😡 What would someone have to [do to] make them lash out in violent anger?

They wouldn’t have to do much, I think. But it’s very difficult to predict when/if it’s going to happen. He’s visibly thinking about starting a fight with that random guy in the basketball court with what seems to be virtually no provocation . . . but we know so little about Leon that there’s a possibility there was some context for that scene that we never saw. Maybe that guy was a dick. Maybe he was a transphobe. Maybe he had questionable Seinfeld opinions. Who knows?

I definitely think that Leon ‘lashing out’ wouldn’t necessarily look like anger per se, from the outside. Leon strives to be calm at all times, and he more or less succeeds. When he’s committing acts of violence, that looks like shutting down emotionally, disconnecting his emotions, and getting the job done. Look at how different he is in the scene where he’s killing the neo-Nazis versus how he is normally (even while kidnapping Trenton and Mobley). He goes all cold and silent.

👥 Is there anyone they wish they had never met?

Hmm, interesting. I think Leon is largely at peace with the course his life has taken. He has his regrets, but I don’t know that he’d go back and change any of it. That may even be part of why he hates Whiterose; she wants more than anything to change the past, and he thinks that’s stupid.

To some extent, he thinks it would’ve been nice if his life had taken a different course such that he’d never been recruited into the Dark Army . . . but he joined for a reason. At the time, they were offering him a better option than anything he had. He knew what he was choosing. 

💥If the world were ending, would they be satisfied with their life?

Yes, actually. But he would want to be able to say goodbye, say “I love you” to the people he cares about. Fuck Whiterose, he’s gonna spend the end of the world with his sisters and Elliot and maybe Carla. 

🔪What do they think is scarier: a killer with a gun, or a killer skilled with a knife?

Well first of all Leon is both of those things, so that colors his response to this question. It takes a lot to scare Leon. He’s brave, he’s seen some shit, and he’s also pretty disconnected from everything. He’d say a killer with a gun is a bigger threat, but he enjoys using a gun himself. It’s “neater.” In terms of killers in fiction, if you asked him which was scarier, you would receive an hour-long lecture about framing and music and developing tension and character identification and catharsis, and basically the takeaway would be “it depends on the story.”

and !! i want to be clear, my elliot id’s as demiromantic and my mr. robot id’s as aro as a coping mechanism. he does on rare occasion feel romantic attraction but adamantly asserts that he does not and pridefully dawns the aro flag. i’m not saying aro folx are fake or anything he finds solace in the orientation, that’s all 👍 it makes him feel safe and whole.

Joe is very easily startled. He hides this by joking about it at every opportunity, but many sudden noises or unexpected touches make him jump. Guns and priests make him nervous. He is not afraid of public speaking or walking alone at night. Joe is known to fidget, mostly with his hands and by shuffling where he stands or sits. He isn’t very good at hiding his nervousness, or really any of his feelings.

Compliments toward anything other than his behavior make Tyler uncomfortable, especially specific ones about his appearance. If anyone is too tender with him, such as coddling him or trying to “spare his feelings,” his skin crawls. His nervousness betrays itself in his biting and picking, his nails and his skin. He is always moving and gesturing, but in a contained, purposeful manner. He is open about his opinions and beliefs, but he is not open with his emotions.

               Darlene doesn’t pretend to always understand her brother’s inner processes. In fact, more often than not, she doesn’t understand. But she’s a smart woman, and it doesn’t take much deducing to figure out why Mr. Robot exists, his purpose, and the memories he must hold. Darlene physically removed herself from their shitty situations. Elliot removed himself mentally. But who did that leave to deal with everything??

A bitter smirk touches her lips and she extracts a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. She has an image now of screaming, followed by silent treatments and the still smoldering ends of cigarettes burning her skin. Darlene pauses before she lights the end of this cigarette. Inhales smoke, exhales bullshit.

She taps away ashes and extends the cigarette to Mr. Robot. “We did go through a lot of the same shit, huh??” She turns to meet the other’s gaze. This is one way she differentiates him from Elliot–her brother never could meet the intensity in Darlene’s gaze. Mr. Robot matches the intensity. “I don’t always like you.” Legs are tucked to her chest and she drapes her arms across her knees now. “But you’re not wrong.”

The Butterfly group exploits zero-day vulnerabilities from a water hole website. In February 2013 Twitter, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft were attacked within a three-week period. The Butterfly group initiated their campaign with a Java zero-day exploit that was delivered from a popular iPhone mobile development website. For some of the attacks, F- Secure believes that the payload delivered after the breach may have been a Mac OS X backdoor, dubbed OSX Pintsized. Attacks against Windows systems likely featured the Jripbot backdoor. Symantec believes that the group may also exploit Internet Explorer 10 or an Internet Explorer plugin. At least one recent attack suggests that the group might also conduct SQL injection attacks
