Dubs had been sitting on the stone steps for hours, his head covered with an over-sized hood. He kept to the shadows, leaning against the brick wall with the cold concrete beneath him. His eyes were closed until he heard the sound of an engine starting. He’d been watching this car for a week, knowing well that the two men inside were with the government and were tracking Evos. 

Standing from his place on the sidewalk, he propelled himself forward, increasing the gravitational attraction between his own body and the car until he was steadily following the vehicle while keeping out of sight.  Dubs found the car stopping in an alley just beside the Admiral’s Arms bar. He could see the men talking inside even as he took a deep breath in, bringing his hands up as if he were lifting something heavy above his head before pushing them down with the same force. 

In front of him, the car began to close in on itself under the weight of the gravity that also managed to keep the agents from moving to leave. He refused to pity their screams, instead relishing in the thought of their suffering. He knew well that they’d caused nothing short of pain to those who they did not understand.
