Custom making the base for the bottom of the Vent that lets in Air through the Frontend, on the Oval Track Racer Version. Then fitting the Dragster Version with thin Styrene pieces over the space where headlights would go, because a lot of Drag Race Cars take out the headlights and seal the holes/housing to give the car more Wind/Friction Resistance along with a more aerodynamic body to increase the speed of the car! Important Detailing Step. Etching the Frames, Specific Lines, & more of the Car, that came out very lightly or not at all because of the mold, considering this kit was molded from a 60+ year old die/mold!! So, etch with an X-acto Blade, or a similar Tool. *DO NOT DO THIS IN ANY LOCATION THAT A DECAL WILL BE PLACED* - Keep those lines flat, since decals need to lay flat and easy ,and without any possible air bubbles. So, the first steps were to Clean up, Scribe/Etch the lines of the Car, do some pretty simple by hand, customizations, & We readied a part of the front end for a Customization down the line. Removing not just some excess Flash on the front end, but also removing the Windshield Wipers by hand with a File. Drag Cars dont have windshield wipers. Lol, so to make it realistic, you have to remove them. And then drill a narrow hole over the Windshield Wipers connection bolt Spot to show that they were removed.
