Who is your favorite fictional clown?

Honestly clowns aren't really an aesthetic I particularly care about at all, but for the sake of an interesting answer I'm not counting clown alt skins for like gacha girls I like, nor am I counting clownish personality but none of the aesthetic or anything. We're here for career clowns, jesters, village idiots and beyond. Although having said that I think my answer is just this guy

Cicero's fun, we all like Cicero. One of the better acted characters in Skyrim. Good follower. Creepy even by Dark Brotherhood standards. All around standout guy.

I have had two friends whose decisions tore our friendships apart. The first one was a wild child, living for the party life, flaunting herself, and then she found out she was pregnant. She told me casually one day while we were out shopping, terrified of my reaction because she was planning to abort. But something shifted in her once she learned she was carrying twins. She decided to keep them, and I am grateful those babies were spared. Our friendship ended later, but at least she chose life.

The second friend was in a different situation. She told me she was going to have an abortion because, if she did not, her marriage would fall apart. Her husband was an idiot because he did not want more children and force her into that kind of ultimatum. I was furious. This was her third child, and I had already offered to take in the baby and raise it myself if she did not want to, she did, but it was her husband. We had a fight about it, and then she went silent for a week. I knew in my gut what had happened. When she finally got back to me, it was already done. I told her she needed to forgive herself, but I could not stay friends after that. The pain of losing those connections, knowing what could have been, was unbearable.

These are the moments that test everything you believe.

Dei bambini mi indicano di non entrare nella casa in cui si invecchia in fretta, la chiamavano così, ma io dovevo recuperare della cose, perché prima quella casa era mia, prima che ci trasferissimo; era una specie di quartiere pedonale in cui tutte le case, coi loro giardini erano tutte vicine; c'era una specie di confine intorno alla casa, da non superare, segnato da una bambina che ripeteva sempre lo stesso movimento, con un bastone. Entrai, non andai a specchiarmi, nel senso, era come alice attraverso lo specchio, come quando lei passa attraverso ed era tutto al contrario, ecco, non andai al contrario, rimasi al giusto; cercavo tra le cose, conoscevo quasi tutta la casa a memoria, anche se c'erano delle porte nel corridoio che non ricordavo, cercavo e cercavo e una mia zia, vecchia, credo, mi interrompeva, mandava mia cugina, questa bambina sconosciuta, e c'era forse un altra bambina. Cercavo, non trovai nulla e uscii.

Quando tornai a casa, i bambini che mi avvertirono, erano lì ad aspettarmi; guardandoli vidi che ero rimasta uguale, che non ero invecchiata nella "casa in cui si invecchia in fretta", pensai fosse perché non sono andata al contrario.

My entry: "Shadow-work is evil." - Aressida. 16.10.24. The New Agers have allowed themselves to be deceived into "accepting" their darkness, which in hindsight was a clever trap. I have been through my shadow-work and faced the deepest parts of my own inner darkness, not once, but twice. Let me tell you, it was not just about confronting what is within, it was about enduring the trials that come with it, facing demons head-on, and coming out the other side stronger, more refined. Each time, I came out with a deeper understanding of myself and the spiritual battle we all face. And every battle has only made me stronger. There is a liberation in truly seeing your own shadows, vanquishing what clings to your soul, and allowing yourself to step into the light, not Lucifer's false illumination, but the true light of Christ. Do not confuse the two, because one saves, and the other enslaves. It is through that kind of battle you become free.
