Yui! Reader dating anyone but a Sakamki brother

Shu Sakamaki

You were a nuisance. A tiny, insignificant spec inside his world all because of that man couldn’t stop scheming. The existence of you has caused so much trouble—so many anomalies—he lost count after a while.

A human girl who couldn’t leave well enough alone. One that couldn’t obey, know right from wrong despite knowing all the facts and yet still being clueless. You made his life very difficult. He proved it to you time and time again.

Yet here he was, very out of character as he stood over your broken body. The feeling from earlier upon hearing the rumor of you leaving for someone else only now left his body. He felt like he wasn’t in control of his body during what he was doing to you.

He felt every emotion under the sun screaming at him loudly, blocking the noise of his music through his headphone. It was infuriating; he just wanted to relax. Do nothing and relax… Not break your fucking legs.

But what’s done is done.

He no longer felt this unwelcome discomfort in his chest when he saw you standing near another. It wasn’t him then. He was someone else, someone mad, someone crazy infatuated.

Shu has never been one to like someone.

So where did he fuck up?

Why did he fuck up?

He was always calm, calculated. The man he was today was driven by pure rage. Your screams in agony were music to his ears, better than any of the songs he enjoyed. Your pain, your scrunched up face and screaming, it was because of him. All because of his touch.

That thought alone satisfied him as he came down from his high, expression back to its blank slate, unreadable. He scuffs as your sound turns to whimpers and at your weak attempts to crawl away. It was almost cute… almost.

Bending down, he grips one of you legs causing a whale to leave you. Your hand instantly goes to his arm to stop him. He shakes it off him effortlessly, starring intensely at your face as he yanks you to him, you are now face to face.

With a tilt of his head, he smirks, “This is your mistake. For meddling in my life… take responsibility as I drain you of everything.” He grabs your hair, yanking back your head, “The only thought in your head should be giving yourself to me.” he finishes with the sinking of his teeth in your throat.

Reiji Sakamaki

Honestly, he thought he kneeded you into the perfect pet. At this point you should know better. His teachings should have gotten you into shape, but here you are once again being disobedient. Oh, how he detested that part of you. This hurts you more than him.. perhaps you like it?

Without missing a beat, when you arrive home he calls you to his office. This insolence has to be put to rest. You have soiled his family name, much less his pride though he would never tell.

This rumor, even though it was just that, was disgraceful. And it spread, reaching his ears. As if you would be with the trash that litter these halls. Who did they think they were compared to him. They were nothing, that’s what. You knew this. So why would you think it was okay?

Yes, it brings him great satisfaction when he saw you close in on yourself under his gaze, body trembling in fear. At least your body knows his touch, your mind still seemed to show some resistance. No worries, Reiji considers himself a excellent teacher. He was never one to give up, no matter the challenge.

“I don’t wanna hear your excuses…” he starts, getting up from his seat. On his way over to you, he grabs a cup filled with liquid and stands in front of you, pushing it towards you, “Drink this.”

Scared, you shake your head already knowing it’s something bad. You remember the last time he gave you something, the nightmares are everlasting.

Reiji inhales deeply, frowning down at you, “Drink it or I’ll shove it down your throat. I’ll be anything but gentle.” Again he pushes it to you, this time settling it in your hands after his threat weighed heavy in the air.

Cautiously you take a sip, tasting a honey dew hibiscus blend before swallowing the rest. You hand him the empty cup after, noticing no effect. It confused you, was that simply tea?

You’re question was answered shortly after when your eyes felt heavy and your body light as air. You stumbled into Reiji’s arms loosely, looking at him through blurry vision. The last thing you see is him smiling.

When you came to, you found you were strapped to a chair, in what looked to be the dungeon. How could you forget? You had the worst happen to you here, a shiver travels down your spine when you think about it.

“You’re up.” Reiji, a voice you’ll never forget, spoke behind you. You tried to turn to see him, but it was difficult. He chuckles are you attempt, walking around you to face you. Your eyes immediately notice a cloth bag in his gloved hands, the bottom cut open.

“What’s that for?” You squeeze out, heartbeat picking up.

“A lesson.” was all he said when he forces it over your head till it hang around your neck. He pulls away to walk around you again, making noise behind you. Then you heard a squeak. Your breath stills.

Please tell me that’s not a—

Reiji comes back into view, holding a rat in front of your face. It was mid size, black and ugly. You were going to cry, already feel the tears pool at your eyes.

“Reiji, please!” You shake your head, thrashing around in the chair.

He clicks his tongue, “Bad girls get punished.” He holds the bag in one hand and the rat in the holder. Inch by inch the rat gets closer to your face, thrashing in Reiji hand not liking the harsh treatment just like you.

A scream rips from your throat when he drops it on your head and quickly ties the bag.

You had to learn your place one way or another.

Ayato Sakamaki

Ayato had to have heard wrong because there was no fucking way that you chose someone other then him. Especially knowing that you were his and his alone. This rumor had to be just that, false information spreading around the school.

He knew he didn’t have anything to worry about, it was him for crying out loud. No one can compete… but he still needed to hear how wrong everyone was from the source.

He found you easily in the girls bathroom, locking the door to avoid any interruptions. It was a miracle he was thinking clearly, usually it was so unlike him. And that’s why it was scary.

His stare was intense and focused, it made you squirm under the heat of it. He taunts you with slow forward steps, making you take steps back until your back was flush against one of the walls. He caged you in between his arms immediately, decreasing your chances to escape. As if you had any to begin with..

“Ore-sama’s been hearing some things he shouldn’t, Chichinashi.” He begin, his left hand sliding down to grip one of your shoulder, “It’s not true right? You wouldn’t dare go against Ore-sama?”

“A-Ayato.” Your mouth felt dry all of a sudden. You knew what he was talking about. After having a disagreement once again between you both, you foolishly accepted a date with another. You thought it would come to nothing, little did you know that the person would spread the news like a wild fire.

His grip tightens, nails digging through your uniform into your skin, drawing blood from you. The smell was intoxicating as always to Ayato, but he was to busy seething inside to notice completely.

“It was a mistake! I didn’t mean it, I was upset. Forgive me.” You plea body trembling in both pain and fear.

A scowl stretches onto his face, his hand long left your shoulder the minute those words left your lips. Instead, they wrap around your throat, tightening as he processes your words. It came to the point, you were clawing at his hand, letting out choked gasps.

Ayato couldn’t think straight. All he can think about is you being with someone that’s not him. How dare you? Ayato should be your whole world, your first thought when you wake up and your last thought when you sleep. You should feel suffocated by his presence, otherwise he wasn’t doing his job.

Slowly he loosens his hold on you, leaving you chugging down air desperately. A few minutes pass before you glance at him, body going still when you see the huge sinister grin on his face.

“Ore-sama’s just gonna have to remind you who you belong to,” he suddenly grabs your hair and throws you on top of the faucets counter, “No matter how long it takes, everyone will know you belong to Ore-sama.” He finishes before sinking his sharp teeth into your neck with purpose.

Kanato Sakamaki

If it was any normal person, they would be heart broken and move on. But Kanato was anything but normal.

First he lets you get away with talking back to him in your argument yesterday, chosen to forgive you after you reluctantly make him snacks and now.. you had the audacity to cheat on him.

You filthy, untrustworthy mortal.

He was aware all woman were the same. Hell, he constantly reminded him despite the kind attention you gave him. He always assumed your kindness had ulterior motives. Why else would someone be kind to him? He knew he was a handful. He just didn’t care.

Now it was clear how you felt about him, there was no hiding it. There was no hiding from him. This time, you actions are unforgivable. You thought you can toy with his feelings… You’ll pay in the worst way.

When he invited you to his room, you didn’t think much of it. Somehow you were completely oblivious to the news spread throughout the school. In fact, the situation with the date was so far in the back of your head, you have forgotten it had happened. You were just upset in the moment. It was never more than just a sway of words.

That’s why after entering his room to see the person who asked lying lifeless in a pool of blood a few feet away from Kanato, were you shocked. Just a few hours ago, he was alive. Guilt quickly creeped up on you but it was shortly lived when Kanato called for your attention.

“So glad you’re here. Good to know you’re still a little obedient,” he smiles but it doesn’t reach his eyes. He points to the dead on his floor, “Remember them?” he laughs, “Of course they do! Right teddy?” he turns to the bear in his hand.

You remain still, time ticking like a bomb about to go off. Which in all honestly it could, Kanato was unpredictable and if he found out about that and this was the outcome, imagine what he would do to you.

How do you get out of this situation?

“Look at her, teddy. She’s planning something… whatever it is won’t work. No. I don’t like it.” he shakes his head, “I’d much rather your expression be twisted in pain than whatever this is…” he walks towards you, face twisting from one emotion to another before settling into a deep frown. He stops a feet away from you, your back against the door before she even realizes it.

“I do enjoy your terrified expression too, it’s adorable.” he mumbles. It felt like time froze with how long you both been staring at each other. Kanato hold on his bear tights as he stares numbly at you. It was too much, you had to say something.

“Kanato—“ your voice trails off because in a split second, a knife was lunged into your abdomen. It hurt so much, it pulsed with heat. Your mind couldn’t wrap around what was happening. Gripping the arm it was attached to, you looked the culprit in his crazed eyes, “Kan-ato..”

He sneered twisting it harshly, “Did you think you can get away with using me?! I told you I’d break you. Down to your last breath.” he yanks it out, watching your body drop to the floor, struggling to inhale.

“You’re lucky you’re pretty enough to be added to my collection,” he bends down to stab you again in your shoulder. He smiles when you haller out in pain, “To stay with me forever… you should be grateful.” he stabs your leg.

“That’s right.. look at me like that.” he repeatedly stabs you over and over until the life drifts from your eyes to nothing, “You’ll never leave me. Will you?”

Laito Sakamaki

What was this? Is his hearing finally going, has he finally reached that age? No, that can’t be it. So whst exactly was happening?

His little bitch going on a date with some that’s not him? How outrageous. Not possible. He’s the only one who can take you out on sexy rendezvous and risky trips. You liked it better when it was him. He knew that.

So why is it that hearing the rumor stirs something unsettling in him. It tugs at his undead heart and gnaws at his brilliant brain. Before he could do anything, it seeped through the cracks, drowning him.

Every memory with his mother, with every woman he encountered, every person who he thought he loved—who he thought showed him love and every betrayal he assumed or saw came full surface.

It hurt so much. He swore to never feel like this again. And it ate at his mind. If he had a breath to give, it would be ripped right out of him. He didn’t like this. He wasn’t the one in control, he wasn’t the one getting your love. He wasn’t the one playing the game. He felt like the game played… him.

When Laito found you, he all but dragged you to the roof top. A place where terrifying, haunting memories were held. The same ones that kept you on your toes, but failed you every time.

Laito was uncharacteristically quiet, his back turned to you as he stared out into the open planes. It could have been a pleasant sight if you didn’t know what kind of monster he really was.

“Y’know, little bitch.” he starts, taking his hat off to run his free hand through his hair, “There was only one other time I truly loved someone to the point of hate. All the others… they weren’t real.”

Hearing where this conversation was heading, you reach back to grip the handle when a gasp leaves you. No longer were you standing in front of the door, instead Laito has you dangling off the rails of the school on your toes. His right hand was twisted into your uniform shirt, the only thing keeping you from falling.

Quickly, you grab his arm, tears swelling in your eyes as you see the sad expression on his face. It squeezed at you heart, but maybe that was actually the fear of falling.

“Lait-o please!” You lean forward into his touch.

He clicks his tongue, shaking his head at your attempt to sway him. He knew this scene all too well. The first was hard on him, he drowned himself in body after body. No doubt this would be the same. It didn’t bring him the same joy as his usual actions did. This time he truly felt torn.

“Little bitch,” he draws in your attention and you lock eyes, “It doesn’t bring me joy from this. I would have rather spent the rest of our lives together… exploring each other but I can’t tolerate the betrayal.”

It only dawned on you what he was talking about. From the start of this interaction you thought he was being moody but you should have known; play your cards just a little better but it was too late. With a easy unraveling, he lets you go with a gentle push and watches as you descends to the floor.

So many emotions raved through him as he did. He wanted to grab you back and tell you it was a joke. But he stays in place when he hears a loud splat and a pierced scream.

He couldn’t even bring himself to peek before he left. You brought up to many bad memories, how could he forgive you?

Subaru Sakamaki

Subaru really couldn’t stand you. From the moment you entered their home and disrupted his peace. It was always something with you. Always needing saving from someone or something, always needing to be reminded that you were beneath him and everyone in this house.

Yet you seem to not understand it or that you do but you completely throw it to the wind, whatever the reason it pissed him off. All your stupid attempts to get close to him, to try and understand him… to get him to open up.

Then, despite his constant attacks on you, he actually grew some form of attachment. The thought of you sicken him, but the thought of you gone made him mad more. You disgusting, weak human did something to him.

So when he heard the rumor of you agreeing to date someone else. It was like… something broke in him. All his thoughts consumed him, he was a monster. Less than trash. His mother didn’t want him nor his father. Why would you?

He didn’t even like himself sometimes. It’s no surprise the time you have another argument, you agree to date someone else. If he was in your position, he’d run to. Run so far, the chances of anyone catching him was slim to none. But you weren’t that good at running… actually, you couldn’t really run after he caught you.

There was a permanent snarl on his face as he stares down at you. A chained collar secured tightly around your neck, identical to the ones around your wrist. If Subaru wasn’t so aggravated, he could have enjoyed seeing you ruined.

He grips the knife in his left hand, which drips of your blood, “Shut up!” he shouts, listening to your whimpers, “You brought this on yourself. Stupid.. You just don’t learn.”

He moves to crouch in front of you, lifting your head up by the chin, “I told you you’ll die if you stay here.” His left hand raises as he speaks and makes another slash across your skin.

You groan loudly with shut eyes, shaking as he does it again… and again, and again till more and the same wounds bleed profoundly. It was agonizing, with how many hours he’s been at it. It felt like he was never going to lighten up his assaults.

But a miracle shines on you when he pulls away and drops the knife. He stands over you for minutes, chest heaving up and down. You never understood why they pretended to breathe, but you weren’t in the position to question.

There you laid out like a doll. So broken, bruised and bloody. Almost beyond repair. Subaru smiles at that acknowledgment. As much as he was tempted to tear your throat out, the smell of your blood begging him to drain you dry till you were foaming at the mouth; this would have to do.

”I told you… you’ll die.” was the last thing he said before leaving the dungeon, locking it on the way out.

Fuck he hated you.

Some general thoughts on Precure All Stars F:

1) I knew it going in, but it really is delightful that the literal plot of this movie is some kind of all-powerful alien capable of destroying planets deciding after a fight to become the most powerful being in the universe: a magical girl. (Complete with mascot made of the weak and useless parts of yourself like compassion and a desire for friendship and ugh you’re not destroying things with our incredible cosmic power, get away from me.)

2) Laura: I’m looking for someone (my girlfriend.)

Mashiro: What a coincidence! I’m looking for my girlfriend too!

3) Love how StarTwi staff have said Lala’s “On my home planet I am TOTALLY AN ADULT” is a lie, but she still got grouped in on Team Adult… as the token kid.

4) I will say, the evil alien bunny girl does have a really good sense of style.

5) Tsubasa just fanboys every time he meets a princess, huh. What a dork. <3

6) I missed Manatsu and Laura so much. But you know who I missed more? Nodoka. Also love the inherent in-joke of Nodoka talking about how she misses and is looking for Rabirin to Mashiro, who shares a VA.

7) So yeah the train part made me go wibbly. Also, Nodoka took up running to build her stamina but still can’t run as fast as the others, none of whom are particularly athletic but also aren’t chronically ill. YES. (Laura trying to use her tail to bridge the gap was a nice touch.)

8) A tiny puppy reminds Yukari of her girlfriend, who is a dog.

9) The reunions were so cute, all times. Team Soaring Sky getting a group hug. Manatsu and Laura getting a HUGE hug while Yui and Amane and Nodoka and Asumi’s are a bit more restrained. So cute. (And then meanwhile, the adorable bunny mascot with Serious Trauma is having a very reasonable freakout. Poor Puca.)

10) Team Wing sees explosions in the castle and just vanishes for like five minutes only to reappear having already defeated Supreme’s “final boss.” High achievers, all of them.

11) Also La Mer getting to do her little “Victory!” jump and kick after her attack, even though they’re still running. So cute.

12) Reiterating what I said when Toei posted the first Big All-Precure Fight Scene: People were not kidding, Milky Rose looks dead there, and I’m not sure we actively see her get up later in the scene when everyone rallies? I… assume so? Looking forward to people uploading screenshots of a lot of the quick shot sequences to get a closer look (that one and the Cure Allies shots during All For One Forever, in particular.)

13) So the last couple movies hadn’t used Miracle Lights. Sure. But would it really be an All Stars movie - for a milestone anniversary, no less - without them? Of course not.

14) I am always a sucker for a good memory montage featuring the power of love. And oh, that was a good one. Not sure my favorite: Manatsu and Laura and Yui and Amane reacting to their shared memories are both fantastic, but so’s Yukari just standing by the wall as her memory plays out, and of course they pick That Scene from Healin’ Good for Rabirin and Nodoka’s maximum emotional impact.

15) That said: Distinctly NOT a fan of Supreme’s design featuring a darker skin tone once she goes evil and only when she goes evil, even though she keeps the black costume change in the ending.

16) I was admittedly a LITTLE disappointed when I got the soundtrack to realize they weren’t repeating All Stars Memories with a like twelve-minute fight scene track that was a medley of the theme songs. I do love the eight-minute medley track. All For One Forever is more than acceptable as a substitute, though.

17) We finally get the Delicious Party/Kirakira a la mode teamup we all wanted and deserved. Plus, bonus food-themed Cures adding their own powers to the mix! The ULTIMATE battle cake.

18) Also great: Laura and Minami’s “did we just become best friends?” attack. (All the thematic combos were delightful but seriously La Mer and Mermaid just seeing each other and going “let’s do a combo” is PERFECT.)

19) Yukari and Akira trying to act cool once they’re reunited, like Yukari hasn’t been utterly miserable all movie because her girlfriend is gone. Lala wiping out some cannon fodder so Yukari can have a moment with her girlfriend. (Lala understands. Her girlfriend was past the cutoff for getting two major cast members this movie. Probably because Nodoka and Rabirin with Team Prism had thematic purpose and a sequence break would look seriously weird - Hikaru seems like a shoo-in for Team Sky’s Goofball Energy And Preme.)

20) Cure Puca, like Ellee, gets the benefits of being a Precure seemingly requiring you to be a humanoid teenager/whatever’s going on with Cure Earth Who Is At Least This Tall Unless You’re A Mascot: being able to give a heroic speech.

21) Things I’m remembering last-minute I enjoyed: Sora showing the others her Hero Diary and being sad when she sees the “We Are Pretty Cure” page of her and Prism holding hands. Sora incorporating Yui’s and Manatsu’s mottos into her own. The lead Cures during the Portals Sequence all being like “yeah we don’t really know what’s going on here but we’ve all been in an All Stars movie or several before, we can handle this, sure.” The emphasis on hand-holding in general, particularly that FLASH of the battle they lost and Precious that Sora gets the first time she takes Yui’s hand and the vaguer one for Manatsu’s. And in a “this amused me” way, the way everyone getting lined up for the battle before the Requisite Explosion Jump is just them floating in space like a bunch of dolls on invisible shelves because it’s the only way to manage this all, there’s like 80 of them, it is SO MANY PRECURE.

So yeah, solid movie, I enjoyed it greatly. Probably gonna give it a minute until I finally watch the Healin’ Good one.

‘Anime Japan’ March 2023: Attack On Titan Stage Event

Preamble

Every March in Tokyo, representatives of different anime studios and shops put up stalls at the Tokyo Big Site Exhibition Hall to advertise upcoming anime and related goods. ‘Anime Japan’ is also a locus for interviews with voice actors. This year, Kaji Yuki (Eren), Ishikawa Yui (Mikasa), and Inoue Marina (Armin) went to promote Part 3 of The Final Season.

I couldn’t pass up the chance to go. However, there is limited space at the Stage Events, and the success of an application is determined by lottery. I applied for five events and got rejected from four – but as fate would have it, I got the ticket for SNK! I was as excited as Armin at the ocean. I of course went in my Survey Corps cloak.

Two caveats: photographs were not permitted, so none are provided. Also, my Japanese isn’t perfect, but I’m confident I got the gist of what they were saying.

The Event

The three seiyuu expressed sadness at the series coming to an end, and at how this would be their last time at Anime Japan after ten years. They thanked the presenter for having been their ‘MC’ for all this time.

On the projector, a scene from the last episode relevant to each of their characters was played. First up was Armin and his love confession to Annie on the ship (no pun intended). Inoue expressed interest in the complex feelings between them, and is curious to see where it goes because, unlike the other two, she hasn’t read the ending yet.

Next was Mikasa, who was given the redux of her “See you later, Eren” scene from the start of the series. Ishikawa was really excited for everyone to understand the meaning of those words, but managed to hold herself back from spoiling us.

Finally we had Eren with his breakdown in front of Ramzi. Kaji referred to this scene as Eren expressing his honne. In Japanese culture it is often said that people have a public face, tatemae, and a private face, honne. This is very true of Eren. Kaji commented that, although Eren is acting like a scary titan, this scene shows us he is human at heart after all.

Kaji found it very difficult to talk about the scene further without spoiling anything, but what he did say was very interesting. He expressed his inner conflict over Eren’s actions: acknowledging their awfulness, but understanding the desire to protect the people close to you. Having been with the character for such a long time now, he told us that, ultimately, he wants to be his ally. This was immediately followed up with a pained expression and the rider that “it’s complicated”.

I was really impressed by how deeply Kaji understands Eren. It’s exactly what you’d want from a lead actor, to have such a connection with their character. Interestingly, the word he used for ‘ally’, 味方 (mikata), is the same one Historia uses when she rescues Eren.

After this, the presenter mentioned perhaps the biggest event from the last episode: Hange’s death. Kaji reflected that, although it’s tragic, Hange must be happy to be with their senpai again.

Then came various announcements of events for the SNK anime’s 10th anniversary. You can find all these on the anime’s Twitter page. The merchandise collab with the Gudetama ‘Lazy Egg’ character drew a laugh from everyone.

Another landmark was SNK Radio’s 100th episode. Kaji was fiercely proud of this. He gave a booming YOROSHIKU ONEGAISHIMASU and an inordinately deep bow when he asked us to tune in.

A video compiling key moments from across all four seasons was then played on the projector. Inoue was conflicted, wanting to go “Woah!” on the one hand, but also “Nooo” because it’s ending. Ishikawa agreed there was a certain painful feeling.

The actors will be giving their last interview for the series at K Arena, Yokohama in 2024. Like Inoue, Kaji said he can’t look forward to it because he doesn’t want everything to end – but that he is excited nevertheless. There was a cute moment when a baby started crying and Kaji joked around with a dad in the crowd.

For the finale, the audience were instructed to stand and give a Survey Corps salute on Kaji’s SHINZO WO SASAGEYO, which filled the hall without the aid of a microphone. Ishikawa smiled and waved in my general direction while she left, so I can die content.

The Red Stage, where this interview took place, had no room for ticketless bystanders, so I really was lucky to get in. At the Blue Stage, I was able to peek over the stanchions to watch the BokuYaba and Tokyo Revengers interviews. I didn’t take notes on these, but I can sum up what I remember if anyone’s interested.

Oh she’s a mess, completely lost, she can’t form one coherent sentence around you without her internal monologue being “Awwwww” ever since you opened your mouth, she’s putty in your hands and she’s all in for it, gushing to her friends about how perfect you are in every possible moment.

At one day, talking to her, she starts sulking about her volleyball team, talking as if they already lost before the games even started and you state that her team will do their best and they shouldn’t talk like that.

She responded by feeling a bit embarrassed from giving up even before trying, apologizing. But you motivate her, and when you’re talking about chances with your eyes sparkling and gesticulating some volleyball moves she realizes that her feelings for you were way bigger than just a “strong friendship”.

You made a charm for her game and decided to give it to her in person but walking to her class you overheard a conversation about… you? “Ohhh, come on Yui, tell us what’s been going on with you and Y/N”, she seemed nervous answering way too fast “THERE’S NOTHING GOING ON!! She’s just my friend… unfortunately.”, you really hope no one heard you gasping as her friends gush “SO YOU DO LIKE HER!!!!”

She found it weird when you didn’t walk her home that day but decided to brush it off as you texted her you were busy and you so were, putting together the perfect confession to which she beamed saying yes, crying about how cute what you assembled was.

She’s so lovestruck and keeps following you around like a happy lost puppy, listens to everything you have to say even when it doesn’t look like it, you could be ranting angry and she’s smiling “Really?” with a relaxed voice, she can’t believe you’re hers.

She looks so unaffected by your cuteness, she treats you just like a friend would, and it’s so frustrating because you’ve had a crush on her for so long and your strongest weapon is useless against her, and your days are fine but it does haunt you in your sleepless nights.

Little did you know, she was also crushing on you, not because of your cuteness, but because of how you listen when she talks. She’s so used to people rambling to her no end but you don’t, you just listen, ask and comment to the point where she’s the one rambling and she’s obsessed with it, but you’re so popular there’s no way you could like her, right?

She saw you at the bleachers in her game, you were so starstruck watching her play, expanding your feeling to everyone around you, a sense of pride filled her chest, and she made a mental note to look for you later, and thank you for cheering on her and her team, you congratulated them on the game and exchanged numbers with her.

The occasional “good morning” and “good luck on your next game” turned into texting each other 24/7, without interrupting studies and practices of course, and when you sent a silly selfie she caught herself smiling at it a bit longer than she would’ve wanted to, just to realize she was seeing you everywhere and she didn’t want to be just friends.

She invited you over to talk and after a few weird silences and uncomfortable shifting at her chair she finally confessed and you didn’t wait a second more to jump in her arms and gush about how long you’ve been thinking about this moment.

Your cuteness gives her strength, she sees your warmth and brightness blinding and dissolving any insecurity, fear or obstacle in her way, she feels her most vigorous when you’re with her, and she would do anything and everything to protect and take care of you.

✎ Deku had been your boyfriend for two years now and you wouldn’t wish it any other way. Of course, you didn’t tell anyone besides your parents/guardians about it because you only felt it right they know. Also, you didn’t want to draw too much attention to him, since you knew he had fangirls that would be all over him if they knew he had a s/o. So, imagine your face when you leave your phone on your desk to go grab a piece of paper the teacher wanted you to get off their desk and you come back to one of the popular girls making googly eyes at your phone.

“Y/n! Where’d you get this picture? I haven’t seen it around yet!” She asked, turning your phone around and pointing at your Lock Screen

If it wouldn’t have been such a terrifying situation you would have laughed at the adorable picture of your boyfriend. He was holding a stuffed bunny you had gotten him, and wearing some bunny ears he had found at a store.

“Oh, I-.” You started, but where cut off by the girl. You thought her name was Sakura but you weren’t positive.

“Oh my gosh, are you on one of those like secret discord’s that hack into his camera roll!” Sakura questioned, adding a gasp at the end.

“Well….no….I’m not that big of a fan.” You say, adding a nervous laugh at the end.

You didn’t like this situation, not in the slightest. You wanted her to put your phone down and to leave you alone. No, it’s not like your a “not like other girls” type of person where you like to be “alone” so you could “daydream”. These particular girls just liked to get in everyone’s business, and you didn’t want them in your’s unless necessary. Though you had friends, they just didn’t go to this school.

“Sakura, what are you doing over there?” Her friend, Yui called from across the room.

“Yui, you have to see this picture y/n has of Deku, it’s so cute!” Sakura swuealed.

Yui got up from her seat and came to look over Sakura shoulder at your phone. Her expression was one of suprise as she looked at the photo.

“That’s the guy who almost won the sports festival! He was against that other dude….Shoto I think was his name. They’re both super hot.” Yui said

“I know right! I wonder if they are dating anyone.” Sakura speculated.

“Well…actually…” You started, kind of getting a tad bit upset that they where talking about your boyfriend like that. Though, I mean, they didn’t know you two where dating, so you couldn’t get too mad.

“I mean, but, in reality that Deku kid is so awkward. It’s like he can’t even keep a good conversation. But, I mean, he’s hot and popular.” Sakura said.

“I know, I know. That Todoroki kid has that ugly scar on his face. It’s a shame, he’s be perfect if it weren’t for that. And, his personality could use a bit of work, he seems so bland.” Yui agreed

“Hey, they are both wonderful people. Sure, Izu might have trouble keeping conversation with new people, but everyone has their fears. And Shoto’s great just the way he is.” You interjected, the slightest bit of defensiveness coming into your voice.

They both turned around to look at you and just stared at you for a second. You wondered what was going on, why where they staring? I mean yeah, you stood up for the two boys but that wasn’t new, a lot of people had comeback’s for the popular girls when they would say things. Then, it hit you, you had called them by their nicknames, not their formal hero names.

“Izu? Awe, that’s so adorable. Almost sounds like you know him personally y/n. You must be reading too much fanfic.” Sakura commented

“And Shoto, are you on a first name basis with him too. Please, I’m sure you’ve never even been in the same room as him.” Yui continued on the trail of insults Sakura had started

“Well actually, me and Deku have been dating for about two years now. As for Shoto, he’s a really good friend, and I couldn’t sit here and let you insult them.” You blurted out, your emotions of anger starting to take over.

There was a moment of silence where the two girls just sat in their seats and looked at you. Sakura had long ago, without you noticing, sat your phone back on your desk. You picked it up quickly in the awkward silence. Though, the silence was broken by hysterical laughter coming from the two girls.

“Oh y/n, you don’t actually believe you and Deku are dating so you? He’s so strong and popular, and your so…..normal and bland.” Sakura stated, recovering from her fit of laughter.

“Really, you should hear yourself. You sound so stupid y/n. You don’t have to lie to get attention you know.” Yui added

“I’m not lying, I’m being serious.” You insisted

As if on cue your phone rang and you turned it over in your hands to see who it was. However, before you got the chance to see Sakura snatched it out of your hands.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. Y/n, this is just embarrassing. You really downloaded one of those fake apps so it would look like Deku was calling you. That’s pathetic.” Sakura laughed, pressing the hang up button.

She lightly goosed your phone, it landing on your desk with a small thud. You were fed up with this, why would these two girls care so much? Why did they have to mess with you of all people.

As the bell finally rang, you got up from your seat and took your things. As you walked out of the building, Sakura and Yui behind you laughing and talking loudly about the events that had just happened, you spotted someone.

A certain green haired boy was standing outside the building waiting patiently for you. Seeing his big green eyes and content smile as he saw you made your mood instantly clear. Though, before you could run to him and give him a hug, you where shoved away by Sakura, followed by Yui.

“Oh my gosh! It can’t be! Is that you Deku!” Sakura squealed running up to your boyfriend.

“Oh, uh, hi?”Deku greeted nervously, slowly backing away from the over excited fangirl.

“What are you doing here? Coming to see us?” Yui asked innocently, batting her eyelashes.

Izuku let out a nervous laugh then said

“I’m actually here to uhm, pick up y/n. We have a date this afternoon.I tried calling her but she must have been in class because the call got declined” He told them, letting slight blush and a small smile grace his face.

You recovered from the shove and watched the whole thing go down. The funniest part being the surprised looks on Sakura and Yui’s faces when they discovered you were right.

You walked up beside Izuku and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He looked at you and smiled a soft smile. Sakura and Yui still standing there in disbelief.

“There is no way your dating this dork!” Yui exclaimed

“Y/n’s not a dork. Well, I mean she can be but not in a negative way. “ He defended you, grasping your hand in his.

“Ugh, whatever, so your dating big deal.

Your just gonna leave her anyways right?” Sakura interjected

“I would never leave y/n!” Deku insisted

You felt your cheeks slowly heat up at the way he was defending you. You promised yourself to thank him a million times over later for his words.

“If you’ll excuse us, we’ll be leaving now.” You said, turning around and tugging on Izu’s hand, as an indication to follow. Leaving a stunned Sakura and Yui in the dust.

✎ Shinsou “I have passed out your tests, you may review them during the last ten minutes of class.” The teachers voice rang throughout the classroom. Hina, a girl who was adored by all, passed the dwindling stack of paper towards you. After taking your test off the top, you turned and passed it to Himari, Hina best friend.

Sitting in between the two quote on quote “populist girls” was the most annoying thing ever known to man. No, you did not claim to be “one of the boys” or “not like other girls”. But if you had to listen to “I only got 1 hour of sleep last night” or “look, I wore a black choker, I’m so emo.” One more time, you were gonna punch someone.

No, you weren’t a gatekeeper, you just didn’t like that they made fun of people who actually enjoyed and embraced the emo aesthetic, but yet they wanted to be “so cool and emo” five seconds later. It didn’t make any sense.

You looked down at your test, smiling slightly at the 93 that was in red pen at the top of the paper. You had studied so hard, pulling many all nighters with your boyfriend. He didn’t even go to the same school as you, but he was still honored to help you study. He was an insomniac after all. So, it wasn’t like he wasn’t already up anyways.

You blinked, stifling a yawn as you read through your test. You hadn’t slept well at all last night, nervous about the test you had today. You also hadn’t had your morning coffee, you woke up late and where in too much in a rush to have time to fix it.

The classroom was alive with chatter and laughing from all the other students, especially Hina and Himari.

“Can you believe that guy at the sports festival?” Himari said.

“I know right, he was so hot with his purple hair and mysterious looks.” Hina agreed

“And his quirk! So villainous and attractive!” Himari added

You hated that since you where in the middle of them that they would just completely act like you weren’t there. They could be like “Hey, do you know the guy we are talking about?” So you could be like, “Yeah, he’s my boyfriend. Now pleas respectfully shut it.”

“His quirk’s just brainwashing, it’s not villainous. It’s actually really helpful and cool.” You interjected.

The two girls looked at you, stunned to see you actually put yourself in their conversation for once.

“Yeah right. Brainwashing is such a villain move. But, he’d make a super attractive villain. If I where to get kidnapped, I’d definitely want it to be by him.” Himari said.

“Please, if anyone’s gonna be a villain here, it’s gonna be y/n. Always wearing dark colors and baggy clothing. “ Hina joked

“So true, and then y/n will be single for the rest of their life. Well, I mean, no matter if their a villian or not.” Himari laughed at her own insult.

“Hey, I’ll have you two know I have a boyfriend. Unlike you guys who talk to 17 different guys on snap and can’t get a single date planned out.” You burst out, mad at them for poking fun at you.

“Pleas, y/n, I have SO many more guts after me than you do. Please, if me and Shinsou ever met, we would click right away. Dream couple I’d say.” Himari explained

“Who’s your boyfriend anyways? Is he some boy you read about in one of your books?” Hina taunted

“Actually, my boyfriend, is Hitoshi Shinsou.” You stated firmly.

The two girls gasped and then had a moment of silence. They both looked at each other, then looked back at you, then looked at each other again, as if they could read each other’s minds through their looks.

“That’s….nice y/n…” Hina said with a very fake tone of happiness

“There is no way this dork and that hottie are dating.” I caught Himari mouthing to Hina.

“I know right, she’s so….basic and he’s so…gorgeous.” Hina mouthed back.

As the bell rang you got up immediately and grabbed your things. Not bothering to tell Himari and Hina that you could read lips. Walking to the outside of the building, You spotted Hitoshi, waiting whilst looking at his phone.

You rushed over to him and gave him a tight hug, the joy of passing your test hitting you again. Breathing his lavender scent befor you pulled away.

“Did you get my message?” He asked with a small smile.

“Oh, sorry. Haven’t checked my phone.” You say, pulling your phone out of your pocket to look at said message.

Hey, if it’s okay Iwas gonna pick you up for coffee this afternoon after you get out of school. My treat, as a reward for all the work and effort you put into your test. I’m sure you passed with flying colors. Love you!

You smiled at the message he had sent you, looking back up into his purple eyes.

“Of course I’ll go get coffee with you!” You agreed to the offer.

“Y/n?! Is that you? With a boy?” Hina exclaimed, running up to you, Himari not far behind

“Are these your…uh…friends?” Hitoshi asked you as you moved to stand beside him.

“Oh, no, we aren’t friends with y/n.” Himari corrected

“We don’t prefer hanging out with dorks.” Hina said

“Ah, I see.” Hitoshi said, rolling his eyes.

“So, why are you dating her? Is it cause you feel sorry for her?” Himari asked

“I’m dating Y/n because she’s a wonderful dork to hang around and much better than girls like you who feel the need to insult people. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be going now.” Hitoshi Said, turning around with your hand in his, and leading the way to the coffee place.

You owed him a kiss and a lot of thank you’d for his kind words.

Eerie. If there was one word to describe your current situation with Atsumu, that would exactly be the perfect term for it. As you sat across one another in a booth in a restaurant that Osamu apparently found for him (he says it’s the “best place” for the both of you to properly make up, you called it the “Osamu utters another bullshit” place), you find yourself unequipped of words to tell him, something you found odd considering you never had any dull or awkward moment with him. Well, at least not until our feelings got in the way, you thought, letting out a quiet sigh as you poked your food with the fork, completely aware of the stare that the blonde holds on you.

He fidgets in his seat, opening and closing his mouth as he tries to form his words because what else can he say aside from apologies (that he thinks are probably useless given that right after saying sorry, he finds another way to hurt you)? He doesn’t really have any other choice though so he takes a deep breath and begins his sentence, “YN, I’m really so-”

“Don’t even think about finishing that sentence or I might just stab you with this,” you cut him off, waving the fork you were holding in his face, snickering at his wide eyes that was accompanied by a large gulp. You put it down and place your chin on your hand, leaning your head towards it as you stared him down (more like glare, in his perspective), “Just wanna let you know, this will be the last apology I’ll ever get and accept.”

Observing the confusion that became more and more evident in his face, you continue, “Because if you hurt me one more time, then that’s it. I’m really gonna cut off my ties with you because that just proves to me that everything about this,” you gesture towards you and him, “is not meant to be… as friends.”

Not even as soulmates. In a pathetic attempt to make everything seem like it’s fine, you grab the glass that was right by your arm; the harsh flow of cold water down your throat is not even close to beating the suffocation of the truth that dawned upon you. How ironic - everything is just a cycle that keeps on repeating over and over again yet for some reason, the agony remains all the same. It never gets less and if anything, becomes more to the point that it just torments you every single moment of your breath. Always so pathetic, YN, always.

“YN…” he trails off but you hold your hand up, letting him know that you were not yet finished.

“So, make sure that this is the last. You know we both deserve so much more than a friendship that keeps on pulling and pushing us. We weren’t like this before, Atsumu,” you state as a matter of fact, sadly smiling as he bowed his head down, “what happened to us?”

Deep down, you already knew the answer to your question. No matter how much you wanted to deny it, deny her entire existence, you can’t. Because that would mean denying Atsumu and the happiness he desires. Yet at the same time, you just can’t let go of him. 

“Yui happened,” he whispers, “I just… it’s inexcusable, the way I kept on pushing ya aside and hurting ya because of her… but I just… I thought she was her yanno? For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to meet my soulmate and Yui was just so bright and nice and I guess I got this hope in me that maybe she’s her… but she wasn’t and it’s so frustrating.” 

The disappointment and sadness in his face squeezed your heart that thumped against your chest, the longingness that had always resided within you struggling to get out and give him a hug. As he spilled his heart out to you, you couldn’t help the guilt that began spreading in your mind, he wasn’t the coward; you were. 

“It feels so frustrating to be so clueless every single time. I guess that’s why I took it out on ya, because I felt somewhat jealous that ya can see the threads and I can’t and for the rest of my life, I’ll be lost, wondering who my true soulmate is. And the fact that yer leaving me soon too… everything’s just so messy inside me, yanno? So I’m sorry for that, YN. I’m not excusing myself from the pain nor am I dismissing yer feelings but I hope ya understand where I’m coming from too,” he quietly speaks, fiddling with his fingers.

“Atsumu… I-”

“I said that but YN, I think I’m done waiting for my soulmate. I… I don’t want to seem selfish but… it has been too long of waiting… I’ve always tried to find them myself even though I don’t have abilities like yours. Thinking about it now, maybe they just don’t want to be found? Because if they did know me, wouldn’t they have told me right at the moment they met me? So, can’t you just cut off my thread please?”

And right at that moment, you felt your heart plummet down to the deepest and darkest abyss of your insides. He’s given up and you still can’t bring yourself to tell him the truth. I don’t want to give you up, please, not yet… You want to beg him; to just give you a little bit more time, a little bit more courage, a little bit more attention in hopes that he’ll see. Please, just look at me, look at me and you’ll find what you’ve been looking for, Tsum. 

But the desperation in his face reels you back to the reality that he doesn’t want you; he wants some other girl, someone who can never be you and you find your heart being engulfed with bitterness so you scoff and stand up, “This bullshit again? Realization dawned upon him and immediately, he tried reaching out to you with his hand.

“It’s okay…” you choked, pulling back from him and taking a deep breath, no longer giving any effort to stop the tears that now freely flowed down your cheeks, “I understand. I’m sorry that I care for you then.”

He opens his mouth, ready to say yet another apology but he knows… he knows it was futile now. He watches you as you hastily wipe your cheeks from any tear stain but they kept on coming so you felt yourself get frustrated even more. Stop being so pathetic for once, YN, for god’s sake!

“You know, Atsumu? I always feel like we’re in a seesaw that just never stays balanced. It’s either one of us is on the top while the other’s down and it just… gets so fucking tiring trying to understand you.” You took a deep breath, pursing your lips as you finally felt the courage within you. Let's judge fairly. Yui had her development too. It's not like she didn't have any development.

// I wouldn’t necessarily call it development, I would rather say the story itself advanced and she grew accustomed to the circumstances. Over the course of the games, she got better at managing the Diaboys since you get to know someone after spending a lot of time with them and well… she also started acting more cheeky and bolder with them, for the reason that they started dating. She didn't know Karlheinz well in HDB and MB, so she didn't have any opinion about him, but in DF and CL, she called him out after Karl revealed how much of a jerk he is. It's not like she wouldn't have done that earlier if she had known the truth about him from the beginning—she called out Cordelia in the first game, after all.

However, I do think there are two particular scenes where they tried to highlight some major (?) development.

One is from Ayato's MB route, when she acknowledged acting in a selfish manner and concentrating solely on her feeling rather than on Ayato too, who was also having difficulties. She came to the realization that Ayato isn't perfect, despite being cute and giving her pleasure, and learned to accept him for all of his good and bad traits.

The other one is from Laito’s LE route, in which Reiji tries to make her understand that not believing in your lover can be very painful and that it’s not okay talking like that behind his back.

The message itself was good but this is the type of forced character development I have mixed feelings about. They didn’t have to make Yui act like that because it only portrays her as the bad one here. Yui is the first person Laito has ever opened up to and she was well aware that Laito hates Karlheinz, so getting his powers would undoubtedly damage him, yet she kept failing to understand that, despite the fact that they’ve been dating for some months and should have known better. The scene in which she says that Laito knows everything about her, yet she knows nothing about him only makes her appear so foolish in order to generate conflict. Like… come on, how can the heroine claim such a thing after dating a guy for SIX games?? Plus, the reasons of Laito’s actions were OBVIOUS that not even Reiji could entirely put the blame on him based on his situation.

As for Ayato’s MB route, I can’t entirely put the blame on her; I mean… Ayato is super good-looking and could probably pull anyone, but I can’t comprehend how she failed to realize that he has negative traits too?? It should be crystal clear that nobody is perfect and that everyone has their own issues, so you can’t beg someone to consider you special if they don’t feel like it.

It would have been 10 times better if Rejet actually tried to overcome her weaknesses, instead of adding new flaws. No, writing the heroine to suddenly have a shallow or selfish mindset only to make her “become a better person after realizing her mistakes” was not needed at all. And it’s also not fun making a character learn the same lesson in more games.

The best scene, in which they could have genuinely made her evolve as a person, was in Carla’s LE route, when she admitted wanting to help him and the ghouls. It would have been nice seeing Carla putting faith in her and giving her an important yet hard task. Seeing Yui try her best to do it right, even if she was struggling at first, would have been such a cute moment. But nope, they decided to push her aside instead.

Other than that, idk if becoming a masochist and less sane as in the beginning count as development, lol, but if it does then it works like that too.

I get that it’s an otome game and most people play it for the guys but I feel like the heroine deserves to have her own storyline where she discovers herself and improves. DL feels more like the Diaboys' journey than her own, which is ironic because she’s the HEROINE, and in her most recent appearance, Rejet literally described her as “Ayato’s lover” without even using her name. I don’t really think the developers care that much about her, otherwise I doubt they’d be ok with all her character inconsistencies.

Yui is my favorite heroine because I find her really cute and likeable, plus I relate to her, but I’m aware of the fact that a likeable character does not equal a good one. She’s your average early 2010s heroine, who could have been indeed better written but serves her purpose, which is still good.

Yui is one of those people who would've been freezing no matter the temperature, like her hands are warm compared to the boys, but for a human it's freezing.

So she always buys oversized hoodies and jumpers to cover her arms ya know aside from temperature also scars . Ruki once gave her his blazer, which ayato noticed so he gave her his hoodie. Laito wanted to piss ayato off so he gave her his cardigan. Suburu got pissed so he gave her a sweater- and to annoy suburu Shu gave her his cardigan. Reiji has no clue what's going on because his brothers never tell him anything, and only finds out when kanato throws a tantrum because his jumper is small on Yui. Just brotherly tings

Shu an Yui and azusa are just one of those platonic soulmate things, yeah I know there personalities are way too different but they actually bonded over trauma together really well

The difference being instead of trauma bonding and holding each other in a constant toxic relationship, they have things they each enjoy and have very similar vibes

Shu and azusa are still a cold but with Yui there they mesh together really well

They walk around in those groups of three at lunch times and both their families are against it but these mfs, bond over Yuma, cute animals, they're pretty quiet and aren't rowdy so they suit each others preference. They're also pretty big empaths, Shu is probably most knowledgeable about emotions in the sakamaki's, azusa doesn't judge any of them, and yui is the definition of pure affection. Azusa and Shu also get along pretty well when teasing Yui, to Shu azusa is basically like Subaru.

Subaru joins the group too but their vibes are way too calm for him

Shu accidentally made ayato cry when they were kids because Cordelia used to send him to train with Shu, and Shu said he was proud of ayato

Suburu actually used to look up to laito once when they were kids and understood his situation but the older laito grew the more he treated women how suburu's mother was treated. And suburu just sort of lost hope

The mukami brothers have movie marathons and they let Yui pick which movie they were gonna binge, and she got all emotional because azusa was like well you're part of the family too

Carla and yui have had soft moment, where he asked her about her life at the church and she accidentally told him about how she wanted her wedding as a little girl

Carla remembers everything and promised himself he'll give her a wedding exactly like it

Yui is extremely smart and moved up a grade, she was paired with Shu and now they're study buddies

Shu thought it would be annoying because she'd make him do stuff he didn't want to like his mother, but Yui understood how much pressure he had as an heir. Because of Seiji being head of the church, she always had to be perfect to not soil the komori reputation.

Ayato and Yui would be one of those couples that are way too sweet, but hardly have arguments. Yui isn't passive but she can tell when ayato jokes or not, and ayato can tell she's really sincere about how much she cares for him

These mfs would get matching plaid PJ's and make food together at 2 am, and all that soft stuff

Ayato would probably boast how his Yui is always right, he still makes fun of her assets

But this one time at a ball this girl approaches him, exactly his type but he doesn't even notice because he couldn't find Yui; and it's hilarious because laito now looks up to ayato whilst also calling him a fool for how head over heels he is

Ayato of course denies everything

Reiji and yui make cute tea biscuits together, eventually reiji develops a habit to make tea time treats for her and keep them separate because he can't have anyone but her eat them

Reiji was never given much credit, but this man may not show it but everytime Yui compliments him he's putty in her hands

And honestly he never seriously took his father saying marrying Yui was the only way to the throne, but now he doesn't mind because he thinks Yui would be a great mother to his kids

Yui actually helps with kanato's insomnia, he's constantly plagued by his mother but once he find out his mother resides in Yui he sleeps next to her sometimes as an experiment to see if she could ever hurt him.

He never figured out why his mom chose a vessel so different but teddy told him he prefers Yui, so kanato prefers Yui too obviously because teddy told him no other reason.

Shu would hate his life as the vampire king without Yui I think, he's one of those people who when they open up they want all of it

He's probably one of those soft father's whose really close to them when they were toddlers singing them lullabies and probably reading to them, and he probably also picked out their names with alot of care. But once they grow up he's a lot more laid back

This plan to him was quite odd and he honestly didn't see which route this man was going. Yes he chose to be in cahoots with this man but only to be free... Coming to America was probably the oddest thing he's ever done.. of course moving from home to here was simple, no commotion.. but he could tell his brothers were on edge.

Ruki, after the whole livestock-Yui- dying thing... He most definitely blamed it on the other brothers... I mean who wouldn't... Anyways, after that he didn't know what he was doing still following orders for Karlheinz. Did he have something planned or... did he just do this to cause some ruckus?

Ruki didn't see any issue with going to school here, especially since the blood smelt oddly amazing... but he doesn't have any interest in anyone here... he can say that the females here are quite expressive and they sort of have their own flow... though when his eyes gazed upon someone else.. his eyes widened..

The male didn't expect to see such beauty casted before his eyes. The sunlight was beaming off the darker skin of a girl. Her eyelashes long and her attire.. not so slutty, but enough to show off her curves. Ruki wasn't blind to American knowledge, and he knows you're a black woman obviously... Though he can't understand why he hasn't seen this in person.

Ruki watched as your eyes glared the teacher, he could already tell from where he was sitting.. that you were a handful... though that only caused him to make up these scenarios in his mind... he wanted you to be his of course, he wanted to rip the attitude away from you... make you call him master... and in his way of thinking... he already knew of a way to get you hooked...

Let's just say, later on in the week... his body was in front of you... that nasty smirk casted on his face... listening to your loud beating heart.. he already had you under his control.. well.. mostly.

The only brother really taking it hard? Though not so much because he found out that he has actually more fans here than.... over at his old school. Reasons unknown... though he wasn't complaining.. especially with the millions of different toned females.. Kou had never seen such beauty...

Kou is used to the pale skin, he himself has pale skin... though seeing these other females who had brown skin, dark skin... his first thought was 'goddesses..?' But that wasn't the case. He also liked the different scents of blood. They were all oddly stronger than more paler people.. he just couldn't wait to sink his teeth into one of them... one of them would have to be fascinated with him.

The females in this school tend to be more on the sneaky side of things, Kou noticed that but his hearing is enhanced so he listens to conversations when he passes by... he may give the girl a flirty smile too... only to see her cover her mouth and look away in embarrassment.

Kou also noticed how many people had earbuds in, closing themselves from the outside world. But he was more interested in this one girl who was sitting alone at lunch. Her hair was so pretty to him, as well as the nails that happened to match her outfit.. he could tell people fawned over her.. considering the people staring at her.. though he couldn't help but realize that she didn't care... softly mumbling the most seductive words to a song with her glossy lips...

He wanted to see her under him, he wanted to see her moaning his name.. Let's just say he's pretty close to doing so... because it wasn't a week later until he had you interested in him.

"Kou, don't fuckin play with me..."

"If you'd like your phone back, kitty... you'll have to give me something in return~!"

"Damn Whatchu want? Not me because you... can't handle me..."

Kou loved your sass... to the point where he did things like this.. just to see you try to get rough with him..

Yuma wouldn't say... he didn't like this huge change.. he wouldn't say he liked it either.. he was in the firm middle. Obviously he has to plant new tomatoes in his new garden.. and he obviously has to get used to the new people.. they seemed aggressive like him so he actually found it funny...

He found himself being stared at most the time because well, he is tall.. but he also is quite fine. Yuma figured these girls were crazy, he wouldn't say he didn't have fangirls at his old school but they were mostly into his other brothers or the Sakamaki brothers.. but it seemed like he got the more attention now...

He even found himself being invited to watch a whole cheerleading practice.. in which Kou came along because he'd never seen a cheerleading team before.. their old school didn't allow it.

Anyways, Yuma figured he'd be bored about this whole thing but he ended up choking on a sugar cube when he saw one of the girls on the floor doing a dance routine that caused her thighs to jiggle like jello... and the way she moved... she did it fiercely... We all know Yuma likes rude females... so when he heard how loud you were, commanding the other girls to follow your lead... he felt his ears get red.

The dude was in such a trance, especially since your hair was in a cute puff/bun with braids/bun. He also couldn't help but stare at your skin, yeah everyone else had the same dark skin... different shade of course but yours mixed with your beauty was alluring.

He then noticed that the females stopped cheering and your (e/c) eyes were staring right at him when you walked up the bleachers... a smirk casting upon your face when you grabbed your bag that was right beside him...

Oh yeah, he wanted to see you in action... so to test your limit.. over the past weeks he's just been being such a child... but you were used to it at this point.

"Oi, get ya panties outta my Damn face"

You just rolled your eyes as you stood up straight from bending over, looking back at him.

Maybe this whole moving thing was a bit frustrating to him as well... but when arriving to America... he noticed a few things... there were people who didn't know how to stop staring but there were also people who tend to mind their business..

People would always criticize him but now it's like.. nobody was really bold enough to do so.. It made him feel more better about doing the things he does.. Though there was multiple teachers asking if he was alright.. and actually he couldn't really respond to them.. so they let him go most of the time.. right now he was in the nurses office... some teacher saw him with a deep cut...

Anyways, Azusa was sure his brothers were frantically looking for him.. considering when Azusa leaves a spot from them.. it's never alright or good..? They were also in a whole new area...

"I'll be with you in a moment (y/n).."

The deep and rich scent coming from around the corner made him slightly jolt. He wasn't expecting such a nice scent to burst into this room.. though when he saw your chocolate/caramel skin come through the door... he immediately forgotten that staring wasn't really something you shouldn't do in America. Though he couldn't stop, his eyes hazily looking up to the top of your head. He noticed that your eyelashes were pretty and long, your lips smelled like cherry, he could smell it from where he was sitting.. but he would compare you to a nice piece of chocolate.. even though he doesn't really.. eat.

Apparently you had a deep cut from a box... you were helping one of the teachers out and got punished for it? That was just rude of the box...

Anyways, your (e/c) eyes looked around before landing on Azusa. His eyes softly staring at you, and lord did he look sad.. his whole aura was depressing but also happy? You gave him a light smile and it made his stomach flutter... just smiling back slowly as he looked down at his hands in his lap... you were pretty to him.. and you had this sense of love coming from you... like a mother..

Over time, his brothers noticed him acting somewhat different? Eventually he'd gotten advice and now you were just so attached to him.

"Azusa, baby.. I know you can't help it but..." you couldn't say more, you just started wrapping up his wounds.

"I'm... sorry (y/n)....."

When he notices he'd probably be all >:0!!! Will then put in extra care to make sure he's not flustering or embarrassing you in public. Thinks you're absolutely adorable tho if you like to hide behind him!

Haruichi -> An angel! So so comforting and notices your timid behavior immediately. Will go out of his way to make sure he's not pushing you out of your comfort zone.

Furuya -> Takes a long time to notice your behavior, poor thing can be a bit dense at times. He is a TALL boy so he's perfect for hiding your face in his chest whenever flustered (He always mumbles a soft "cute" under his breath when you do this) Doesn't mind if you're not very talkative, he actually really enjoys the quiet moments the two of you share.

Toujou -> Toujou is a pretty outgoing guy so if you're in a social situation he has no trouble doing all the talking for you! Doesn't give you a chance to feel shy around him bc of how welcoming and warm his presence is.

Kanemaru -> Protective. Hates seeing you uncomfortable so he's always trying to avoid situations that would spark that reaction. He's a huge softy with you and is always letting you hold his hand or cling to his arm.

Kuramochi -> Your shy behavior is the first thing he noticed about you. Very protective of you. Ya know the "they asked for no pickles" meme? That's how your relationship is. Doesn't make a huge deal about your reserved personality, he loves you and that's all that matters.

Miyuki -> Ah Miyuki is gonna tease you so much. It's very light-hearted tho. Not the biggest fan of you using him as a shield or hiding spot, but he eventually gets used to it. Won't push you to speak if you're not comfortable. Miyuki let's you do you, he's not going to force you to do things against your will.

Kawakami -> Nori knows what it's like to be a more introverted person so he's very understanding. Would buck up enough courage to do things for you if you can't do them yourself. Loves having quiet indoor dates with you where you're both comfortable and safe behind closed doors.

Tetsuya -> He's a very stoic person so there's not much of a reaction to your behavior? Definitely looks out for you tho. He lets you fidget with his hand/fingers if you need something to calm your nerves.

Jun -> You're like the most precious, innocent thing in his eyes and would burn Tokyo to the ground if you were ever hurt. He's very gentle when around you and blushes so hard if you hide behind him.

Ryousuke -> Evil. Non-stop teasing he is relentless. Says stuff like "Speak up, dear~" or "Cat got your tongue?" Will beat the shit out of anyone who teases you tho; that's his job not theirs. He's very indifferent on the outside but let me tell you his heart melts anytime you grab onto his sleeves for comfort.

Chris -> Chris is an absolute SAINT! Reassures you constantly that there's nothing wrong with being timid. Treats you with care and speaks in such a gentle tone that it just pulls you out of your shell.

Okumura -> He's such an awkward boy. Knows you're shy but doesn't know if he should do anything to help?? Hates when people force others to do things so he'll speak up on your behalf if you don't want to.

Yui -> Such a little gentleman :') courteous and isn't bothered by your shy demeanor in the slightest! Surprisingly he's pretty good at coaxing you into conversations (whether it's between just the two of you or a group of people) If you hide your face in his chest he will self combust and not know how to function.

Sanada -> Such a chill dude. You being shy doesn't phase him at all, just kind of sends you a sweet smile and pulls you into his side. Would definitely be the kind of person to order food for you if your nerves got the best of you.

Raichi -> He's also a shy boy so you can be flustered together!! Will try his absolute best to get you to be less reserved but in actuality he's just a floundering mess. Won't push you to speak or do things bc he hates when people do that to him. His arms are always open if you need a place to hide away from public!

Mei -> A weird mixture of fawning over and teasing you. Like thinks your behavior is adorable but he can also pull stunts similar to what Ryou does. Although, Mei's definitely able to be serious and go into boyfriend mode if he can tell that you're particularly uncomfortable.

“You were jealous,” you said slowly, looking at Osamu with wide eyes. “That’s why you are dating Yuna?”

“Can we not talk about this,” Osamu said, looking away, “I just want to do the video and get this over with before practice starts again.”

“Hold up,” Suna said, pointing at Osamu with a shocked expression, “are you saying that you do like (Y/n)?”

“He/I never said that,” both you and Osamu said together.

“Right,” Suna nodded, “but you are saying you were jealous that (Y/n) went on a date?”

“I never went on a date,” you exclaimed.

“That doesn’t matter,” Suna smirked, “what matters is Osamu was jealous that she went on a date and now is with me.”

“I’m not saying anything,” Osamu sighed, running his hands through his hair in frustration, “I’m just saying I was jealous and maybe a bit jealous she’s with you but that doesn’t matter.”

“But you wish she was with you?” Suna smirked. You looked at the both of them in confusion, trying to figure what was happening. 

“Yes!” Osamu yelled. But his face quickly went into shock when he realized what he said. 

“You do!” Suna yelled back.

“Wait,” Osamu pointed his finger in a halting manner, “no I don’t. 

“Well, which is it?” Suna asked as he looked at him in shock confusion, “Do you want her with you?”

“No, I don’t,” Osamu shook his head.

“Then why were you jealous?” Suna questioned, waiting for his response.

“I don’t know,” Osamu yelled, looking up at the ceiling, “I don’t know why it makes me jealous.”

A silence fell, not a word was said between the two, until Suna whispered, “It could be you like her-”

“Shut up.”

“What do you think (Y/n)?” Suna said, looking in your direction. 

“I think,” you said slowly, “Miya should do the video and just forget about this.”

“But-”

“No, but’s Rin,” you said, holding your phone up to record Osamu, “I got my answer and now it’s time to do the video.”

Suna pouted a bit, as he moved behind you as you started to recorded Osamu’s apolitical video. Osamu was silently thankful you stop Suna from continuing but he did hate he still had to do the video. You signaled him when you clicked the recording button, leading him to sigh as he started to speak. “Akito,” Osamu gritted hit teeth, “I’m sorry for punching you. I hope we can push past this.”

“Perfect!” You said when you stopped recording, “But you could sound more sincere tho…”

“Are we done?” Osamu asked, seeing people are entering the gym.

“Yeah, you can go now,” You nodded, “thank you for the video and the apology.”

Osamu hummed as he walked past you, glaring at Suna when he gave him a smirk. Once Osamu was far enough away, you started to hit Suna’s arm, “You idiot!”

“What did I do?” Suna asked, clutching his arm and rubbing where you hit him.

“I had it covered,” you crossed your arms after putting your phone in your jacket pocket. “And you just had to mess it up.”

“I was helping you,” Suna replied, following you as you started to walk away. But you ignored him. “Come on! (Y/n)!”

“He said he was jealous?” Yui asked as you and Sara sat on her bed.

Nodding your head, you hugged the pillow closer to you as you told the story. “Yeah…” you said softly, “and Rin kept saying he likes me, but Osamu kept denying it.”

“Maybe he does like you?” Sara pondered, giving you an award smile.

“There is no way he likes me,” you laughed, “yeah, we have our moments where we can be good friends, but we also argue with each other.”

“Moments?” Ichika's voice was heard through the speaker of your phone that laid between you and the other two managers. “What kind of moments?”

“Like friendly moments,” you muttered.

“Like?” Yui raised an eyebrow at you, wanting to know more.

“You know,” you trailed off, “he would… Um…”

“She can’t think of anything because they are all romantic moments,” Yui teased.

“N-No,” you countered, shaking your head, “it’s just there are moments we would have a nice conversation, you know? No argument, no annoying each other. Just a nice, simple conversation.”

“Why do you two dislike each other?” Sara asked with a tilt of her head.

“It was a misunderstanding…” you chuckled, “I thought it was Osamu who nuzzled my chest, but it was Atsumu.”

“What?”

“It’s nothing,” you waved off, “but there was a moment between Osamu and I that was kinda romantic?”

“Oh?” Yui teased you with a smirk, pushing your shoulder in a teasing manner, “Kinda romantic?”

“Please (Y/n),” Ichika's teasing voice was heard through your phone speaker, “tell us about this moment.”

“W-Well,” you said, scratching the back of your neck nervously, “it was after school…”

It was late after school. Most of the students had already got home, but you stayed to help with another club. You stood at the entrance of the school, staring outside with a dull look and a hand out the door. “It’s raining a lot,” you muttered to yourself, feeling the rain hit the palm of your hand. 

Retreating your hand, you crossed your arms, feeling a gush of wind past through you. “I should have checked the weather,” you whimpered, hugging yourself as you shivered, “should I wait until it stops raining?”

“You could,” you heard a voice behind. You quickly turned around, looking at the person with wide in surprise. “But it looks like it ain’t gonna stop.”

“Miya,” you greeted the oldest twin, “why are you here?”

“Could ask ya the same,” Osamu said, standing next to you.”

“I don’t have to answer to ya,” you said, looking up at him with a glare.

“I don’t have to answer to ya either,” Osamu looked down, glaring back at you.

The both of you were glaring at each other, suddenly becoming a staring contest. You let out a huff of annoyance, seeing that Osamu wasn’t going to back down. You felt your eyes started to hurt from having them open for long, but you refuse to back down. But sadly, fate was not on your side.

You let out a small frightful squeal as you flinched at the hard clap of thunder, causing you to closer your eyes.

Dang, it! I lost...

“You’re scared of thunder,” Osamu noted as he looked at you with a blank expression. But it quickly turned into a grim expression, giving you an evil smile, “That’s perfect since it’s going to be a thunderstorm tonight. And you’re stuck here.

Rolling your eyes at him, you put your hands on your hips, “You’re stuck here too, dummy.”

“Nope,” Osamu's evil smile grew, taking an umbrella out of his back and opening it. “I checked the weather this morning.”

“Y-You,” you scowled at him, feeling your eye twitch with annoyance as he gloated.

“I can walk you home if you want,” Osamu teased, holding the umbrella properly and holding it in the space between you, “but only if you ask nicely.”

“I refuse,” you huffed, crossing your arms and looking away from him.

You flinched when you heard Osamu took a step outside, hearing the raindrops hit the umbrella. “Perfect,” Osamu said in a singing voice, “I don’t have to deal with your annoying presence.”

You weren’t going to say anything. You didn’t want to ask him if you could join but when you heard another clap of thunder, you were quick to yell, “Please walk me home!”

“Huh,” Osamu turned around with disbelief. But his face quick morphed into shock when he saw you. Your hand was balled in a tight fist on your sides, your body was facing him, but your eyes were looking away embarrassingly. The top of your cheeks was tinted with red with embarrassment. Your lips were puckered together, creating a small pout on your lips. “S-She kinda looks cute…” Osamu muttered to himself.

“What did you say?” You asked him, looking at him with creased eyebrows, not hearing what he said.

“I said you could join,” Osamu cleared his throat, looking away from you, trying to hide his own embarrassment blush.

You stood still for a moment, trying to process that Osamu in fact said you could join him. “Well?” Osamu asked you, still looking away from you.

Breaking out of your trance, you rushed to his side, seeking shelter underneath his umbrella. “T-Thank you,” you said quietly, holding onto the straps of your bag. Osamu just hummed in response as the two of you started to walk. 

As the two of you walked, with you occasionally flinching at the harsh noise of thunder, no words were said. Until a very harsh and violent clap of thunder made you jump and wrapped your arm around Osamu’s bicep and pushing yourself closer to him. This causes both of you to stop walking. Osamu looked down at you with wide eyes and eyebrows raised, confused about your actions. While you stared at the street in front of you with wide eyes and a horror look.

Why can’t I let go? I want to let go? But his arms are so hard and muscly… Wait… this better not wake something inside of me….

“You okay?” Osamu broke the silence. 

All you did was nodded your head, not knowing what to say. You were too horrified at yourself to speak. 

“S-Should we continue to walk?” Osamu questioned. “You can keep holding my arm if it helps.”

“Y-Yeah,” you gulped, taking a step.

The two of you started to walk again in awkward silence. You didn’t know what to say, you were to busy thinking that you were holding on to someone’s arm. An arm that belongs to someone who you didn’t like, someone who always annoyed you.

“Were you always scared of thunder?” Osamu broke the silence.

“E-Ever since I was little,” you stuttered.

“Oh…”

“Y-Yeah,” you nodded. You were going to stop but since you were so nervous, you decided to tell your story, “When I was a kid, I visited my family in New York. They lived on the top floor of the building and my room had a huge window. It was also thundering storming at the time and it was raining heavily.”

“That sounds…Scary,” Osamu told you, “but if it makes you feel better, Atsumu didn’t stop peeing the bed until he was 11.”

You laughed when you heard the news about Atsumu, glad that he got rid of the awkward tension. The two of you then started to tell each other stories, the most embarrassing stories about Suna and Atsumu. 

Soon later both of you arrived at the gates of your house. But you were shocked to see Suna walking out with an umbrella.

“Rin?” You noted, taking your arm away from Osamu as the two of you were now standing next to him.

“Oh, hey,” Suna said, looking at you with a blank expression, “I was on my way to get you.”

“You were?” You creased your eyebrows, giving him a small smile.

“Yeah,” Suna nodded, “I knew you are scared of thunder and didn't want to be alone, but it seems Osamu got that covered.”

“Thank you for walking with me,” You said to Osamu. 

Osamu just nodded to you as you walked over to Suna and under his umbrella. He saw how Suna opened the door and you gave him a smile. He also saw how you were quick to hold onto his arm and heard you saw as you walked through the gate, “Can I touch your arm for a few minutes when we get inside?”

“Why do I feel like this is going to become a thing?” Was all Osamu heard when he started to head home.

“So that’s what happened,” You finished the story, 

Yui and Sara were both silent, looking at you as if you were crazy. You looked back at them with an award look, not knowing to say anymore.

“That’s not a romantic moment,” Ichika said through the speaker, “that was a weird moment that somehow turned into a nice moment.”

“You know what,” you said, grabbing your phone and getting out of the bed, “it’s getting late. Imma head to bed.”

“Wow (y/n),” Yui smirked, “leaving us already? We’re not done talking about this!”

“Goodbye,” you waved, handing up on Ichika and walking out of the door. You then walked to your room after you closed the door with a sigh. Reaching your room, you were quiet to open the door and closed it behind you, not wanting to wake up Yuna. 

Since you were already in your PJs, all you did was plug your phone in the charger and went underneath the bed covers. But instead of closing your eyes, you stared at the ceiling. Your mind was wandering everywhere, thinking back at the moment with Osamu.

It may not have been that romantic, but…It was a moment that we did see each other in a different light.

In the corner of your eye, you saw your phone screen light up. With a small sigh, you grabbed your phone.

Sara and Yui met Ichika when they went to Hyogo for a training camp and they had a free day. Yui and Ichika instantly became friends.

Atsumu stooped peeing the bed when he was little. But when he was 11, he had a dream that he was peeing and it came true.

(Y/n) accidentally went into the boys locker room once.

Suna and (Y/n) have seen each other naked but it was when they were kids. But Suna did accidentally walked in (Y/n) changing, she doesn't know it and Suna is too scared to tell her.
