the 💥 is gone, replaced with a ❄️🔥 mark.
(Oooooooo let’s go!!! Imma preface this with this is not bakudeku! Warning for descriptions of explicit bullying)
*
'Kacchan!' Izuku exclaimed, spotting his friend on the other side of the playground. He wiggled his hand out of his mum's grasp and ran forwards, despite her shouting after him to wait a minute.
Izuku was excited though!
Over the weekend, his soulmark had finally appeared and he couldn't wait to tell Kacchan about it. When he had asked his mum about it, she had told him that soulmarks could appear anywhere and that they were unique to each individual - they also tended to reflect a person's quirk, which Izuku thought was super cool.
Of course, Izuku didn't have a quirk, so he didn't know what his soulmate's own mark would look like, but when he woke up Sunday morning and saw the orange mark of a detonating explosion bleeding across his forearm, he couldn't help but wonder what kind of person his soulmate was.
'Kacchan!' He panted as he ran. However, when his friend turned around, a manic smile plastered to his face, Izuku skidded to a halt and stared at him with wide eyes.
Kacchan faced him, hands held out in front of him, palms up as small explosions emitted from them. Izuku watched as crackles of energy danced in the air around them, and instantly moved to trace the soulmark covering his arm.
My soulmate is...
'Oh look, it's Deku.' Kacchan smirked. 'Guess whose quirk showed up over the weekend! Unlike you, I have a quirk and it's the best ever!'
To accentuate his point, he set off a flurry of explosions as the kids around him cheered with excitement and wonder. Izuku winced slightly at the sound, but gathered the courage to speak up.
'That's a really cool quirk, Kacchan!' He smiled up at his friend. 'I got my soulmark yesterday too! Did you get yours?'
Izuku hadn't meant anything by it - just childlike curiosity - but Kacchan scoffed anyway and looked at him with disdain.
'I don't care about soulmarks, they're stupid!' He put special emphasis on the last word and sneered at Izuku, before leaning in close to whisper in his ear. 'After all, they've got it wrong. If my soulmate is a quirkless nobody like the mark on my arm says, then I don't want him.'
Izuku trembled as he looked down at his friend's arm to find the slightest smudge of green poking out from under his sleeve.
'Ka- Kacchan…' He hated the way his vision had started to blur. He knew how much everyone already loathed him for being quirkless, but it still hurt to hear his best friend say such mean words.
'Also, from now on you're going to cover your arm, Deku.' Kacchan continued, wrapping his hand around Izuku's soulmark and squeezing hard. 'If anyone finds out that I'm connected to you in any way, then I'll burn the mark off myself.'
Kacchan pulled away then and returned to the crowd of awaiting children, showing off more of his quirk. 'Got it?!'
Izuku nodded quickly. When the blonde vanished into his sea of admirers, he swallowed heavily and looked down at his feet, until his mum finally approached from his side and placed a hand on his shoulder.
'Are you okay, sweetie?' She knelt down and looked at him, concerned. 'I was just talking to Aunt Mitsuki, apparently Katsuki got his quirk. Did you tell him about your soulmark?'
'He said he doesn't care about that stuff.'
'Is that why you're upset?'
'I'm not upset!' Izuku tried to smile at his mum reassuringly, but he was betrayed by the large tears that started to fall from his eyes. 'I promise, I'm okay.'
'Oh, Izuku.' She whispered, wiping away his tears before wrapping him in a tight hug. 'Was he being mean to you again?'
'No.' Izuku lied, burying his face in his mum's shoulder as small sobs escaped him.
'Baby, I can't help if you don't tell me.' She urged him, stroking his hair. 'I can always talk to your teachers or Aunt Mitsuki or-'
'Please don't.' He whispered. It wouldn't help anyway; his teachers knew what was going on, and if Kacchan found out Izuku had told on him, then that would make things worse. 'I'm fine!'
Izuku pulled back and wiped at his red eyes, before flashing his signature All Might smile. 'Everything's fine! Heroes don't cry!'
His mum tried to smile back, but her eyes were sad. In the distance, he heard a series of explosions, followed by laughter.
Kacchan is my soulmate… But soulmates are meant to love each other.
☀️
'What’ve you got there, Deku?' Kacchan smirked as he shoved into Izuku and yanked his notebook out of his hands.
'Kacchan, don't!' He pleaded, reaching out to try and grab his second hero analysis book. 'Please give it back!'
His friend laughed and held it high in the air so Izuku couldn't reach. He tried to get past him, gripping onto Kacchan's uniform to try and pull the notebook towards him.
'Oh, I don't think so.' He spoke dangerously.
This wasn't the first time this had happened - Izuku was used to having his things stolen as he was mocked for trying to get them back. He had recently gotten to the point where he had just accepted that Kacchan wasn't going to return any of the items, so had stopped putting up a fight when it happened. He couldn't just do that now though. His hero analysis books were important! He needed it back!
'Please, Kacchan! Please give it back! I'm begging you!' He cried, fearful tears streaming down his cheeks.
'Hey, stop crying!' Was all the response he got before a rough hand wrapped around his wrist and he was pushed to the ground, small explosions shooting across his skin like needles. Izuku didn't cry at the pain though. He had long since gotten used to the feeling of his soulmate's blows. After all, he had the mark branded onto his skin to remind him.
He tried to scramble to his feet but was stopped by two of Kacchan's cronies, who had each put a foot on his arms to hold him down. He could do nothing but stare as his friend moved to stand over him, flipping open the notebook and scanning the pages.
'"The offensive strategies used by All Might and how it gives insight into the true nature of his quirk."' Kacchan huffed, before looking away to meet Izuku's gaze. 'What the fuck is this, Deku?'
'M- My hero analysis book.' He stuttered out. 'I'm writing down things about heroes and quirks, that's all. Please give it back. I'll do anything!'
The grin that appeared on Kacchan's face was enough to turn Izuku's blood cold. He swallowed heavily and stared up at him, apprehension evident on his face.
'Anything?'
Izuku sighed, resigned to whatever fate they chose for him, and closed his eyes.
'Yes. Just give me my book back, please.'
Smirking, Kacchan opened the book once more and ripped a page out, eliciting a cry from Izuku. 'Wait! What are you doing?! I-'
He was cut off when Kacchan suddenly crouched down and hovered over him, crumpling the page up into a ball and holding it out.
'Eat it.'
Izuku froze.
'W- What?'
'I said,' His friend began sweetly, 'Eat it, Deku!'
His companions sniggered from above. 'You want your precious notebook back? You're gonna get it back.'
Fresh tears welled up in Izuku's eyes as his mouth was forced open.
That evening, when his mum asked him why he was late home, Izuku said nothing; numerous paper cuts stung the inside of his mouth. Once he made it to the bathroom, finally allowing his nausea to consume him, he felt himself scratch at the soulmark mocking his arm.
Was his life always going to be like this?
☀️
'If you wanna be a hero so bad, there's actually a really good way!' Kacchan spoke from the door of the classroom. 'If you believe they're holding your quirk over in the next world, you should just dive off the rooftop!'
Izuku fished his ruined hero analysis notebook out of the pond. Really, he should keep his books at home, but he could never bring himself to do it - what if he missed something important because he hadn’t been able to write it down? Additionally, even after over a decade, Izuku’s love for documenting heroes far outweighed his fear of Kacchan, much to the latter's distaste.
'That's not food, stupid fish.' He sniffled as he pulled the book out of the pond, water dripping from the damp pages and trickling down his arm. Izuku winced as his wet sleeve stuck to him, before rolling them up as he fruitlessly tried to dry his notebook.
As he worked, the bright orange mark on his arm shone out of the corner of his eye, staring at him; judging him. Izuku tried to ignore it, but it was no use. He dropped the book onto the stone edging of the pond, watching as liquid seeped out from under it, before he sat down next to it. He held his arm out in front of him and inspected the soulmark that he had grown to hate even more than Kacchan.
We're not meant to be together, we both know it. He traced the raised skin, surrounded by actual scars left by Kacchan's explosions. The orange shone among the mass of silver.
I hate him. I truly hate him for everything he's done. No matter how hard I try, all he does is hurt me. So why? Why are you here? I don't understand. If this is meant to be a destined love, then I'm sorry but I don't want it. The moment I knew it was him, I didn't want it.
Izuku leant forward and held his face in his hands as tears streamed down his cheeks.
Please...
🌙
Shoto woke with a start, drenched in sweat from another nightmare. Instead of his father or whistling kettles though, he had dreamt of explosions, of singed skin and red eyes. He wondered what it had meant.
He panted heavily and blinked as he adjusted to the morning sun that illuminated his room.
'Fuck sake.' Shoto muttered to himself, raising an arm to block the rays shining directly onto his face. However, a dark shadow covering his forearm immediately caught his attention. Eyebrow raised and nightmare completely forgotten, he brought his arm towards him to inspect the mark. 'What the..?'
There was a fork of green lightning etched onto his skin, strings of crimson wrapped around the emerald like vines as the mark spanned the majority of his arm.
Shoto knew about soulmarks and soulmates - they spoke enough about it at school that the subject had been begrudgingly ingrained into his memory. He just… never expected to have a soulmark himself. His old man always told him that soulmates were a distraction and that it was a good thing that Shoto's mark never presented. Personally, he didn't have that strong of an opinion on the topic. After all, life had taught Shoto never to expect anything good anyway - or else he'd be greatly disappointed - so it made sense that he would be cursed to be alone as well.
He continued to stare at his arm as the fingertips of his other hand traced the bolts of green lightning with interest.
Would it be so bad as to hope that his soulmate was a kind person?
☀️
Izuku's back hit the wall with a loud thud. He trembled violently as Kacchan stood over him, his grip tight on his UA uniform collar.
'You bastard.' His old friend snarled. 'Not only have you been hiding your quirk all these years, but now you pull some bullshit and somehow manage to switch soulmates? What the fuck is going on, Deku?'
'I-' Kacchan was really asking him that? 'I thought you didn't want me for a soulmate anyway?'
'Like hell I do!' He yelled in response. 'I'm glad I don't have that ugly mark on my arm anymore, but I wanna know how you did it!'
'I didn't do anything!' Izuku begged him to understand. He really hadn't done anything. He had just woke up that morning, ready to start his first day at UA, when he realised that the orange explosion that had littered his arm was gone, replaced as if it had never been there at all.
Izuku remembered tracing the new mark, a silver snowflake that was half alight with scarlet flames. He had no idea what had happened for it to change, but he silently thanked whoever or whatever was responsible for it. As long as it wasn't Kacchan, Izuku didn't mind who he was destined to be with.
'Stop lying!' His friend suddenly exclaimed, causing him to jump. 'Show me your arm! I wanna see what-'
'Is there a problem here?' A new voice suddenly spoke. The grip on Izuku's collar loosened as Kacchan turned to regard the newcomer, vexed at having been interrupted. Curious, Izuku leant past the blonde to see who had spoken.
Stood in the doorway of the otherwise empty classroom was one of their new classmates - Todoroki Shoto, if he remembered correctly.
...
Who was he kidding? Of course he remembered correctly. The moment he had first locked eyes with the dual-quirk user earlier that day, Izuku had practically swooned. He was, in every sense of the word, gorgeous, after all.
Now though, that beauty, along with his cold stare, felt so intimidating that Izuku found himself unable to meet his eyes, even if the glare wasn’t aimed at him. Instead, he watched Kacchan, waiting for his response.
'None of your business, Icyhot.' He sneered. 'Deku and I were just talking.'
'Really?' A white eyebrow rose as their classmate looked on, unimpressed. 'Seems to me that Midoriya clearly doesn't want to be here. He certainly doesn't look keen to show you his arm either.'
Izuku jumped at that and found himself gripping at his sleeves defensively.
'I don't give a shit if he doesn't want to be here. I'm getting answers, even if I have to beat it out of him!' Kacchan let off a bunch of explosions from his palm to emphasise his point; Izuku winced from the proximity.
'I don't think so.' Todoroki stepped into the room fully. 'I think you're going to get your things and leave, unless you want me to go get Aizawa-Sensei, or maybe All Might.'
Kacchan stiffened at the mention of the two heroes. Sure, in middle school he had all the teachers wrapped around his little finger, but they both knew UA was different; Aizawa especially wouldn't be as easy to fool.
Izuku watched as the two stared each other down, before Kacchan finally tsked and pushed himself away from the wall.
'This isn't over, Deku.' He called as he sauntered past Todoroki and out of the door.
The moment he was out of sight, Izuku sighed heavily as his legs buckled beneath him. He slid down the wall and landed on the floor clumsily, legs extended out in front of him.
He heard Todoroki call his name, but he sounded so far away. It wasn't until a warm hand came to rest on his shoulder that Izuku realised how close his classmate had gotten.
'Midoriya.' Todoroki stared at him with dichromatic eyes that held so much emotion despite his stoic countenance. 'Are you alright? Did Bakugou hurt you?'
Izuku blinked dumbly for a moment, before shaking his head. No one his age had ever cared enough to ask him that.
'N- No, I'm okay.' Izuku assured.
I've had worse.
'Why-' Izuku began, fiddling with the hem of his sleeve. 'Why did you help me?'
'It's a hero's job to help, isn't it?' Todoroki replied, albeit his guarded look seemed to falter slightly as he considered his next words. 'Also… I wanted- I wanted to talk to you too, if you don't mind?'
'Wanted to talk? T- To me?' Izuku pointed to himself and tilted his head to the side. When Todoroki nodded, he found himself mirroring the action. 'O- Okay…'
Pleased with his answer, his classmate stiffened his posture as he prepared himself. 'I have no intention of making friends at this school. UA is merely a stepping stone for me to become a hero.'
Okay…
'That being said,' Todoroki continued to stare at him intensely. 'I can't simply ignore you, Midoriya. I saw the mark on your arm when we were changing into our costumes earlier.'
Izuku's eyes widened as realisation dawned on him. While part of his mind was screaming about the fact that Todoroki had watched him change, the other part was freaking out that he had seen his soulmark.
Before he could say anything though, Shoto rolled up his sleeve to show a fork of green lightning etched onto his skin. Sure, it could be Izuku, he thought, but only because it was green.
'I think we're soulmates.' Todoroki continued. 'My mark only appeared today, and Bakugou was bitching about how his had vanished. Plus, yours is pretty obvious considering my quirk is half hot, half cold, so...'
He trailed off, noticing how Izuku had started to tear up. ‘Midoriya?’
'You…' He whispered. 'You're…'
'Apologies if you're disappointed, but-'
In a moment of boldness, Izuku cut him off by throwing himself forwards and wrapping Todoroki in a tight hug. His classmate froze at the contact, arms glued to his sides.
'I'm sorry for not asking first.' Izuku mumbled, chin bouncing on his shoulder as he spoke. 'I'm just- I'm so happy. Thank you.'
'You don't even know me.' Todoroki murmured, confused. 'You might hate me. I could be a terrible person.'
'No, you're not.' Izuku laughed. 'You don't know me either, but you stepped in when Kacchan was bothering me. No one's ever done that before, I'd say that's a good start.'
He considered his next words. 'Plus, if the universe is giving me a second chance, I’d like to think they got it right this time.'
Several more moments passed, before Izuku realised Todoroki looked slightly uncomfortable and gingerly withdrew. He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed nervously. 'Sorry about that.'
'No.' The slight blush on Todoroki's face was pretty, Izuku noticed. 'It's just… I haven't.' He sighed and scratched his cheek. 'That's the first hug I've had in a while. It was… Nice.'
Izuku beamed at that.
'Well, as your soulmate, you've won a lifetime supply of free hugs if you ever need them!'
The corner of Todoroki's lips twitched upward and Izuku silently thanked whatever force of nature was responsible for allowing him this unexpected happiness.
'I might take you up on that, Midoriya.'

Not sure if you're still accepting requests, but could you possibly write some angst with a happy ending with Shoto? I want my heart to feel something, but not completely break lol.
You’re actually the first person who’s requested something so I’m definitely still accepting them! I just haven’t checked because it’s been so long and no one has asked for anything! (Characters are 18+ and pro-heros already, he’ll also be saying some really OOC things but there’s a reason, don’t worry!) So I don’t know if it’s like, super angsty in my opinion,. But I still hope you enjoy! :)
*****Shoto x Reader (Slight angst)
Jealousy is a dangerous emotion. It’s not something that a lot of people know how to get over easily, especially when it comes to people that they aren’t allowed to have. Many women in Shoto’s agency appreciated his looks, that was obvious enough. One woman in particular you noticed was taking too much of a liking to your husband. Glares would be sent your way when you stood next to him, ate lunch with him, or even smiled at him.
But you’d get back at her by giving him a soft kiss on the cheek and being the reason his ears turned a light shade of pink, or scratching your face with your left hand so that she would be able to see the ring on your finger. It’s not like you had to ‘get back’ at her, but you could tell she didn’t like you simply for the reason that you were married to the man she had been eying.
It wasn’t like you didn’t trust Shoto around her either. He really didn’t give her the time of day unless he had to speak to her about hero business. Even then it was short.
You sat in your office and finished up some paperwork from earlier in the day. A sigh escaped your lips as you leaned back in your chair and stretched. Your shoulders cracked and you let out a sigh of relief as the tension was released.
All of a sudden Shoto burst through your door. You jumped in your seat and put your hand over your chest. “Jeez Sho, you scared the crap out of me!” His mouth was pressed into a straight line and it wasn’t like him to look this angry, especially with you and especially when you didn’t know what was going on. “Is everything alright?” you asked with a raise of your brow.
“You didn’t think I’d find out, did you?” he gritted his teeth, trying not to yell.
“Find out about what?” you answer with genuine curiosity. There was nothing that came to your mind about what he could have found out about you. There were no secrets between you two and you racked your brain about what in the world he could have been talking about.
“Don’t act stupid, Y/N.”
You shake your head and put down your pen. “There’s nothing that I can think of that I’m keeping from you. Not even a surprise party.” you chuckled softly but his next words made it drop.
“You and Izuku. You really thought that you could keep your little affair a secret from me? With my best friend of all people. I can’t believe you would do this to me after everything we’ve gone though and everything I’ve done for you. I thought I could trust you. It’s disgusting-you disgust me. I feel like I don’t even know you anymore.”
Your eyes widen at the accusation. “Affair? Why are you saying all of these things? Where did they come from?”
“I don’t understand why you don’t just come clean! Stop acting like you don’t know what I'm talking about!”
“Except I don’t! I have no idea where these accusations are coming from!” you yelled back at him.
“You’re always so touchy with him and you’re the one who’s always inviting him over for dinner at our house! It just makes me wonder if he’s been there when I’m not home.” Shoto begins to walk over to you and you notice that he’s taking off his ring. “I’m done.”
But the slip up was when you noticed he said that you were always the one to be inviting him over for dinner when you knew for a fact that wasn’t the case. “Woah woah woah!” you stood up from your chair and grabbed his hand. “What are you doing?” you asked him with a shaky voice. “Sho. Who did you hear this from?”
“Why does it matter who I heard it from when there’s proof, pictures of you and him together!” he shouted and took his hand back from your grasp.
You knew that none of this was true but you couldn’t help but tear up at the fact that he believed it. “Show them to me.”
He got out his phone and went into his gallery. “There.” you looked down at the photo that was just a black screen.
“There’s nothing there. It’s black.” you glance back up at him. “So who did you hear this from again?”
“Riza, why do you care so much who told me?”
You closed your eyes and took a deep breath. “I’m gonna need you to wait here for me.” You walk out of your office and shut the door before he can say anything, making your way over to the front desk where the woman is sitting. “Riza?” you smile at her, but it’s not friendly.
Her quirk wasn’t really something that could be used in combat and she wasn’t the strongest so she chose to work as a receptionist at the hero agency. She was able to manipulate people’s memories and personality and make them think they saw something they didn’t, or make them forget something that had happened. “Yes...?” she glanced up at you to see the look on your face.
“You made a little bit of a mistake with your memory altering. I’m never the one to ask Deku to dinner, it’s always Shoto. So release it. Now.”
She was quiet for a moment before it seemed like she gained a little courage to talk back to you. “Why should I? He doesn’t even deserve someone like you.”
“Oh and so he deserves someone that tries to manipulate his marriage? Riza, release it before I make you. You’re a receptionist not a hero and there’s a reason for that.” She said nothing and looked away from you but you reached over the counter and took her face in your hand, forcing her to look you in the eyes. “I’m not asking again.”
There was a snap of her fingers and not even five seconds later, you heard your office door hit the wall as Shoto threw it open. “Y/N?” You let go of her and turned around to see Shoto’s face. He looked like he felt so guilty for his actions which you both knew now weren’t his. “I’m so sorry...” he spoke quietly. “I’m so sorry...” he repeated.
His gaze went from you, to Riza who has just gotten caught red handed. “I’ll...I think I’ll take my leave now...”
“Don’t bother coming back. You’re fired.” Shoto stood next to you as he watched her hang her head and gather her things before taking her things.
“Riza? Jealousy doesn’t look good on you. I suggest you don’t wear it again. Actually...Nothing does.” you give her a grin before she huffs and leaves through the front door, throwing it open in a fit.
You husband looks back down at you and his eyes are filled with regret for the things he said to you. “Come on.” you put your hand on his back and usher him to your office. He sits down and puts his face in his hands.
“I didn’t mean a word I said, you know that, right?”
Walking over to him you take his hands away from his face and cradle his cheeks in your palms. “Of course I do. I knew something was up as soon as soon as you accused me of cheating-and when you said I disgust you. You don’t talk to me like that, even when we argue.” you kissed his forehead and turned around to grab his ring that was lying on your desk. You smile gently at him. “Why don’t we put this back on?”

Bakugou picked up on your behavior really quickly. (he’s just attentive like that 👀)
He didn’t say much about it at first, just assuming it was something you always did. You were always open on giving a good hug every now and then to a friend who needed it.
But then he started to notice smaller things.
How you’d tense up when the person you were hugging patted or rubbed your back. Or how you’d freeze when someone touched your shoulder mid-conversation.
He began noticing things in your relationship with him.
If you were sitting together, you always got nervous about your hand being near his.
At first, he thought this was because of his quirk and his sweaty palms. It was the only time Bakugou felt 0.001% insecure about his quirk and sometimes clammy hands.
But then he noticed, you would often get shy when he mentioned kissing or cuddling.
So he decided to ask you about it.
It started off as just a normal conversation, you were talking to Deku about something when Bakugou intervened.
“Oi, (y/n), we need to talk.” Bakugou stated in his usual tone. You gave Deku a smile and walked off with Bakugou over by the stairs, alone and away from most everyone.
“Do you not like being seen with me or something? Are you embarrassed by me?” Bakugou stood against the wall, his arms folded over his chest.
“N-No? What makes you think that?” You answered, worried you’d said or done something that upset him.
“You never want to hold hands or do any stupid couple shit.” Bakugou looked at you, his ruby pupils staring you down.
“O-oh.” Was all you could muster to say.
“Oh?” Bakugou repeated back to you.
“I’m sorry. It’s not like I’m trying to avoid you or anything, it’s just...” You were searching for the right words to say.
You’d never been good with affection. Receiving it at least. It was easy to be there for your friends, not wanting them to experience what you had once gone through.
Seeing people change and switch up on you was hard, especially after knowing all the love, and affection they had given you was fake.
You didn’t believe the people you called your friends would do that to you now, but you still had problems with accepting their affection.
“I’m just not good with receiving affection.” You followed up. You had taken interest in the ground. Bakugou’s eyes widened.
“You’re not good with receiving affection?” Bakugou questioned, trying to grasp what you were saying.
“I had a really bad bunch of friends back in middle school, and now I just have a hard time believing any affection someone shows me is real.” You clenched your hands into fists and held back tears.
“Oh.” Bakugou went silent.
“I’m sorry I’m not good enough for you.” You began to walk off, letting the tears fall from your eyes.
Before you could get very far, Bakugou’s hand on your wrist stopped you. You froze. Bakugou let you go almost immediately.
“I never said you weren’t good enough for me so don’t even fucking think like that again.” Bakugou looked you dead in the eyes.
“I’m not like those assholes. N-No one in this stupid class is like them.” Bakugou looked away, having trouble saying that about his classmates. He knew they were stupid sometimes, but he wouldn’t say they were fake.
“I love you. And I mean every ounce of that stupid gooey lovey-dovey shit.” Bakugou looked back at you, pink dusting across his cheeks.
“I’ll try harder for you.” You said softly, wiping the tears that had fallen down your cheeks.
“We don’t have to rush into anything, just-” Bakugou paused.
“I just wanna be able to hold you.” Bakugou pouted, his cheeks burning a brighter red shade.
“Awe.” You said softly. You walked over to him and hesitated before giving him a hug.
“You can hug me back.” You said quietly, allowing him to wrap his arms around you. You tensed up, but relaxed, remembering his words.
Little by little you began adjusting to affection, starting with little things like touches and hugs before moving onto kissing and such.
Bakugou was proud of your improvements, and so were you.

If we’re being honest, you’d have to openly admit to struggling with affection to Todoroki.
Baby boy is a bit oblivious.
But he cares for you immensely and is 110% ready to help you in any which way you need.
You struggle with receiving affection and need to get out of a certain situation, Todoroki is there to save the day. (hehe he’s ur hero)
But on the sidelines, Todoroki is also helping you little by little, by allowing him to give you affection.
Whether it just be holding hands or laying with one another.
If it ever gets to be too much for you, he’ll stop what he’s doing and give you your space.
When Todoroki found out, he was angry. He wanted to give those people a piece of his mind. Because he knows first hand how shitty people can be in the emotional abandonment department.
i.e. thanks dad if i should even call you that you heat meister looking ass bitch. (i’m just saying this for the fic i love endeavor even if he looks like the heat meister.)
“I’m so sorry that happened to you.” Todoroki spoke softly. He hesitated before hovering his hand over yours.
“May I?” He asked. You nodded and allowed him to hold your hand in his. You didn’t mind his touch as much as you thought you would.
Todoroki was different. He was always so gentle with you, nothing compared to how your old friends treated you.
So it was easier to get used to his affection.
And little by little you got accustomed to your classmate's affection, Todoroki, of course, monitoring everyone.
There were still times when small actions made you unsure.
The person you struggled most with was, of course, Bakugou.
He was always loud, and he just seemed like he hated you.
Todoroki, being the good boyfriend he is, tried to talk to Bakugou.
Whether Bakugou received the information given was still unsure.
“Could you at least treat them with respect? They respect you it’s the least you could do.” Todoroki glared at Bakugou.
“They’re below me. You can piss off.”
“It wouldn’t kill you to be nice. You don’t know what they’ve been through.” Todoroki stood up for you. Bakugou went silent.
“Whatever. Get out of my way IcyHot.” Bakugou shoved past Todoroki.
Bakugou didn’t really talk to you much after that, only if he absolutely needed too.
Which meant he wasn’t really acting like much of an asshole, at least toward you.
He wouldn’t admit it, but what Todoroki said really struck a chord with him.
Todoroki was really good at understanding you. He knows what it’s like to not feel like affection is mutual. He understands being wary of other people.
That’s why the two of you work so well together, and why you feel so strongly for him.
He’s not bullshitting you, and neither of you have the heart to bullshit somebody else.
You may come across as blunt or rude, but you’re just honest. You’ve both been through the rounds, and no one deserves to be treated like garbage.
Todoroki stands up for you a lot, but he knows when and where it’s your place to say what you need to say.
Todoroki is a solid boyfriend, and is honestly just the sweetest. He’s understanding, and open to learning. And you both help each other grow.
You’re the perfect pair.

Izuku is honestly so sweet.
And given the right circumstances, he’s super affectionate. But it’s his shyness that changes that.
When he first liked you, he struggled big-time admitting to it. He was always nervous around you.
But when you got into your relationship, he was much more affectionate and confident.
You had to tell him you were uncomfortable.
Midoriya felt super bad. He felt overbearing, and pushy, as well as clingy. But then he saw your reasoning behind being so closed off to receiving affection. He felt upset.
“It’s not your fault, Izu. It’s just a lot to process at the moment.” You spoke softly, resting your hand on his.
Midoriya went to move his hand, worried that you were uncomfortable. But you stopped him.
“I trust you. I know you wouldn’t hurt me.” You smiled. Trusting Midoriya was, in a good way, easy. He wouldn’t deliberately hurt you. You weren’t sure if he could.
Midoriya was always thinking for others, and rarely thought for himself.
That’s one of the main reasons why you let him in so quickly. He needed you. He’d been touch starved himself.
So letting each other in slowly was nice. You were both new to so much, and it was nice to be going at the same pace with someone, especially in a romantic setting.
Things started off slow, holding hands in private, to holding hands in public, and hugging often.
Then when things got easier for you, allowing your friends and classmates in, you noticed how kind and true these people were.
Midoriya helped a lot with that as well.
Being a part of his friend group was a major help. They were all so kind to you, and they all helped you get comfortable as best they could.
Whether it be Iida helping you study one afternoon, or Uraraka and you spending some time together hanging out.
Midoriya also understood when you got uncomfortable around Bakugou. Midoriya struggled with his childhood friend too, so it was something you got over together.
Eventually, the two of you understood that it was just in his nature to be a little overbearing and loud. Bakugou was training to be a hero, after all, you knew he wouldn’t hurt you, unless you were sparring in which he expected you to give it your all against him.
But you didn’t expect Bakugou to be affectionate towards you, so you just tried to be as friendly as you could toward him.
And eventually, you and Midoriya were inseparable. You were often cuddling with him when you got the chance too. But with being close with one another, you also developed boundaries, and knew if it was too much to handle at times, you had to tell him.
Midoriya was open, and always there when you needed him, if you needed him for anything.
And if Bakugou gets too rowdy with you, you better believe Midoriya is standing up for you and using a little more than 8% to whoop his ass.
