☢ Are there any ships that you would like to write for one day? Any that you wouldn't?

Honestly, anything goes! I never discount anyone out of a ship with Echo. Because she's an original character, I take every single new character she meets as a fresh slate so I treat every character as 'new', canon or original like.

I never like putting a connection in a box of 'can never ship' because I enjoy characters telling the story for me. Chemistry is crucial to a ship imo, both in ic and ooc, and I've had situations where there is a new reply and Echo goes '...oh shit?' and I go 'oh no.' SLKDJFKLSDF I love enemies to lovers, childhood friends, miscommunications, exes, 'we shouldn't but here we are', 'we are cut from the same cloth', 'i can fix her - no i can make her worse', slow burns, etc.

the tl;dr of all of that is 'i'd like to write the ship i have yet to discover for her, and there are no limits to what could be a ship in the future'

Ahhh... was so long ago that I don't even remember lol. But the last movie I watched was our national movie a comedy actually.

To your other question, how do I show I care. Well, that's easy I usually tag them on pictures, poetry, quotes, nature -- that tells about our muses that reminds me of them. In that way, I show how much their RP means to me.

As for friendship if we talk ooc, I share my ideas talk about our muses, about possible plots, I talk a lot they don't know what to do with me trust me. xD we talk also about regular stuff like books/music/movies/food/weather/ ets. Just simple human conversation

♥ What's the WORST thing that has happened to you rp wise?

Getting to know someone, who shall not be named, blocked me and my friends and then they make a post accusing us for numerous things that I didn’t even know we did, and then threatened all their mutuals that if they interacted with us they’d be blocked 😃 

It’s all because of a ship they didn’t like. It was also my second day on that blog and I’ve legit have no idea what’s going on. It originated from this other mutual who is also shipping that ship and generally follows everyone, so when people saw that ship they started the whole witch hunt. I was sleeping at that time and when I woke up the dash turned to hell. Had to ask my friend what’s going on and turned out it was because of that ship (IM me for details!)

Apparently the same person also made an excel with all our urls + other people we don’t know and shared it around so everyone can block us. I only found out about that excel (and the whole story) through another mutual only like 6 months later and by that time I don’t care much anymore. You can call me whatever <inserts problematic label> and I’d say OK, you are absolutely right, have a nice day! 

✧ Do you agree with reblog karma or is it forced interaction?

I don’t mind not practicing reblog karma as long as someone isn’t like, rbing 10 posts off my blog at once. But that’s different from feeling like you’re outright being used as a resource blog, which in case I would just sb. So far no one has rb anything much from me though, but that might be because I don’t rb much either 🙈 It also depends on the meme... When it’s just a headcanon/munday/opinion meme then there’s no reason not to send any. If it’s IC memes then it’s understandable that you might not find one of the options that is fitting for your muse and theirs, so its ok not to send any.

⚜ How many people do you not like?

A lot. 😭 And since I hold grudges I tend to remember them forever. I usually just avoid them though. If they’ve done something toxic or evil to other people then I’ll most likely have them blocked. But if I don’t like them for petty reasons that’s just a personal thing, I don’t block them, I simply don’t interact with them.

☀ What's your rp pet peeve?

I’m running out of pet peeves that I’m willing to put on the dash 😂 Okay this only happened to me twice here, but I find it annoying when you put so much of effort into writing a long reply and your rp partner does not appreciate it. It makes me not want to write longer replies anymore and just half-assed something until we’ve established something more solid so we can be sure both sides are invested.

When you’ve been mutuals for a long time and there’s no signs of interest or interaction. I understand that people can be busy but neither of us are mind readers. An occasional like on posts or an ask or an ooc post to show that interest is still present is nice sometimes.

☢ What fads/trends are you so over?

The karma is a b1tch trend. I feel like this typically occurs with villain muses. Your muse did something bad in canon so you’re supposed to feel guilty to mine now and feel sorry and has to immediately redeem yourself! I think that’s not fair in rp, especially when we have plotted nothing, my muse hasn’t done anything to yours yet but your muse is demanding retribution without giving mine a chance or, like, ask the mun for an opinion?

asjkdhas A lot of things. I feel like I can list them down forever. I don’t consider it losing my chill, but I can get carried away with topics I have a lot of opinions on, since I hardly write anything too personal on tumblr and/or anywhere else, so that’s not losing my chill but sometimes I forget that I’m talking to someone and keeps going on and on. I should fix that about myself 😭

A good one is always anon haters. How pathetically gutless do you have to be to send that stuff? It’s even lower than a schoolyard bully, because at least the bully has the nerve to show their face.

A second would be people who deliberately try to sabotage others in order to get what they want. Be it bullying (insults and aggression to make RP so miserable for the target that they leave), backstabbing (trying to convince people to drop the target (and surprise, ship with the backstabber instead! What a shock!)), manipulation (whining and guilt-tripping, IC or OOC, or whining to the target themselves in the hope they’ll back off and leave the manipulator a free pass).

And third, people who cannot fucking well take no for an answer!

Themes where I can’t find the links (or even know if they exist), colour schemes that hurt the eyes, running people out of fandoms and sending death threats over fictional ships.

I had a partner years ago who would didn't have a very good sense of boundaries when it came to what was ic and what was ooc and what was appropriate to do ic because of some ooc drama or whatever and it ended up making everyone else so uncomfortable. Like, the mun would get mad at someone ooc and take it out on everyone else's characters and it got old fast.

It's a stupid one and I don't actually care if other people do it, but it drives me absolutely insane when there's like, one character using live action icons and the other is using drawn or animated ones, which is why Anna has 3 separate fcs.

Anything trying to be "aesthetic" because the popular aesthetic seems to be too small to read on bright colors with too much contrast and the formatting gets all fucked up when you look at it on mobile. This applies to replies, blog themes, google docs, carrds, icons, just everything.

A lot of it hasn’t. I might be a bit jaded on this thanks to early experiences, but a lot of the ‘bad’ that goes on these days isn’t so much different as increased - antis, gatekeepers and other assorted bullies have always been around, they’ve just gotten more overt and aggressive. The regular RP bad behaviour like ship forcing, driving ‘rivals’ out, god-modding, pestering people for replies, throwing fits as soon as you don’t get your own way … they’ve always been here, they’ve just had different faces.

❥ Has someone ever ruined an FC or character for you?

Oh totally yes. There are faces I flinch to look at and characters I won’t RP with thanks to the association with past RPers. Even if I can look past the OOC behaviour (that had nothing to do with any other mun playing that character or using that FC and therefore shouldn’t apply to them), I don’t think I can convince Thera to change her opinion on the characters themselves. The OOC behaviour bled into the muse interactions, and it’d take a major reset of herIC backstoryto get her past what happened.

♦ What was a mildly annoying thing that has happened to you rp wise?

There’s a bunch of stuff that could apply here, but most of them boil down to ‘they haven’t read my rules’. Or haven’t understood the rules, or just think it doesn’t apply to them. I had a rant on the subject not long ago to explain why it’s annoying for me, but yeah. I can understand the occasional mistake, but plain old ignore is another matter.

♥ What’s the WORST thing that has happened to you rp wise?

I gotta say, they all seem like the worst when they’re happening, don’t they? But otherwise, I don’t really know. I mean, I suppose the early stuff was ‘worst’ because I was new, getting back into RP after years away, and a lot less confident in myself than I am now. I was also pretty damn naive and blamed myself/gave people benefit of the doubt when I really shouldn’t have. (Seems having been bullied IRL makes you susceptible to it online, who knew?!)

Conversely, that baptism of fire was a learning curve about the kinds of bullshit that inhabits Tumblr RP, and primed me up to recognise that shit when it came up again later. Seeing it so blatantly early on, I feel was better off than suddenly getting it dropped on me later. It was also a really good way to figure out who my friends really were.

That said, I’ve been bullied, harassed, lied about, pushed aside, victim blamed (in which I was the victim), projected on, raged at, guilt-tripped, walked on, stalked, copied, had people go around blocks to re-insert themselves in my business, been ship-forced, publicly accused of things I didn’t do, dogpiled, and after all of this accused of paranoia … come to think of it, maybe the only thing I seem to have missed out on is getting anon hate. I’ve had only two or three malicious anons in 5+ years. Is that some sort of record?

But yeah - when I say I’m ‘crusty and jaded’, I totally mean I am crusty and jaded. Nothing really leaps out at me as ‘the worst’ anymore, because none of them are important enough to wear that label.
