Throwback Vmin - #2019BTSFESTA

Ready for another Vmin throwback? This time it’s BTS FESTA 2019. Tae somewhat decided to say out loud that his life was Jimin, but in a very, very subtle manner… I hope that you’ll like my wild theory

[Long post, more under the cut]

Jimin was just saying to Tae that Yoongi was “on fire” because he was talking a lot, and Tae just randomly gave his hand to Jimin :’3

Jimin : Taehyung’s become an awesome guy. Seokjin was saying that Tae changed a lot. Jimin supports his Tae

And then Tae explains how Jimin has changed through the years:

Tae : Around when we first debuted, he seemed a little sensitive. Sensitive because he was anxious.

When Tae starts talking, Jimin has his arms crossed, and he’s visibly tense.

Tae : He’s a good friend, and I can even say he’s my best friend…

Just be friends, hm? >:3c When Tae says he’s a “good friend”, Jimin is more relaxed. But then he adds “I can even say he’s my best friend-” and Namjoon & Seokjin burst out laughing. Like. Namjoon, Seokjin, please tell us what the joke is, hm?? >:3 Tae also has a “I want to laugh too but I need to contain it” face. And Jimin looks at him fondly. can say on a broadcast, for sure.

edit : I’ve read that the correct translation is “my one and only best friend”. It’s even better. ;_;

AND Namjoon interrupts him to say “You argued a lot”. Maybe he wanted to change the subject quickly? Maybe he was afraid that Tae would say too much?

We can only speculate on what Tae is saying here, but I find it very sweet. They are very different people, that’s for sure. They had an important difference. But now, they do not have that difference anymore, and Jimin’s less anxious about it. This could be related to their work, their bickering like the dumpling incident, but this also could be about their relationship? I don’t want to be too wild in my theories, so I’ll let you guess the meaning of these words. :3

NEVERMIND, NOW BUCKLE UP, WE’RE GOING ON THE WILD ANALYSIS TRAIN.

Namjoon : Describe yourself in five syllabes! Jimin, being adorable : Cutie lovely!

And. Remember what he said at the beginning?

Jimin : [When I was a kid] many told me I looked pretty (예쁜).

Aw, Jimin is pretty-cutie-lovely.

After Jimin’s quick response, Tae took a long time to think about his answer. What did he finally say when describing himself in five syllabes?

Tae : My life is pretty (이쁜).

Even Namjoon is surprised : why “pretty”? It’s usually used to describe people!

SO. Jimin has described himself as “cutie lovely”, and previously said that people often called him “pretty”. And then Tae says that “his life is pretty”.

We know that Tae thoroughly thinks about what he says, even if people don’t always understand. My take is that this is another clever, very subtle way for Tae to express his love for Jimin : he just said that his life is Jimin.

And nobody understood. (Maybe even Jimin did not understood it).

Tae : I feel like if I don’t take this opportunity with BTS, *Jimin puts his arm around him* I don’t think I’d be happy as I am now.

Tae was talking about the fact that BTS was a “once-in-a-lifetime chance from God”. And when he says “I don’t think I’d be happy as I am now”, he makes a gesture towards Jimin. This could be an unconscious gesture and that’s SO??? CUTE?????

“I love you” ♡

During #2018BTSFESTA, Tae said that he wants to hear “I love you” when he’s down.

During #2019BTSFESTA, Jimin asked Hoseok “what made him happy just by hearing it”. He did not even let him think about it and said “I love you”!

The other members concluded that it was Jimin that loved to hear and say “I love you” the most....... :’3

So when later he said “I love you” to Namjoon and that he did not answer it back, Jimin said that only Tae say “I love you” back....
