Important Detailing Step. Etching the Frames, Specific Lines, & more of the Car, that came out very lightly or not at all because of the mold, considering this kit was molded from a 60+ year old die/mold!! So, etch with an X-acto Blade, or a similar Tool. *DO NOT DO THIS IN ANY LOCATION THAT A DECAL WILL BE PLACED* - Keep those lines flat, since decals need to lay flat and easy ,and without any possible air bubbles. So, the first steps were to Clean up, Scribe/Etch the lines of the Car, do some pretty simple by hand, customizations, & We readied a part of the front end for a Customization down the line. Removing not just some excess Flash on the front end, but also removing the Windshield Wipers by hand with a File. Drag Cars dont have windshield wipers. Lol, so to make it realistic, you have to remove them. And then drill a narrow hole over the Windshield Wipers connection bolt Spot to show that they were removed. Showing the easiest way to Attach the License Design to the License Plate. Thomas Tramontano is choosing to do it this way since this Build is a Drag Car and the License Plate in Real Life Would be Purely Decorative and Removed before Most Races. On most of Thomas Tramontano's builds His License Plates are Much more Intricate and takes more skill to design.
