About the best way I can think to open them with a general gist enough for people to get on? There will be a list of f/os and s/is below, then the rules or things you can go for!

He goes off of ⚫ for now, tho!! Though he will not give out too much of himself for who he is until together we're ready for him to, you can ask him whatever you like!

The "Dawson group," for now no collective name, but any dwelling they're under is dubbed the Dawson Dome.

There are some secret f/os, yes, but those may or may not really be open to questions if not before on the blog. . They may ghost, get referenced on, or other things, but because they're secret, there is no way to easily do some of those other secret f/os for the moment :"0 but you got these guys!!

They both have their own "canon" lore, ones not associated with selfshipping but can generally apply or be adapted to. Know they are still work in progress and so are their stories with the f/os, so there may be changes over time or something :0

In some universes, Moe does not know Roe exists :0 but Roe knows about Moe. .

There are three sort of directions one can go of giving them letterboxes:

"Canon" mode.

This is like. . the selfship canon. F/Os on this blog are not exactly like their true source canon selves, tho. This is the version of the f/o and s/i or ocs, in the f/o's source world :0 You can give questions on the meta things of this also.

Tumblr Blob mode.

Everyone in one place, they are answering questions on the blog :0 Kind of hybrid between meta and "canon" sometimes, but this is to them all together!!

Meta mode.

The f/os in the sense of like. . how they live with Ob! I pretend they exist and live as invisible friends in my brain :)) they're aware they're not real, they only exist for me to cope or be happy and know much of me as the person who I really am but also know the ocs I've got. (the ocs, other than Roe who breaks the fourth wall, don’t really have the "pretending theyre in my brain thing" going on, tho)

There are only going to be some basic rules for the obscure inbox so they'll go like this:

Know the characters are f/o versions of the character. While they are very based on canon, there may be some tweaks to them for either sake of my comfort, enjoyment, or just because of how I perceive them. No, they will not be perfectly in character, especially not the mean ones lol. The mean ones would probably kill me, but this is selfshipping, so they love me 👉🏻👈🏻 Not every question has to be centered around the selfship theyre done for tho.

Know that most of those f/os are villains. Some of them might be snarky or mean, but think of it as roleplay. These characters are fictional so they're only responding through the interpretation of the f/o I have would respond. Though I'm not trying to be mean to you!! They're not personal responses from the Ob. Roe can also be a bit short or. . Flat-toned, but that's not me being mean either. They're here for sillies, lore, and cool things, not for some kind of dumb indirect communication or getting into fights on real-life things. They will try to be separated from real personal relationships.

Entertainment in bullying them is ok tho. Go pick a fight with them if you want lol. Get interesting. The only one you might want to be careful bullying is Moe, the tender baby ahh. You will make her cry lol.

If you're not cool with one of the f/os or characters on here, then don’t go to the box for them. No one gives the effort to deal with that. Genuinely not cool notes are going to be ignored or only one-offed with some silly retort. None of us are going to bother with those letterboxes lol. Tho Ob struggles with recognizing the difference on things of genuine offense/unkindness or joking, so they may not answer something before certain. :( You can DM for those or give /j somewhere if you don't see something answered for a while tho!!

Ob doesn't mind sharing :0 You're welcome to leave letterboxes from other versions of an f/o, other source characters, or anything else. Doubles would be goofy chaos, love that. Our ocs should be like. . besties. /silly

On roleplay, yes, you can give asks intended to be from other characters or roleplay blogs!! OOC comments or questions go in brackets or tags or something.

Anon should be enabled, but if theyre not, let me know. Or if you need to send something but prefer to be anon, I can edit out things on a screenshot for the response.

Ob likes to draw for things, but they wont be able to every time. Don't take it personally, i probably just couldnt think of something or didnt have the time or energy to give a doodle. Ob'll try to draw sometimes tho, or if you would request something for the box, they'll do their best :0

For those freaks with freaky questions (/j) or comments as jokes or general ponderings, those are ok too. They just will be tagged with the bone tags:

it's their entire relationship in all its stages in one song. don't tell me people didn't wonder about what exactly franz and ivo are up to and might have thought their relationship to be weird. they're cops, they're colleagues, they have girlfriends, they are boyfriends - all at once. but also they have fights (i'm not even going to get into the whole thing that is "Der Tod ist unser ganzes Leben" and "Die Wahrheit"), and they cannot cope with it. they need each other. and then there's me imagining ivo sitting at the piano, playing love songs and thinking (as well as singing) about franz.

if it makes u feel any better, when i was a kid i was obsessed with using all the big words that i knew bc i thought it made me sound smart . & also kids naturally tend to be very melodramatic so i dont think its that unrealistic for them to use big words in that kind of way depending on how old they are !!

That’s what my professor said too when I told her that that’s why I struggle writing kids lol The assignment was to mimic the style of Goodnight Moon though so for that one it was kinda supposed to use simple language hence my struggle 😔

But you’re so right about the words. I did the same thing bc I was a big reader as a kid. I will simply only ever write pretentious little readers so I can use my silly little (big) words 😌
