So I bought myself a Cameo from Spencer and asked him if he had a Christmas wish. These were his wish thoughts in order:

-new guitar and amp

-world peace

-next year to be more chill than this year. Cause I had a lot of shit go on.

-well, that’s not fair. Lots of people had it worse than I did.

-what I mean is, next year just needs to be less busy

-although maybe that’s on me to manifest that for myself

-but also less busy means less laughs?

-anyway thanks for letting me do this from bed. My mom said it was okay.

Got any favorite Side Characters in BG3 yet? Since you’ve done multiple playthroughs, I assume you’ve made it decently far. I got super attached to Barcus to my surprise. Abdirak less surprised. Love a faithful freak. (Guess that’s why I love Barcus too).

Blurg and Omeluum will have my heart forever. I'm also particularly fond of Sovereign Spaw for some reason—maybe because it's so pretty.

I'd die for Mol, as well, and she would be the only beneficiary of my will. She's one in a million. I love her so much.

Barcus is an absolute delight. I wanna hang out with him and talk about explosives forever. I wish he stayed in my camp for longer, and I wish he had more dialogue while he was there. He's great.

The only time I've ever actually met Abadirk was in my Vanic run, and I felt robbed that I'd somehow missed him every other time. He's so fun!! Reminds me of all the characters I used to get crushes on as a teenager and still do on occasion

Special mentions to:

Stonemason Kith. He's so friendly??? All the other Duegar are such pricks, but Kith is so nice. He just wants to talk about rocks and I would happily sit down and listen to him for hours on end. He's a treasure.

Varsh Ko'kuu. He's trying his absolute best for that egg, and he has a very nice beard. I also like his boots.

Kar'niss. I wish I could give him a hug and a flower crown or something. He's such a sweetheart.

That one dragonborn shopkeep in Baldur's Gate who sells instruments. Alulin (my Dark Urge gnome bard) had a lovely chat with him about instruments and performing and they seemed like they got along so well. It was a lovely bright spot in the heaviness of Act 3.

i know i'm biased, but i think that was my favourite episode in all of star trek.

i know they probably only set it in toronto because they were already filming in a studio lot in toronto but listen.

when i was young, i had to watch dozens of movies get filmed in toronto but never set in toronto. they would keep all the buildings and the signs and everything else the same, but set it in some random american city and edit out the CN tower from the skyline. watching movies growing up, my dad would point out all the places in the films that we've been to before, spots in toronto that he would recognise through the screen, but in the movie they were supposed to be in boston or chicago or new york. toronto was never relevant enough to be a setting in its own right, just a filming location.

but now, for the first time, at least the first i've seen, toronto is taking centre stage. we're no longer a backdrop, an unnamed set for an american city. we're the setting, and the filming location! and that's fucking incredible. i have always been honoured and proud to be a canadian, but in the past decade i've seen my country and my city shine on a global scale like never before, and it feels so fucking good. O CANADA EH!!!!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
