When picking a dumpster rental service, one of the first factors you should think about is where they are situated. You should choose a business that is located close to your home. A dumpster rental near me will be familiar with and knowledgeable about the regional waste disposal regulations, which will keep the entire procedure much simpler.

File This Under: Things you couldn't possibly make up
Police: Teenage Son of Homeless Advocate Kills Homeless Man for Raping Girlfriend
The teenage son of a Pennsylvania homeless advocate has been charged with the murder of a homeless man who he claims sexually assaulted his girlfriend, police say.
Investigators said Thomas James Niarhos Jr.,15, shot Jeremiah Waylon Hawkins, 39, in the face at point-blank range on Wednesday afternoon in Pottstown, the Montgomery Daily Voice reported.
After the alleged shooting, the boy reportedly yelled out, “He’s a rapist, don’t feel sorry for him,” according to court documents obtained by the local outlet.
On July 13, Niarhos was reportedly caught loitering by cops close to where the fatal shooting took place months later, just yards away from the Pottstown Police station. When approached by officers that day, the teen reportedly told officers that Hawkins had raped his girlfriend behind a nearby dumpster.
Around noon on Wednesday, Niarhos returned to the same spot with his father’s .40 caliber Smith & Wesson semi-automatic firearm, and got into a physical altercation with Hawkins, surveillance footage and a probable cause affidavit obtained by the outlet showed.
“Niarhos is seen extending his arm towards Hawkins, who then tries to knock the gun out of his hands using a bicycle tire,” the Voice reported.
The boy then fired two shots, with the first knocking Hawkins to the ground, and the second one killing him, police said.
Upon arrival to the scene, cops say they discovered a group of witnesses restraining Niarhos, while he shouted, “He’s a rapist, don’t feel sorry for him,” and “He raped a 15-year-old girl, don’t help him.”
Niarhos’ girlfriend, now 16, and her mother, were contacted by Pottstown Police on July 13 after hearing about the rape accusation. While court documents revealed that the girl told her mother that “something had happened to her,” the family did not press charges.
The owner of the gun, Niarhos Sr., is the executive director of Pottstown Beacon of Hope, an organization that assists “Pottstown residents experiencing homelessness,” according to its website.
The father told police that his son was apparently planning to turn to a life on the streets, reporting that “he found a note in his son’s bedroom indicating that his son planned to run away and located a packed bag of clothes and a cellular phone charger in his son’s bedroom,” the affidavit said.
The local outlet reported the boy had “only been living with his father since the start of the summer.”
Niarhos Jr. was charged as an adult with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, possessing a firearm by a minor, possessing an instrument of crime, and other charges.
He is being held without bail at the Montgomery County Youth Center, and his next court date is set for November 30.

Can we hear More Jeremy backyard creatures?
Omg I am so sorry this took me so long it’s just been gathering dust in my drafts 😭😭😭
I lost some motivation to do fnaf stuff recently bc I’ve been really into dsaf. You’re still welcome to ask about Fnaf but it’ll probably take a while to respond. I’d also be really happy if anyone has questions about my versions of the dsaf guys bc my hyperfixation swapped over to them. I have an au called Happiest Dave that I really need to work on.
So Jeremy has like, an army of feral cats. They’re everywhere, but you wouldn’t really know about them unless you’ve seen him do The Summoning. He stands in the yard and shakes a jar of treats and at least 10-15 cats will just appear. It’s great. He captures local strays and takes them to get fixed before rereleasing them. He’s the local crazy cat lady.
he does have one indoor cat that he adopted from the shelter, which I’ve mentioned in another post. She likes to sleep in Michael’s stomach hole. Michael and the cat pretend to hate each other, but they really don’t.
i also mentioned a dumpster chicken in another post, and this was based on a movie I watched as a kid where this lady found a factory chicken in a dumpster and nursed it back to health. I basically just stole that story and used It for Jeremy. Henrietta kinda just hangs around Jeremy’s house. Henry loves the chicken because she’s named after him, and he likes to hold her.
other than that, Jeremy just generally has a lot of bird houses and feeders and probably volunteers at an animal rescue. He loves fucked up skrunkly little guys. He just like us fr.

I saw a feral cat, one I recognized as being a mom at some point, get run over by a car about 15 yards away today while we were out raking the leaves in the front walkway. I couldn't bring myself to go check if she was still breathing, because if she was, I would have been obligated to kill her myself asap and I couldn't do that. So I called the humane society, threw the bag of trash I'd picked into the dumpster, went back inside, and cried a lot.
She was gray and brown with swirling patterns. I remember her making the "calling to kittens" noise in my backyard. I know ferals get killed like this all the time, I know there are probably the corpses of several frozen-to-death kittens nearby, I know the gray and black pair mr. Orange has been taking care of both have eye infections and upper respiratory infections and probably won't last the winter. I can't do anything about any of this and have mostly accepted it. But seeing it happen in front of me was really upsetting. I hope she died instantly.

Erected a second trellis made from woven wire fence panels in this raised bed. (The first one is to the left and has snap peas growing up it). Planted loofah seeds at closest legs and some random pole beans in a few spots along the length. Random because the dried pods came from the green waste dumpster after someone's fall garden clean out (initially attracted by some marigold seedheads hanging out, but found the vines when I actually lifted the lid). They're white seeds so probably one of the more common varieties. I tend to like bush beans better than pole beans for cooking fresh, but they do take up less horizontal space and tend to do decent dried so.
Tumblr media
Then I put up a small panel for the perennial pea vine on the end, held in place with a few short u-posts and zip ties. I also scavenged the seed for this, got it to sprout last year but not do terribly great (drought), but this year it's exploded with growth and I have high hopes for blossoms.
I've also decided that I need to move the passion vines because the bitches want to climb and I need them not to take over the supports for the tomatoes. Plus I watched a YouTube video and got a greater appreciation of just how big one vine can get when in full sun. The new bed I'm planning on replacing some grass with will be 2' x 15', run along the sidewalk, and get southern exposure so the plan is to construct a fence/trellis along the back of it for the passion vine. Unfortunately, the clay soil is much too wet to put the bed in and will be for the foreseeable future (which is the only time I will whine about the rain). Trying to figure out how trashy it will look to just construct a random section of fencelike structure in the middle of my front yard to get the vines transplanted and just...build the bed in front of it later. I guess I could just try potting up the vines, but I really don't want to kill them and they're doing so well. More research may be needed.
But now I have to pause to go gather up the chickens' food for the week. I'm hoping to get some bush beans and squash in the ground when I get back.

Expert Tips for Efficient Residential Dumpster Rental in Killeen, Texas
Planning a home renovation, spring cleaning, or tackling a long-overdue decluttering project? If you reside in Killeen, Texas, and anticipate generating a significant amount of waste, renting a dumpster is a practical and efficient solution. However, navigating the dumpster rental process for the first time can be overwhelming. Worry not! This guide provides expert tips to ensure a smooth and efficient residential dumpster rental experience in Killeen, TX.
1. Assess Your Needs: Size Matters
Before contacting rental companies, meticulously assess the volume of debris you expect to generate. Dumpster sizes typically range from 10 yards to 40 yards, with 10-yard and 15-yard options being most common for residential projects. Here’s a breakdown to help you estimate:
10-yard dumpster: Ideal for minor renovations, yard cleanups, or large furniture disposal. Holds roughly the equivalent of four pickup truck beds.
15-yard dumpster: Suitable for medium-sized renovations, roof replacements, or extensive landscaping projects. Holds roughly the equivalent of six pickup truck beds.
Pro Tip: When in doubt, opt for a slightly larger dumpster to avoid the hassle of overflowing or needing a second rental. Renting a dumpster with some extra space is generally more cost-effective than exceeding the weight limit and incurring additional charges.
2. Research Local Dumpster Rental Companies in Killeen, TX
With a plethora of dumpster rental companies operating in Killeen, TX, conducting thorough research is crucial. Here are some key factors to consider:
Company reputation: Read online reviews and customer testimonials to gauge the company’s reliability, service quality, and responsiveness.
Pricing and permit costs: Obtain quotes from several companies, ensuring they include permit fees (if applicable) and any disposal charges for specific waste types. Be wary of hidden fees or excessively cheap rates, as they might indicate inferior service or surprise costs later.
Delivery and pick-up flexibility: Inquire about delivery and pick-up windows to ensure they align with your project schedule. Some companies offer weekend or evening drop-off and pick-up for added convenience.
Waste disposal restrictions: Not all materials can be disposed of in dumpsters. Understand the company’s policies regarding hazardous waste, electronics, yard waste, and other restricted items. Plan accordingly to dispose of these items responsibly through alternative channels.
3. Obtain Permits (if necessary)
Depending on Killeen’s local regulations, you might require a permit to place a dumpster on your property, particularly if it sits on the street or sidewalk. Contact your local municipality’s public works department to inquire about permit requirements, fees, and the application process. The dumpster rental company you choose might also be able to assist you with obtaining the necessary permits.
4. Prepare Your Driveway or Disposal Area
Designate a level and clear area on your driveway or property for the dumpster placement. Ensure there are no overhead obstructions like power lines or tree branches that could hinder placement. If placing the dumpster on the street, adhere to any local placement restrictions to avoid blocking traffic or pedestrian walkways.
5. Optimize Dumpster Usage and Disposal
Once the dumpster arrives, maximize its capacity by strategically breaking down bulky items and disposing of them in a flat and compact manner. Heavy items should be placed at the bottom to prevent the dumpster from becoming unbalanced.
Pro Tip: To prevent rain from accumulating and adding unnecessary weight, cover the top of the dumpster with a tarp when not actively adding debris.
6. Responsible Disposal Considerations for Dumpster Rental in Killeen, TX
Remember, certain materials cannot be disposed of in dumpsters. Here’s a quick rundown of restricted items in Killeen, TX (always double-check with your chosen rental company for their specific guidelines):
Hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, batteries)
Electronics (TVs, computers, monitors)
Appliances (with Freon)
Tires
Medical waste
Asbestos
Explore alternative disposal methods for these items through Killeen’s recycling programs or certified hazardous waste disposal facilities.
By following these expert tips, you can ensure a smooth and efficient residential dumpster rental experience in Killeen, Texas. Remember to research reputable companies, select the appropriate dumpster size, and dispose of waste responsibly. With a little planning and these helpful guidelines, your next Killeen, TX home improvement or decluttering project will be a breeze!
