Alenoah Week 2024: Day 4 - "Vampire AU"

Chapter 1. AN: Special fangz (get it, cuz Im goffik) 2 my new bf (ew not that way) owen, 4 helpin me wif da story and spelling. U rok! Ale ur da luv of my deprzzing life u rock 2! MCR ROX! Hi my name is Noah Dark'ness Dementia Raven Mudaliar and I have long ebony black hair (that's how I got my name) with purple streaks and red tips that reaches my mid-back and deep brown eyes like the abyss and a lot of people tell me I look like Amy Lee (AN: if u don't know who she is get da hell out of here!). I'm not related to Gerard Way but I wish I as because he's a major fucking hottie. I'm a vampire and my teeth are sharp as knives. I have dull, ashen skin. I'm also a contestant on Total Drama, and I'm currently flying around the world on the Total Drama Jumbo Jet during its third season (I'm seventeen). I'm a goth (in case you couldn't tell) and I wear mostly black. I love hot topic and I steal all my clothes from Gwen's luggage, since she buys all her clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black corset with matching lace around it and a black leather miniskirt, crimson fishnets and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking around the jet. It was snowing and raining outside, causing a lot of turbulence, which I was kind of annoyed with. Team Amazon stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them. "Hey Noah!" shouted a voice. I looked up. It was... Alejandro Burromuerto! "What's up Alejandro?" I asked. "Nothing." he said shyly. But then, I heard the rest of our team call me and I had to go away. AN: IS it good? PLZ tell me fangz!

WO RO RO RO! Welcome to Part-2 of the One Piece Art Collab! In 2013, we did a gigantic One Piece Art Collab⬅ (DOWNLOAD FOR FREE!) where we had over 378+ artists participate in drawing their own takes on the One Piece characters. It has been a full decade since then, which means that there are a crap-ton of new characters from the series to draw! We’ll be starting from the Post-Dressrosa Arc up until the most recent storyline: EGGHEAD! Yes, like last time, One Piece Art Collab vol. 2 will contain *spoilers* from the MANGA, so this is your heads up!

If you would like to avoid *spoilers* from future Chapters we have organized them by order of the Arc. It should be easy to avoid seeing characters you don’t know yet! Also while drawing your submission, please be mindful of people who don’t read *leaks/spoilers* ahead of time and wait for the official release on Sundays.

To REQUEST/SUBMIT a character you can email us at theonepiececollab2@gmail.com or join our Discord Server and request in the “#character-request.” channel. (We will respond as soon as possible!)

The default background should be white or transparent (Do not draw outside the frame!)

Submissions should be digital or scanned if the piece was done traditionally

(no photos of drawings!) DO NOT! Let the art go past the edges of the canvas.

File Dimensions are 1300w x 1500h [350dpi+] and saved as a .psd, .clip, and .png format.

If you have two characters in one entry make the file 2600w x 1500h [350dpi+] Work on a canvas size bigger than the turn in size.

Must be full-body drawings with minor exceptions depending on the character. Make sure to add your preferred social media handle on the piece itself.

DO NOT TRACE!!! Draw in your own style/way! BE YOU! BE SUUUPER, OW~!

[A.I. ART IS NOT ALLOWED!] This is about showing love to Oda, a traditional artist who makes his work with his own hands from his own imagination. We want the work to reflect the man who inspired us all!

We will do our best to thoroughly inspect each piece and will remove any A.I. “art” we find. The character will be re-listed after. If we miss any please let us know, because we will never allow it intentionally! (Please provide evidence! We cannot go off he said, she said.)

When you’re done submit your drawing (on our discord and email!) If you post your entry to social media make sure to add the hashtag “#OnePieceArtCollab2.” and provide us with the link to your social media post so we can link it to your entry in this document for everyone to see!

Drawing The Musketeers 5

So! Last night I passed out really early. I got 10½ hours sleep and am mildly confused but feeling quite chipper. Ate and exercised; time for another drawing.

Finding simple, face-on shots of the Women of the Musketeers is difficult! Go have a look at the official pictures – Constance, Sylvie, and The Queen all pose looking across their shoulders (oddly enough, so does Louis – a defensive pose?). Gah. But I found a good screengrab of this character just as I was beginning to give up.

Things to note:

Not only does she have long, curling hair, but it’s light and very fine. Argh.

Attempting to recreate the strong shadow on her face and chest may have been an error.

I need to be cautious, at this stage of development, about being over-ambitious. Nothing wrong with trying stuff, but... box a bit cleverer, maybe?

The only way I could find to show up her hair was to draw her background, so that's a first.

I realise the irony of flanking a strongly feminist, female character with men.

I went to more trouble than previously to measure the proportions of her face. It’s still not great, but it’s a lot better.

Entering what I’m calling the Drawing Fugue is less noticeable than leaving it.

Yeah, the eyes. Well, at least they’re level!

I enjoyed this exercise and am reasonably pleased with the result.

All this has reminded me how much more Ninon de Larroque I could have done with on the show and reinforced my determination to write her into some of the fanfic I’m doing.
