Happy Death Day

Chrollo Lucilfer

📖Chrollo’s reaction is daunting, not because he has a very emotional reaction or anything. In fact it is the exact opposite. Because he is chillingly quiet and composed when being confronted with your dead body makes this all so eerie and terrifying. He checks darling’s pulse at first and when he realizes that they’re dead and there is nothing he can do anymore, he stands up. His face is hardened and shallow, the only thing that betrays this nearly perfect mask is the single tear that escapes his dark eyes. In that one moment the world around Chrollo seems to stop as if waiting fearfully for the man’s reaction. Then, slowly and creeping, it fills the air. His Nen, deadly and serenely. A portentous messenger for everyone who feels it as this Nen is like poison that slowly paralyzes one. The feeling he brings is the one of an empty void that threatens to pull everyone and everything into nothingness he will meet in the future. Nothing will quench the silent and painful hole in his heart anymore.

📖He sits up surprisingly graceful in bed as soon as he has opened his eyes and taken in his surroundings. He’s in his room, he must have fallen asleep is what he deduced within the first few seconds. You’re next to him too, unharmed and well. Chrollo could of course brush it off as a mere dream now but something about this entire ordeal was too chilling, too realistic to be seen as a dream. Chrollo winds up just watching you in deep thought for the entire rest of the night. With the dream freshly in mind and the hollow pain still stuck in his chest, there is oddly much comfort in the pattern of your breath and your heartbeat alongside with the warmth radiating off of you. With the dawn comes a realization for Chrollo though as he notes the first similarities of his dream and the current day, starting already with the date. So he awaits your awakening to analyze your reaction.

📖Surely you give him the confirmation when your peaceful sleep turns into a quickened heartbeat and whimpers as you shoot up from bed with a startled expression. You can only enjoy the thought that this was only a dream for that long before you turn around to be met with dark eyes drilling into your deepest soul. Something about the air around Chrollo suffocates you as he hums in a gentle tone if you’ve had a nightmare. Deny it as you want, little spider, Chrollo sees straight through your jittery facade as he is sure that this dream wasn’t merely a dream. Differently from usual though, he doesn’t play mind tricks with you as he already knows your secret, knows that throughout the day you’ll get undeniably paranoid as you come to realize that today you‘ll die. This accident was a miscalculation from his side but Chrollo will smooth things out.

📖His darling has a hunch what his intentions are when he changes his complete plan for the day since he rarely goes against something he has planned. He summons a few of the other spiders and gives them instructions and no one from them question him. No, instead they sense that something must have happened due to this lightly brooding air around Chrollo, one that you notice only if you stayed long enough for it to affect you, one that creeps slowly up your back. For the rest of the day, Chrollo just keeps you very close to him, seems to take especially much delight in the beating heart of yours which he feels when he holds you. A few hours later other members return, tell him that they’ve captured the one and Chrollo excuses himself, leaves at least three of his friends with you though. He never tells you what has happened after he returns, seems to dote on you and comfort you oddly more though.

Shalnark

📱The sickening smile on his face is no more as all traces of emotions leave Shalnark’s face, leaving him with a expression void of everything. He just stands there, stares at you with dull and hazy eyes. He might do that for a good minute before the reality crashes fully down on him. Memories scratch at the bottom of his heart, remind him painfully of what will never be anymore. Then the waterworks finally spill out the first tears as Shalnark silently grieves over his lost sweetheart. He should have been the one keeping you safe and protected yet this happened and in that moment of weakness Shalnark can’t help but apologize to your corpse for letting this happen to you. His sweetheart must have been so lonely and afraid in their last moments and he wasn’t even there. You died in fear and you died in vain, he will never be able to see you again. Shalnark cracks mentally permanently when this truth finally sinks in.

📱The blonde tosses heavily around in bed before his eyes finally snap open, wide and brimming with tears. His heartbeat is frenzy and his breaths are quick and shaky, his whole body is lightly trembling. His eyes dart around in the dark room which he recognizes as his own before they land on the side of the bed next to him. He sees your body in the dark and chokes on his own breath for a moment, listens to your own breaths being softly inhaled and exhaled which evokes even more tears, out of relief this time. He doesn’t wake his s/o up but cuddles really close to them, a tight grip around them so he can let their warmth sink in to free himself of this nightmare of his. Shalnark lies awake for hours though as this nightmare makes him queasy due to the sheer amount of minor details he recalls. Was this really just a dream or perhaps more?

📱The spider member gets his answers with the next morning. He’s managed to doze off and wake up in the morning, early enough to witness the disturbed look on your face though. His questions are dodged as you reassure him with a false smile that you just had a nightmare. Obviously it could be a normal nightmare but the news are the final thing that lead Shalnark to piece together everything. You flinch when you hear the glass shatter on the ground as Shalnark stares at his phone with slightly widened eyes. Then his eyes turn to you as he finally asks you what your nightmare was about and if you perhaps dreamt about your death today. Your reaction is a telltale sign, enough to crush Shalnark’s heart again as he realizes that he might have failed to protect you once before. He quickly has to come up with a plan, evacuate you.

📱Even you see that something is off about his smile as it is crooked although today you can’t blame him. The knowledge is bone-chilling that both of you just received and despite Shalnark’s questionable abduction and his delusions, you know that he is absolutely infatuated so you’re slightly scared what he’ll do now. Shalnark tries to reassure you though, gives you a sweet kiss which ends up more needy than it should before he contacts some of the other spiders, asks for help whilst simultaneously doing his research online. He sets a trap carefully after he managed to get information out of you about your death, leaves a few hours later with some of his friends and returns with his grin lightly repaired. Something has been broken though as you come to see the next few weeks where Shalnark is more protective, isolating and more sweet with a broken glimmer in his eyes. You suspect that he feels guilty and a bit insecure about himself.

Dazai Osamu

🤎Dazai breaks down when he sees his sweet angel laying lifeless and limp in front of him, their eyes staring at him with the chilling emptiness of death. His heart just ceases to be when he witnesses the sight and he flinches when he touches their skin only to be met with cold skin yet he still gives them a bone-crushing hug as tears just flow down his face uncontrollably. His darling is gone and with that his purpose in life. He’s absolutely inconsolable as the suffering and sorrow crushes him and infiltrates his heart and mind to fill it only with despair. Everything gets tainted in Dazai’s mind. You were the only good thing in the world for him, if you aren’t there he doesn’t see the need to linger any longer in here either. Life lost all meaning for him. He gives his darling a desperate last kiss, promises them that he’ll follow them so that the two of them can be happy in the afterlife together.

🤎He wakes up shaking and silently crying, tears staining the pillow underneath him as he nearly suffers from a panic attack. A whiff of your smell freezes the shaking though and causes his heart to skip a beat. You’re next to him, you’re alive! Dazai just crawls desperately closer to his darling and embraces them really tightly, letting their warmth and their scent deep in until the shaking gets a bit lighter and he doesn’t feel like suffering from a panic attack anymore. Moments later more tears stream down his face though as the visions of his nightmare haunt him again and clash with the fact that he holds you tightly against him. It’s too much. At one point he lays his head on your chest to listen to your heartbeat and in that night not even the most beautiful music can compare to the steady beating of your heart. Dazai listens the whole rest of the night until the sun cracks through the darkness.

🤎With you waking up and being scared starts the whole mess where you quickly realize that something is wrong with Dazai. From the moment you open your eyes, he’s basically smothering you with affection in a way that exhibits strong paranoia and desperation. It’s a fight to leave the bed and even then Dazai refuses to leave you alone, glues himself to your hip and seems like he might have a small panic attack if you tell him that you want to go somewhere alone. It all comes crashing down on both of you in the late morning though as more and more disturbing similarities pile up which cause Dazai to grow more and more crazed by the minute. Until he snaps and drags you somewhere where he locks you away, tells you that he’ll solve everything and that you don’t have to worry about anything. He’ll protect you this time.

🤎He waits near the place where you originally died, preys on whoever comes at the right time. The tears continue to fall throughout everything no matter how much he wipes them away. Alongside with the deeply settled pain has come indescribable fury and wrath, a beast from older days that appears again now that your life has been in danger and an event that Dazai still can’t fully comprehend. What he understands though is that you’ve most likely died once before. That knowledge is enough to taint his bleeding heart in the darkest shade of black. When he returns to you, you take instinctively a step back when you see the dark and crazed shimmer in his eyes and his lightly twisted smile. The bandages of his arms are died red in blood that isn’t his own. The traumatic event has drastic consequences for you as Dazai locks you permanently away in his home and never lets you leave without him again. With the short loss of you has truly come the realization that he can’t exist without you. He ends up doting on his s/o a lot more after this accident.

Nakahara Chuuya

🟠He hears how his heart shatters into thousands of little pieces before even those broken shards turn to dust as pure and untainted agony and sorrow crushes them mercilessly. Everything good in life stops existing for Chuuya in that moment as darkness clouds everything in his mind and soul. Together with his heart shatters Chuuya’s cocky and arrogant facade though as a guttural and painful roar escapes from the depth of his chest. He breaks down next to your corpse, rivers of hot tears flowing limitlessly down his face as he holds your cold and lifeless body close to his own. You were the one person that really made him feel like a human despite the whole story with Arahabaki, he tried so hard for you. Only to lose you in the end and in that moment Chuuya regrets not having taken you sooner with him. He should have known what would happen otherwise considering his position.

🟠With the harsh impact of his back meeting the ground, Chuuya wakes up, panting and sweating. Tears are still slipping down from his eyes and his heartbeat will most likely need a while to calm down. The only thing Chuuya is hyper focused on in that moment is his darling though and the fact that they peer only moments later worriedly at him from the bed and ask him if he’s fine signals the next emotional breakdown. Chuuya bursts out in another wave of pitiful tears and sobs as he jumps back on the bed and latches himself at you with a bone-crushing hug. Both of you don’t get much sleep that night since Chuuya can’t bring himself to fall asleep anymore and is emotionally distraught for hours and you, secretly afraid to fall asleep again too, need to comfort him throughout his night of weakness. Somehow both of you wind up falling asleep somewhere around the time when the sun has set up.

🟠On that day, Chuuya decides to stay at home. He skips work, unable to leave the house as the image your corpse is still present before his eyes. He clings to you like a leech, showers you with needy kisses. There is no break for you two though, starting from the newspaper that contains information which both of you already have read in that dream of yours and certain things that just happen throughout the day. His rational side is blown to dusts the moment Chuuya pushes you into the car and drives you to the port of the town where he locks you away in the car and leaves only to come back about half an hour later to drive you to his own home where he locks you away. When you ask him what is going on, he promises with a strained voice that he’ll explain everything later. He engulfs you in one last hug, swears to you that he’ll keep you safe and also begs you to not try to leave.

🟠Even if you want, you can’t. Not when a bunch of men with guns suddenly surround the house, apparently there for your protection. All you can do is wait in agony for Chuuya. You start to question if the things he told you about himself are really all true as you don’t understand where all the men suddenly came from. It takes a few hours for Chuuya to come back and you’re unsure how to greet him. That all completely dies down when you notice the splatters of blood on his entire suit and the hateful and fiercely wrathful look in his eyes. You just know that he has killed that murderer of yours in that moment and whilst that itself is already scary enough, especially with all the blood, you never thought that Chuuya would do something like this. It’s after he’s cleaned himself that he tells you the truth that shatters something else for both of you yet Chuuya turns out of desperation delusional, tells you that this is the best way to keep you safe.

Odasaku

🖋️Whatever remains from the meals he consumed throughout the day, he nearly throws it all up when he comes face to face with your corpse and the full weight of it hits him. He falls down on his knees and screams his lungs out for god knows how long. Long enough until his throat starts to hurt and his voice goes horse, that’s when he stops. This can’t be happening! This shouldn’t have happened! You were innocent, you had nothing to do with anything! You shouldn’t have died! Regret and guilt consumes him as he thinks briefly that all of this could have been avoided if he would have just stayed away from you. With his darling gone though, a darker side slowly takes over Odasaku. One where he starts thinking that all this could have been avoided if he would have just taken you. With your death, the good side of him crumbles down as he finally decides thinking more like one who works for the mafia.

🖋️A sheath of sweat surrounds his skin when Odasaku awakes from that terror and he needs to take a few moments and a few deep breaths to calm down a bit. The nausea still remains in his stomach together with the painful clench inside his heart and Odasaku’s first instinct is to call you before he realizes that you two have been living together for a while now and he has stopped separating himself from you. Your form is right next to his and he can hear your breath, telling him that you’re alive. He grows nearly dizzy, falls back into the mattress and turns around so he’s facing your form. He needs a long while where he sorts everything inside his mind out so that he can think somewhat rationally again. He’s come so far in his relationship with you and something inside of him is more than just unwilling to give all of that up. No, the selfish part of him wants to keep you by his side.

🖋️A forlorn and sad haze is in his eyes the next morning when you wake up. He looks disheveled and tired and the darker rings under his eyes tell you that he hasn’t slept well. You didn’t have a very nice sleep with your nightmare either though, something Odasaku questions you about since he noticed your slight jittery reaction upon waking up. He lets it be when you tell him that it was just a simple nightmare though. Odasaku seems off for you and he seems to recognize that too. He’s extremely alarmed for some reason and very stiff, trails very closely to you. He initially thinks that he’s overdoing it but the day proves him wrong eventually. It doesn’t take a genius either to interpret your shocked and terrified reaction either as Oda simply counts one and one together. In that moment, where he understands the truth, he makes a decision that might normally cause him great guilt but is in that moment overshadowed by his paranoia and fear of losing you.

🖋️He ushers you into his own house, both of you tense with you slowly realizing that he has seen the same thing as you did during the night. What you don’t expect is him locking you inside his apartment and begging you with a broken voice to not leave until he’s come back. On that day Odasaku abandons a principal of his together with the dream of writing his book. There is a moment of hesitation, a small spark of doubt. That all is quickly poisoned and corrupted by his ill will and dwelling anger. He’ll abandon his dream if it means that nothing will happen to you and he’s overcome by rage upon thinking that you were already killed once by that person, although Odasaku stays calm. When he comes home later that night, he starts crying for a while though as if grieving over the part of himself he just killed the moment he pulled the trigger.

📖 OPEN BOOK - do they like reading? what's their favourite genre?

He's a nerd. So yes. He tries to keep up with scientific journals and new information wrt his degree and it happens to be just about the only thing he does actually keep up with in the modern day (special interest). He's not averse to fiction though and one of the ways he masks his vampire identity is actually going to an evening book club. I think he probably has a guilty pleasure for detective novels and enjoys Poirot.

👑 CROWN - what does your oc want to be remembered as? why?

Being remembered implies that you're ever going to go away, and he's going to live forever baby!!!!

If he was asked this when he was still alive, he'd probably say his research into herpetology, but nowadays his ideas are a bit more lofty and he'd probably like people to remember him for the time he broke boundaries completely and redefined what is even thought possible. So he definitely can't die right now.

📎 PAPERCLIP - a random fact.

I like to think that he knew Charles Darwin personally due to them being in the same circles at about the same age, and he has a signed first edition copy of On the Origin of Species. Don't ask why it has his name personally signed. It was personally revolutionary to him though, because now Lamarckism was no longer the norm, or, god forbid, theistic evolution.

The Bible records that in ancient times, humans lived for exceptionally long periods with lifespans exceeding 900 years. However, as sin increased, lifespans diminished. Genesis 6:3 says because of sin, man's lifespan was limited to 120 years.

Moses, in his psalms, made an observation that due to sin, the typical lifespan of man was seventy years or eighty for those who were stronger. Even in old age, man’s life was filled with toil and sorrow, ultimately ending in death (Psalm 90:8-10). The Lord Jesus, however, came to address the root cause of this limitation, which is sin.

Through His sacrifice, He provided salvation from sin and made eternal life possible. Eternal life includes “deathlessness.” When you were born again, you passed from death to life (John 5:24). Recall what we read in our theme scripture; it says Jesus abolished death and brought life and immortality to light. To abolish means to do away with, to get rid of, or to cancel. The Lord Jesus cancelled death; He got rid of it and gave us a life that’s superior to death; a life that’s death-proof.

Now you can understand why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:55, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?” The Lord Himself proved that death has no sting or victory when, after three days in the grave, He arose triumphantly back to life. Why then do Christians die? For many, it’s a result of ignorance (Psalm 82:5-7) and also because of the consciousness and fear of death. We’ll learn a bit more about the fear of death in our next study.

You might ask, “Pastor Chris, are you saying we are not supposed to die?” Absolutely! We have the potential to live beyond the confines of earthly limitations. The Bible lets us know that many of us will be alive and physically raptured from the earth when the trumpet sounds (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). The Church needs to grasp and walk in the light of this truth.

The life you have is the God-life, the divine life; it’s not subject to Satan, sickness, disease, death and the corrupting influences of this world. 2 Peter 1:4 says we’re partakers of the divine nature and have escaped the corruption that’s in the world. Death is one of those “corruptions” from which you’ve been extricated. Hallelujah!

I refuse to be bound by the consciousness of death or the limitations of this world. I walk in the fullness of the life and victory that Christ has obtained for me, and I live in health, strength and vitality. Amber is quite loud. She has a slight Chicago accent when she speaks - only slight, living in Philadelphia for 8 years before moving to London means it's barely noticeable, unless she gets mad of course - and her voice is quite soft, almost Disney princess like on some occasions. Her hypothetical voice claim fo animated situations is Aimee Carerro, best known for voicing Adora in She-Ra

📖 OPEN BOOK - do they like reading? what's their favourite genre?

Amber has always been a bookworm! She loves mystery, history, thrillers and horror literature! Basically everything that isn't romance :')

🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?

A loved one in danger most definetly. For example, she nearly got herself killed in Electric Feel due to Sivana threatening Darla

Amber loves having her picture taken and she loves taking photos - especially with her camera (a pale pink polaroid style one)! Her go to pose is either a peace sign, finger guns or the k-pop 'heart' symbol. She tends to enjoy taking photos of scenery or her friends! (sidenote; i have a concept in which marc/steven/jade find polaroid pictures around the flat of amber hanging out with my other ocs that i really should write!)

Amber wears her heart on her sleeve. She acts the same around most people, although she does change her behaviour slightly. She's still polite and reasonable to strangers, but not as intimate as she is to those she's more friendly with!

If you betray Amber's trust - or keep secrets from her without good reason - don't be surprised when she lets go of you. It will take her a while, and she may be conflicted, but it's likely 9 times out of 10 you deserve it. She's not gonna just drop someone for petty reasons (and considering she's friends with Marc 'I'll keep all my emotions right here and then one day I'll die' Spector...)

Amber would like to have a plan for every siutation and would like to know the small details of every encounter and would like to be ahead of the curve... Unfortunately, while she is a planner, 99% of the time the universe decides that's not her place :')

Amber mostly works off a barista's salary, so not much money - minimum wage at most. However, compared to her childhood - where she grew up poor - she's going pretty fine!

Amber likes small, practical gifts... But also makeup, and jewelery and clothes. Those are practical, right? If you consider gift cards or money good gifts she's quite good at gift giving!

She worked as a babysitter basically since she was 13 to when she was 18, and still tutors children on the side if possible. If she didn't care about kids she wouldn't work in that industry. In spite of not being interested in sex/romance, she does want kids/is willing to work in a job with kids!

🔪 KNIFE - how do they react to injury / misfortune befalling their loved ones (significant other, family, friends)? do they put themselves at blame?

Oh God, Amber reacts with anger and wanting to fight the thing that caused their loved ones misfortune/injury. Even if it is the person themselves - anger born of worry. She doesn't put herself at blame, instead blaming the thing that caused the problem... And if it is her that caused the problem, she will yeet herself under the bus :')

👑 CROWN - what does your oc want to be remembered as? why?

If you'd had asked Amber this question two years prior to Decode, she would've said she wanted to be remembered as a hero or savior, because her savior complex is massive. Now? She's not sure if she wants to be remembered as anything. She's probably already going to be remembered as 'the Emissary of the Gods' anyway, so...

Amber's playlist can be found here. Her taste is very eclectic, a mix of 'retro' and modern music, with a very pop feel to it! Her fave artist is Fleetwood Mac, probably closely followed by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers!

Amber is pretty okay at singing. Go-to karaoke song? Edge of Seventeen. Are you surprised? Because I'm not!

Amber tried to play guitar... Key word tried. It's the only thing she's not good at (that and dancing, poor girl has two left feet at the best of times)

Amber is what you would like to call a child prodigy with a photographic memory so she was brilliant at school. Her best subjects were English and History, and she didn't have a worst subject. Her favourite subject however was English

Considering that Decode was originally an AU of Electric Feel before it became the Emissary Verse... I think that it would work! Amber would fit into other comic book/superhero stories, which is why I had a concept of her being 'interdimensional pen pals' with Mark from Invincible! She wouldn't fit into the world of the Boys though

Amber puts equal value on science and art, while she prefers science to art as a subject. She believes both have merits and flaws, especially regarding how science can be poorly combined with faith or not at all (people who say science and religion have no intertwining factor anger Amber unironically). However, both are primarily tools to succeed!

Amber's photographic memory also makes her a fast learner. She would be considered 'well educated', having reached teritary education, but she still thinks she has a lot to learn. 30.The king spake, and said, IS NOT THIS GREAT Babylon ,THAT I HAVE BUILT FOR THE HOUSE OF THE KINGDOM BY THE MIGHT OF MY POWER, AND FOR THE HONOUR OF MY MAJESTY?

31.While the word was in the king's mouth,THERE FELL A VOICE FROM HEAVEN, SAYING, O king Nebuchadnezzar, TO THEE IT IS SPOKEN;The kingdom is departed from thee.

So i read(or is it red?) fietan and chrollo sharing a darling and I thought wow this relationship is tense why not add more tension by having the darling prefer fietan?(take your time:]

Darling prefers Feitan over Chrollo

📖☠️The one who probably ends up being most surprised by this is Feitan himself because even if he’d rather die than admit it himself, he seriously thought that his darling would prefer Chrollo and that it made him feel hurt in a way. Because Chrollo is a seductive and charming man who expresses his affections in a far gentlemanly way than Feitan could ever hope to do. The short man is simply not fully able to show the dark love he holds, even if by now even he has realized that hurting his s/o doesn’t bring him any joy anymore. But he will never fully get over his struggle to fully embrace his emotions, it’s embarrassing. Chrollo on the other hand has his love fully accepted and wants to win his darling’s love as well.

📖☠️To say that he is shocked and surprised is an understatement, Feitan is beyond all those emotions the first time Chrollo asked if he could spend some alone time with them only for them to suddenly cling to Feitan’s arm. Feitan just had a genuinely confused look whilst Chrollo was quick to understand, humming slightly in realization. It’s somewhat hard to believe for Feitan to trust his s/o after they told him that they liked him more than Chrollo since Feitan did ask them afterwards. He had his suspicions, just didn’t believe that they would actually be true. Questioning your sanity is definitely something he will do, after all he’s the one who tortured and scarred you for life yet you like him more?

📖☠️For all the respect he holds for Chrollo, there is this feeling of relief and exhilaration to hear such pleasant news, though he tried to hide his joy with some of his grumbling and his blush with the coat that is anyways hiding part of his face. Yet it’s somewhat visible that something has changed afterwards since Feitan appears to be in a genuinely better mood, reassured after having had a talk with his s/o. It’s still out of smartness and his respectfulness for the boss that Feitan never admits it out loud or shows it too much. Deep down he might just be a bit worried how exactly Chrollo will handle this all.

📖☠️In a way Chrollo really just admires the fact that even after all Feitan has done, you still stick loyally to him and prefer him. Do not expect him to be happy with it either, Chrollo is a possessive guy and wants his darling to love him too, at the very least on the same level as they love Feitan, maybe even a bit more. Feitan is aware of Chrollo’s wish as well because even if he stays composed and merely gives a small smile whenever you stick closer to Feitan, the torturer knows still what his boss is feeling. It doesn’t help much to only increase the tension, silent and thick yet both hold back out of respect and because it’s pretty much made into a rule by now that they shall not harm each other to have their darling for themselves.

📖☠️The black-haired man feels often just a bit torn apart to say the least, genuinely being able to be nicer to his darling due to him being the favorite and loving it yet also being aware that if they were to ignore Chrollo completely, the man will lose his patience and do something…rather forcefully to gain their feelings. So Feitan ends up pushing his darling often away from himself and into Chrollo’s arms when things seems to be too much in his favor. He has pretty much no other choice as long as Chrollo still decides to be friendly, not to mention that Feitan really does owe his boss a lot. The fact that the leader decides to share in the first place because Feitan found the s/o in the first place is the best proof for that and just as much as Chrollo is a man of his words, Feitan will be the same with Chrollo. He will push his darling to Chrollo if that is what was agreed on.

📖☠️Chrollo will use manipulation on his darling to gain their fondness as well. He knows that Feitan wouldn’t really dare to use the current advantage he has in regards of your feelings against him and as long as that stays the same, he wouldn’t resort to methods where he will have to separate Feitan from you for a little while so you learn to depend on him and love him a bit more. Look at it from one way or another, at the end of the day Chrollo can and will count on the undeniable fact that Feitan will help him with the current problem. Feitan is loyal after all and he wouldn’t want to risk Chrollo using more gaslighting methods than he already does anyways on the s/o.

That is, the love for God was not equally commensurate with the duty to the world, and so the worldly forces attacked, and God did not come to help because people segmented God Himself into two parts—the Creator and the created.

The country suffered economically, militarily, and even in its concept of spirituality. Yet, in its aspiration for the transcendent, though it was not conceived properly in an integral fashion (it was segmented because it was separated from the world's existence), the intensity of the longing for the transcendent was such that its soul is still surviving, though economically, and from the point of view of defense forces, it is not possessed of much that can be admired.
