  so a while back on my old blog ( when i had a lot less muses ), i had a post talking about everyone’s favourite muffins & for no reason at all i have decided to make an updated version with the updated muse list !

apollo — those everything morning breakfast muffins ig? he’s not a big bakery items person archie — he’s a double chocolate kinda guy. he’d take triple chocolate if he could asher — strawberry orange or any kind of chocolate chip chris — he doesn’t like to get the same things over & over again but a blueberry muffin is hard to mess up dante — he’d probably go for strawberry if it’s there eiji — sugar donut muffins. it’s barely a muffin but has muffin in the name so he’ll die on that hill eragon  —  it’s a tie between banana & carrot. every time he’s face with the decision of which one, he caves & gets both bc he can’t handle food choosing related pressures. he eats a ton anyway so nothing goes to waste hades — he’s not much of a pastry person, but he enjoys chocolate from time to time so i feel like anything chocolate would be good as long as it’s not overwhelmingly so hyunshik  — he doesn’t like things that are too sweet & prefers more subtle flavours. maybe like a banana muffin? isaac  —  blueberry for sure! he’s happy with most fruity muffins but blueberry is his top choice jamie  —  he’s not a huge muffin fan. don’t get me wrong, he likes em, but he doesn’t care too much about what flavour it is as long as it tastes good. he probably eats applesauce the most just because it’s one of hannah’s favourites kaede  —  being a vampire kaede isn’t big on human food, in an au where she’s still human, i’d wager to say it’s something like apple cinnamon kitae  — also apple cinnamon. it’s a flavour combination he loves in any form kyle  — he loves pumpkin anything, muffins included minkyung  — he likes obscure flavours, he thinks they’re fun. so it’s not something he sees a lot but he likes ginger & pear muffins a lot peter —  honey muffins! ( soft n sweet just like him ). he bakes a lot & thus has made many a muffin but honey is his fav bc it’s so simple yet delicious so they’re really easy to whip up phaelyn — another fan of fruity muffins, but actually likes lemon muffins the most. she finds them really refreshing ryan  — carrot, no question about it sam  — his mother’s favourite is banana chip & he’s not much of a baker himself so that’s what he grew up having. it’s kind of like a default favourite i guess? sebastian  —  zucchini chocolate chip. it was his mother’s go-to muffin n tastes like home. shin  —  another fan of chocolate chip. he likes to think he has a sophisticated pallet but leans a lot towards simpler flavours   soren — he’ll eat anything tbh. hasn’t tried a single food he hasn’t liked so he can’t pick a favourite anything tu’er shen  — he likes tea cake muffins, of any kind really but is partial to black tea vanilla tyrus  —  coffee cake muffins but those are a specialty thing so his next choice is banana nut

for the most part, you are totally shy & don't go looking for any trouble, but when someone confronts you, it is game on. when someone makes you mad, you don't stop until that person is destroyed entirely. just like the black mamba, when you bite back, it is pretty much always fatal for your opponent.

oo4. do she wear her hair down when she sleeps, or tied up / braided?

typically she wears her hair down but as it’s getting pretty long, she tends to put it into a loose top bun. it’s quite the look

o14. does he stay up too late? does he like staying up?

i wouldn’t say he stays up “too late” but that’s more on account of his job. it’s a lot of long hours & it’s getting better but he should probably be getting more sleep than he is. he doesn’t mind staying up per say, but if he could relax & just sleep he definitely would. he’s an early riser no matter how late he was up the night before so that’s that too lol

o24. does he have a short temper? what’s most likely to set it off?

not at all. he’s very hippy dippy, go with the flow kind of guy. that being said he’s quick to intervene if he sees someone in a bad situation & is not afraid to break some bones when needed

o34. is she the jealous type? what is she most likely to be jealous of?

not really. maybe if she sees a romantic partner being a little more chummy with someone than she’d like? there really isn’t much

o44. did he go to college, or is he attending? did / does he like it?

he did ! for a very long time lol. the road to being a vet is not a short one, but he did enjoy school a lot. he liked the social aspect a lot & made a lot of really great friends during that time. he honestly couldn’t have asked for a better school experience

▶   o3. what is something jamie won’t admit to himself, or hasn’t yet realized about himself?

he’s a really spoiled, sheltered kid. he sees people struggling & if there’s something he can do to help, he’ll do it. but i don’t think he can come to terms with how magnitude of other people’s struggles. he won’t admit to himself that he can’t sympathize properly with people because he truly believes he’s a good person & good people empathize & sympathize with those around them. as a result, he gives good advice to people that ask, but he’s also very blunt & is often seen as being rude or mean in the process. he doesn’t mean to, but it all stems from not being able to really put himself in other people’s shoes. he doesn’t know how to fix that, so he won’t admit to himself that it’s a problem.

▶  11. is there anything kaede is ashamed to admit she doesn’t understand? what?

i don’t think so? she has always been very open with what she does or doesn’t know. she doesn’t see the point in putting up a front about something when she could just admit she doesn’t know, learn whatever it is, & move on with her life. she’s lived so long she thinks it’s a waste of time. granted she has sense on when or when not to ask questions, but it doesn’t stem from shame of admitting anything.

▶   19. what’s something seb only does when he’s alone?

staying away from crude things like masturbating or picking his nose, i’’ll say cry? like he has no problem crying during something sad in a movie, but it’s completely different from crying because of something actually in his life. he’ll open up about his feelings, but crying he thinks is something a little too personal for him & he’ll keep it to himself. although, there are a handful people that have seen him cry, or rather, there very few times he’s cried in front of people. he cried at his wedding, & he cried when reagan was born so all those present either time would have seen that. but beyond those, it’s his parents, his brother sabin, his ex-wife amanda, his best friend milo ( who is actually written by @protectxrs ahem good blog ahem ), & little reagan herself.

as this is something that seems to have come up a lot lately in regards to shipping, here is a quick low-down on all my muses’ sexualities ( & please remember that these are non-negotiable ):

archie  —  gay

eragon  —  straight ( although the reality is that this isn’t something i’ve really explored so this may change )

isaac  —  bisexual

jamie  —  asexual & panromantic ( i highly recommend reading this post before making any assumptions on what asexual means )

kaede  —  straight

peter  —  demi/pansexual ( similar to jamie, as this sexuality is a little more complicated, i have a post outlining it, though his is a fair bit shorter than jamie’s. it can be found over here )

polyamory headcanons pt. 2

earlier i saw a post that was ‘ reblog if your muse is open to polyamory ‘ & it got me thinking & i wanted to make this it’s own post as opposed to trying to write in the tags. i made pt. 1 which you can find over here. this pt. 2 is the rest of my muses as i thought it was too long for a single post.

alright, so my boy tyrus here is just a very monogamous guy. a while ago i got a meme sent in about how my muses feel about threesomes & i’ll say it here again. he would if it’s something his girl would be into, but he’s not big on sharing in general. so for that reason i can’t see him getting into a poly relationship. that being said, i do think that he’d date someone who was polyamorous & was dating other people, he just wouldn’t want to also be in a relationship with those people. after all, not everyone who’s in a poly relationship are all in a relationship together. 

kaede.

kaede couldn’t do it at all. she wants to be with one person, & one person alone, & she expects the same. she won’t do threesomes, & certainly won’t date more than one person at a time. it’s just not in her bones. as it is, any time she starts to see someone, it always feels a little like she’s cheating on her first husband, makoto, even though he died the night she was turned which was nearly 1000 years ago.

jamie i think is similar to eragon in that he’s very much so a go with the flow. he doesn’t mind being monogamous or poly as long as he feels like he’s loved & respected in the relationship. there are other things he cares about much more, so he couldn’t care less if who ever he’s seeing wants to be in a closed or open relationship. in this vein, he tends to date people more casually & won’t ask them to be in a single relationship unless he thinks it’s something his partner is really gunning for.

28. can you sort your muses from weakest to strongest?

i did it strongest to weakest bc that was easier for me to do so, in order:

top of the chain is kaede. she’s a vampire that’s been alive for 1000 years & like with most if not all supernaturals, she only grows stronger over time

next i’m going to say is eragon, but it’s a very different kind of strong? he practices ancient magic & can control anything if he knows it’s true name ( reminder that this idiot is a canon character ). physically he’s not as strong as some of the other muses but he’s powerful af

in that same vein, peter pettigrew comes third. physically he’s not as strong but he’s immensely powerful when it comes to magic, again, this is all canon ( & that’s the tea ).

going back to physical strength, tyrus is next. he’s a born werewolf which means he has a lot more power & control than someone who has been turned & again, like with kaede, he does grow stronger over time as long as he makes an effort to keep fit, which, he obviously does. 

next is isaac. once weak but no more. he has spent countless hours working up his strength & honing his skills. he got tired of feeling powerless so he did everything he could to fix that

jamie, my baby boy, but somehow not the weakest. he’s 20 & reasonably active so he’s probably slightly above average but only just barely aka he might be able to beat you in an arm wrestle but definitely won’t win 100% of the time.

then second to last is sebastian. in high school & college he was quite athletic, & then as a young dad he was carrying raegan a lot but in later years not so much. he’s now 36 & very much so average.

then finally, archie is last. he’s a major book nerd so he’s not the strongest around. but he has always had major interest in playing football ( soccer ) so what he lacks in physical strength he makes up for in speed. that being said, he is able to carry heavy books & artifacts around with relative ease so who knows, maybe he’d actually be stronger than sebastian. but this is already long & i’m not about to start revising.
