Why did you choose your URL?

It's a combination of a couple of old jokes I had from middle school, the older of which was actually kind of a mean thing that I won't get into. However, KanoNavi was the second iteration of my old url FritoNavi, and because it rolled off the tongue better I decided to just switch to that full time.

I've tried sideblogs a couple times in the past, but they never stuck. I prefer to keep everything in one place, even if it means bombarding my non-Genshin mutuals with Genshin all the time (Sorry guys, thanks for sticking with me lol <3)

Oh hay! Can you tell us a bit about your fursona?

hii i ABSOLUTELY can! his full name is ethan burns, and hes a cute raccoon. he barely has any real lore, or personality (aside from some tidbits about his piss), but ive had him as my only sona ever for a good 4 years or so and ive both gotten better at drawing and modified him a decent amount since then (that's part of why he doesn't look much like a raccoon). so this will be more like a mostly comprehensive history of his design and the very small very incremental changes to his appearance since day 1.

anyways! this is proto-ethan from April 2019

i had been tossing around ideas for a fursona for a while in my head but realized i wanted to make him a raccoon after reading an old tumblr post about making fursonas. it's two tone cause i wasn't brave enough to pick out colors at the time, which definitely made him look less raccoonish later on. the ears being light on the inside and dark on the outside probably also contributed to that - real raccoons have a sorta rim of light colored fur around their mostly dark colored ears.

THESE are like the beta and full releases of ethan from may and june 2019 respectively. most of his features were defined back then and all changes going forward are like, extremely minimal. the most prominent changes since proto ethan include the removal of the dark fur running from his forehead to his nose, digitigrade legs (i did change them back to plantigrade legs eventually), and making the side of his face and his chest have big tufts of fur (the arrangement of tufts got standardized pretty quickly because im a bitch about keeping his design consistent. not his color though weeee). here are some discord pfps i had of him back in the day

i experimented with giving him a bigger nose and claws among other very minor revisions - since then, his snout has gotten smaller, his fur tufts have gotten bigger, his ears have gotten SIGNIFICANTLY bigger, and he's taller and less stocky. also worth noting how his oval nose slowly morphed into an actual nose shape over time

i also made a bunch of 3d models of him at different points in time, most of which never got totally finished but these are probably the best representation overall of how his design changed over time (ordered by time of creation, the one with no mouth is the oldest from September 2020)

but yeah i dont have much else to say about his design and how it changed over time. also a lot of it can also just be chalked up to me becoming a better artist so there's that.

oh and as a thank you for scrolling through all these itty bitty details about my fursona, let me elaborate about the piss lore i mentioned at the start 1) he pisses liquid nitrogen. 2) due to having no genitals of his own to piss with, he basically remote-accesses the genitals of others nearby and forces his piss out of there. needless to say the experience is deeply unpleasant for those whose genitals he takes control of

1. why did you choose your url?

multiple reasons:

I chose chemicalbrew as my go-to handle everywhere important, because the handle I picked for this purpose as a teen is cringe

I like having canon URLs; especially if they are kind of hard-to-get and\or subtle references, which this one is perfect for, IMO. The last time I felt good about a handle in this sense was when I went by theplanetbuster

I like katzero :) a normal amount :) and I always will I think :)

Chemical Brew is just a good track and I love being reminded of its existence every time I log on anywhere.

I'm too lazy to upkeep them, so I compensate with my tagging system... I always choose my headers with purpose, though it's not quite the case here: this is a holdover from when I was cherrymegablaster, and it's meant to directly complement that URL in a way that's obvious if you played the game. LOL

I kept it because it's funny to call a drink a chemical brew (and because there's not enough DLC footage for me to make a nice gif with. There's a few stills I really like, but I prefer my headers animated!) ...and because I'm just really happy with the gif.

People can claim I'm entitled and cuildish but if roles were reversed, they would want an explanation and evidence to. You can't make accusations against a person then proceed to never let that person in on what's going on, it doesn't work like that.

"He said to not blast music and you threw a fit" did he also mention that 1 I started turning my volume down after he mentioned it and 2 it was because he instead of leaving the call isti n silence. I was watching tiktoks even after I turned my volume down he would complain that I'm not paying attention to him.

I'm childish? But the person who accused me brought up stuff from 2 years ago. The sexual abuse claim makes very little sense to me, if he doesn't make it obvious that he is uncomfortable or did not want the interaction how was I suppose to know? He never gave any slightest hint he was uncomfortable,he never stated it either, in fact he consistently gave enthusiastic consent.

When it comes to the Andy thing that was honestly meant to be a joke,and only a joke, if he had told me he was uncomfortable with it, or with that type of joke I would have stopped.

Based of how you reacted to the incident I stated where we kicked someone for faking osdd (Which was agreed upon by orb) that gives me the feeling that you are the person we kicked. If you aren't my bad that's just the way you came across. But if you are know that even Orb saw through you and said you were faking I still have the screenshots.

I don't block people because I "Know they're right" I block people because simply don't have the energy to deal with their harassment, they made a whole account just to slander me and try to silence me.

I only ever wanted answers and to defend myself. There was no harm in letting me see the evidence,there was no harm in letting me try to prove my innocence, you all could have still chosen to not believe me, chosen to ignore me,chosen to block me. Yet that didn't happen instead of taking the high road and letting me prove my innocence, then move on you all chose to slander,harrass,and attempt to silence me. It shows that somewhere deep down there is insecurity and part of you knows that the mods have some blame in this.

I admit that I don't always handle things the way I should, I'm prone to over explaining,not letting things go,and jumping to extremes when threatened. It's something I have always struggled with, that however doesn't mean that I am malicious,lying,ot manipulating anything. I'm showing my end of the story.

The reason I never came forward sooner is because due to a lot of what I've been through it takes me a while to realize the way someone treated me wasn't ok, and me and him at that point had calm down,started to be friendly,and left each other alone. I didn't see the point in bringing it up especially since I knew with the stigma surrounding bpd, that no one would believe me.

I am prone to anger especially back when "elm" and I met, I had just found out a year prior that I had bpd and had been struggling to work on it since I couldn't and still can't afford therapy. I had told him from the start about it and explained what I knew about the disorder,I even told him about the stigma surrounding it and hour abusers tend to target pwbpd and turn them into the abusers. He used this against me continued to push and push. I was splitting so much that I felt like I couldn't breath. That every move I made had to be dictated by him. This isn't me using it as an excuse this is me showing how it effects me. When I told him that his actions were causing splits, he honestly should have stopped. He would always claim "Oh I'll do better." But never did at some point I gre bitter and thought "Why should I have to change but not him? Why should I work on myself but not him? Why does he pin everything on me? Why?why?why?" Then we mostly cut contact and what do you know I was no longer splitting 2,3,4 times a week. Finally I could breath. Then this happened, I don't know why he would start all this up, I can't pretend to know. It has been 2 years yet in a time of peace and silence he throws a rock into the pond and attempts to ruin what calm I had finally built. He knew I wouldn't go quietly,he knew I would cause a fuss. I played into his hand out of my own instinct to protect myself. I was a idiot, I still am and Idiot.

At this point I want silence and I want peace. Believe me to be the villain,believe that I'm a horrible abuser. Feed into his lies. I don't care anymore, I'm going to continue with my life and work on healing from all the damage he caused. I'm going to enjoy doing stupid shit with my closest friends,friends who don't push,who know I'm not a malicious person. Friend who care for me deeply. 1. Why did you choose your url?

So when I first made my account on Fanfiction.net, I was just getting into Doctor Who and I thought it’d be cute to include my favorite sweet, so I became Chocovian (still there as that on Fanfiction and AO3, but it’s a long story). Anyways, when I joined Tumblr, I wanted to keep things consistent so I kept that but I was also on a bit of a Marvel binge when I was joining, so I thought, ooh superheroes! which combined with what I had initially became superchocovian.

2. Any side blogs?

Nah. I’ve thought about it, but everything is just dumped into this one blog and I do my best to tag everything so at least it’s semi-organized.

3. How long have you been on tumblr?

I first made the account the summer before I started college, I think, so back in 2015? I wasn’t very consistent with it until a few years later when I downloaded the app on my phone and figured out how to work things.

4. Do you have a queue tag?

No tag for the queue, though I do use it for mostly everything that is posted on my blog for the past few years. Anything else that I see on my dash ends up in my queue until I can organize it with my tags and all. It’s why I have wayyy too many posts in my drafts but now that school is over and once I get a job, I’ll have a better time at actually reblogging things when I see them instead of saving for later.

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

A lot of the fanfic authors that I was reading for The Hunger Games kept mentioning Tumblr for sneak peeks and updates about their posts and I’m like “yes please” and I caved and made my Tumblr.

6. Why did you choose your icon/pfp?

I was really happy that Emma and Killian from Once Upon a Time got their happy ending/beginning with their baby and I wanted to memorialize it. I should get around to updating it cause I’ve had it since the finale of the show.

7. Why did you choose your header?

All of the backgrounds that I have on my phone and laptop are of something nature/space wise so this fit right in.

I reblog mostly everything, so I have no idea. I did make a few gifsets last summer for one of the Once events so they got a handful of notes. Probably one of those.

Not many? I don’t know how to check that or all, but I wouldn’t assume too many. I’m kinda stuck in a little bubble here and don’t interact with as many people as I would like to.

1. Why did you choose your url?: When i was a kid and on my first social media sites (basically Deviantart and mail accounts) i always used "jackdragon" as my username because of Jack Redfield from Memorias de Idhún, I wanted to keep that theme on Tumblr and I came up with this one I quite like :)

2. Any side blogs?: Yes, both are dead but I don't really know how / want to delete them lol, they're @skamesptranslations for, well, Skam España clip translations; and @gleespana again, pretty self explanatory, I had a project of rebooting Glee but set in Spain and with Spanish songs and stuff.

I joined Tumblr specifically because I was a smol Downton Abbey fan, so my URL is a quote from that - and I have an unfortunate amount of loyalty to it, so I’ve never changed my URL.

Why did you choose your url?

HazelMine is my gamertag when I first started playing Overwatch and I decided to make it the same for The Sims. I added sims on the end because HazelMine is taken by some ghost who is not even using it...lol! I thought of the name because my eyes are hazel and well..they are mine.. 😋

I joined in 2006 when I was about to stop posting on my blogspot blog. I started sharing my sims years after that.

Sooo once a month, I get a little more talkative and little more irritable... I try my best to keep my mouth closed during that time. ☺ I don’t see the need to fight though. A lot of young people are on here and I would much rather they see a healthy discussion between adults or at least between 2 or more people that can respect one another’s opinion.

Don’t force it. I love to reblog things that make me smile. Sometimes my arm/wrist/hand is hurting so I reblog less. Just do you.
