FOG ON BRIGHTER DAYS is an 18+ (sfw) WCRP hosted on Discord, following a group of cats as they found a clan from the ground-up and face the wilderness (and weirdness) around them. The story takes place in a fictionalized setting inspired by the Cape Cod coast. With lore influenced by maritime legend and sailor myths, we aim for a somewhat moody and mysterious world environment— with a groovy 60s twist.

Hello everyone! I am extending our staff applications to the 20th of March, specifically for the roles of event planner and storykeeper. We have received 2 applications for staff in total, and compared to the 9 applications sent in for players, that’s not a whole lot. My goal with this roleplay is to have a strong and consistent staff team to keep things moving, and while we will be starting out small, I’m concerned about starting too soon when we aren’t actually prepared.

What is an event planner?

An event planner is someone on the staff team that will come up with server-wide events, both ic and ooc, includes prompts, encounters, art swaps, development questions, etc. Events are important to have in a group roleplay to keep players engaged! We are looking for 2 event planners at the very least.

What is a storykeeper?

A storykeeper is someone who helps keep track of the characters and immediate stories within the roleplay, how they intersect, and where to go next; can also assist with plots/arcs! This role is important to have within the team because we are all human and details in groups can easily fly under the radar. The storykeeper(s) will help players directly by listening to their ideas and applying them where they fit in the greater story alongside other plotlines, while also communicating with the admin and lorekeeper(s) to finalize these decisions. We are looking for 2-3 event planners at the very least.

I think it’s important to note that the server and roleplay are aiming to be very communicative and understanding; we have very lax activity checks, lots of room for discussion, and set-in-stone rules to deter drama. We are all adults with our own lives and feelings, and that is extremely important to understand. We hope everyone will be patient and respectful to others while participating and we don’t want anything less!

Yes! Just note somewhere in your application that's a requirement. The only thing that is mandatory for the Compendium is that you must be open to new members or have a public-facing/accessible facet. There's no point advertising a community if no one can join it in some way!

Also totally okay! People don't start with large communities. Activity is a must but, whether your server has two or two thousand members, if you're looking for new people to join, I'd love to help you find people.

Okay, and? If your Eorzean Fishing Alliance has four members but you roleplay every second weekend, I still want to know about it. The same goes for resources; if it's relevant to the game, it'll be useful to someone.

How active does a community need to be?

If you find a community has not been active in about two/three months, send me a message and I'll take a look at it. Communities have ebbs and flows, especially event spaces that may take hiatuses depending on member interest/life events. I'm not strict in my implementation provided a space isn't dead. the bias isn't actually in it all that much, but just like trust me lol

applicable for any enha member, no name stated, though if you feel it's a bit ooc for your member of choice to say certain things feel free to alter it a little in your own mind to make it fit better!

I shiver, feeling like an ice block from the inside out, despite the amount of layers on my body and the hot drink in my gloved hands.

I breathe out air warmer than my surroundings, granting me the appearance of a steam cloud coming from my mouth.

As I take a drink from my paper cup, I can't help but wonder to myself why Thanksgiving has to be in November. And why parades have to be outdoors. And why I had to be here so early in the morning just to stand here for hours.

Then, my phone buzzes in my pocket. Not just a generic vibration, but the custom vibration that he set for himself on my phone. 'So I always know it's him before I even look.'

He's such an ass. He's currently inside, waiting for the staff to tell him to go out and board the float. Inside. He's inside. In the heat.

Instead of responding, I slide my phone back into my pocket. I don't really have anything else to say at the moment. If I tell him straight up that I WILL be waiting until the end of the parade for him, he'll just whine about how I don't have to.

And now I stand. And wait...

And I waited for about 5 hours. We had to be here at 4:30 in the morning, both for him to get where he needed to go with his members and for me to get an absolutely prime spot in the crowd. The parade didn't actually start until about 9:30.

It's not every day that your boyfriend performs in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Longest five hours of my life, but whatever. He better not mess up the choreography after all this shit or I'm gonna be pissed.

Not really, it would actually be pretty funny. But the point is- this is pretty exhausting. Especially since I'm here all by myself.

Other members have partners, but they either couldn't come out for the parade or they don't like me. Not kidding, they seriously just don't like me that much. But that's okay! I don't particularly like them either. Anyways, all that resulted in me being here alone, without anybody to talk to to pass time.

But whatever. Whatever! It's over. The agonizingly boring five hours is over, and the parade is finally starting.

The float I'm really here for is a few floats and balloons back, but the parade feels like it moves quickly, so it doesn't seem to take very long at all.

The big Baby Shark float approaches and I see him already trying to find me in the crowd.

"Excuse me, could my daughter stand in front of you? Just for this performance?" A woman asks from behind me. I look next to her and see a young girl, probably about 10 or 11, holding a picket with my boyfriend's face on it.

She looks like this is the best day of her life. She isn't even looking at me, like she doesn't even care if she has the best view of the group. Just being here and seeing them is enough to fill her with pure joy.

"Of course! Of course she can!"

"Oh, thank you so much." She prompts her daughter to move forward as I scoot back a bit to make room for her. "She loves these boys, she's been talking about it for days. Thank you."

"It's no problem at all." I turn my attention to the young girl. "Is he your favorite?" I point to her picket.

She nods, excitedly.

"He's so pretty."

"He really is. He's my favorite too."

I look up again, seeing that he's still trying to find me. I wave with all my might, willing him to spot me, and soon enough he does. As soon as I have his attention, I frantically point to the girl who is now holding her picket up and waving at him. He leans down a bit to indicate that he's changed his attention to her as he smiles, waves at her, and sends a hand heart in her direction.

She squeals and jumps up and down.

"He saw me!! He saw me!! Mama, he saw me!! He gave me a heart!"

The cute little girl continues to freak out, making me worry slightly that she might just explode, as the float stops and the guys climb down, getting ready to perform.

There was some benefit to getting here so early. The performances are all directly in front of me (and this little girl, who I feel some level of community with at the moment.)

The hosts finish up their introductory stuff about the float, the movie, and the group, and the Baby Shark music begins to play (soon transitioning into the Keep Swimmin' Through tune.)

I watch him intently, full of pride for him and his success with the group.

I know he can't entirely take this seriously. It's a song for a Baby Shark movie. It's not like it's the most serious of performances in the first place. But I also know that deep down he can't believe he's here either. He can't believe he's doing this. He'd probably agree to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star acapella if it meant he got to be in such a big event that few kpop groups have been in.

The group does a great job. Of course they do. None of them mess up the choreography, so I remain not pissed off. (Lol)

After the performance, they simply walk off next to the float, but my boyfriend makes sure to send a quick flying kiss to both me and the little Engene in front of me before leaving the main square.

"He saw me again!!" She squeals.

"That's great, honey!" Her mother says before whispering to me, "Do you know that boy or something? He seemed to know you?"

I laugh a bit.

"Yes, ma'am. He's my boyfriend."

"Oh my! Oh, you must be very proud of him."

"You have no idea."

The rest of the parade is uneventful, just nice entertainment.

When it ends, I say goodbye to the little Engene and her mom, and seek out a heated place as fast as possible. I'm finally able to find a store nearby that is both open and not too busy. I wait in that store until my boyfriend is released from his duties and able to text me where to find him.

When I finally do leave and find him, he hugs me tighter than usual and holds on longer than usual.

"Are you alright?" I ask, slightly concerned.

"So cold. You're so warm."

I laugh, though I understand. I have to pry him off of me, taking a second to kiss his cold lips.

"You guys did great. Was it fun?"

"Yeah, it was. Less fun though and more just... just a really crazy experience."

"I bet. Did you see a lot of Engenes throughout the parade?"

"Yeah! A lot more than I expected. They really showed out. That little girl in front of you was adorable."

"You're her bias, and I think your heart and kiss made her entire day. Month. Life, possibly."

"Well, I wouldn't have seen her and made her entire life if it wasn't for you."

He takes my hands and pulls me close to him, bringing his face near to mine.

"It really is all thanks to me, isn't it? Technically, maybe /I/ made her entire life. You were just the tool."

"Mhm, mhm. Sure..." He trails off, pressing his lips into mine in a much deeper way than the short kiss earlier.

I feel a warmth run through my body, like the warmth of his kiss is being injected into my veins.

He cuts it off suddenly, staying close enough for his lips to still brush against mine. We utter a sentence each before resuming the kiss.

"Thank you for coming and standing out in the cold just for me."

"Baby, I'm so proud of you."

Blue Harbor's 8th Summerween Spectacular

It's a Summerween event! All around town, Blue Harbor parties like it's October 31st while taking advantage of the weather and extended hours of sunlight. The main event is a Halloween themed weekend festival hosted by the legendary Leonard Katz. There are both family friendly and adult events, including costume contests, ghost story sessions, vendors, dance parties, and of course, trick-or-treating. Rumor is that a certain Thalia Edwards will be hosting a goth tea party or two.

Saturday, July 20th — Halloween is a little corny, but that's part of the frightful fun at Meadowview Farm, with its special Summerween corn-maze, complete with a Jack O'Melon scarecrow waiting to greet you in the center ... if you can find it! Frightening fun for all the family!

Sunday, July 21st — Creepin' it real on Sunday with a Summerween Special Trunk or Treat in the Oak Gardens neighborhood, where you get the best of both worlds with fun in the sun and spooktacular goodies. Round your kids up to get in on the frightfully fun action!

You cannot run for Vice President directly. You run for President, and then the runner up becomes the Vice President from there.

((I'm going to keep this succinct because if I say everything I want to say I know I'll just end up feeling frustrated (to put it both kindly and lightly) and I, ultimately, want to go forward on a positive, healthy note. That deserves to be the focus and drive rather than any deep seated frustration or upset.

With the exception of one thread (and the applicable tcol threads that are being moved over to my other blog or have been moved already) I'm going to be dropping all interactions here and permanently archiving this blog.

This probably disappoints some of you but I've dealt with all of this long enough. This blog isn't a safe, healthy or good place for me to be in; in all honesty it hasn't been for over a year now, and no matter what I do to express myself, no matter how I try to accommodate others either ic or ooc, no matter what I offer or suggest, no matter who I speak to or how I reach out it just..... doesn't matter. Despite all efforts on my part I've either been ignored or, worse, sent hate message after hate message for reasons I cannot even begin to comprehend. And that's not fair. That's not fair and it never has been fair and I'm tired. I've put up with all of this for far too long when I could be somewhere better instead, like my new blog, or just..... anywhere else besides here. I hate to say that, I really do, but it's true and I should've realized that sooner and maybe I shouldn't of fought so hard, I don't know.

I'm tired of not being listened to and that includes listening to myself and so I'm going to leave and do what's best for me even if it feels a little 'too late' for comfort.

Creating a new blog from scratch is an incredibly stressful thing for me and I've already had to do exactly that incredibly recently as everyone here knows but..somehow I'll do it. Somehow. Say My Name is an twenty-one (21)+ general non-au roleplay based on mewe with a "nightclub" theme, posing itself as a "getaway" and "escape" from the everyday life and burdens of idolhood. All muns and muses must be at least twenty-one (21)+ years old internationally. 

We accept all Asian face claims even if they are not active within the Korean entertainment industry. However, we do not allow any youtubers, Instagram models, influencers, those involved in scandals/controversies, married idols, or those that have asked to not be roleplayed. Character changes are only allowed one (1) week after you’ve joined the roleplay. You must reach out to admin via tumblr or DMs on mewe to request a change. You must wait three (3) weeks between changes.

Activity Requirements

Activity Checks will be held twice (2) a month. The first activity check will take place between the 1st of the month to the 15th of the month. The second activity check will take place between the 16th of the month to the 30th/31st of the month. 

The activity requirements are as follows:  ❏ At least 1 timeline post (profile, tracker, aesthetic OR nsfw posts do not count!) ❏ At least 3 comments on others’ posts.  ❏ Always make sure you are up-to-date with your followers list!

In addition, you must select from one of the following: ❏ 2 additional comments ❏ Hosted a game, hyperbeam, or group activity ❏ Posted a plot call  ❏ Reached out to 2 new members via dm ❏ Participation in a prompt, AU, or event hosted by the admins ❏ At least 1 public or private thread reply

If you miss an activity check or appear inactive, the admin will reach out to you. You will have 24 hours to respond before you are removed from the roleplay for inactivity. 

For the best experience, try to reach out to everyone and make new friends. Try to respond to everyone’s comments and DMs. Tagging in posts is a good idea since MeWe can be fickle with notifications! It is recommended you go beyond the AC checks and comment on posts when you can to enhance connectivity with others. We cannot emphasize this enough that we are a community and must ensure that everyone feels included and welcomed!

There is a two (2) week dating ban for new arrivals. We would like to give everyone the opportunity to get to know one another. Please do not face-chase for the sole purpose of wanting your muse to date a specific muse. 

Roleplaying is a hobby. Many of us attend school, care for a family or hold a job. You may take a hiatus for up to two(2) weeks at a time. If a longer hiatus is needed, please reach out to admins in order to communicate this need. Before taking a hiatus, please inform admin of your hiatus start date and end date so we can mark you down accordingly and refrain from including your muse in any ongoing Activity Checks.

Application Process

We accept tumblr, aff, and mewe as a form of communication. We would like to be able to get in contact with you if we run into any issues during your stay here at Say My Name.

You are allowed up to two (2) muses when applying. If you choose to take on two muses, we do ask that you maintain consistent activity and meet the activity requirements on both accounts. The admin team may ask for you to reevaluate your ability to hold more than one muse if you are unable to maintain activity in accordance with our requirements. You cannot roleplay two members of the same group, nor siblings/family members.

Say My Name accepts move-in couples upon application. In order to guarantee spots for your boo and you, please make sure to reference one another in your application.

Reservations last for forty-eight (48) hours. If you choose to reserve anonymously, please make sure to provide a unique password so we know it’s you when you apply! 

Once Accepted

Once accepted, you have forty-eight (48) hours to add the admin account on mewe. To make things faster, you may add the admin when you apply.

After you’ve been accepted, please accept all seven (7) group invites. The NSFW group is optional. 

Please wait to post on your timeline or add friends until you have been announced in the Arrivals group!

Once you’ve been announced, you must make a feed post within 48 hours. Remember to emoji your own posts, it’s easier for others to react.

While not mandatory, it is recommended you post a plot call in the Plot Calls group. This is one of the easiest ways to start making connections and writing with other members of the community! We also encourage you to react to as many plot calls as you possibly can to keep your interactions fresh and ongoing.

Rules

1. Remember the human. Be kind to each other, and respectful! Never assume the worst if you can help it, and when in doubt feel free to use tone tags to clarify yourself! (Ex. /genuine, /sarcasm, /joke)

2. No romanticization of pedophilic or incestuous content is to be posted or discussed within this server. Such content is banned by Discord TOS and will result in a strike or ban depending on severity. While dark subjects can be included in characters backstories, applications that mention these aspects of a character must include a trigger tag.

3. That being said, there is to be no ship bashing in this server. As this is a multifandom space, crack ships will run wild here! Please keep others boundaries in mind when interacting with them. Anybody pushing for a ship may be reprimanded for disregarding these boundaries. Remember, cosplay is not consent!

4. Keep OOC drama out of IC chats and IC drama out of OOC interactions. If your characters have a complicated relationship, remember that it's nothing personal! Also be sure to respect boundaries when it comes to IC confrontations or fighting.

5. NSFW content belongs in the NSFW channels. Please trigger tag any mentions of NSFW subject matter outside of these channels, and move to the correct channel as is appropriate. Mods may remind you if necessary!

6. AU characters are allowed. Doubles and OCs are not. Players can have up to 10 characters at a time.

7. All claimed characters in this server must be 18+ both in the server and in their canon. Aging up is allowed but again the characters played here must already be adults. There will be no aged up minor characters.

8. Swing, batter batter! This server runs on a "Three Strikes" policy. Minor infractions will warrant a reminder depending on severity, but anything that requires moderator intervention beyond that point may result in a strike being placed on your account. Three strikes will result in a ban from the server. However, this rule is void should the infraction present an immediate threat to others within the server including but not limited to scams and spamming.

9. Additionally, if you contact a moderator attempting to falisify drama against another user you will be banned. If you have an issue with another user, be honest with us as we will be digging into the issue to decide on appropriate punishment as necessary. Just be honest and present evidence of any claims and this rule is nothing to worry about.

10. Queerphobia, racism, misogyny, and other forms of discrimination against other users is banned and any discriminatory behaviour will result in an immediate ban from the server without strikes issued. Don't be an asshole.

11. No feral or strictly furry characters. Your character must have a human form to participate in the simulation!

TWO. I am most comfortable writing threads of multi- and single-paragraph length, but am open to one-liners ( moreso for ice-breakers ) , as well as novella threads. Regarding novella threads, I do ask that some plotting is done beforehand. I format my IC replies with small text and I do not match my writing partners’ formatting, and I don’t expect any to match mine. If you prefer small text not be used ( and it isn’t stated on your blog somewhere already ) , feel free to let me know, as I have no problems with not using it. THREE. I won’t follow if your blog doesn’t have some form of guidelines AND a bio / about page. This is applicable both for canon characters, and original characters. Okay hi! This is a villian! Au rp blog for my dc ocs found here.

As far as I know, the symbol I drew up for the profile picture has no actual application in the real world. If I missed that, it has a meaning. Please let me know.

This au is in a world where all of the bat family is dead, along with Martin Man Hunter, John Stewart, Barry Allen, and many of young Justice and the titans. Each character had a distinct breaking point and turned to villainy (they think they're still heroes).
