Has anybody already said that Kakania is most likely based on Anna Freud, Sigmund Freud's daughter? Not only she's an avid defender of Freud's theories, but both were probably born around the same time (the plot takes place in 1914 and Kakania is 19 years old, the same age Anna was around that time). Also, Anna Freud never was with a man and lived together for decades with Dorothy Burlingham, another famous psychoanalist and the grand daughter of the founder of Tiffany & Co. Just another thing to consider.

I’m currently playing 1.7 in ZZZ! I’m hoping to get Vivian when I do eventually get enough for a pull! Question for you guys: Do you guys think Hugo is really dead? Personally I don’t think he is, but from what I’ve played so far it looks like he might be. And TOPS reeks of corruption.

Poor Kelvin, though it isn't clear what else he would want besides leading the youth group. He is very much unhappy and dissatisfied, but also kinda aimless? Like he knows he wants more and that there's something missing but I don't think he knows what. I doubt there was anything Eli could have given him in that moment that would have made him as happy as Judy and Jesse.

Not that he wouldn't have been smug as hell if he'd gotten the sermon over Jesse.

music variation note: the first three scenes are all in high sounding strings. The scenes in XVI and XXVI are played on lower strings and a couple octaves down. The scene in XXII is in a mix of high and mid strings, and in an octave between the other scenes.

I spent a year rewatching Black Sails and tracking all the bits of music that repeated at any point during the show, and my findings are reinforcing that Bear McCreary is a genius and this show should have been called 'parallels that will kill you over and over again'* (tag | chronological)

Everything with Rose makes it a little hard to keep going. I know people talk about her like an antagonist at times and seeing all the things that are pulling at her that will lead to her and Blake (probably) splitting up is sad to read.

How is this show SO GOOD at being ridiculous and emotional at the same time?? You really feel for BJ when he leaves, even though they make him do a silly little run.
