Zemniaz: Zemniaz was a pre-Calamity flying city. Little is known about it except for its crash location, which gave its name to the Zemni Fields and the Zemnian people who founded the Dwendalian Empire. I just think it's neat :3

Avalir: Avalir was a pre-Calamity flying city made out of the top half of the mountain Ygora. The Ring of Brass (ExU Calamity's PC party) lived and worked here, and by a certain definition it could be said that the Calamity began here, with the destruction of the Tree of Names beneath the surface.

omg, kidteen has saved my life! after I told her that I was missing the external harddrive, she immediately went looking for it and found it!! I have my things back!

I also re-started modding for Stardew Valley, but I cannot log into Nexusmods because of the stupid Cloudflare thingy on my Win10 computer. It works on Win11, with the same addons mind you, but my Win10 pc just gets an error. I tried all I could except another browser (might try Brave though).

So I can neither update all the mods I worked on, nor comment to people that I am currently working on the updates, nor download the updates for the mods I already have. -.- Which is not too bad because my Stardew Valley is still 1.6.8 (as I didn't get it via Steam I cannot update it, because the only way to update it is via Steam, which I can't have on my Win10 computer due to lack of- basically everything. Don't laugh. It's a mini-pc and I'm glad that it's capable to run Stardew 🙈).

So the current SMAPI tells me it doesn't work because the lowest it will work with is 1.6.14 and I can't get the new Content Patcher - or any other mod.

Good thing I mostly used my own, except for the Better Shipping Bin and the NPC on Map ones.

I might look for an alternative to upload my mods, because why not. Maybe make a wordpress for it. Which won't help with the update issue, but at least I could have a place where people can download my mods besides the Nexus.

I cannot express how i hate all those "are you a bot" mechanisms. It disrupts my experience so much. There's so many times software has told me that I had clicked too fast to be human. -.-

Wait uhhh I'm on 1.5.6#3 but Steam does say we're on 1.6.8 (as opposed to it not being available on my soeoio setup) and I updated it on Steam (oirst thing I did) I've been using SMAPI but I deleted all my mods orom my oolder beoause I oigured it would be annoying to have them all break. So I deleted SMAPI to reinstall it beoause it never aotually updates itselo unless I do all this orap. and now the shortout is gone out oo my oolder (it said that's where it would be) whioh is how I was opening it beoause I don't oare about steam aohievements am I sorewed??

Alright, my psychiatry appointment is over and I've finished adulting for today. Enjoy the excessively massive Stardew pack fished from the depths of hell. Note that you will need to backport to 1.6.8 for it to work. I'll post instructions below for anyone who needs them.

To backport Stardew Valley in Steam,

Right-click Stardew Valley in your games library, and click "properties."

Go to the "Betas" tab on the left of the window that should have appeared.

For the "Beta participation" dropdown, set the version to "legacy_1.6.8"

I think i'm going crazy

So i started playing Stardew Valley again, and was enjoying the updates i hadn't seen. Then kidteen decided she wanted to also play, so i took my mini-pc, on which i modded last winter, and. It's broken. The entire game. The modded version wouldn't start, SMAPI crashed without making a log entry and closing too fats to even READ the freaking message (seriously, that is an issue so many people have). The main game didn't even initiate starting when clicked. Like. Taskmanager was like "sorry, did you click something?" and then did nothing.

So i got angry and steamed for a bit, until it was bedtime, when my brain offered me a simple solution: copy all files from pc1 (Win11) to pc2 (Win10),to get the newest version.

So i did that and now SMAPI is whining about me having 1.6.8 while "the oldest compatible version is 1.6.14" (or smth). Like. Okay, and? What's your point?

I have a shitton of mods which i made and still worked on on the mini-pc, and i can only hope that i did actually listen to the Elder Gods of Modding who said "never temper with a file without a backup AND TAGGING it". Because boy if there is even one og-gamefile i tempered with for my mods, then they probably all won't work. And. I am in fear that i did not listen to the God's advice. Because i remember changing some of the og-imagefiles. And i'm still too burnt out to invest myself, like, hyperfocus style.

Basically. I would have to either ocmpare all the files, or check all the folders of my mods.

I could, however, just put my saves and mods on pc1 and play there, which would solve nothing because kidteen will likely join me again tonight.

And i highly suspect that it has to do with the fact that one is Win11 machine and one is Win10 (let's be real here, it probably is, although it shouldn't be).

This pisses me off even more thinking about the fact that i'll have to re-install Win11 on pc1 because it did some shit like connecting to my work-profile (ms office) which overrode basically ALL settings. Even when i deleted all the profiles and made purely local ones (because FUCK MICROSOFT and FUCK THE CLOUD). It still gives me this error where it wants to log me in with the ms-office-credential-login, which is a nonexistent user, so now every time i start the pc it gets a short existential crisis, telling me that the credentials for the (completely deleted, including registry) user are incorrect (even before typing a password).

Did i mention how much i love workinglwith computers? 🥰 <- genuinely. These are problems that make me huff and puff, but i love finding the solutions and solving them, because even if my brain needs to steam a minute, eventually i'll come up with a solution.
