Art Deco Fabulous 1930s Black with Gold Lamé Old Hollywood Gown, Large for just $275.00 This is a truly glamorous 30s gown that I can just see in an old Hollywood movie! It is long with some goring for a nice flow. The best thing is the lamé trim around the neck and sleeves! Simply amazing. The fabric is a thin crepe. Where the lamé is, the material is sheer (most likely silk) and has threading through it. The bodice has double rows of pleating down it; just wonderful tailoring. Snaps up the side. The back neckline has tiny covered buttons. It did not come with the original belt, but I will be including a replacement belt from Nordstrom that looks perfect for the dress: it has some sequins at end of sash part and is fringed; of course you can always use something else, like I did. It is on the Large side, but will fit numerous sizes, as you can cinch it in with this or another belt. It is just a fabulous example of 30s style. The necklace is not included with the dress Condition: It is in an excellent condition for it's age; no flaws that I can see. The material is strong and the dress is quite wearable Measurements: Medium to Large or from US Size 10 to 14 Underarm to underarm across the back 20 but this is deceptive as the bottom of the sleeves is quite low; I am 40 in chest and it is plenty big on me so would go pretty much larger than this due to all the gathers in front. Across the waist 19 Across the hip area 22.75 Length 54.5 Belt is 3" wide, 27" long in wide part with 18" long sash part (one side seems slightly longer than other) not counting the fringe.
