i have kind of been playing with a story in my head where when ven'ovi leaves the ascendancy in a big tizzy he ends up kind of marooned on batuu and emet is the person who finds and helps him. and EMET is like, a disgraced formerly filthy rich coruscanti socialite who is here because he was and remains up to his eyeballs in crime. and he hates everything and he's really tsun about it. and they have some kind of stupid scheme someday that involves the cruise ship slash failed real life hotel storyline bc i am so inordinately enchanted by it. i wish i too could have been fleeced to death at the star wars hotel. i think i mostly want to go because i know its gone forever now. so it must live on through me....and jenny nicholson ruthless four hour takedown video

She's not a tsun, just nearly incapable of expressing her feelings and emotions, esp in a romantic context because of traumatic experiences and a bad family situation. Eventually she's able to express herself better thru actions and heartfelt letters and gifts, mostly handmade by her.

She and Kaeya had to be in a near death experience to finally say "I love you"😩 I'm still trying to figure out exactly how the main story if you can call it that would go between them. Like how they'd get together and when exactly. For that, I'm trying to finish some quests and progress in the game a lil bit more do I have a better picture of the world! Everything else has been figured out huhu. My girlie Vika is newly 18 when she wakes up and by the time she and Kaeya have realized and come to terms with their feelings she's 19 bc I'm a sucker for age differences. She's certainly got a preference to men so far but she doesn't really care to look into it too much yet and she's not that big on sexy times unless she really knows her partner and trusts them enough. Her bday is also my bday because her family are all characters very special to me so it's 31/10!

Don't rush yourself though! My characters speak to me on their own and guide me so I simply wait for them to figure it out if I can't! It will come to you when the time is right! And don't be scared to experiment, nothing you make HAS to be set in stone and not be subject to change! It's all yours to do with as you please!

CLAMPS for the fandom

Favorite character:

Mmmm. I don’t think I have one I love terribly more than others but I guess stand outs are Sakura Kinomoto and Yuko Ichihara. Sakura because I was her age when I first found the series and related to her a lot as a clumsy, not the best but not the worst sort of girl. As for Yuko, well, she’s funny, powerful, and damn that fashion sense. 

Least Favorite character:

Probably a tie between Akira’s mothers and Seishirou. The former because the boy is fucking nine, you bitches, what the fuck are you doing having him steal shit just because you think it’s pretty. A five-year-old is better at taking care of him and worst part is that I am not exaggerating. As for Seishirou...mmm, I guess I more just didn’t like this drop of some persona he had. I mean it was a persona but like I feel he lost so much personality to just be ‘I’m a stone-cold murderer and I feel nothing inside.’

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon):

KuroFai - Look, they went through a lot of each other’s bullshit and I am here for it. Also there’s something about Kurogane being able to see through Fai’s fake smiles and that it’s something that paralleled his father telling when his mother did the same. I got into an argument over this ship. Like Kurogane made some sacrifices you don’t make lightly for someone that you claim you dislike. 

Touya/Yukito - This has such a nostalgic place in my heart. Like this was my first feelings for people of the same sex being together as like a young child. And like it felt right even if English dub very much tried to make it feel like there’s something wrong. Look those two being caring and loving towards each other. Would you give up your powers for your SO? Would you??? (there’s a running theme with CLAMP faves y’all)

SubKam - Even though I know CLAMP says they see them as ‘sisters’ but like, in the conotext of X for me? They were probably like the only good personal relationship that either has had. And I think it also is somewhat scary to Subaru to see someone going down the same path he has and knows on some level who he is isn’t the best. And Kamui’s love for everyone is just a thing for me but I think it was just that one-on-one he’s had with Subaru that gets me.......and then burns me when in another of CLAMP’s series, they’re twin vampires. Why do you do this CLAMP?

Kakei/Saiga - Look. Look. The whole angel/devil dynamic has been done before but such a teasing and loving relationship is like the best. And they are looking out for this baby ship trying to find it’s footing. They are the parents and I love the ship that are also the parents for some other characters. Also the demon is great at domestic matters while still smoking and looking like menace. I love it. 

Sakura/Syaoran - But which one am I referring to? Haaaaaaa...I am referring to Cardcaptor Sakura version of this pair. It’s just so cute and you spend so much time (in the anime) watching their relationship change from rivals to one-sided crushing to ‘oh I think I love them.’ Strong nostalgia with it and is why I refuse to do Clear Card as I fear how much that’ll affect my feelings on it. 

Character I find most attractive:

Yue. Oh god he’s so pretty. I constantly forget but then like out of nowhere remember how pretty he is. Also Yuko. She’s just so beautiful in her enigmatic nature. 

Character I would marry:

Probably Kurogane. Look, for all his tsun, he does care and if not taken by his husband, 10/10 would go for. 

Character I would be best friends with:

Tomoyo because I accept being a side character but by no means does that mean that shenanigans can’t happen while the heroes are doing their thing. She’s energetic and considerate and one to always have the camera rolling. I also can level with ‘my happiness is your happiness’ she holds. 

a random thought:

CLAMP doesn’t seem to be afraid of trying to go into interesting and even uncomfortable lines of love. And I kind of applaud it because love is such a broad thing to define and while we try to boil it down often...love isn’t black and white and it can get very murky. It can get weird. It can border and sometimes cross ‘this feels wrong’ but I really do like in some of the works or ships that ‘feelings are complicated.’ 

An unpopular opinion:

CLAMP can’t end a series to save their lives. Like everything about any series is fine except the ending. I haven’t had an ending I’ve particularly liked except Cardcaptor Sakura but I find it hard to mess up a ‘shojo romance.’ 

My Canon OTP:

Sakura/Syaoran I guess is the only one that’s been like explicitly said?

My Non-canon OTP:

It’s hard since so many are like canon in everything except like a blantant ‘oh yeah I’m with this person.’ So KuroFai.

Most Badass Character:

Clone!Syaoran. There’s something kind of cool about a dogged deteremination.

Most Epic Villain:

Uuuuuhhhhhh, sorry, I don’t think there’s much of a ‘villain’ to most of their series. Maybe monkey paw? Monkey Paw. That fucker was kind of terrifying. 

Pairing I am not a fan of:

Phew, the burning I’ll experience buuuuuuttttt SubSei. But hear me out! I do think it’s an interesting dynamic. I can’t quite place my feelings on as I don’t outright hate it but I also don’t love it. For the same reasons. I think it does do well with the whole falling in love with your target thing in a really interesting way. Like catching feelings doesn’t necessarily stop you from being a cold-blooded murderer and sometimes you don’t stop. And while I know and understand that this is a different land with different rules and the like....I am still somewhat squicked by how the age thing plays here. Like in the context of X or even Tokyo Babylon...I was okay with it. But the backstory part was a hard brake on that. 

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another):

Hinoto. Just. Where? Where did that fucked up personality come from? I feel like there was too small of a window for this to show up. It started feeling like a plot device to get people arranged neatly. It wasn’t a bad thing to have another personality show up...I just wish it had been introduced a bit longer and run her cards in the background before basically the end. 

Favourite Friendship:

Kamui & Yuzuriha or Keiichi - The world may be ending but hey you wanna go get some food? Just like the simplicity of it I guess is really nice. Especially since Yuzuriha got Kamui back before he got curbstomped into being a good boy. And then there’s Keiichi. He may be a minor character but he’s shown so much concern and kindness to Kamui when his life is literally going to shit. And this is while dealing with his own strife that the goddamn apocalypse that no one knows about is going on!

Character I most identify with:

Sakura from CCS as I said above. She was like me when I was younger.

Character I wish I could be:

Haha....no one. Because CLAMP are sadists and everyone is sad in some way, shape or form.

Why does cc kisses lelouch? Is it for direct contact? Like in R2, she kissed him to return his memories. In R1, she kissed him while inside Gawain. What was that for? Overwhelmed by emotion? Or was that to preserve his memories?

TV Version: The first kiss in Gawain is never brought up in the TV series. If the 2nd kiss was to unseal his memories, then logically, yes, the 1st kiss was to save them.

Recap Movies: In the 2nd recap movie, they show you the kiss in Gawain, but never show you the part where Lelouch returns to being Zero in Babel Tower. In a new scene, CC tells him, “Dude, be careful. Saving your memories wasn’t easy.” and Lelouch goes, “Look, I wouldn’t want some woman who doesn’t even tell me that the Emperor has a Geass kissing me every time anyway.” So, yeah, the recap movies confirm what the kiss was for.

Unfortunately, they immediately after turn this into an “uwu moe blob uguu tee hee xd perfect tsun waifu” CC scene where she turns her nose up and acts coy and tsuntsun about him never specifically asking her if the Emperor had a Geass or not. 🙄

(1) Hi Murfeelee! Sorry to bother you, but I'm having a bit of an issue with one of your older CC, specifically the Tsun Lioncloth from the Barbarian set. Whenever one of my sims changes into it, the game will gradually lag out and crash within about 5 minutes. I've done the 50/50 test, and eliminated all other possibilities. The error log gives the following: type: ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x000003fcaddress: 0x005c75e7 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game

Hi! My apologies for all the trouble. Thanks so much for telling me – in all the 4 years the Tsun Loincloth’s been out this is the first time I’m hearing anything about if from anyone. I’m disturbed, cuz that’s part of one of my more popular sets.

The crashing could be for 3 reasons I can think of:

- clear your cache files (the CASPartCompositor.package & SimCompositorCache.package )

- the CC’s conflicting with something else (run it through Delphy’s Dashboard to see if any conflicts shows up)

- the CC might be too high poly, or just a glitchy piece of crap

But honestly, I’d uninstall & delete the Tsun Loincloth if it keeps crashing your game. Better to be safe than sorry.

Taishirou Fic Notes: REPEAT?_

(For Chapters/Parts 1+2) Under the cut!... (... There’ll be spoilers for the entirety of the fic) (This is a preliminary draft/outline until I can make it neater ? looking yeah pfft) (Also see the original fic outline for more earlier elaboration)

-- Chapters 1+2 --

- These chapters are somewhat partly self explanatory; the ‘prologue’ of sorts that set everything up. I think they were the third/fourth or so pieces that I wrote / outlined for this thing? (After the couple of chapters towards the very end...) - This entire idea spawned when I was thinking of Taishiro AU ideas [including previous ones I’ve had] and basically going ‘what’s a Koushiro AU I hadn’t thought of yet??’ - Somehow my mind went ‘ARCHAEOLOGIST ..... KOUSHIRO’ ??? ‘PLUS TIMELOOPS / KAGEDAZE TAISHIRO AU’ ??? PLUS ‘COLLEGE AU’ ???? - Essentially I was thinking of careers Koushiro could have in the real world that would a) be suitable for him b) satisfy his thirst for Knowledge [while also relating to how Knowledge is used in the timeloops] c) would take him a while to complete, but be very worthwile to him in the end d) would have some mystery / intrigue involved, especially when connecting to the Digital World e) would keep him close to Taichi [because he relates tech with it, and is involved in higher education / etc., eventually it could lead to him still becoming a researcher like in the canon epilogue in the end, or in other spinoff AU thoughts... also Taichi having a law-related career that keeps him close to Koushiro] ... etc. etc. - then my mind went ‘OH THAT’S A GOOD IDEA I CAN ALSO RELATE IT TO ‘THAT THING’ YEAH’ (i.e. THE WELL the well where HE FINDS HIS CREST) - however in the back of my mind I was probably also thinking of a super-cute old Cardcaptor Sakura series 1 episode / moment in which then still mostly newly introduced “rival” to Sakura, Syaoran Li, watches Fujitaka Kinomoto’s archaeology presentation. Syaoran grows more and more interested the point he’s internally [and externally, but ‘hiding’ it (well ? from Fujitaka, badly otherwise)] cheering over it when Fujitaka offers to show him more archaeology related things in the future - only to immediately find out next Fujitaka is Sakura Kinomoto’s father [hahaaaa]. Of course Syaoran x Sakura becomes the canon couple in the end anyhow [hahaaaaa. sorry Syaoran ilu but you were pretty amusing back then and also v. tsun in that ‘fail’ kind of way] (some of his early tsun expressions kinda remind me of Adventure Taichi too??) (...Our War Game Taichi even kind of ??) - So my mind might have subconsciously been ‘combining’ all those things (along with an image in my head of photographer Koushiro from Tri studying things in the Digital World) and basically turning that implied Syaoran/Sakura + Archaeology things [if indirectly] into Taishiro + Archaeology AU yes - (also I was following CCS’s new Clear Card Arc at the time in both manga form first and then anime form, so ... yes it was at the back of my mind) - The first lines that basically spurred on this AU were the opening rambles / summary but more notably what immediately came to mind was Koushiro’s “Oh, I’M adopted.” - line, in response to Taichi’s dumb question literally HE WROTE HIMSELF (Koushiro - unfortunately - never has a scene in-show where he actually talks about it with the other Chosen, not even in an 02 era cd drama where he was literally visiting his biological parents’ graves and right after on the way home runs into the other Adventure Chosen sans Taichi and Yamato - and he STILL doesn’t even bring his biological parents up at all, not even that he was just visiting them like ‘oh, I was just on my way back from...’ - so essentially this is him saying it right off the bat and startling Taichi indirectly with it while he’s at it.) - It also prevents having to take forever to set that particular reveal up ... while at the same time taking forever to set that reveal up in Adventure universe and with more impact otherwise hahaaa. (CRY) - So, these two chapters are the setup. - You may notice there’s a feeling of ‘something’s definitely not quite right here’ or ‘something’s up’ all through these parts, the writing style (I basically kind of... mentally storyboard, then translate that into an outline, then storyboard again, then attempt to write anything etc. etc.), (but also the kind of ‘limited’ writing style, too) and basically the entire fic. That’s the timeloops effect lingering in the background, impacting events / feelings / actions, etc. Even the slightest things like Koushiro’s expressions as he regards Taichi, the tiniest movements he makes, or Taichi’s mind running a little (A LOT) more wildly than usual. - When Taichi first hears Koushiro’s ‘(smooth) voice drifting through the open door’, that’s basically the timeloops effect slamming into him right from the get-go. His mind is running wildly subconsciously too like ‘WHAT? WHAT?? WHAT???’ because he’s so confused / startled / scared / basically majorly freaked out to the point of a feeling of dread / horror etc. l-lolll poor Taichi I’M SORRY I love you really (this is also the KageDaze inspired effect because poor Hibiya there, too, [the boy] is basically this through most of the song) [specific dialogue notes] -  ‘ok, he's not really a "kid", he's a fellow adult, but Taichi's mind seems to insist on calling him that, for some reason....’ and all of the ‘his age’ bits etc. - Taichi’s mind is subconsciously relating Koushiro’s actual age to him (‘he’s younger than you think!!! you KNEW HIM IN SCHOOL!!! BEFORE!!!’) except he’s not fully realizing, of course. - short-cut spiky red hair and pure black eyes ('why are you staring so intently at his eyes, idiot!!') Again, timeloops effect slamming. Taichi’s recognizing Koushiro’s features right away and what stands out the most are his hair [dark red] and his eyes [somehow pure black (...lol fandom injoke?)]. This also relates in ch. 4, “Bridge” - when young Taichi notices Koushiro’s red hair ‘stands out the most’ in the light, and Koushiro’s (eyes are) staring right at him (because that young Koushiro’s becoming aware of the loops and freaked out / feeling dread crashing into him, himself). (also other similar parts of the fic) This also relates to novels Koushiro knowing he ‘stands out like a sore thumb’ in class (and how that line relates later with the Izumis / his adoption, as well.) - social sciences? Psychology? Health in general? Science itself? ARCHAEOLOGY??! Basically Koushiro is a freaking genuis [timeloops.... effect] [but also natural hhhh-ha] and subconsciously-or-not relating his career to as many ‘Knowledge’-gathering fields as possible, yeah. SLOW DOWN KOUSHIRO - and he's talking so animatedly and precisely and smartly because again, Child of Knowledge / timeloops. (He’d probably be an amazing professional teacher too negl) (and also how do both his seiyuu/voice actors sound so good HOW). Ok but for real, this is also simultaneously Koushiro’s ‘professional mode’ and / or his ‘mask’ so to speak. He’s enjoying it too, mostly, but... at the same time, it’s like going through the motions.... Koushiro ;A;/ - Taichi keeps staring at him, how is he so... pretty - ('wait what?!') ('but he kind of is, in that way where he has this glow about him-') Timeloops effect reminding him yes, Taichi, you are definitely attracted to Koushiro Izumi (maybe a bit too much) Koushiro’s ‘glow’ is basically him becoming animated / excited whenever he talks about Knowledge-related topics he’s particularly interested in! (But also kind of like... his inner... glow ehehhh....) - The presenter (Izumi?) turns around and stares at him directly, sharply, (kindly?) with those black eyes and says semi-brightly despite the situation he's in, in front of this room full of dumb college kids like Taichi himself - "Oh, I'M adopted." Dun dun dunnnn (hey, Taichi, did you REALLY get Koushiro’s last name/name or-) (...he didn’t) Now Koushiro’s directly focusing his attentions on Taichi, subconsciously recognizing him while he’s at it. He’s staring ‘kindly’ because of the warm feelings his subconscious / past self has towards Taichi; while also out of genuine kindness / intrigue from this universes’ Koushiro himself. Koushiro’s definitely feeling that ‘pull’ but at the same time warning bells are going off like crazy in his head too, and maybe subconsciously freaking him out too (although he’s a little more logical about it than Taichi, maybe... ...? or trying to not panic before he finishes this thing anyway) - After the presentation is over, the kid is gathering up his things outside the room, and fixing his slightly moved tie all neatly, and Taichi approaches him awkwardly from behind. THE TRUE MEETING and basically they’re both subconsciously knowing they were going to have to talk here but .... - "Izumi" turns to stare at him, more intently, now. "It's all right. ...?" (He was a little confused as to why this cool looking kid [??] bothered apologizing to him for that, but he accepts it...) Koushiro’s staring intently because he’s so hyper-focused subconsciously, but also because he likes giving his full attention where it matters in general, too. Also ‘cool looking kid’ is Taichi’s mind thinking maybe that’s how Koushiro might see him, basically. (TAICHI PLS....) (ok but he also added the ‘??’ because he realizes... yeah TAICHI PLS) (Koushiro was a bit surprised this boy actually did think to apologize, but....) - Koushiro smiles slightly. Actually smiles. KOUSHIRO’S SMILES ARE VERY IMPORTANT IN THIS FIC OK Koushiro smiles so impassioned-ly at the start of everything (especially in this verse, where he rarely gets the chance to smile AT ALL it doesn’t help that this Koushiro didn’t go to the Digital World, didn’t make any close friends, DIDN’T MEET TENTOMON OR TAICHI and etc....) - so that when this Koushiro smiles genuinely, it’s SUPER IMPORTANT, OK - "Are you interested? I'm afraid the next dig is already scheduled very soon, but..." "Wait, you're leaving, soon-?!" ('Shut up, you idiot!!') Koushiro is looking at him oddly now - Taichi’s mind is going even more wild with the warning bells and basically yelling ‘SOMETHING’S DEFINITELY WRONG HERE DON’T LET HIM GO IF YOU LET HIM GO HE’S GOING TO UP AND LEAVE AND YOU’LL NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN !!!!!’ (Also his mind running wild kind of parallels Ep 21′s inspirations too??) (don’t forget Taichi hasn’t had a lot of his ‘character development’ here as well) Koushiro’s looking at him oddly because he’s having a similar feeling but trying to figure out what the heck is up with this and ... this boy... ? - Koushiro is about ready to have to leave again, and Taichi thinks as fast as he can. Taichi’s not ... as known for his thinking deeply in canon when he’s younger (lol) (well, um, pre...? SkullGreymon ? anyhow maybe w-wah) and considering WARNING BELLS he’s basically thinking of the ‘last resort’ type thing he can say / ask / (yell?) / etc. (or - BAM, TIMELINE OVER BAD END). - "W-Wait, which area are you in-?" Koushiro turns with a raised eyebrow and another slight smile. Koushiro’s raising his eyebrow / smiling because he’s basically internally thinking ‘...This one, hmm ..... ‘ - He lives in fucking Odaiba. Literally a block away from Taichi. ('SHIIIIIIIIIIT') ('TAICHI YOU ARE AN IDIOT') ... oh. (yeah) (TIMELOOOOOOPS EFFEEEEEECT) (TAICHI YOU ARE AN IDIOT) -- Chapter 2 -- (kind of) - He doesn't know how it happens, but in some other universe somewhere, he probably ends up not walking Koushiro home and regretting it for the rest of his life when Koushiro just ups and leaves on an archaeology dig somewhere and Taichi never sees him again - ('Seriously, stop thinking!!') So yeah, that part about ‘YOU’LL NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN’ ?? [Taichi(+Koushiro) avoided the BAD END ?? ?] [to be continued]

BNHA semi romantic/platonic bkdk Steelheart AU time!

Basically if you haven’t read Steelheart by Brandon Sanderson it’s set in a semi-post-apocalyptic world where one day a giant firey star (Calamity) appeared in the sky and gave a few people superpowers. These people, now called Epics, got drunk on their powers to the point of extreme arrogance. They would start fights with other Epics for the right to rule cities and kill humans if it suited their whims bc they thought normal humans were underneath them. Epics are treated with extreme reverence and terror bc of the massive powers they wield.

Epics can be classified into Lesser and High Epics, the difference being High Epics have an additional superpower (called prime invincibility) that make them almost impossible to kill eg Invincibility (impenetrable skin), Self-Reincarnation, Regeneration, Precognition. Epics can have more than one superpower.

However Epics are possible to kill when you target their sole weakness (fear), usually stemming from past trauma eg drowning to death bc past trauma of drowning in a lake etc etc.

>> Main plot of the trilogy is how this dude joins the Resistance (called Reckoners) to kill Epics and save humanity and maybe find the truth about humanity along the way.

Izuku takes p much the same role bc like David instead of a hero otaku he’s a Epic otaku

His mother was killed by an Epic but he still believes in the inner goodness of Epics (for a certain number of reasons), but agrees that most Epics are doing it wrong and should be killed to save innocent people who are suffering

Yeah he tells everyone his intensive research into Epics is p much a hobby bc when he was young he really wanted to be an Epic to save people and that’s why he started keeping notes and it’s just a habit now

Anyway the story starts with him tracking down a High Epic to track down the Resistance bc he wants to join them, and there he meets Bakugou engaging in a fight w said High Epic which Izuku theorizes to be the Resistance’s next target

‘KACCHAN????!!??’

Izuku pops up out of nowhere and assists Bkg, they kill the High Epic and return to base where Izuku convinces them with sparkly eyes that can he join them?? Everyone is suspicious but then Bkg brings up Izuku’s nerd notes and grudgingly (very grudgingly) says that they would help a lot. Everyone immediately accepts Izuku into the fold.

Why does Bkg know about Izuku’s nerd notes? Izuku comments that he didn’t think Kacchan would remember, and reveals to everyone that they were childhood friends/classmates all the way to high school, when the Calamity happened and Bkg disappeared into the void

Anyway Bkg is furious at Izuku, w all the inferiority complexes and trauma being there, bla bla bla you know the drill all the edgy childhood ‘can you stand’ stuff happened in the past

But there’s a good reason why Bkg keeps Izuku at an arm’s length, trust me

Anyway the night Izuku is initiated into the Resistance he bumps into Bkg in the corridor and basically Bkg drags him into somewhere isolated and threatens him, saying if Izuku ever revealed his secret Bkg would kill him

Bc Bkg is an Epic

And Izuku knew this bc he was there in class when Bkg manifested his Epic explosion powers and burnt down his home, killing parents in the process. He may or may not have also burned down his high school and killed his classmates and tons of students, leaving Izuku as the sole survivor

Bkg’s powers: Explosion, superhuman reflexes (though he keeps telling everyone that he was born talented like that bc Bkg FLEXES). Technically his powers classify him as a Lesser bc he doesn’t have prime invincibility (or so he says) but the multi-usage of his one (1) epic power kinda make him one. He indirectly gains flight (explosions…), mini bursts lasers (useful for lockpicking, or so he says), and other useful stuff. Bkg is Bkg, basically.

But like in this AU Bkg hates his powers for good reason too (being a bipolar mass murderer fucking sucks), and pretty much live in denial that they exist. Uses mainly guns and cc gun kata, but can handle sniper rifles. Has a soft spot for machine guns but hates using explosives and is queasy when Ashido tries to get him a rocket launcher (ROCKET LAUNCHER!!!!). Funnily enough he is voted by everyone to be Person Least Likely To Be An Epic In Disguise bc though he has the personality of an Epic (extreme hubris), they theorise he would long have acted on his impulse to kill everyone (extreme compulsion to boast reason for said hubris), but he hasn’t, so he can’t be an Epic

Todoroki’s conspiracy theory is that he’s an Epic’s lovechild explaining his intense hatred for Epics and revulsion for being compared to having the personality of one

Anyway they plot to kill the Big Boss of the city! Which will be *spins wheel* Mirio (Epic name Lemillion)(bc you know. he’s killed millions of people) with *throws dart* Dabi and Toga (interns from another city of Epics ruled by AFO/Shiggy), Tokoyami, Asui, and Iida as subordinate Epics

Amajiki, Nejire and Nighteye were killed by Mirio’s hands in this AU bc extreme hubris :))) Also Mirio has the history of killing Overhaul, the previous ruler of the city

Mirio has the power of permeability, super reflexes and dexterity, and teleportation (the gist of it is that he was OP just like he was in the original world)(Overhaul was right in nerfing Mirio he is too strong)

Izuku knows Mirio and Nighteye but keeps that a secret, but he does share w everyone his theory that after studying his fight w Overhaul he thinks Mirio’s weakness is indirect attacks (when he shielded a little girl from a bullet he bled from it). Izuku knows this bc he saw Mirio in the aftermath, but he doesn’t tell anyone that and says he got that from studying old camera footage that Mirio destroyed a few days after the fight bc he got corrupted and took over the city

The plot is p much them plotting to assassinate Mirio and his henchman (luring him out? infiltration? both??) and saving the city in the process

There is of course arguments against this saying the city would collapse w/o the protection of the super powerful High Epic Mirio but they agree it’s for the best that he dies (insert recent incident of unstable Mirio destroy stuff)

Ppl in the Resistance: Aizawa (leader of branch Resistance in current city), Yaoyorozu (second in command, in charge of making plans and intel), Todoroki (ops guy? normal dude), Uraraka (sniper), Kirishima (support w Bkg), Kaminari (mechanic and support) and Ashido (in charge of weapons stocking and uncertified medic whose solution to everything is duct tape and staples)

Endeavour is a morally grey High Epic ruling another city in this AU (he’s p chill here actually he doesn’t kill anyone and protects the people from other Epic attacks), Todoroki left and joined the Resistance and denies having any connection w Endeavour bc dad issues

All Might is the legendary Epic who never got corrupted, but disappeared one day and was never seen again, everyone assumes he’s dead

Anyway they lure the subordinate Epics individually and kill them

Throughout the whole story Izuku and Bkg are always at odds w each other so to shut them up Aizawa puts them on a mission to kill like one of the more powerful subordinate Epics

Everyone: WHAT

There are some people arguing that Izuku hasn’t proven himself to be exactly trustworthy yet but Aizawa argues that the person who would keep the closest eye on Izuku and not hesitate to kill him would be Bkg (jokes on you bc this is bkdk but anyway) and hence Bkg and Izuku would be a great pair for the mission

Although we all know like Aizawa knows that it’s just UST and he pairs them up to make them solve their previous trauma issues

They get into a scuffle before, during and after the mission bc they are that disaster duo

They definitely fail the mission and Bkg has to resort to using his Epic powers to bail them out

Bkg becomes more short tempered than usual bc of that

Also they have a lot of witty banter throughout the entire thing, before Bkg withdraws into his tsun shell again (there is no dere Bkg is wholly tsun)

Note that their relationship is still rocky, no Deku v Kacchan 2 yet but at the point of let’s say Final Exams Arc, where they grudgingly accept that they would work together for their shared goal

Anyway one day the subordinate Epics aka Dabi and Toga sniff out their hideout and appear and knock Bkg out and capture him. They reveal that they noticed that Bkg was an Epic and when they told Shiggy he told them to capture Bkg so they could convert him to the dark side. Meanwhile subplot of Toga getting trashed by absolute eight pack abs Uraraka

They tell him if they want to save Bkg they have to surrender and bring their leader to see Mirio at a specified location

(of course the interns’ goal is to make the Resistance and Mirio take each other out like Yakuza Arc style)

Izuku kinda loses it and wants to go rescue Bkg, but Aizawa says Bkg would have told them to go ahead w the plan to assassinate Mirio and not care for his safety as a hostage

(Izuku. Although Bkg doesn’t have prime invincibility he is still an Epic, he won’t die that easily…)

Anyway they kill Mirio in a fight, and once Izuku sees Mirio is dead he nyooms straight for Bkg’s location w Uraraka, Kirishima, Todoroki (everyone else is incapacitated)

They find Dabi and Toga there trying to corrupt Bkg (they ignored Mirio’s order to kill Bkg once the Resistance attacked bc have their own agenda remember), and they save him (damn Bkg why you Princess Peach like this)

Yaoyorozu arrives with backup and distracts them long enough to regroup, but Twice appears to bail Toga and Dabi out when Mirio dies, and they escape the city through Kurogiri

The building/ship on an ocean/underground base (idk haven’t fixed a location) is on fire and Yaoyozoru orders everyone to escape, but the falling rocks separate everyone as she says that

Izuku and Bkg both hobble out, but ha ha guess what Bkg’s weakness is?

If you said fire you are 100% correct

Anyway Bkg kinda freaks out bc he’s useless in situations involving fires (both w his usage of Epic powers and his fear) and kinda faints, and so Izuku, now all alone in the fires, whispers to Bkg ‘hey remember during one of our fights you accused me of keeping secrets from you bc you thought that was my way of looking down on you? well here is my secret and well on the 1/10000th chance that you’re still conscious and almost-but-not-really-delirious I’m deciding to share my secret with YOU’

And here is plot twist number 420 of the day: Izuku is an Epic.

Anyway Izuku busts out of the hideout with his super strength and gets them out of there safely. He hands Bkg to their medic Ashido who staples him up JJBA Fugo-to-Mista style and pronounces him Good to Go

The city celebrates and Aizawa takes control by saying the city is now under the protection of Endeavour (bc Endeavour is a High Epic who is secretly collaborating w the Resistance to end other Epics bla bla insert real life political examples about how to correctly go about revolutionising an entire city)

Anyway a day after the aftermath Bkg pulls Izuku aside and confronts him w his suspicions bc although he was unconscious there was no way Izuku busted them out of there w/o a superpower.

Also Izuku is a bad liar and he has been hinting w his actions throughout the entire plot like telling Kacchan that he has been entrusted with the hopes and dreams of a better future after one of their fights (but from WHO?? and entrusted with WHAT exactly???) and also Izuku accidentally bending forks in his stress and when someone calls him out he panics and calls them magic tricks or smth, or the time there was an event where they visited the market for weapons and he witness a slave ring selling kids for unpaid labour and when he thought no one was looking when he went out in the middle of the night and destroyed their hideout with one stomp but the next day they see it in the news and think it was a small earthquake (upon hearing that Izuku breathes a small sigh of relief, someone comments he must be relieved that the kids don’t have to suffer anymore right? and Izuku is like Yeah! That is Totally What I Was Thinking About And Not The Fact That I Am Afraid Of Having My Epic Powers Found Out And Subsequently Lynched) idk small foreshadowing stuff like that throughout the entire plot ok

Bkg is like dude. is this the reason why you’re so agreeable to keeping my Epic powers secret?! bc you too have powers and were looking down on me??! (Deku v Kacchan 2: Electric Boogaloo)

Izuku’s powers, inherited from All Might before he died a peaceful death: Gifting (permanently, or for a short period of time), Super strength and dexterity (but not reflexes), Minor prediction powers (though Izuku claims that is his own skill and not part of his Epic powers). Izuku is also, unexplainably, unable to be corrupted by his powers

Izuku’s fear is being powerless to act, which is why watching helplessly as Kacchan was kidnapped hit him particularly hard, but he overcame that which also alludes to his 100 level mental strength to resist corruption

Bkg, whispering: Holy shit.

Anyway the main story ends there with a hint of part 2 where they solve the mystery of OFA/AFO (where Calamity occured when AFO appeared and gave everyone powers to watch the world destroy itself for fun, and the only way to make the Calamity disappear and return sanity to the Epics is to *insert plot mechanic I have not figured out yet which has to do with Izuku’s OFA power* *or maybe it’s just as simple as killing AFO and Shiggy. idk*)

Hawks would appear in part 2 as an insider agent who recons w the Resistance at the start of part 2 and gives them intel on how to kill Shiggy. He is a normal person.

But the start of the start of part 2 definitely starts w Bkg and Izuku in chains in some kind of prison in an Epic hideout in another city. Bc Izuku tripped and fell while doing parkour during their mission. (Bc Bkg was forcing Izuku to train his usage of Epic powers bc more firepower is good in fights in the future!!!) While Epic who captured them is having a turf war with another Epic outside they do a prison break showing their pretty competent relationship now (and yeah both of them are too emotionally stunted have a relationship)
