you refuse to give up on that stranger. even if it brings your life into danger, you go up and beyond to search for him around the area. armed with nothing but fragments of clues and an unwavering resolve, you navigate the shadows of the city and find yourself slowly unraveling the enigma of toji's disappearance.

reader here is gender neutral, so if I happened to have a pronoun slip by accident, please do correct me. I swear it was a honest mistake cause I don't really proofread my works :3

that being said, although reader should based off of you, as in you reading this, reader has their own background prior to their arrival in teyvat. Down below are some of the changes/characteristics I took the liberty to add to the reader's persona and history to fit in the story!

(i.) reader is a university student studying science or other related field (their specialisation differs in each route to make it interesting). though i did not specify their age, appearance and race (feel free to imagine them whichever), they were supposed to be in the middle of taking their college degree.

(ii.) reader has an adoptive older brother (who would be important in the storyline later on).

(iii.) reader is presented to be quite reckless, a bit ditzy, chaotic, an unhinge and lively character, rebellious, hardheaded, opinion oriented, and wouldn't bend to rules that they see as pointless no matter how the society dictates them to do so, but they were kind and carefree when you get to know them more. you'll see what I'm talking about in the first chapter 😂

before I forgot, although I'm a huge fan of the sagau presented in tumblr (the one with creator and cult themes; those are chef kiss btw), my take on the plot of sagau is very different. There's no divine creator here or cultish behaviours (i'm so sorry if that's what you're looking for 😷) my main focus here is all about the genshin characters' self awareness that they were in a game as they interacted with the isekai!reader, which is why I added the reverse isekai in the genre tags because it will be a huge turnover in the future chapters :>

also, the game mechanics I'm talking about above is what we see on the screen of genshin. Like the Paimon Menu, the inventory, the character archive, and so on! When reader is isekaid, it seems like they brought the whole screen with them? XD

I know stuff will probably be confusing for you and me later on because of the branching narratives happening in this hellhole of a plot, but please bare with me xD I will do my best to make it clear as possible.

This fanfic has four types of routes (or ends if you prefer it that way), There are good ends (romantic happy ending all the way!), bad ends (if you're unlucky that you fall in the dramatic hellhole then yes), normal ends (this could end in either being platonic, a cliffhanger or an open ending up to your interpretation lmao), and lastly, the secret ends (i'll keep whatever this is hidden for now because I planned something huge for this lol).

a "what if" routes are a series of one-shots, short stories or drabbles that was not really connected with the primary routes. It could be read as a standalone fics. Possibly just my word vomit and brainrotting lmao. They also don't have any branching narratives like the primary routes.

◈　Caitlyn use to follow Jayce around in hopes to make a friend with him, though it never came to fruition. However, the true reason why Caitlyn followed Jayce is because her mother was training her as an intelligencer. This means, Caitlyn was gathering information on everything Jayce was doing. Jayce is not the only sponsor she did this with, as she often spent time with the other students that Kiramman's sponsered. ◈　The friendship truly ended between Jayce and Caitlyn when Caitlyn saw how much Jayce liked the limelight and fame he gained after becoming the 'man of tomorrow'. They rarely interacted as adults, they could be friendly, but Caitlyn does not see him as a brother or friend. ◈　Caitlyn, when dealing with the chief Warden, forged Cassandra Kiramman's signature, not Jayce's. This lead to more conflict when Caitlyn got back home. However, Cassandra protected her daughter and did not even argue about the release of the prisoner; in fact she fabricated a whole storyline that she authorized her daughter to enlist a prisoner under the indentured servitude act so she would have a body guard after being nearly blown up in the academy square. ◈　At the end of everything, Caitlyn never returned to the enforcers, and at no point does she become sheriff. She opens up her own business as a Private Detective, acting on her own accord with no connection to the Enforcers. She is, and always will, be empowered by herself with no control from the government of Piltover. ◈　She also takes over as the head of House Kiramman. this means she is the intelligencer and head of household, and all business goes through her now. ◈　Caitlyn, along with the rest of her family, as Vastaya blooded in some way. Cassandra and Caitlyn are both half vastaya, half human. This bloodline extends from Vastaya who use to live in Ionia, but traveled to live in Osha Va'Zaun (when it was first established 200 years ago) but then moved to Piltover to establish themselves there. → My interpretation may be different from what you expect. Since I haven't watched anime for a long time or very occasionally, my portrayal is not very anime-ish. It is more influenced by TV series or reading books from the mafia environment. I just really like Tsuna as a character, and I found it interesting to develop her further based on her differently.

→ My portrayal is the female version, meaning Tsuna was born like a girl.

→ My portrayal is essentially 12-year post-canon, so Tsuna is 26 years old with all the development Tsuna had throughout the series and manga and has a grown mentality, much like Tsuna‘s future counterpart from Future Arc.

→ It's a heavily headcanon-based portrayal.

→ My attempt is to add another dimension to the portrayal of this muse. In terms of portraying this muse, I try to give her a psychological component and a realistic interpretation of her life within the mafia.

𝐕.    mature  content  will  be  present.  kratos  is  a  former  god  of  war  who  is  frequently  surrounded  by  death,  manipulation,  sadism  and  other  related  elements.

𝐕𝐈.    writer  is  of  age,  so  smut  will  be  present  in  the  blog.  please  be  aware  that  romance  can  be  acquired,  although  it  will  also  require  chemistry  for  kratos  to  be  shipped  with.  i  will  highly  appreciate  if  ships  are  not  forced  'pon  me,  if  it  happens  then  it  happens.

𝐕𝐈𝐈.    i  will  not  interact  with  anyone  underage,  nor  will  i  interact  with  doubles.  unfortunately  i  had  some  sour  experiences  in  the  past  when  it  came  to  doubles,  so  i  don't  relish  those  times  i  am  afraid.
