OnlyOneOf Basic Introduction!

OnlyOneOf is a 6 member (formerly 7) South Korean boy group that debuted on May 28th, 2019 under the company 8D Entertainment. The fandom name is LyOn. You'll notice the O's are always capitalized in song and album titles. The main concept that OnlyOneOf embraces as a group is infinite expansion. When the group debuted, they described their beginnings as a dot. With each new release, they declare their ambition to continue to leap in every way, expanding into more dimensions, turning into lines, then planes. This structural universe serves as a metaphor for endless exploration and evolution the group pursues, both as artists and people. It also serves as a clear reminder of their multi-faceted humanness, including "negative" traits and ideas that are stereotypically absent in most idol concepts and groups.

•Jisung left the group on August 2nd, 2021 for personal reasons. His leaving was very sudden and not well handled as the company never gave any explanation, the rest of the members haven't been allowed to talk about Jisung and the company basically acts like he never existed. We heard that he completed his military enlistment a couple years ago but otherwise it's been radio silence for three years, until July 2024 when Jisung opened his own personal Instagram under the username q4oll7 (which is his birthday 940117), I'm just happy to know that he's okay. So if you're new to OnlyOneOf know that we LyOns still love Jisung, there was no controversy or anything problematic with him. We are OT7 forever.

초여름의 숨결로 가득한 날, 재경이와 함께 선유도 공원으로 소풍을 갔다. 목 좋은 자리는 일찍이 근면한 이들의 전당이 되었다. 우리가 자리한 곳은 엉성한 나뭇잎 사이로 햇살이 파고들지만 일광욕을 즐길 수 있을 정도의 포근한 기운을 띠었다. 지마켓에서 ��매한 감성 돗자리를 펴고는 망원시장에서 사 온 닭강정과 김밥(?), 한라봉 주스와 제철 과일을 꺼내 놓았다.

분명 지표로 나타나는 세부항목 상의 기상조건은 썩 좋은 편이 아니었다. 보통 정도의 미세먼지 농도에 구름이 낀 날씨였지만, 기억 속 날씨는 사정이 정반대이다. 하늘은 나른한 하늘색의 추상으로 펼쳐져 있었고, 재경의 엉덩이를 베껴낸 듯 몽실몽실한 구름이 떠 있었다. 이쯤 되면 대기 속의 미세먼지는 스스로의 존재를 부정해야 할 것이다.. 한강의 물줄기를 따라 먼 곳에서부터 불어온 잔잔한 바람은 초여름 신록의 푸른 빛과 흙내음을 실어 나르며 우리를 감싸안는다. 나와 재경이도 부둥켜안는다. 들짐승처럼 뺨을 부비고 맞닿을 수 있는 몸의 모든 장소를 균열 없이 잇는다. 숫기를 감출 수 없던 숨소리와 맥박의 빠른 떨림이 여전히 생생하다.

자신의 존재를 규정하는 계절의 중심에서 재경이는 여름의 정령처럼 보인다. 신비롭다. 초록빛이 수놓은 정원의 품 안에서 재경이는 이 계절이 상실한 기억과 꿈을 고스란히 간직한 채로 거닌다. 풍경이 어찌나 고요하고 평화로운지 내 눈에 닿는 모든 객체가 실재감을 잃어버린듯 하다. 일본에 다녀온 직후인 재경이가 쥐여줬던 선물 꾸러미를 풀어 놓는다. 미처 닦이지 못한 재경이의 근심스런 표정이 선물 여기저기에 묻어 있다. 재경이를 똑 닮은, 푸른 깃털의 앙증맞은 새가 해바라기 꽃잎에 앉아 쉬는 형상의 자그마한 트레이가 있다. 어떤 역할로든 이 트레이는 우리의 시간을 품고 있을 것이다. 영원은 새롭게 태어난다. 우리가 함께 시간을 헤아리고 느끼는 새로운 형식 속에서, 시간을 망각하는 끈질긴 절차 속에서. 매일 새롭게 영원이 탄생한다.
