Well another week of Tal and Ashley putting Callowmoore through the emotional ringer. I'm kinda okay with where it's at right now (okay less kinda but I can still see an end goal for them), of course it wasn't the most ideal direction I thought up in my head but it rarely ever is. There's time, there's room, and maybe in 2 3 (again guys? mental torment for 3 again?) weeks time - because no show on Thanksgiving and then Candela Obscura - Tal and Ashley will pull the trigger and not leave me an anxious mess like they have the last month and a half every Friday Morning when I have to work XD
#don't get me wrong I expected Fearne to show stress and it is good that Ashton apologized as personally as they could#I just desired a sweeter shippier flavour of events...but I can wait#not forever mind you I still crave the positive emotional payoff#kinda bummed after all that the shard rejected Ash though seems a bit like sour grapes from Matt - but it's his decision#like if you can make callowmoore a thing as an early birthday present that'd be cool just throwing it out there#Ashton did make some good character steps though and it was cool they had a talk with Percy#critical role#bells hells#ashton greymoore#fearne calloway#callowmoore#ashton x fearne#fearne x ashton#taliesin jaffe#ashley johnson#glad we can get rid of this manipulation discourse though they were pretty clear that it was just stupidity rather than manipulation#feel like they have to have their talk before going to the key so I'm hoping for something even more precious and irreplaceable being share#cr3 spoilers#critical role spoilers#c3e78#the whole feywild 'couples retreat' would be a good way for Fearne to realise her fear of losing Ashton is because she loves him#the whole 'love is enduring pain' theme being thrown in a lot this ep#While Ashton uses the feywild to connect to the earth and be better and realise that he loves Fearne and they're (k)enough as they are now#probably some Orym guidance/ass kicking needed for that too#idealism of course but I need to hope it goes good because if it goes bad it just ruins my week(s)/life#Chet was great this episode with the tough love and challenging Ashton to be better but of course Laudna needs to be kept an eye on#I accept the character directions but mentally and emotionally I am not okay

Hubert Rarepair Week Day 7: Coffee, Ashe/Hubert
Summary:
A knock on the glass front door makes Ashe jump. “C-Coming!” He calls, already rushing forward. He fumbles for his keys, drops them, lets out a noise not unlike a squeak as he picks them up again, and finally unlocks the door.
Hubert von Vestra steps inside. “Good evening,” he says. “Thank you again for agreeing to meet so late. You likely would have preferred to get home after a full day’s work.”
Cafe AU time! Made a conscious effort to make this as different as possible from previous "Ashe runs a cafe" fics I've done. Still fluff though :D

have a moment like this every so often but god, pokemon is so kind to neurodivergent kids
#i love how ash being bad at writing an essay the traditional way isn’t something thats shamed in the episode at all#its just ash’s own anxiety plus rotom who is established to be a stickler who’s still learning anyways#and hes scolded for cheating but no one shames him for doing the presentation in a way that’s actually comfortable for him#and hes not shamed for using simpler words or anything. ash isnt an eloquent essay writer and hes bad at retaining information#and thats okay! hes encouraged to take a different route and theres no harm done besides mild embarrassment from getting caught cheating#like. i am someone who likes writing essays for school actually but i have a hard time retaining information#that makes it a lot harder than it should be. so i felt somewhat seen here and its nice#echoed voice#sm lb

#truly i have too modes. so fucking busy i cant breathe. cant think without a muddled lag. feeling motion sick as i walk#a path ive walked a thousand times over. or not busy enough. without thr pressure i revert to a liquid state and spill across the floor#i cant seem to do anything. at least when im busy i cant feel how miserable i am. at least for a little while bc i have to focus#idk how to find a balance. it always seems to be all or nothing. outside my control but directed by my control#ugh. after the month ive had the misery's caught up with me. also i havent been sleeping enough#i felt horrible all day in the lab ans i was like. i mean maybe its low bloodsugar? but then when i went home i felt 1000 times better#which is. ya kno understandable but not great#idk i can just feel the anger leaking out from under my skin. ive made the system unlivable. now im suffocating on the echo of pain#and i feel bad bc it must b all over my face. bitterness simmering in my words#i met with my boss today for a delayed meeting of a delayed meeting and showed her some preliminary data. she was excited and asked what i#felt abt it. and i dont feel anything abt it. nothing. i dont care i dont care i dont care i dont fucking care#set my datasheets on fire. burn them to ash. i wouldnt feel anything#and im sure some of that sentiment came thru bc she later texted me to reiterate how cool the data is bc no ones done a study this#extensive ans i dont kno how to reply bc again i dont care. theres no breathing enthusiasm back. that dim light has been extinguished. i#look forward to never having to think abt it again.#whatever the more pressing issue is that i cant get my brain to function enough to save me from the other problems i have boiling over#just me sabotaging potential future happiness from where i sit unhappily in the present#annoying. ugh i need to sleep.#unrelated

Genuinely loved evil dead. esp as someone who's seen like no other horror films, it was very funny to see a clever piece of camera work or an imaginative bit of imagery and go oh thats so good i can absolutely understand why this is so beloved.
#also just MWAH the change in tone as the night goes on#the relatively silly deaths and posessions of a shallow group of characters mixed w an almost tonally dissonant#moment of ash mourning them (because ur not used to these characters having depth) TRANSITIONING AGAIN into genuine psychological discomfor#seeing ash's very world become destabalised?? through the very way he interacts w the house#like the house has felt so *solid* prior. it breaks it busts u can punch a hole through the floorboards. and then suddenly the Wrongness#that was always present right from the moment the clock stops ticking RESURFACES and theres too much blood to be real pouring from the pipe#and ur reflection gives way to a dark lake#the blood leaking across the projection of the film. transgressing a border....#its so fucking good#the fact ash gains like. DIMENSIONS? throughout this film?#tunes titters

I exist in a dimension that is solely DimiClaude and so today I am thinking about how on Claude’s birthday, Dimitri gets up super early to prepare for it because he can only do so much preparing the day before since Claude would catch on if he did too much.
the evening before he tells the cooks and maids and all their workers what he’s planning to do so that they’re all prepared for the busy next day (but he’s paying them extra for the extra work and for the people who gotta get up early or keep working late!!!).
in the morning he makes sure everything is ready for the Whole Day and then he goes back to bed in time for Claude to wake up! these days Claude is a bit more used to having Dimi around so he won’t wake up as quickly/easily when there’s movement right beside him, and Dimi has learned to be quiet and careful so he doesn’t wake Claude since Claude is a light sleeper.
whenever it’s Claude’s birthday Dimi spoils him absolutely rotten because on a regular day he spoils Claude anyway, so he has to make sure his birthday is extra special.
by the time the day is over Claude is exhausted and flops onto their bed and passes out! he’s so tired from all the spoiling but he’s so happy, fuzzy and warm inside. 😌
Dimi will be extra vigilant and sleep lightly that night because he knows Claude is gonna be sleeping heavily and peacefully all night. 😌
#DimiClaude#also dimi won't put up with any nonsense on claude's birthday so like if someone tries to be mean to claude#or someone tries to bring up politics and make drama out of it then dimi will just knock them out on the spot#he ain't even dealin with that today he just gonna knock em out and have em brought to their bed#if they get up and try again dimi is just gonna knock em back out like he's not even gonna humor them#he's not gonna cause drama and have them arrested or start any arguments that will sour the day#he's just gonna knock em out flat and deal with it another day bc nothing and nobody in the world#is gonna sour or ruin claude's birthday. by now dimi knows claude had a rough childhood and that he never rly#got to have fun holidays or anything bc most of his family didn't want anything to do with him and stuff#so he's not used to his birthday being a special day and he only started to adjust to that at the academy#and even then it was a lil weird for him! and then for five years there was a war so he never rly#got to celebrate or anything during that time so he had one special birthday but it wasn't something he got used to#but his dimi dims won't stand for that!!!!!! he's gonna make claude feel so special every day but on his BIRTHDAY#he's gonna feel like the world was created to prepare for his existence!!!#dimi will make all the time up to claude that he didn't get to have growing up! he'll learn lots of faerghus stuff too!#they'll celebrate a mix of almyra and faerghus styles on their birthdays so that claude gets almyran experiences he missed out on!!!#dimi gets his almyran culture scoops from cyril when it has to do with claude's birthday bc he can't let on to claude#that he's planning something for him so he has to make sure he asks someone else#also dimi calls on dedue and ashe for the main cooking and mercedes for the desserts#and on top of that he makes sure every year claude gets a special present ASIDE from all the loving spoiling#every year claude gets a gift that dimitri buys from someone else but ALSO dimitri will hand make something for him#and claude is always so PROUD OF HIM because sometimes it's stuff like knitting! very delicate work!!!#but his dimi dims has been learning that stuff specifically so he can handmake things for claude!!!#he's been having mercedes teach him things like crocheting and knitting so he can make SPECIAL THINGS FOR HIS CLAUDE#and on one of his birthdays claude gets a super special present from EVERYONE bc dimi has#all of both their friends pitch in to help make claude a special blanket! claude gets very cold in faerghus winters#so dimi has all their friends slowly working on a blanket for a whole year basically. they take turns adding their part to it!#BUT mercedes had a PATTERN planned out for them so it comes out properly! it is very warm and claude loves it...#but claude's favorite part about the blanket is that he can wrap himself in it AND cuddle his dimi dims for super warmth!!!#that's it im out of tags unless tumblr updated them past thirty tags im all dimiclauded out of tags
