❀. catherine has a bit of a complex when it comes to spending money since she grew up without much of it, so i can imagine she feels guilty spending money on stuff that doesn’t have practical use or isn’t a necessity (ie: everything she’s ever enjoyed ever)

❀. i could see her buying treats for the monastery strays though she just can’t help herself

34) Who do they trust most, and what's a secret they would tell them?

❀. aside from the obvious answer of claude who she would trust with her life as their relationship grows, i’ve always played around w the idea of her having a close relationship w manuela

❀. i think of all the staff, manuela’s the one she could trust the most since her relationship w the church is a bit more distant than the rest, if manuela was at the monastery during that time, i could see catherine showing up to the infirmary w all those wounds and bruises she doesn’t want to talk about…

❀. i don’t even know if catherine would have to say anything overt i feel manuela would be able to figure out what was happening to her quickly considering where all her wounds were located also i don’t think the situation would be unfamiliar to her, i can imagine her seeing similar abuse happening at mittlefrank

I believe everybody who knows Maroon loves her because of her nature, she is always tryint to be nice and make everybody feel loved and secure around her. I think the only person who doesn't feel like that about her is Giovanni because... well. that's how divorce works/JJJJJ BUT. NOW BEING SERIOUS, I think he would just feel conflicted about her and just tries to avoid her even he still misses her at least a liiiittle bit

❀. SKY WATCH catherine loves riding pegasi sm (especially if claude’s assigned the same chore) she loves being able to see outside the monastery and the feeling of the wind in her hair, she feels…free

❀. stealing a little bit from three hopes but equipment management is her absolutely least fav, if you’ve looked at her wiki you know she hates being around weapons, reminds her too much of her the responsibilities her father has given her and all those lectures on how the mechanisms of ballistae work…

8) If at the monastery at the time, would they take part in the fishing tournament, and how well would they do?

❀. i think catherine has watched more fishing tournaments than she can keep count

❀. i don’t think she’d participate since she isn’t fond of being around most of the church staff a ton, also fishing isn’t super common in mecali nor is it common in any of the dishes so she can’t even enjoy that part either

❀. but i think once she was officially enrolled in the academy, she’d become a little more fond of the feast thrown by a certain house leader that followed the tournament

13) If they're a mounted unit what would they name their mount?

❀. anyways OFC catherine names her pegasus and i think she would go for Luz (pronounced “looz” or “loose” if that helps)! i could see her and and her pegasus have a really close bond since she’s become such an emotional support for catherine over the years so a mecalian name meaning “light” feels perfect

23) What skill or ability are they proud of that they don't get to show off often?

❀. i think catherine would be good at animal first aid! mecali streets are filled with stray dogs so when she was little she learned quickly how to take care of sick/injured animals

allow me to set the scene: your stepsister, Natasha is getting married and it's a destination wedding in Aspen. super snowy and cold, but it's been her dream since you were children. after yet another failed relationship, you're tempted not to show up at all since everyone is expecting you to come with a date. even your parents remind you of their excitement bc they're afraid of your 'wild lifestyle' keeping you from settling down (they're very traditional).

so you ask your neighbour, the tall and handsome mechanic/biker (with the bluest eyes) if he could be your fake date for the trip. to be fair, you two are pretty good friends, to the point where he gets free drinks at the bar you work at and he's always your ride home after a night of partying with your friends. it goes well and all, the fake intimacy and love, but one thing leads to another and then it all blows up:

"Don't say it." You turn away, tucking your hands into your pockets, desperate for any hint of warmth, "Please, don't say it."
