oh Marek totally knows!! he's known about it since they were kids. i wouldn't say M is super obvious, they might seem like an overprotective best friend to the untrained eye, but people that know M also know they like MC just from the way they look at them.

Marek sketches, babymode + ceremonial wedding outfit which they never actually wear in canon but i wanted to draw something elaborate

and revival of Rokovek (pending name change...) in the current iteration of the story they're now a drone and would have been Marek's prospective first consort. They still have the extreme feather growth mutation that gives them the appearance of wings and people have Opinions on it. Rokovek hates it in much the same way as Marek hates being touted as the future of their tribe. They end up being pretty good friends about it

heh sure! ^^

depending on the occupation you choose for MC, Marek will be the one to spark interest in MC towards that specific thing. like, if MC chooses the street artist job, then Marek will be the one bringing them new cans of paint whenever he can.

growing up, Marek was the one giving MC all their haircuts. some were better than others 🥲

very awkward in the beginning. Marek loves MC, but he didn't know how to take care of them at all at first. he didn't want to be too strict so he didn't impose a bed time, but then MC would get the zoomies and stay up all night. then he'd try an 8 PM bedtime. obviously that didn't work either, what kid wants to go to bed so early? like, there was no in between with him.

depending on MC's occupation, Marek still has whatever MC has first made for him. if it's a drawing or a song, it's in his back pocket. if it's an invention, it's in his bedside drawer. if it's a scar from their first fighting practice or from the first medical practice, he got a tattoo in its exact shape.
