Pet peeves / dealbreakers: Plotted threads that run only two or three responses can be frustrating. "Dead-end" responses that don't take a thread anywhere are particularly exhausting. I don't mind if it happens every so often, but I've unfollowed people over it before when it's every single interaction. I'm not interested in confronting other writers over to force them to change for my sake, but it's enough to tell me we probably won't be good writing partners.

Fluff, angst, or smut: Everything and anything as the mood or situation calls for it! Smut is probably the rarest of the bunch because PWP doesn't interest me so much these days. UST is just so satisfying hehe.

Plots or memes: Smatterings of both! I love fleshing out character dynamics and I like longer running threads too. Even better if both short prompts and plotted stuff share the same continuity. *chef's kiss*

Long or short replies: Depends on what I'm given and the situation at hand. As an average, my sweet spot is ±350 words or so. I'm not overly concerned about length of replies, but I'm an idiot and try to match anyway ahah.

Best time to write: Whenever my brain lets me run stream of consciousness and I've got a general shape of an entire response in my head. This usually means I have to start and stop a lot on replies until I flesh out something I like. Aaand sometimes I get impatient and just try to get stuff out there. We don't talk about that.

Are you like your muse(s): In some ways, I think so! I'm generally optimistic and kinda dumb, but I try to be smart about the things that count. As for the other two, well... Haha.

I just realized something.

12 Leo from what I remember in canon has cried like four times.

He cried when his father died the first time.

He cried when his father died the second time.

He cried during that nightmare where he'd watched his little brothers be brutally slaughtered.

And then he cried during the Mutant Apocalypse when the mutagen bomb was gonna go off and he had shoved his brothers away to safety.

This leads me to believe that 12 Leo isn't much of a crier. It probably takes a lot to make him cry and break down fully because he's either always bottling it up inside or he doesn't want to appear weak in front of his brothers. But that just makes him crying that much more impactful because seeing this strong and confident leader break down into tears is a heart shattering sight.

And I'm betting that because 12 Leo doesn't cry often his brothers get extremely protective and hostile whenever they see him in tears. Like I'm talking about full on "Who did it???? Who made you cry?!?!? TELL ME WHO DID IT SO I CAN BEAT THEIR ASS INTO NEXT YEAR-" kind of ordeal. Because if 12 Leo's crying then they know damn well that something is up and they'd be out for blood.

Okay, so now that . . . enough of . . . the paperwork has been squared away for it to be official, I think I can make my announcement:

I've been accepted into culinary school!

I'll be earning a diploma in bakery arts and business! Classes start on the 10th of next month!

I've been considering culinary school for about a year, but my pride kept getting in the way -- getting my BA hospitalized me once and started some very unhealthy coping mechanisms in me, and a part of me felt like all that suffering would've been for nothing if I didn't use the degree somehow.

But my very unsuccessful job search as finally made me cave to the realization that my degree is obsolete in the local job market -- but I've been teaching myself how to bake and decorate for three years now and I really enjoy it!

So, why not?

It happened kinda suddenly (I called the school to ask about costs and next thing you know I'm being walked though the sign-up process) but I'm super excited!

Just wanted to share some good news with you guys ----- fuckin' finally.
