❗️ Bible W. and Jess J., the leads of the upcoming BL 4 Minutes, starred in a music video - short film by the Thai band Getsunova called Spaceless. The film was released on June 4th, the music video was released on June 6th.

❗️ Jeff S. and Barcode T. were revealed to star in the upcoming BL Happy Ending, along with Mike Angelo and Jorin K. A first trailer was released on June 15th. The show is produced by Jeff S. himself.

❗️ Actor Chimon Wachirawit withdrew from the upcoming GMMTV BL Perfect10 Liners due to his struggle with mental health issues. He was previously hospitalized and pulled back from various events, such as the LOL Fanfest and multiple fanmeetings. He released a statement on June 24th saying he has been suffering from depression and is currently receiving treatment. On June 27th, GMMTV issued a statement announcing a hiatus in Chimon's career and the end of the PerthChimon ship as a result. They have mutually agreed to end their work as a pair due to Chimon's condition and will continue to pursue separate career paths. Chimon will return to acting once his treatment is finished.

❗️ It was revealed that the upcoming Taiwanese BL First Note of Love will be a collaboration with the Thai production company StarHunter. The show stars Charles Tu (HIStory 4) and Michael Chang (My Tooth Your Love) as well as Jame Kasama (GenY) who plays a Thai singer. The show is set to premiere in August.

❗️ The production company Be On Cloud announced a lineup event titled "The Next Altitude", which will be held on July 9th. It will feature upcoming projects such as series and various events. Further details are unknown.

❗️ Following the legalization of same-sex marriage in Thailand, the production company StarHunter announced a reality series surrounding the marriage of actors Porsch A. and Arm S. titled "Porsch-Arm The Wedding". The show will follow the pair on their path to their wedding and is thus the first Asian LGBT+ marriage themed reality show. In light of the bill-pass, fellow actors Both N. and Newyear K. also celebrated their engagement after 10 years of being together.

one thing I have learned about being poor is that you cannot for a moment stop thinking about it

#theres no peace #every little thing reminds me we are poor #seeing friends having electricity wifi heat food gas. it all costs money. and bills and fees and charges happen all the damn time #im constantly worried that i am measing up somehow or im not keeping track of my finances properly #the person handling our disability assistance application keeps coming back with question after question about my job #and i have so much doubt and fear that ive made some mistake in my answers that will disqualify us from support #and theres this sick backwards stupid thing where applying for and being on disability support is discouraging me from trying to make money #because the more i make the less likely we'll get support but i need to make money to live #its just fucked. and once we're on support i have to make monthly reports of my income so ill feel like im explaining myself all the fuckin #time #cus the system isnt built in a way that makes sense for self employed ppl who have business expenses to account for #sorry for the ranting i cant sleep #truly truly i think poverty is making me a worse persin #more anxious more resentful more jealous more miserable more spiteful #i have so little and there is so little i can do to help it #i want things in a more desparate and even childish way than i used to eant things #spend a lot more time fantasizing about magically having expendable income #not to mention the constant exponential guilt that comes from asking for help or recieving help. its guilt i need to unlearn but i feel it

I'm hiding it behind a cut because although I know how to Make Internet Arts I am not especially good at it - I know the keyboard shortcuts I just don't know how to use them well.

When Sylvie catches sight of her reflection in the long mirror behind the bar she can’t resist giving herself a victorious smile; she’s here to celebrate and she damn well deserves that celebration. Finally she has found a buyer for her latest piece of work, and if all goes well it’ll bring at least a few months of financial security before she has to start worrying about the bills again. She knocks back the remainder of her margarita and orders another, and since the bartender keeps unsubtly staring at her chest she takes her time searching in her purse for the payment, just in case this prompts him to offer this one on the house. He doesn’t (well, it was a bit of a long shot) but someone else does �� a tall, pale, dark-haired man steps in to play Prince Charming instead, and on first impressions alone this unexpected understudy might be good for more than one free drink; she wishes she had ordered something more expensive.

(No prizes for guessing that her "latest piece of work" is in some way fraudulent, or for guessing who the buyer is.)

It’s 80F and sunny and yet I am inside because my skin hurts 👍

Luckily I mean September can usually go either way, we can still have a few good park weekends. Tomorrow is also supposed to be good and I have Thursday off. Trying to be forgiving of myself for spending the whole day in bed. At least I have big windows and a view of a tree? That’s the same thing as going to the park, right?

Arlo did a pretty good job for his first time at the vet since CareCenter threw a towel over his head and tackled him to the floor and I am very proud of him

#two of the techs who tackled him were fear free certified >:(#he was muzzled and they didn’t even try #they didn’t even ask me it happened so fast #so I have been afraid to bring him to the vet since #he just got treats thrown at him and otherwise ignored which is what he likes #we’re gonna try a chill pack next week (just trazodone makes him less trusting so that’s out but we’ll see how the mixture hits)#and if he still says no to being touched by his new nice doctor then he will be sedated #which will be expensive but that’s okay #I want to try him on Prozac #to see if it helps to get him okay to give consent to have me groom his rear end #and to help with household dog tensions #and bc he is deeply affected by Tyrell’s anxiety around him to the point she’s not comfy handling him much without me there #and we wanna work on that too #but we need bloodwork first obv #so that’s what we’re tryna do #he also needs a dental but they have a little monthly plan thing at our vet that’s gonna cover that #and once Arlo’s sorted OTTILIE has to go to the vet bc she might have allergies or asthma #(I talked to them about it and they agree she needs to go in but that it is ok to wait until after we get Arlo sorted)#it was a lot when Juni and Rory were having issues at the same time lol #anyway #he did pretty good #arlo #dogblr

I love being T4T. My gf has been on estrogen for a couple weeks now and she's been having a rough time with her mood so I'm teaching her about the ancient art of soaking in a bubble bath with a little drink to sip while watching shows on your laptop

#pro-tip for any girls newly on E. this is The Cure for PMS #(which accurately describes what youre going through btw)#other great cures include putting on nice smelling lotion and fuzzy socks and wrapping yourself in a blanket burrito/nest #also eating lots of chocolate or other sweets and drinking your favorite caffeinated beverages #my mom used to always put on lotion and fuzzy socks and drink dr pepper and eat chocolate #my cousin likes to watch netflix in the bath with wine and then get in a blanket burrito with her favorite lemonade tea #if youve got someone to take care of you then you dont even have to come out of the burrito. you can just ask them to bring you things #all of these methods help a lot. we're experts on this you can trust me (family of people with endometriosis)#also if youre having headaches and bloating and stomach pain you might try midol (generic works fine)#it has acetaminophen for pain + caffeine for headaches (like excedrin) + antihistamine for bloating #also to clarify: i said girls newly on E only bc i figured girls who have been on it for a while might have already figured this stuff out #but PMS is by no means exclusive to transfems who have newly started on E #many transfems have reported getting PMS symptoms and even cramps on a monthly basis after being on estrogen for a while #this is bc after a while on E your body can start naturally making more estrogen and this can come with its own hormone cycle #and as a result you can essentially get all of the symptoms of a period just without the actual bleeding #(this can include cramps bc even in cis women the signals for the muscle spasms can sometimes get misdirected to nearby organs—#unfortunately causing stomach issues as well)#so if anyone out there happens to not already know this information and youve been feeling like shit periodically for seemingly no reason #now you know 😅#its your period #rambling

❣️ My Stand-In - I've been liking this a lot and it's probably my favorite bl from this year so far. I was mostly skeptical of the reincarnation trope as I usually don't like that but I like where it's going. The storytelling is excellent, it's comprehensible and sends such good messages, it's subtle, not as in-your-face as other shows, they're not rehashing the same things and every character is believable and well-shaped, down to the smallest side role. The characters are flawed but so well-written that it's just a joy to witness them develop. That being said I wanna give a big shoutout to whoever was in charge of casting because the lineup is really top-tier lol. Every character is on-point thanks to their respective actor; Up is doing so well and also Poom is a very pleasant surprise. I love how expressive he is and him and Up work extremely well as a team imo. Also Mek as Tong is a good choice. Almost forgot what a truly good production looked like lmao. I'm in awe.

❗️ In a week-to-week-release, Be On Cloud announced the cast of the upcoming BL 4 Minutes: Bible Wichapas, Jes Pipat, Bas Asavapatr, Job Yosatorn, Fuaiz Thanawat, Mio Athens, Jet Jetsadakorn & Jjay Patiphan. A release date, as well as further information has not been disclosed.

❗️After the announcement of OhmFluke being the lead actors in the upcoming Korean BL Surfing, their respective managements released a statement saying the news were false and that there was never any contact between the companies nor a request for permission to issue the news.

you know someday i'm gonna feel so good when i have my student loans paid off

that ain't gonna be soon, trust me, but i think about it

#i've been saving so much for it that i paid off over like $2k in the last 2 or 3 months #it's just thinking about how the amount of interest goes off that drives me literally crazy #and my monthly amount i owe is like just under $120 #which to some people as a regular bill is more manageable than others. but as i have an irregular income #as a substitute teacher it's something that gives me a LOT of stress.#which is another reason i've been overpaying. in case something happens/i can't get a lot of work #it defers the next due date.#that way it's not urgent but yet i still *feel* it all the time #debt is a crazy kind of thing #and to think that my loans are from COMMUNITY college. two years. publicly owned #when i start taking classes again soon. i currently have enough saved that if i take like ONE class #i can pay out of pocket. and i think im only gonna take one class to start anyway #which will also help with the deferred payments #see i just fucking hate having to think practically about money like this #tales from diana #idk how ppl leave high school and go straight to live in a dorm room at a private university for four straight years #and rack up tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt.#first of all that lifestyle was not accessible for me to begin with. even when paying it was such an abstract put-it-off thought #as it is for so many 18-year-olds who are told not to worry about where they apply.#but i had under $12k to repay when the student loan debt was unfrozen last fall #and it's been weighing on me soooo heavily since then. i think about it every damn day #it's like the money i make isn't even mine. it goes straight to mohela and food #keep in mind i also live w my parents & am on their health insurance so someday there'll be moooore bills!!!!

#i wish i could at least afford to get noise cancelling headphones #those wont completely help me or solve my issues #i live in a place that is way too active for me who get so easily overstimulated by noise #like.. im like actually falling apart and im incapable of functioning like a normal person under these conditions lmao #i was abt to go into another rant abt it but theres no use i need to accept the situation #all i can do is to work towards a place where i have a job and money so i can move cities and apartments when i need to #this noise is killing me...#ear plugs dont work completely + it's not good for your ears to have smth inside of them all the time #trust me..... horrible things can happen to your ears 🥴#but noise cancelling headphones is better than being broken down by noise #then i could listen to ambience while studying/reading and music while on walks #i prefer natural silence :((( like soft noises in the environment #plus that isnt unhealthy for your ears... but it isnt possible bc im constantly on such high alert #and overstimulation bc CONSTANT FKN NOISE!!!!!!!!#then the alternative of listening to smth on noise cancelling headphones is better #but i cant afford it at all :(#the cheapest ones i can find are a little bit over 1/3 of my monthly food budget 🥴#and i ofc want them to be good enough that they work...#i dont wanna buy smth cheap that the quality is super bad or they break immediately #UGHHHHHHH i hte everything im considering just going deaf #but i wanna listen to music :(( and listen to threats. i dont wanna be deaf no #i just want some fkn peace and quiet

#books #jo walton has done it again #almost the only reason i ever look at tor.com these days is to read her monthly roundup of the books she's read #because a good chunk of her reading is the type of classics i love #including a lot of forgotten light classics of the early 20th century #this was one of those #mentioned in a column from last year that i happened to read the other day #with a review that said this should be one of those classics that everyone knows and reads #instead of being this completely forgotten book #and since it happened to be on hoopla (a common perk of these types of book recs from her) i read it #i don't think it's all-time classic great #but it's a solid middlebrow novel #the beginning was a bit of rough going but after the major part of the plot kicked off it become rather lovely #because there was a lot of the above #explorations of the value of work and friendships and relationships #and because of things like the above quote the central relationship is one of my favorite romances of the year #it's a solid relationship built on friendship and mutual respect #with both of them having stories and emotional journeys beyond the romance #reminded me a little bit of gaskell in some ways
