And look- I struggle to reveal this but I'm a non-denominational Christian and I've gotten judged a lot b/c ppl confuse me for being catholic when I'm not.

I'm pro-choice, pro feminism, pro 4b movement, pro-lgbt, pro- euthanasia etc I don't even go to church, I just pray at home and continue my faith b/c it's saved me from ending it all at the darkest times in my life.

And I become fascinated by how humanity can twist religious fanaticism as an excuse for their own behaviours.

So I'm watching Midnight Mass which is a brilliant series about this priest who gives ppl miracles but then bodies get discovered and low and behold- he in fact is not giving ppl miracles

So when I saw the fic I was like OMG YES CULT LEADER YUNHO THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD!!

And I honestly think that fic was better than some published novels I've read and if this was a k-drama or a series on Netflix I would be quick to press the 'play' button.

I might now make a religious fic because you've inspired me so much.

I'm invested, I'm inspired, pls keep going with the fic, how dark can you make it?

You & Robin both got up bright and early both too excited for the events for tonight to really sleep in. Today was Robin and Eddie’s senior skip day anyway having Robin overnight last night you both had a great time. Painting your toenails gossiping eating snacks and bopping to your records & 8 tracks even with the less then 4 hour sleep you both got you’re both bursting with energy. You got a surprise for Robin she’s such a good friend you had to repay her somehow for all her help & a little something for yourself too. You decided to treat robin to getting her hair done anyway her heart desires for her special day. Your heart hurts for her you & Steve are the only ones who know her secret & knowing how badly she wanted to ask Vicki but opting to go with her male bff you’re hoping this gesture brings up her spirits. “Hey robs why don’t you get dressed & I’ll meet you at the car” you smile at her she looks at you confused “uhh we forget something I’m not aware of… WAIT the guys aren’t getting ready here too are they because that’s b-“ you cut her off “Robs we didn’t forget anything no need to spaz out I just have a special surprise for you & we have to drive to get it” her eyes light up like a kid on Christmas “okay meet you in the car!!” She shouts as she darts outside already swinging your keys around. You settle for a dye cut and style y/c/h dyed a gorgeous black with a blonde money piece the dead ends trimmed & your hair curled & waved in an old Hollywood style look you turn to see robin All finished her hair in a curly updo with babies breath and a few roses around the crown of her head she looks amazing. She finally see your new look her jaw drops “oh my god Jamie!!! You’re…. You’re fkn hot!! What the hell?! You look like a whole new person!” You blush “thanks robs I love yours you look so beautiful!” Both giddy & ready to head back to finish getting ready you both stopped for a surprise your fake id coming in handy one more year until 21 but you’re not gonna just come to this thing without something to share with your love & friends a bottle of makers mark for the guys and some sangria for you & Robin. You start with her makeup she wants a natural look but you know you’re giving her a smoky eye anyway once you put the finishing touches you turn her around she gasps “is that a good gasp or a bad one” she turns to you lips wobbling “I… I… I love it Jamie thank you her eyes well with tears you pull her in for a hug “you’re so lucky I used waterproof mascara don’t ruin my master piece” you giggle robin goes to finish up while you start on your own makeup. Smoky eye with earth tones & some shimmer to make it pop a movie star red lip & peach blush you pull out your dress add your ruby necklace and matching earrings & add your head piece now that it’s dry you & robin glued black and red stones on it & you slip on your favorite black heels & wait to put your mask on until after photos with everyone. You pull out your stash hiding a few prerolled joints for later & leaving one out for now “hey Buckley” you twist it in your fingers she smiles “don’t gotta tell me twice”.

Ya gurl is hella pale. Like super pale👻. I can’t not wear lipstick/colour if I’m wearing my contacts because then I’m just seethrough. At least with glasses it creates a contrast.

BUT - I hate reapplying or it fades etc. I want a lipstain type thing that will last, be some colour, and then I can just balm/gloss most of the day.

Oddly enough, lip stains aren’t my favorite 🫣 they can tend to dry your lips out. However, there’s a new product from Charlotte Tilbury called Airbrush Flawless Matte Lip Blur that is AMAZING!

Now, a trick for lips though, it’s what I do on my brides; Mac Prep & Prime lip primer, a lipliner (I do love the MAC ones), blend the liner out, and then add a later of lipstick (again, MAC is my favorite) take a tissue, and blot the lips and then add another layer.

Matte lips last longer. Glossy/satin lips last less amount of time. Also with glosses, the stickier, the longer they last. Ultimately, there’s not this incredible amazing product that will last forever on your lips. But that lipstick trick, I wear MAC’s Cherry liner and Ruby Woo lipstick, and made it through a charity event with champagne and food for a few hours. Not to mention talking.

I know it's rather simple and a common answer but I love love love love My Neighbor Totoro! It's beautiful and I can relate to family troubles, moving a lot, and having to find ways to entertain myself in....let's call it unique ways lmao. I didn't have my sibling with me under the same house growing up so I'd often just dream of what was around this new area before me, and Totoro is just so cuuuute! I love the soot sprites too. I'm gonna get a Totoro plush from Japan soon too as a gift from a friend, I'm so excited! I recently got a Totoro satchel delivered too >:D

I just can't help but adore the carnation. It seems so false but it's such a genuine and gorgeous flower, it's almost unbelievable finding one is just natural. I studied the flower language for a bit as story research and fell in love with its meanings! My personal favorite is a plain white carnation! (I found an article on the basic meanings of some carnation colors in case you're interested :D I'm a very symbolic person and carnations just hit the spot hehe (I also love snapdragons, they're gorgeous even when they're dead)
