Rules: do’s & don’ts

There is almost no rule for what is or isn't allowed on this blog, we are accepting of basically all and any content. When something is not allowed there is a good reason for it, so please try not to break the rules.

What you can not post

Anything too explicit. Detailed NSFW starters, graphic GIFs or pictures used as decoration and the like. If you really want to share a detailed vision of the scene that will be acted out in the roleplay, send a link to google docs, carrd, another post, etc that people can check out. This is primarily about smut but it applies to gore as well. To be super clear, smut and gore are not banned from the blog, you can request any kink/situation you like, but you will need to discuss the details with your partners. For example, asking for a BDSM roleplay is fine, writing out details of the smut scene in your request is not. This is to avoid possible reports based on the NSFW ban.

Wait 24 hours before submitting again from the moment the ask is posted. You can post ads requesting different RPs, just not the same ask. This is to avoid cluttering.

It goes without saying, this is RP only. You can't send requests for dating or similar.

You can only send ads through asks or submissions. If you need help with those I'll be happy to lend a hand, but don't send your requests via DMs. If the inbox is closed it means it's full/I'm not active, please be patient and, again, don't try to get your ad in through DMs. I won't be able to post your ad from DMs.

That's it, pretty easy, right?

What you can post

Generally, anything not mentioned above is allowed. However, since some things get asked often, I will make a general list of things that are allowed for your convenience.

RPF is allowed. 

Discord servers and other groups are allowed. 

Things related to RPing, even if not strictly roleplay-seeking, are allowed. Other roleplay finders, RP resources, and even questions about roleplaying are all allowed. 

Minors are allowed. 

Dead dove content is allowed.

What you should/shouldn't do

Your ask will be published even if you don't abide by these rules. However, keeping this in mind will make for a better experience for everyone involved.

Be as clear as possible about the fandom and other relevant information. I can't tag it if you don't tell me where these blorbos come from. If the fandom has alternate names/acronyms include everything!

If you're going to include more than 20 fandoms in your search, split the post into two separate requests. There's a maximum of 30 tags allowed on a post, out of which only the first 20 will show up in searches. If you include more, the rest will go untagged/will not show up in searches.

Don't censor triggers. It just interferes with people that have these words blocked. Don't write inc*st, write incest.

Miscellaneous other stuff

I am not the police, your parents, or HR. If you have a disagreement with your RP buddy I can't intervene to solve it for you, nor can I put them in time out. Unpleasant things happen online, learn to block and move on. Please don't message me - or worse, send anon asks - with callouts for certain users and ask them to block/warn others.

If you feel stuck and the blank page is daunting, you can use this form as a base. Feel free to fill out everything, just some of it, add items I didn't include, or just send your own personal ad.

POLICY REMINDERS

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since we've last made one of these, but as we've had some new members and, unrelated, we've been seeing some mistakes made repeatedly, we just wanted to make a post to touch on some of our policies and expectations!

MASTERLIST

When sending a message, make sure you include all information relevant to the type of ask you're sending! You can find all of the relevant information under the related sections of the forms page!

If you are reapplying with a character who had personal housing during their previous stay and would like them rehoused in that housing on acceptance, please make sure to include that request in your application ask along with the name of that housing and how many bedrooms it had.

If your account has yet to be accepted by the masterlist, please do not follow the masterlist! Wait until your acceptance message has been posted first.

APPLICATIONS

Please keep in mind that the ABOUT section on your application must be at least three sentences, and the PERSONALITY section must be at least ten (fifteen for original characters).

Make sure to include your CANON DOUBLE section as well as whether you do or do not permit them. If you need a refresher on what does or doesn't count as a canon double, please look at this post!

If you have two characters that you would like to apply on the same blog (like a character and their vocal animal companion), all you need to do is make two application pages and link them on your blog! Doing this will take two slots, and both characters will require their own unlocks however!

GALAXY BLOG SUBMISSIONS

When ranking up, making a purchase, or claiming an event reward through the Galaxy blog, please make sure to include where on your blog we can find your threads and / or Star count. Usually you can just let us know what to add to the end of your URL to access that page (like "/tracker" for example).

If you are requesting an unlock for your character, please make sure to be as clear and concise as possible about what you'd like unlocked or upgraded! This lessens the chance of your ask being sent back for clarification!

TAGS

We have two tags for open posts (posts anyone can reply to): "#isola mini" and "#isola open"! The mini tag is for short opens ranging from a sentence to two paragraphs. Anything longer than that should be tagged with the open tag!

Rather than constantly adding new posts to the mini and open tags, we ask that you check out the tag yourself to see if anything that is already in there that you could reply to first. These tags only work if the posts placed inside actually get replies!

Likewise, posts in these tags should not be personal starters. If your starter is for a specific character, please tag them and don't place the thread in one of these tags.

We also have two tags for getting interest in threading: '#isola rp ad' and '#isola perm call'. The regular RP ad tag is self explanatory, where you like it and someone will make you a starter! The perm call tag is used when you're looking for specific or long term interactions that may be pre-plotted.

General etiquette for liking regular rp ads includes not liking over cap (if the post says they're capping it at 3 likes and it already has 3, don't like it) and not liking ads that are weeks old unless the mun has indicated they're okay with either!

OTHER

Please make sure that all NSFW content is both tagged and placed under a readmore. This not only includes sexual content, but also content that may be considered sensitive like gore.

You're only allowed to make three OOC posts in a single sixty minute period. This includes general OOC posts, RP ads, and image reblogs among others! The exceptions to this rule are during Meme Fridays, Mundays, or if the account is new and just setting up!

While we encourage member run events like dances and parties for the characters to attend between official group events, we ask that you ask the masterlist for permission first and only post this event after receiving permission for scheduling reasons! We could be running an event soon or another member might be running one, after all!

I don’t do exclusives. For me I find it takes a lot of the opportunities away to get to know more cool people. If you want to make me an exclusive for something…go right ahead, but I won’t do the same. You’ll simply stay my partner. I want to be able to interact with everyone. That being said, I do mains! That doesn’t really mean anything other than your blog would be the first I tag if I see something that reminds me of our muses, that sorta thing.

I play my characters the way I want to play them, the way I interpret them. So if you don’t like how they’re played, that’s fine, but I’m not likely to change it.

If you send IC memes please specify the muse, since…well, I have the whole show.

I’m of age so I do smut but nothing too-too graphic. It will be tagged of course.

My threads are for my PARTNER only. Or partners if it’s a threeway. Please do not reblog them. You can like em, you can use the little reply button to say something–if you really want to talk about something that’s happening in them shoot me a message-but do not reblog unless you are said partner. C:

For the love of God, don’t hound me. I’m aware I can take a while to reply, but I have a lot of threads usually at the same time and some I have more muse for than others. Please don’t link me to our thread, please don’t say “it’s your turn” or some sort of variation of passive aggressive harassment. You aren’t going to make me respond faster. You are just going to spark my anxiety and make me resent our rp. If it’s been four days feel free to message me–not four hours.

Unless you’re a canon character my muse needs to get to know you a bit. C: So it’s unlikely you can just pop up to one of my muses, never having met, like ‘hi, how you been?’ and not have them be like “who da fuck are you"

Shipping

Shipping will mainly be thread-dependent. If you feel like our muses may mesh, go for it!

I will not tolerate hate for what I ship. I don’t need to be told I’m shipping something unhealthy because chances are I’ll state it’s unhealthy and I by no means condone dating a psychopath in real life. Hate will be deleted and blocked.

When it comes to OC ships and any ship really, ship needs chemistry. Do not force a ship onto my muses. They need to get to know each other, and this mainly applies to OC ships–not so much the pr-established characters in the show. If I already ship it, I’m down to jumping straight into a shipping thread.

Crossovers

I am mildly less selective with crossovers since this show is literally…all about crossing over into other media. I’m still selective but not as much. For my own comfort I won’t be rping with characters from the Sonic franchise.

Triggers and Tagging

I know very little about triggers myself and what people consider a trigger. IF you want something tagged you’ll have to ask. I’ll be clueless otherwise, but I will tag all ships. And the basic gore and blood and such. Be aware of the fact I have bad memory problems. If I forget to tag something you asked me to tag I’m sorry, it wasn’t on purpose.

This is an insanely dark show and there will be a lot of blood and gore and horror. There will be torture and killing talk, but it will still be tagged.

Mun Notes

I have serious memory problems. Like, really bad due to a combo of illnesses. Cut me some slack, I’m going to forget rules and probably certain triggers if I’m not used to tagging them. You have no ida how many friggin rule pages I’ve read on this blog. I’ll do my best but I’m going to forget, and probably more than once. It’s not my fault, I’m trying my hardest.

I do not do passcodes. For some reason they make me…severely anxious and I don’t know why. If we rp, I’ve read your rules, rest assured. If you really really depend on a passcode…well, we probably won’t be rping then. ;-; sorry.

I’m a physically disabled person who’s online rather…all the time because I can’t work really. So rp is like all I got going on right now as I work on my animation portfolio at home.

What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?

Hm! I won't say it here, because I don't want to give the wrong impression. I will say I do have a few OTPs! My close friends/besties already know my bias!

What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?

Excluding the big NO-NO (r*pe, non-con, underage sex, and etc.), I'm pretty open and willing to try a variety of things for shipping. It can go from fluffy/playful to angsty next. On that note, I am also open to exploring toxic ships/red flags as well. :3

How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?

As someone who RP's muses who are either in the three digits or immortals, I can safely say as long as they are both ADULTS who are consenting, all is good. I will say NO if our muses have a parent/child bond like Muse A has raised Muse B since they were a kid, or anything similar to that.

Are you selective when shipping?

In general, it's a yes.

Mostly because I don't get home until the evening and by then my energy is pretty low. It takes time for me to sit down and focus on tumblr replies. Too many things happening can feel overwhelming for me, especially if I think about making sure shipping with the same muses are different/varied. It hasn't happened yet as my activity levels here are random! But I am thinking it about now and rjrbrjrhrje Y e a h. That is why I made the shipping rule for new people who are following me the first time.

Otherwise, if we're already friends, chances are we already went feral about the characters/ship. I don't mind going straight into pre-established ship or RPing (plotting) how they got together. I'm not picky in that regard.

How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?

I don't think I have reached that point on this site. If I do, I would say the moment they start stripping while kissing and getting handsy with each other. Maybe there's touching the private parts. At that point, as I try to follow my own rules, I would probably move the full NSFW into DMs/IMs.

Who are other muses you ship your muse with?

Uh. For reasons, I'll keep this short and sweet:

Yes! It's surprisingly refreshing thinking of each ship being it's own thing and not a bunch of connected events. <3 I definitely enjoy the dynamics of each ship too!

I say ship more-or-less than ship-obsessed. I don't actively seek out people to ship. Also it's too much for me to handle checking too many things happening at once. So, I'm usually committed to a few ships and if something develops naturally, or I feel something is happening? Yeah, I'll ship. :3

Finally, how does one ship with you?

I would say just be direct and ask if we can ship our muses together. I will say "yes" most of the time, especially if we have been plotting in the DMs and have a few IC already). If not, then yes I would like to discuss it first and get some IC interactions going. I always have a meme tag for a bunch of memes I've reblogged to break the ice, or starters if you prefer that!

Because, the more we talk about our muses dynamics and each other, I am more likely to fall in love and turn feral! I will be 100% on board shipping them! Like moreso if it's a character I am neutral about it's a BIG WIN because YOU made me love them!

Hello! Welcome, this is a blog I've created to curate inspiration for Muzan Kibutsuji. But I am open to interactions, so I may dip my hands in some writing for him as well.

My portrayal of Muzan is quite canon divergent and based on equal parts headcanon and canon material.

Thank you for your compliments and reading my automail posts but they are not studies. They're headcanon posts for a roleplay blog.

I had to start labeling my posts differently when it got deeper into me running my blog because even when I wrote 'please do not reblog' in the tags people did it any way and I just gave up. Automail part 3 starts like this

and it's still been reblogged without permission.

So my posts were not meant to be 'studies' but more over, headcanon posts analyzing what my muse is going through. They're not the be-all-end-all posts and/or claiming to be 100% accurate and/or apply to every version of Ed there is.

I even wrote the following in the bottom of the corner of his recovery timeline in part 2:

but those posts are my personal headcanon for my muse only. they've been reblogged and used by other muses countless times without my permission. The "Let's Talk About" series of posts on my blog are far less studies and much more headcanon for my personal take on Edward. I just have a habit of taking canon material and behaviors, etc apart to the last detail. I do this with my other muses too. With Ed I tend to draw from all sources of official material - not just the manga - that's why they're my personal headcanon.

Its just that when automail part 1 blew up it did so, so quickly there was no way to mitigate the damage. It got WAY outside the RPC and while I am flattered and honored that everyone took it it so well - they're not studies. They're headcanon.

So since this is an RP blog and speaking for someone else's muse is considered 'godmodding' and 'metagaming', I haven't put a drop of thought into Lan Fan's automail because she's not muse. In the land of the RPC it's not my job to tell other people how their muses function, its that writer's job to tell me. So even starting to think about how Lan Fan's automail works or effects her feels both "against the rules" and "rude" to me.

Updated my Rules recently; there are a few new additions, so I'm going to copy/paste them here for ease of reading! If you don't feel like going through every single line to see what's new, the main section that's new is the "Disclaimers" section at the bottom. Basics:

Mun is 24. This is an 18+ blog.

Please note that if I can’t see what age bracket you’re in anywhere on your page, then I’m not taking a chance. You don’t have to disclose your age to me, but if I don’t see at least something that says you’re an adult, or over the age of 18 in some way, then I’m not going to follow back, and will softblock you. If you follow again, I will hard block you.  

RP etiquette applies. No godmodding, no metagaming, etc. Mun is not muse. Don’t assume your muse can automatically beat Tim in a fight. There’s more on combat below, but just be fair, and plot it with me beforehand.

This blog is selective and mutuals-only. That said, I’m very likely to follow back/follow first. If you don’t follow me back in a week or two, I’ll unfollow again.

If I ever follow you a second time (or more times after that because I have memory issues and I’m not here often enough to remember urls well [I am so sorry]), I promise that I’m not trying to make you follow; it’s likely because I forgot about the first/previous time. Combat between muses is going to come up often on this blog given the muse and source material. If a thread starts to go in that direction, I require that we plot out the fight before proceeding, so that we can work together to write a scene that both goes the way we need it to for plot reasons, AND goes the way we want it to for fun reasons. The only exception to this is people I’ve written with for long enough that I feel we will not accidentally step on each other’s toes during a fight.

Disclaimers:

I do not and will never ship Tim with Bruce, Dick, Jason, Cass, Duke, or Damian. If you write batcest, I don’t care, but I will not follow you. If you follow me, I’m likely to soft or hard block. The only exception to this is multimuse blogs who have muses I want Tim to interact with, or blogs that have a clear line of separation between batcest and batfamily interactions. I will be HIGHLY selective about this, though.

If you do not make it clear on your blog that you ship batcest, and then we become mutuals, and I see you suddenly start writing batcest, I will softblock you. It is not personal; I just don’t want to read that stuff on my own personal dash. I just ask for honesty. Please don’t trick me into following you; tumblr rp follower counts are not that important.

For full transparency: I do think the pro/anti debate is stupid. Those words are thrown around willy-nilly to vilify people or virtue signal, and I will not entertain that discourse on this blog. In my humble opinion, anyone can write whatever they want in fandom spaces, and I just would hope that tags are used appropriately, so that people can curate what they read or view. I personally could not care less what another writer ships; if there’s stuff I don’t wanna see, I’ll just not look for it, and I won’t follow people who write it. Simple as that.

You’ll see it in my bio too, but I want to address it here as well: I actively dislike fanon, and it will have no place in my writing of Tim. I don’t care if your muse draws from fanon—you do you—but don’t be shocked if my Tim acts surprised or confused by fanon assumptions of him (ex: if your muse brings Tim coffee to drink, he will be very confused as to why that was the choice. Tim Drake is not a coffee drinker). I am not going to gatekeep your experience with comics, and I am never going to send you anything that might make you feel bad for how you write your character. I love everyone’s interpretations, and I like seeing different takes on them! I just think it’s courteous to put this note here to be fully open and honest.

Rules and other things

This page is for my rules and policies.  Rules are mostly what I expect out of you.  Policies are things I do personally when it comes to roleplaying and running this tumblr account.  I know it’s a bit long and intimidating, but I promise it’s not as bad as it looks and I’m not like super strict about these or anything!  Most of these are just the same rules most roleplayers follow.

I do not expect anyone to remember these rules 100 percent forever.  There are a lot of them here, and I know when you RP with a lot of people it can be difficult to remember everyone’s rules.  I do appreciate you taking the time to read them and I do hope for some understanding of them upon initial contact.

Rules:

1. If you want to RP with me, just send me a message!  I’d appreciate it if you told me a bit about your muse (This can include sending a link to your about page), a bit about yourself and make sure to mention you are interested in roleplaying!  I’ll make sure to read your rules before responding.

2. I’m selective, but not mutual exclusive.  I know side blogs exist and all that, plus I don’t always see new followers.

3. Please do not force ships to happen.  I prefer for them to happen naturally.

4. No godmodding without talking to me first.  I know sometimes this kind of thing just sort of has to happen, but I would prefer we talk about it first.

5. I don’t mind a little bit of spelling and grammar misuse, but please try your best to use proper spelling and grammar

6. I generally prefer to stick to the Doctor’s cannon past.  Not a big fan of long lost wife/husband plots or things like that.

7. Please remind me about threads if I don’t get to them within 1 week.  This one is important because I do sometimes miss notifications from Tumblr regarding threads and although I do have a thread tracker, I only actually double check to make sure I’ve replied to everything once every two weeks or so.  The main except for this would be of course if I’m on a temporary hiatus, which I track here.  

8. I’m perfectly fine dropping threads as needed or as desired, but please message me to let me know so that I can remove it from my thread tracker!

9. There are occasionally mature themes on this blog.   I only RP with people who are 18+.  I will check your profile for this and ask if it’s not there.

10. I prefer ask box for IC communication and fanmail/chat for OOC communication.  When we first start interacting, let me know if you check for your chat messages or not, since I’ve noticed some people don’t use them.

11.  I prefer roleplaying through threads and not asks.  What this means, is if you send me an ask, and we decide to turn it into an RP, I would prefer you reblogged my reply instead of sending a second ask.  I’m perfectly okay as well if you decide to make a text post with an ask instead, although please do not expect me to do such a thing since I’m a bit lazy and just reblogging the ask is so much easier.  I don’t notice much of a difference anyway.

12. Multi-muse accounts, I prefer to RP with one muse and stick to that muse through all roleplays.  Please don’t start changing muses on me because that gets confusing.  This also applies to blogs with different verses.  I do prefer to stick with the same verse most of the time to keep things from getting too confusing for me.  It also helps develop the relationship between muses more and I value that a lot.  I just feel like this leads to better stories.

13. I typically try to only follow people who are interested in RPing with me AND/OR Doctor Who related blogs.

14.  If you respond to a closed RP thread I have with someone else, I will probably block you.  There are no warnings.

15. If you spam up my inbox in an inappropriate matter (including but not limited to ads, anon hate, etc.) I can and will block you.

16. Feel free to message me anytime about anything.  If we are already RPing but for some reason your muse randomly feels like talking to mine or interacting, feel free to tag me in a starter or send something through ask.  Not feeling much muse, but you, the mun, are a bit bored and just want someone to talk to?  Feel free to send me a chat message.  I’m here to interact and I’d love to hear from you both IC and OOC.

17. Communication is key with me.  If I’m doing something that bothers you, let me know.  If you want to drop a thread or stop interaction, let me know.  If you want to start something new or different, let me know.  If you aren’t going to be on for a bit or want to respond to a certain start or post, let me know.  I am not a mind reader.  If you need something from me, please let me know.  

18. I generally avoid pregnancy threads.  I’ve got nothing against them except for the fact that they are way overdone and have become generally boring to me because of that.  It also just doesn’t seem like a situation Eleven would find himself in generally, especially given my headcannons for him.

19. When responding to my starter calls, please make sure I’m aware what muse and what blog the starter is for!  Goes especially for multimuse blogs and side blogs.

20. Please do not like my starter calls and/or send memes or send or do anything RP related with me if you are not a RP blog.  If you are a personal blog you are welcome to follow and read my RPs, and like those and reblog my other content but having personal blogs like my starter calls really just fills up my notifications and it’s a bit annoying.  If you want to RP and you are a personal blog, make sure you follow all my other rules and just send me a message.  If you are a personal blog and you have an RP side blog, that’s fine, just specify.  This rule isn’t intended at you.  I’ve had a lot of actual personal blogs like my starter calls lately with no intention of RP and I’m not going to have it.  This is a blockable offense.

21.  I do RP with multiples of the same muse and do not do exclusives.  If you want to make me your exclusive Eleventh Doctor, that’s fine, I don’t really mind (although I also would not encourage that because there’s a ton of other great Eleventh Doctors out there!) however I enjoy doing different threads and different relationships with muses that might be similar so I won’t be doing any exclusivity at all.

My Policies, about roleplaying with me and about how I run this tumblr:

1. I do tag triggers and I do tag nsfw content.  It’s all hidden under the tag “nsfw” (This does include blood, core, etc.).  I am not always the best about tagging other replies however.  I do not use a read more.

2. I track #TheDoctorNumber11, however if you tag me in something, I do prefer you also send me a link in a message in case it doesn’t show up.

3. I do regular reminder messages to let people know that they owe if they haven’t replied in a week or longer.  This usually happens on Saturdays, although can be as late as Sundays, once every two weeks and I try to only send two messages before I stop mentioning it in case the first message is missed.  Tumblr sometimes messes up notifications and all that.  If you do not want me to message you about threads, let me know!

4. I’m generally willing to RP with you at any point during the Doctor’s time line, but I usually prefer later in his time line.

5. This is not strictly a RP blog.  While it is an RP blog, I will reblog things that aren’t related to RP or Doctor Who occasionally and I do occasionally make ooc posts.  Some people are bothered by this.  I suggest not following if you don’t wish to see any ooc content.  I do try and tag it with “#notdoctorwho”.

6. I will sometimes reblog my own stuff at different hours of the day to make sure it’s seen.  This is usually stuff related to the blog and I try to make sure I tag it “#reblogging for emphasis” so you can filter it out as desired.

7. I do like to get to know people ooc while roleplaying and I try to communicate regularly.  I believe that communication between roleplay partners is vital, and you should expect chat messages from me occasionally just to say hello.

8. Slightly related to the above post, I’ll sometimes tag partners in pictures, gifs, images or video of their muses if I happen to see such things while browsing tumblr.  Just kind of my way of showing I care I suppose?  Anyway, if this annoys you, let me know and I’ll stop.

9. I do have a job, so my work schedule sometimes makes replies difficult.  I generally try to get at least one reply to every thread every week (Usually two or three times a week), using the queue.

10.  Just because my tumblr is posting things doesn’t mean I’m online.  I schedule posts and use my queue a LOT and you should expect that I may not be online a lot.

11.  Please, never worry about length when RPing with me.  I promise I won’t judge you for it.  Right off the bat, I know my replies won’t always meet your’s in length.  Sometimes mine might be longer.  Sometimes it might be shorter.  It all depends on my mood and what makes sense with what’s going on in the thread.  Sometimes you’ll get a really long reply from me, but then your next reply from me will be really short.  Sometimes it’s the other way around.  I don’t expect you to match me, and you probably shouldn’t expect me to try and match you.  Length is irrelevant, it’s the quality of the reply that matters, and sometimes a short reply can get more across than a longer one might.  So I will not expect a specific length of reply out of you at any given point, and you probably shouldn’t expect a certain length of reply from me.

12. I know this might seem a bit odd to place here, but I’m just letting everyone know, that sometimes the Doctor does find things a bit hard to believe.  Whenever he runs into something magical or fantasy, or something he doesn’t think should exist, he generally tends to think it’s caused by an alien.  This is because he’s so used to alien encounters.  So if your muse is a vampire or a ghost or something, and he accuses them of being an alien, please don’t be offended.  It doesn’t mean that I as the mun think your muse is an alien.  I’m totally accepting of all muses and all creatures and all things in RP, but the Doctor isn’t always as accepting of magic and stuff like that, and will usually think it’s some kind of alien technology.

13. I mentioned this in my rules and I want to mention it again here, I do RP with people who play the same muses.  I won’t drop you if you decide to RP with other Elevens.  I’ve seen a few people mentioning this type of thing in their rules lately, and I’m really not picky.  This includes stuff outside the Doctor Who fandom as well.  For example, I may decide to RP with multiple people who play Little Mac from Nintendo.  If this is a problem, and you want your partners to be exclusive to your version of a muse, most likely it would be best we don’t interact.  Likewise, I don’t expect you to be exclusive to my Eleven and am perfectly fine (and encourage you) to RP with other Elevens besides just myself.  He’s a pretty cool character, and if I didn’t portray him, I certainly wouldn’t want to limit myself to just interacting with one Eleven.

14. I don’t expect reblog karma and in fact I kind of like when people reblog memes from me so I can see that they did and then send them the meme myself.  I also know it can be difficult to reblog from the source on mobile.  Likewise, I’m not always great about reblogging from the source when I’m on mobile myself.

15. I have a thread tracker here.  

16.  I do roleplay with multifandom OCs, Doctor Who OCs, crossovers with fandoms that I know or interest me and other Doctor Who muses including other people who play the Doctor.  In general I’m not very selective about what types of muses I interact with.  I do ask that I know a little bit about your muse before hand and if you do not have an about page, please do message me a bit about your muse when introducing yourself.

Ok so.. I’ve been at work today and listening to my music an 80s song called me to draw Uli, with the disco colors from earlier, but @cardverse-royality-and-rouges suggested him on a motorcycle, then i picked specifically a 1984 Kawasaki Ninja, which i relied on this a lot haha.

But yea 80’s Uli on an international trip riding a motorcycle accidentally becoming a muse for artists or whatever, it’s a silly idea but it’s mine now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sexuality Headcanon: I see him as being homosexual, in the way that a homosexual neighborhood mom adopts every queer child within a 14 block radius. He’s got the pins, the flags, and so so proud! Monogamous, he’s very VERY devoted to the one he loves, and it would take no less than the world ending to jeopardize that loyalty.

Gender Headcanon: He/him fluid

A ship I have with said character: can’t help but ship him with Arthur, your muses just have such great chemistry! Plus i see those simping hours

A BROTP I have with said character: I’ve enjoyed a lot for interactions I’ve seen with Oliver! I think it’s a tie for Alfred and Francis? They just seem to mesh well in a playful way while still feeling well flushed out and comfortable

A NOTP I have with said character: hmm, i can’t say i have one as of yet? Honestly he’s got such a vibe i think it would be hard to find a real NOTP for me

A random headcanon: I’m not sure if it has any basis in reality, but i feel like he loves to teach others how to bake, and might do weekly baking lessons at any given senior center / community He just seems so patient and bubbly, I love to imagine him just gladly teaching those who are disadvantaged how to bake?? It just vibes so hard in my brainspace.

General Opinion over said character: I have only had Oliver for 15 minutes and if anything happened to him i would kill everyone in this room and then myself. He’s so smol! But he’s also got a great wit and sass! Like, he’s such a well balanced muse, i love how you portray him!! It is always a pleasure to see how he interacts with those around him. There’s just a really powerful charm, and warmth to him, like even when he seems a bit exasperated, there’s no sense that he’s going to snap, or break over it, but like he’s genuinely considering what brought any given encounter to this point.

Rules of the Road

I'm Moss, and I've been roleplaying online for nearly twenty years, now. I know myself well enough to let potential RP partners know the following:

I reply slow in conversation. Please give me the grace of patience.

I reply quickly to posts. Please don't think this means you must do the same; you'll reply when you get to it and I'll survive until then.

I am not comfortable writing with anyone under eighteen. This is not negotiable. I am 30+ years old.

I prefer multi-paragraph writing for myself, but our styles don't have to match. As long as I've got something to respond to in your post it could be a single sentence and I'd be happy.

Now for the actual rules. Don't consider all of these fully stone-set except for the first three, but do consider all of the rest of them things that would require discussion and planning to bend.

No-one under 18. This is not negotiable. It is also listed multiple times in multiple locations to hammer home the point.

No out-of-character shitheadery. This is intentionally left as a vague term because I'd hope most people can guess what constitutes being a shit head. I don't reblog call-out posts but I do block liberally.

No terfs. I'm a proud transsexual and my favorite tool is the block button.

No God-modding. I'll move my character, you move yours.

Not so much a rule as a request, but please don't use micro fonts with me. My eyesight is bad. Bad-bad.

I ship chemistry--and that goes the same for Aziraphales as it does for everyone else. Everyone who writes Aziraphale writes him differently and I love that, but my interpretation of Crowley may not be compatible with every interpretation of Aziraphale.

This said I love shipping. I'm multi-ship and duplicate friendly. Every thread is its own distinct universe and never the any will cross unless it'd be fun as hell to do so.

I write a generally ambiguously-timelined Crowley; has X important thing happened or not? Dunno--check with me ooc and we'll decide if it'd be more fun for something or other to have happened already or not.

I prefer to keep NSFW under read-more cuts; whether or not you do is up to you.

No NSFW gifs in threads, please. It's an easy way to get your blog deleted. However, if it's something you're really sold on then talk to me and we may be able to migrate a thread to e-mail. As a note, this is also somewhere I'd be happy to write.

There is nothing your character is not allowed to do to mine so long as it is feasible that it could be done. When in doubt, ask first; I promise it won't ruin the surprise because while I may now know what's coming, I won't necessarily know how it's coming.

There are very few fandom-based characters I won't interact with. We don't have to be in the same universe, and I'm always happy to have someone wind up where they shouldn't be. That being said the two fandoms that I personally will not write with characters from are: Axis Powers Hetalia and anything whose source material is produced by JK Rowling.

Not a rule per-se so much as a point I'd like to reiterate: original characters--particularly Good Omens OCs--get priority when I'm doing replies. I love original characters so much, and that absolutely includes child-of-blank characters.

These rules are likely to be updated as needed, but I think this gets the general gist. If you're ready to plot, feel free to do so, or if you want to send an ask in-character or reply to an open please have right at it!

General rules and the like seeing as I'm still working on this gal and she's gonna be super wip blog wise until vash is done.

First and foremost this blog is OC, Crossover, AU, Multiverse and Multimuse friendly. All kinds of muses and ideas are very welcome so feel free to just throw things my way or invade my ask box with random stuff for Rem. Let her adopt your muse because she will.

This is also a SIDEBLOG to my Vash rp blog so I will not be able to follow back directly through Rem!

This blog is using the BETA editor with the trim reblogs extension. Personally I have no idea what the deal is with the whole editor situation but I was told this was the best method for keeping posts clean so it’s what I’m using.

Selectivity and following back

I can be slightly selective with who I follow but I do generally tend to follow everyone back that follows me! If I don’t follow you back it’s either because I didn’t notice I had a new follower or I’m just not the hugest fan of your muse or the property they belong to but please be aware it will never be because of the mun unless you happen to just be a known douche bag or something idk.

18+ Muns only please but preferably over 21 would be ideal!

As I am 26 I would generally prefer to write with writers who are 18 or older and tend to not be too interested in writing with muns under this age. This rule does not apply to Muses. If your muses is a kid or a teenager I will happily write with you as long as you yourself are 18 or older.

Due to the nature of the show there will be times where things can be religious in theme as well as posts that include themes like death, violence and trauma as well as cults and experimentation on children. I will make sure to tag as much of this as possible but if I miss some things don’t be afraid to point that out and ask me to tag it!

All of my Rem icons are made by myself so please don’t take them without permission! 

I am fine writing most themes and romance is totally ok with me. I’m also fine with you reblogging ask memes from me without sending one in as I don’t want to force you into sending something you don’t want to y’know? However if you do want to send an ask my way be it a meme or just a random ask feel free to do so! I always appreciate people sending stuff my way.

If I happen to post something that triggers you please let me know what it was in an ask or IM and I will make sure to go back and tag things as needed and will keep in mind to tag stuff like that in the future! And I don’t really have any triggers myself apart from stuff relating to spiders. Tag spider related stuff if you can please!

Just note I tend to be a little shy around new people sometimes so if I don’t come to you straight away after following you it’s just because I’m trying to psych myself up to interact. I can reply at the speed of sound sometimes and take years other times but never feel like you have to reply as fast as me if I do reply straight away. Usually if I reply instantly it’s because I’m enjoying the thread or am excited about it. Feel free to take as much time as you need when replying back to me.

In regards to other Rem rpers I do not mind if you guys follow and interact with me as I’m not one to be too bothered by people writing the same muse as me.

Also I am British but don’t think that will mean I go offline earlier than most people. I have absolutely no sleep schedule lmao.

RPC behaviors that need to end with the new year

And this goes for ALL fandom RPCs. These are all things that I have observed at many different points throughout this year. From many different people from many different fandoms.  I’ve done my part to be better about some of these myself already. It’s never too late to correct old, bad behaviors and build a community that’s happier and safer. 

Confronting people about unfollowing you. Regardless if you were long time mutuals or not, if someone unfollowed you, they probably had their reasons. And they don’t need to justify their choice to you nor do you get to decide if their reason is “good enough” for you. Let people unfollow/soft block/hard block however they want so that they feel safe in the community.

The habits of begging for things from others while not reciprocating. People will exhaust themselves of things to constantly shower upon you if you’re not doing the same every now and then. If you are constantly reblogging memes, constantly asking people to send your muses questions, to write your muses starters and never being the one to do those things yourself... It’s unfair and everyone knows it, yet it keeps happening year after year. If you’re going to ask others for things, be willing to reach out on your own every now and then. 

 Acting like other people’s rules don’t apply to you. If someone says they don’t RP with a specific fandom/genre that is their choice and you neeed to respect it. If they say they only write a specific way, you need to respect that. If they say they are mutuals only, YOU NEED TO RESPECT THAT. No one needs to justify their rules to anyone. Most people have those rules because someone in their past did things to them they didn’t like and they are trying to prevent it from happening again. It doesn’t matter if you’re a new follower or a long time mutual. Follow each other’s blog rules. If you view yourself as the exception to the rule, you’re part of the reason that rule exists. 

Vague blogging about your mutuals. Just. Stop it. Confront people in private or take your hands off of your keyboard. Be a good person and talk to someone if they do something you’re not okay with or just unfollow/block them. Vague-ing on the dash just fills everyone who sees it with unnecessary anxiety and a fear that “Oh god are they talking about ME? Did I do something wrong??” and they have no way to know because you chose to make it everyone’s problem instead of confronting the issue directly.

Emotionally manipulative posts to get people to respond to your stuff. No more making a scene to get people to send you a bunch of stuff. Even worse is when people do this and then delete the posts where they did it as if it never happened. There are better ways to get people to interact with you than cussing at your mutuals. These are your rp partners. They deserve your respect. and tying into #2 up there... Especially don’t do this if you’re not sending things to others as well. This breeds an unhappy and unhealthy RP environment

The lack of respect for RPers of all ages. No one is too old or too young. Stop treating new, young RPers like they aren’t as good by default. Or older RPers like they’re out of touch and don’t belong in the community. And by that same notion, respect if people aren’t comfortable RPing with people outside their own age groups. If a blog is 18+ only, that should be respected- Especially if there is graphic content on their blog. If a minor isn’t comfortable RPing with the 30+ community, we should not be pressuring KIDS to interact with strange adults online. 

Pressuring people to leave their safe spaces and RP with fandoms they don’t like or just aren’t in.  If someone isn’t comfortable rping with a specific fandom, a specific genre or a specific type of character, they are allowed to have those preferences. Do you have to like it? No. But you do have to respect it. We need to stop this “Just treat them like an OC if you don’t know/like the fandom” stuff because there are always more factors you don’t know. And the ties to the source material that is probably making them uncomfortable will always be there in your muse’s portrayal. Because they are not your OC that you made up. They will ALWAYS be a character from a fandom. No one can just shut off the part of their brain that recognizes something that potentially triggers them and view it as something  brand new. Stop expecting people to set aside their boundaries for the sake of your muse(s).

2020 was terrible for a lot of people. There’s no reason that the thing we do for fun to escape life has to be terrible too. Respect and be good to each other in 2021. It’s the least we can do.

How to start

Blogs: Whether you have a side blog or a main blog is up to you. You can’t send asks or follow from side blogs, but it’s easier when you don’t need to log in and out between blogs, especially when you have multiple ones. 

Choosing your name: You can choose employee-[insert number here] (ie employee-428) if you have an employee oc, the-[unique trait or name]-parable (ie the-confusion-parable, the-mariella-parable), using a quote (ie: get-out-of-the-broom-closet) or anything related to the game. Obviously you don’t need to reference TSP, but it can help people find you easier.

Interaction: Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself with a post or to follow people you are interested in. Just make sure to read the rules of a blog first before you follow or interact. The best way to break the ice is with an ask meme sent in!

Sometimes blogs will post starter calls, where you only need to like the post for them to write you a brand new starter for your muses to interact.

Etiquette

Standard roleplay etiquette applies to roleplaying. Such as

no god modding (controlling other people’s characters without permission)

ask before you hurt someone’s character 

read everyone’s rules before you interact

tag triggers (common triggers are nsfw, heavy topics, flashing gifs, gore and blood)

chemistry vs no chemistry. some people prefer pre-established relationships, some people prefer relationships between muses to happen naturally

reblog karma (not everyone practices this. reblog karma is when you reblog a meme from someone, you are expected to send one in as well)

cut your posts if they get too long (xkit has an editable reblog feature)

don’t start drama (instead of call out posts, try talking to the person first)

mutuals only (these blogs only roleplay if you follow them and they follow you. please respect them if they have this in their rules)

private / selective (these people only roleplay with blogs they feel are a good fit to them)

Reoccurring Headcanons

Of course your blog is your business, and how you worldbuild as well. But here are some common headcanons previous tsp blogs have utilized:

Muses can travel to other dimensions accidently or purposefully through doors. 

Offices are connected through portals that appear as normal doors, letting Stanleys, employees and Narrators meet their alternates or visit other Offices.

Restarts can heal injuries and happen automatically when you die. Most people remember restarts.

The Narrator has a control room he uses to restart the Story, read his script and watch Stanley. Sometimes that room can be found by muses.

Some muses were trapped in the Office once the Parable started and can’t find their way out. 

People don’t age or age very slowly in the Office (often a side effect of restarts)

Offices can be sentient beings who will work with or against the Narrator

Some Stanleys are mute and use sign language or notes to communicate

Worldbuilding

Every Office is unique! While there are reoccurring themes in the TSP RP community, feel free to make your own rules.

Do muses remember what happens after restarts?

Are they aware of alternate versions of themselves?

Can your Stanley speak?

What relationship do your muses have with Narrators, Stanleys, or Curators?

Is your Narrator violent and cruel, just as trapped as Stanley, or do they mean well?

Do you have a Curator? A Mariella or a Line?

Does your employee oc know what happened? Do they know Stanley? Did they notice people disappearing or were they also trapped in the Parable?
