I can't believe it's already been 6 years!!!!

From debut, to playing small venues, to literally selling out stadiums worldwide and earning every award and record along the way, BTS have managed to capture the hearts of practically everyone around them, and that includes my own.

Although it's true that I'm not part of the OG ARMY (I really wish I could say I am), I have still come to love BTS as if I am one. I can honestly say that I owe so much to these boys and I'm beyond grateful for every single one of them. Whether it's lyrics, music, choreography, or simply theme/concepts, everything is symbolic and everything always seems to have a purpose, as each individual part comes together they work in harmony to form this inspirational, genuine, and in-depth message that so many, such as myself, find relatable. It's beautiful and it's definitely something the world needs to focus more on these days, so thank you BTS for using your voices and platform in such a monumental way.

Now I hate to bring the celebratory atmosphere down, and although I feel like this shouldn't even need to be said, I'm going to say it anyway. I've seen a lot of hatred being spread around social media for a while now, both between "fans" and also singling out members of BTS, and I'm kind of tired of it. Look, I don't care about popularity contests, plain and simple. Yes I'm aware that some members are talked about or referenced more than others, but I could care less about that because, and I say this with absolute certainty, I love and respect each member equally, and no matter what I will continue to support them all through thick and thin; success or failure, because they would not be the BTS we know and love if one of them was not in the picture.

You see, when it comes to people I truly care about, I focus more on a person's character than anything else. The way these boys show their appreciation towards their fans and also the bond we see them share with one another tells me everything; these 7 are a family and it's going to take more than haters and negativity to destroy that. So with that in mind I just want to say one last thing: Can we stop with the disrespect and damaging behavior? I mean BTS is all about love, loving yourself as much as loving others, so I would think as fans and as ARMY the least we can do to honor that, is to reciprocate those feelings towards one another. So let me start. Even though I might not know you all personally, I do still wish you all the best, and now I hope you will do the same for one another. Thank you 💜
