A thought that went from "kinda wanna try drawing Rom without the shadow and the hat"

to

"what if his code eventually fixes itself while existing in the real world, allowing him to isolate his clothes from himself as well as restoring his appearance."

Basically, the longer Rom sticks around being his own entity, the more corporeal/real he becomes. If that makes sense.

ID: a simple drawing of Stelle with only her head and her hands peeking out of a trash can. There's a banana stuck to the can. She is wearing the lid like a hat, and she has a cat-mouth smile. End ID.

Last one I can crank out. I find it's very hard to continue monthly challenges once my momentum's been disrupted for too long, and real life has been garbage (ba dum tss) to me for the past few days.... So I'll call it quits (both from here and Honkaitober) for my peace of mind. It's been super fun though, and I'll stick around to see what everyone else has up their sleeves.

Semi-regular posting resumes Monday (probably) because I have some pre-October stuff in the backlog.

#fingernail floss #concept art #mspaint #bm and yno were def the hardest to design #renolds final design was literally the first thing that was drawn #i think i MIGHT have doodled a small unused head for grinelle but other than that it was instant #We knew we wanted BM to be some kind of business man guy but i didnt know what I wanted his design and colors to be at first #I wanted a saturated green and magenta but going all in on magenta was definitely the right choice #I also wanted him to be like a black sillouette but i didnt know what to do with his hair #just being a circle head looked dumb #i think i took some inspiration from silver the hedgehogs quills lol #all the character portraits are technically just their final piece of concept art #the sunglasses BM was made when i was trying to make a drawing of BM throwing a match in the trashcan with a pinecone in it #but i decided to restart
