i just reaaaaally hope the special announcement isn't only the Pirate Warriors 4 DLC. I mean it'd be sick as HELL to play as The Silly and honestly I'll take any new scenes with him at this point, plus a PW panel is not specifically listed on the schedule in the description so that could be the SPECIAL LIVE section that's 30min right at the end OR it could be the Special Stage announcement described in the description which seems to share a time slot with the Bounty Rush panel buuuuut i really hope we get smth more than a DLC announcement for a game (and maybe gameplay?) also the announcement/trailer could just be slotted into the One Piece News Corner 1 or 2 because that also seems vague enough to fit a game DLC announcement. also why would they ruin the ~special announcement~ with a tweet 3 days ahead of the actual stream? personally i wouldn't do that myself but i'm trying to be realistic and just expect the DLC announcement and that's it.

honestly i was surprised about the announcement that PW4 is getting more DLC because I haven't heard anything about Odyssey. I haven't even beaten Odyssey to get to the existing DLC yet, but the point stands... maybe people didn't like Odyssey as much as PW4? I find Odyssey kinda dull gameplay-wise, so maybe that's why they're not... Idk tho I'm extraordinarily picky (I still think PW3 is better than PW4 and that's definitely not nostalgia speaking 😤) so maybe the general fanbase liked it... maybe we will get more Odyssey stuff and they just haven't announced it yet lol

iruka knows getting involved with kakashi is a bad idea. a terrible idea, even.

kakashi, for one, outranks him. he’s a jounin while iruka is a chuunin schoolteacher who rarely even takes field missions. it’s not that iruka feels inferior because his position; no, he loves his job and where he is in life, and just because he’s a chuunin doesn’t mean he’s weak, doesn’t mean he’s useless. but that doesn’t prevent others from seeing it that way. iruka is used to receiving the slightly condescending remarks from his superiors, how they act like he won’t be able to hold his own in the field or needs protecting. he doesn’t bother to correct them anymore.

but that isn’t the only reason getting involved with kakashi is a bad idea. kakashi is also closed off and extremely secretive. it’s basically an open secret that he used to be ANBU. he’s constantly on life-threatening missions, and often enough comes back half dead or chakra depleted or a combination of both. he takes the most s-rank missions out of anyone in the village, and there is a certain grim acceptance around him all the time about how this next one might be his last.

him being a jounin and iruka being a chuunin isn’t really anything in the grand scheme of things. it’s more so that combined with the fact that no one has seen more than the upper half of kakashi’s face in decades, or that everyone who has is dead, or that kakashi is incredibly difficult to get to open up, or that there’s a high possibility that he will not come home.

so yes, iruka knows getting involved with kakashi is a bad idea. doing so would be getting in over his head. which is why every time kakashi teases him or makes a suggestive comment at the mission desk, he ignores it or guides the conversation away. every time he feels a shiver go down his spine or an uncontrollable blush rise on his cheeks or his traitorous heart fluttering, he shoves everything into a cabinet at the back of his mind. he does not want to get involved with kakashi. he is not interested in getting involved with kakashi.

the gazes kakashi sometimes gives him makes him think maybe that cabinet is glass.

it’s those same gazes that do him in. to a certain extent, he could handle the heated glances or eyes flashing with amusement. but when kakashi looks at him consideringly, when it seems as if he’s trying to piece iruka together like a puzzle, when it seems like he wants to dig around his head, when it seems like he’s serious about this, it makes him feel too many emotions at once that he has trouble deciphering them. there’s confusion, and anxiousness, and embarrassment, and even a little bit of fear, but it isn’t until later that he realizes the biggest part of it is want.

iruka wants kakashi. he wholeheartedly wants to be involved with kakashi. and kakashi knows it too, apparently knew it before he did himself.

so when they next meet at the mission desk and iruka hands kakashi his nth s-rank mission scroll, he gives him a small, genuine smile instead of the professional jerky one he usually uses, and he adds a quiet “take care, hatake-san” to the end of his sentence.

so when kakashi asks iruka with a genuine eye-smile in return, not one of his salacious grins or the little smirk he has whenever he knows iruka is flustered, to stop calling him by his surname once he returns from his mission, instead of locking the himself in his little glass cabinet, iruka takes a deep breath, and dives in.

how to find literally any post on a blog in seconds (on desktop)

there are so many posts about ~tumblr is so broken, you can’t find any post on your own blog, it’s impossible, bluhrblub~

I am here to tell you otherwise! it is in fact INCREDIBLY easy to find a post on a blog if you’re on desktop/browser and you know what you’re doing:

url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant. every single post, every single time. in chronological order starting with the most recent post. note: it will not find #croissants or that time you made the typo #croidnssants. for a tag with multiple words, it’s just /tagged/my-croissant and it will show you everything with the exact phrase #my croissant

url.tumblr.com/tagged/croissant/chrono will bring up EVERY post on the blog tagged with the exact phrase #croissant, but it will show them in reverse order with the oldest first 

url.tumblr.com/search/croissant isn’t as perfect at finding everything, but it’s generally loads better than the search on mobile. it will find a good array of posts that have the word croissant in them somewhere. could be in the body of the post (op captioned it “look at my croissant”) or in the tags (#man I want a croissant). it won’t necessarily find EVERYTHING like /tagged/ does, but I find it’s still more reliable than search on mobile. you can sometimes even find posts by a specific user by searching their url. also, unlike whatever random assortment tumblr mobile pulls up, it will still show them in a more logically chronological order

url.tumblr.com/day/2020/11/05 will show you every post on the blog from november 5th, 2020, in case you’re taking a break from croissants to look for destiel election memes 

url.tumblr.com/archive/ is search paradise. easily go to a particular month and see all posts as thumbnails! search by post type! search by tags but as thumbnails now

url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio will show you every audio post on your blog (you can also filter by other post types). sometimes a little imperfect if you’re looking for a video when the op embedded the video in a text post instead of posting as a video post, etc

url.tumblr.com/archive/tagged/croissant will show you EVERY post on the blog tagged with the specific and exact phrase #croissant, but it will show you them in the archive thumbnail view divided by months. very useful if you’re looking for a specific picture of a croissant that was reblogged 6 months ago and want to be able to scan for it quickly 

url.tumblr.com/archive/filter-by/audio/tagged/croissant will show you every audio post tagged with the specific phrase #croissant (you can also filter by photo or text instead, because I don’t know why you have audio posts tagged croissant) 

the tag system on desktop tumblr is GENUINELY amazing for searching within a specific blog! 

caveat: this assumes a person HAS a desktop theme (or “custom theme”) enabled. a “custom theme” is url.tumblr.com, as opposed to tumblr.com/url. I’ve heard you have to opt-into the former now, when it used to be the default, so not everyone HAS a custom theme where you can use all those neat url tricks. 

if the person doesn’t have a “custom theme” enabled, you’re beholden to the search bar. still, I’ve found the search bar on tumblr.com/url is WAY more reliable than search on mobile. for starters, it tends to bring posts up in a sensible order, instead of dredging up random posts from 2013 before anything else

if you’re on mobile, I’m sorry. godspeed and good luck finding anything. (my one tip is that if you’re able to click ON a tag rather than go through the search bar, you’ll have better luck. if your mutual has recently reblogged a post tagged #croissant, you can click #croissant and it’ll bring up everything tagged #croissant just like /tagged/croissant. but if there’s no readily available tag to click on, you have to rely on the mobile search bar and its weird bizarre whims)
