This story isn't even close to 10,000 words, but it's so unbelievably powerful - I am still blown away! The author manages to hit on so many interpersonal aspects and delicate vibrations, to formulate soft, tender feelings and thoughts and describes Alex and Henry both so damn considerate and soulful - the author nailed it (imho), it's almost impossible to grasp!

The catch, on top of the homophobic Queen: Henry is engaged, his fiancée lovely, amazing even, and the wedding date is about to be set. How the author weaves together the familiar events and plotlines and their own ideas is brilliant! Not gonna lie: It was (to me) oppressive at times, really angsty - but also highly gripping!

@celeritas2997: Alex is just a Regular Guy who just happened to put Prince Henry on his 'No Consequences Sex List' and proceeds to tell him about this when they meet. Lots of sex (like, ridiculously hot sex) and feelings (SO MANY FEELINGS) ensue. I am convinced that Anchor is magic and will continue shouting about this series from the rooftops until the end of days; it is clever, sexy, funny, beautifully written and so, so, so heartfelt. ❤️

@heybuddy-drabbles: I started this when it first started and thought it was just some fun little pwp canon divergence. When I picked it up again, it was a hell of a series. I loved every last bit of it. It goes way into the whole "If cake gate didn't happen, Alex would have made himself a problem for Henry anyway" and he does in the most glorious way. I can't talk enough about HENRY in this though. It's mostly on Alex POV except the extra chapter but I'm OBSESSED WITH HENRY. How he's older. How he does things for himself like running the shelters with Pez even before he meets Alex. Anyway I could talk about Henry in this series for days but that's not why we are here for. ❝  LIGHT UP ENTERTAINMENT was established in november 4th, 2012 by ceo HAN JINWOO. a man who had been fresh out of high school, he didn’t want to have to get a real job, and being the spoiled brat that he is convinced his very wealthy parents to buy him a company for him to run. LIGHT UP would come together very sloppily and unprofessionally, however, with JINWOO’s charms he managed to create an image of this “perfect” company for trainees to be under. he wanted perfect idols, idols who’d listen to him no matter what, and he managed to almost get his way with that. the company would manage three groups under it before the start of its downfall in early 2024 due to allegations of abuse, sexual assault, among many other things would come to light.  ❞

❝  LIGHT UP ENTERTAINMENT’s most seuccessful group, as well as its first group, 4THNE would put the company on the map. it would unfortunately be due to 4TUNE’s success that the members of IN BLOOM and ASTERIX would audition for the company, with no idea of the things that would go on behind closed doors. the boys were mistreated severely due to JINWOO pushing the idea that success was pain and that hurting constantly was the price of fame. it would be due to the members of 4TUNE speaking out and member KAIZ specifically suing the company for abuse that LIGHT UP’s problems would come to light.  ❞

𓍢 ✷ꜜ ࣪ . IN BLOOM !

❝  IN BLOOM is a south korean girl group under LIGHT UP ENTERTAINMENT. the second group to come out of LIGHT UP, the girls would originally be known for their cutesy/girl crush concept. they would make their debut on may 3rd, 2018 with the youngest member being only fourteen years old and the oldest seventeen. the ages of the girls alone would spark controversy amongst netizens that was carefully covered up by the company. however, when the oldest member would turn eighteen is when netizens would especially raise their concern for the safety of the group.

when IN BLOOM’s oldest member MIYEON would turn eighteen in 2019, the group’s concept would drastically change from its once cutesy concept to one that was mature, way too mature for any of the members, especially the maknae. with all this criticism and extra focus on the group, fans started to notice bruises on the girls. hashtags would begin flooding the internet only to be taken down quickly allegedly because LIGHT UP threatened legal action.

IN BLOOM would continue to comeback despite the concern around the girls safety. however, they would have their last comeback in may of 2023, and have not been heard since. fans are concerned about the girls safety as 4TUNE has brought up a lot of concerning things about the safety of LIGHT UP. fans can only wonder what the girls are going through if they are trapped.  ❞

𓍢 ✷ꜜ ࣪ . ASTERIX !

❝  ASTERIX is the second boy group under LIGHT UP ENTERTAINMENT and the last one that we know of at the moment ( surely with 4TUNE leaving, the company is scrambling to find more trainees to debut ). this group is also the group that never really hid how badly they were being treated, because it was so normalized. ASTERIX is a nine member boy group that formed through survival show STAR BOY. they woupd make their debut on february 12th, 2022, fans speculate that LIGHT UP knew that 4TUNE would be exposing them soon and created the survival show to trap trainees under the company in case they tried to leave. ASTERIX is LIGHT UP’s insurance in a sense.

because the mistreatment that happens during survival shows, especially minors has become so normalized, no one really spoke up or necessarily saw a problem with how the ASTERIX boys as well as the other trainees were treated theoughout the show. food was would be offered only as a reward to the winning team, losing teams had to sleep all in the gymnasium rather than the dorms. trainees would be sporting bruises throughout performances and added scenes but it was brushed over as just boys “roughhousing.”

the mistreatment of the boys did not only take place on the show, but is actually still going on to this day. on december 5th, 2023, ASTERIX would have their fourth comeback of the year, following four mini albums and a single the year before. and before the news of 4TUNE leaving LIGHT UP was announced, it was revealed that ASTERIX was having yet another comeback on march 30th. their members are all born between 2003 and 2004 all barely adults. the boys are currently being extremely overworked, and because of their contract, fans are unsure if they even have to option to leave LIGHT UP.   ❞

PRINCE WILLIAM TO OPEN DUCHY OF CORNWALL NURSERY’S NEW RESTAURANT: THE ORANGERY

Prince William will visit Duchy of Cornwall Nursery, based near Lostwithiel, Cornwall, on Monday 10th July to open The Orangery, its new restaurant which has been built as part of a nine-month extension project to create sustainable visitor spaces at the nursery.

Originally a slate quarry, Duchy of Cornwall Nursery began life producing forest trees in the late 1960s. It started to sell plants to the public in 1974 and went on to become one of the largest nurseries in the south west. The nursery prides itself on using sustainable practices, where horticulture is celebrated, and nature is allowed to flourish.

On arrival at the nursery, the Prince will visit the building’s new central atrium where he will meet with staff, as well as Duchy of Cornwall employees involved in the extension project.

Continuing through to the glasshouse, part of the original nursery building and home to the most comprehensive range of indoor plants, cacti, succulents and air plants for retail in the south west, the Prince will then visit the Bumblebee Garden.

Using extra space and working alongside the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, the nursery has planted a patchwork of different flowers to create the perfect home to aid the declining bumblebee population. The project has inspired visitors to create bumblebee habitats within their own domestic gardens.

Finally, the Prince will officially open the new restaurant, The Orangery, overlooking Restormel Castle, which serves seasonal menus using herbs from the kitchen garden at the nursery and takes influence from local farms and the Cornish coastline.

Theon lets Sansa name all of their kids northern names if she wanted too but she makes sure to name some of them with island influences, such as Gwendolyn and Quenton. Theon and Sansa are the biggest gossips in Robb’s court, and Theon is a good husband who discreetly gets gossip for Sansa. He gives her kraken jewelry all the time. If he ends up being lord reaper he is constantly visiting winterfell so Sansa can see her family and he can see his best friend. They start a tradition of the heir to winterfell being fostered on Pyke to retain good relations. He builds her a Godswood. She brings glasshouses to pyke and they are finally able to produce enough food. They both love to cuddle and Theon is always extra gentle when it comes to touching Sansa’s back. He 100% commissions a throne for her beside the sea stone chair. Unfortunately only one of Sansa’s kids gets her hair but about half of them get her eyes. They work together to stop the piracy of the iron islands and instead convert them to trade. They dance all the time especially once Sansa revealed that as a child her favorite thing about Theon was that he would dance with her. Theon also brings out a more carefree side of Sansa helping her shed the perfect lady image she so often puts on. Sansa let’s Theon braid her hair. They coordinate outfits all the time, mainly through accessories with Sansa wearing kraken jewelry and Theon wearing rings that match the color of her dresses, usually pale blues and purples.

in a modern au they are such an opposites attract scenario. I feel like both modern Sansa and Arya would be into dance, with Sansa being obsessed with ballet, and Arya using the gracefulness and flexibility from dance in her jiu jitsu. Anyways Theon is at every single one of Sansa’s performances and always brings her winter roses and lemon cakes. Robb is actually ok with their relationship but Jon is super hostile about it because he is super protective of his little sister, they are actually cousins but Ned adopts him after Lyanna dies. Theon plays dumb but he’s smart, when they were younger he would always help Sansa with math since that was the only subject she struggled with. he decides to work for a fishing business on the upper east coast. For half the year they live in New York since Sansa is a principal dancer for the New York ballet and the other half they live on cape cod for Theon’s fishing business. def have more but I can’t think of all of them rn.

In ASOIAF, if the North were to discover the potato, implement some agricultural reforms and/or build more glass houses to grow more food, would the crown be able/have the authority to intervene and tell them to stop?

I imagine that should the North do that, the Reach would lose (a part of) a stable stream of income, since the North is probably buying food from them on a regular basis. And the Reach lords might pressure the crown to do something.

What, if anything, might the king do with regard to the North, in this situation?

Well, the potato is not going to happen, because there are no New World foods in Westeros (except when GRRM screws up and forgets something). Agricultural reforms and glasshouses are definitely possible.

However, I think your mental framework for the Westerosi economy needs some adjustment, because the North would not regularly buy food from the Reach. The distance between Winterfell and Highgarden is 3,000 miles - that journey would take carts full of grain almost a year to complete. All that travel time means higher transportation costs and a lot of losses due to wastage and spoilage, which would wipe out profit margins. Even by boat you're still talking about a month's travel and that's taking the short route to the west coast that doesn't have a port city like White Harbor to dock at - if you're a merchant from Oldtown, why take on the extra costs and risks when you could sell your grain in Lannisport or King's Landing or the Free Cities instead?

The North gets food from the Reach only during times of crisis (i.e, very long winters). This is explicitly described as an instance of the crown offering poor relief to prevent famine, rather than the normal functioning of the private sextor.

But to answer your question: no, the King would not have the authority to do that - the whole premise of the feudal contract is that the liege lord gives the fief over to the vassal and now it's theirs to do with as they want as long as they fulfill their part of the bargain. And no, the Westerosi monarchy does not have the state capacity to micro-manage the day-to-day economic functioning of hundreds and thousands of manors across a kingdom the size of the North.

However, I don't think it would even get to that point, because no matter how much Reacherlords might lobby the King, he's not going to agree to do something that's directly against his material interests. Higher food production in the North means higher tax revenue twice over, because both the incomes of his subjects and the number of subjects who can be taxed are increasing.

❝ THE DARKNESS IS SWEEPING OVER GLASSHOUSE WITH NEW, BLOOD-CURDLING FRIGHTS LURKING ABOUT ! ❞

the time has come – GLASSHOUSE fans' favourite holiday of the year, aka, HALLOWEEN. the people have been waiting a year in suspense for the company's annual event, and they haven't been disappointed with this year's celebration. at the end of september, GLASSHOUSE posted on their official website a link for something they called FREAK NIGHT. just like the previous year, you'd have to pre-order the tickets, and the winners would be randomly picked, while those who haven't been selected would receive a signed album of their choice and a virtual fan meet.

the event was happening on an abandoned farm, where fans would be thrown into a extended maze and would try to escape it before their beloved idols "kill" them. the people involved would be randomly assigned into groups of five to seven, which would then have to work together to escape the FREAK NIGHT safe and sound. once the fans safely found an exit, they would receive a card with a mysterious link written on it. the link would then bring them to GOOGLE FORMS, where people had to provide proof they were at the event, write their address and favourite group / singer to receive a tote bag of goods, which would be filled with the [ CHOSEN ARTIST ]'s 2024 SEASON's GREETINGS ( SMART ALBUM VERSION ), an album with BEHIND THE SCENES of the event, FREAK NIGHT's official POSTCARD, CANDY SET which was personally picked by the [ CHOSEN ARTIST ], JIGSAW PUZZLE, official [ CHOSEN ARTIST ]'s HOODIE and a PERSONALISED LETTER, commemorating their time at the GLASSHOUSE's FREAK NIGHT.

the event proved successful not just for the fans, but also for artists from different companies who entered the fun maze, which was shared on instagram for the rest of the world to see! GLASSHOUSE was praised for their dedication during the annual holiday and the company was mentioned in various american magazines for such a cool and interesting approach to interacting with fans.

It wasn't your intention to kill the damn thing, in fact, you had tried to somehow take extra special care of it. But now there you both stood, looking at the flooded flower that's now surely ruined and dying in the glasshouse....

Saeran walks forward and takes away the water can, putting it to the side. He gets down on his knees to check the damage and you can feel sweat run down your forehead. “Fuck- I'm sorry!! I really just wanted to water it but-”

You cut yourself as Saeran waves you over, telling you silently to kneel down with him. As you do, he goes into the dirt with his hands, picking up something you couldn't identify. “You washed seeds to the surface.” He says.

Suddenly he cracks a smile and soon a chuckle follows his reaction. You're starting at him in bewilderment as he looked over with a rather amused facial expression. “You have a hand for brining dying things back to life, don't you.. my love.” You blink at that.

“Wha..” But Saeran stands up with the dirt still between his fingers, holding out his hand to you. “They were getting weaker so I figured they're not going to survive any longer. Haha, I guess I should thank you for getting something good out of that once again.”

2. What was the first moment that they knew they were in love with their LI?

I answered for the red duo here, and as for the other two... I'd say it happened gradually as well? I mean, there was this low-key attraction on both sides from the beginning, but emotions were difficult to deal with.

Things were happening during their community service in the East Shroud, thanks to which there’s now a magitek-powered glasshouse, because I say so, and a bunch of sylph-shaped toys flying around, and a relatively environment-friendly defences (and Arianna made sure the Gyr Abanians knew those are *not* against them, no need for another Autumn War). It evolved from ‘I supervise and you work’ to an actual teamwork pretty quickly, because Arianna couldn’t stay idle and started hunting for golem cores for the machines and genuinely listened to Nero’s suggestions and even borrowed some extra pairs of helping hands from Cid and told them to just roll with everything that jerk in stupid shades would tell them. And so his train of thoughts went like this: she relies on him - never makes him feel like he’s a replacement - is pretty and badass and not stupid - and it’s never boring with her - actually a good match??? But he never went beyond the banter and cheesy pick-up lines no one would take seriously, because he was insecure and she was spiky. Meanwhile, Arianna was kind of pissed off, because he was constantly on her mind and she didn’t want to be distracted. She didn’t want to be feverish. She wanted her thoughts clear again. So maybe. Just maybe. She was the first to initiate a thing. That was supposed to be one-time only. To get this over with. But she did not get over at all. And slowly began to accept her fate.

29. What are your favourite moments that happen between them?

For Helvi and X’rhun it’s when they were on the way to Mor Dhona to fight his arch-nemesis. When they stopped for some rest, X’rhun told Helvi and Arya a bedtime story about his homeland and it was very nostalgic and descriptive, and Helvi was positively enchanted, but then she remembered the night before going to Ishgard, when Haurchefant had been telling her about his city and she’d been enchanted as well. And she started making parallels in her mind and was like: Oh. Oh no. I can’t. I mustn’t. That’s too much. Damn. And she tried hard not to cry, but didn’t want X’rhun to stop talking either, and finally she fell asleep.

For Arianna and Nero it’s from their Shroud misadventures again. One evening he was tinkering at the Hawthorne Hut and she was listening to his nerdy rambling, an angry mob with pitchforks came along, demanding to give away ‘the Garlean instigator’. So Arianna came out in her full Flame uniform, with her own pitchfork, and glared at them while telling them off, and had a time of her life, taking the opportunity to tell those xenophobic jerks what she thought of them. And Nero was eavesdropping from the inside and even if his heart didn’t melt, his knees sure did.
