#2022 Grammys

I doubt they are pushing LNT for a Grammy at all, they moved the release from Friday which is a release day in the industry to Wednesday, most likely so it wouldn’t overshadow other artists. Besides that, for now the tune does not have any achievements charts wise, it’s stable in the top 20 but that’s it. I originally thought that they may submit it for Best Vocal Performance since it matches the vibe but it seems like their releases until the end of Grammy 202e eligibility period will be pushed aside by AIW.

I think they know better than to split the votes by pushing a second song while AIW is still killing it. It’s a shame, IMO, because it’s not my favorite song on the album. But it’s a hell of a lot better than another WS with a stupid narrative attached to it.

Megan went BOLD for the Grammy Awards. I absolutely love the use of multiple animal prints. There’s cheetah on the outside, zebra on the inside, and then another pattern on the lining. I really loved that she kept the same color scheme with different patterns. This dress looked amazing!

I really loved the jewelry she chose. I thought the clunkier bracelets looked great since the colors kinda matched the dress. I also loved the snake earrings. This was such a fun outfit! I thought Megan looked absolutely amazing!

I'm so used to being here on tumblr that whenever I mention the (moral) victory of Käärijä on any other site I'm surprised when the "realists" show up to tell me that Loreen is the winner and that she's killing it on the music charts and the juries are necesary to keep the contest serious and blablabla.

Someone just told me that Loreen is already in the same division than "Ariana, Taylor, Dua, Miley..." while he's nowhere to be found and Im like, what do you mean everyone knows he's on the beach with Frank.

Jikook Week 20 Complete ✔️(23/04 - 30/04/2024)

Their twentieth week in the military is now complete and time to celebrate this milestone with a look back at this week in 2022.

BTS returned to Seoul from Las Vegas the previous week (18/04/2022). On the same day, Jimin posted photos from their concerts including this jikook snap on Instagram.

On the 21/04 we were treated to a little reminder of their time in LV with the release of their Butter stage from the 64th Grammy ceremony. This stage was rated as No. 14 in the Rolling Stone 30 Greatest Grammy Performances article published in February 2023.

Now they were back home, group activities had finished for the time being and, although we didn't know it at the time, the members thoughts turned to their solo projects. Jimin started working with Pdogg, Ghostloop and Evan to lay down the tracks that would later become Face.

But Face was not his first solo project to be released. On 24/04 With You the first ever track to be included on Jimin's Spotify listing was dropped with very little fanfare . It was a beautiful duet recorded with his close friend Ha Sung Woon and formed part of the OST of the tv series Our Blues. Billboard later included it in the list of 25 best k-pop songs of 2022. It was an auspicious start to his solo career.

Finally this week BTS began promoting the release of their Sowoozoo package which was recorded during this on-line Muster streaming event held on 13-14/06/2021.

It was an event that had gifted us these jikook looks and moments.

BILLIE EILISH at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on April 3rd 2022 wearing RICK OWENS

I feel like I can never complain about Billie. Even if I don’t like a particular outfit, I know that she is wearing something that’s very true to her style and brand.

There is a lot of fabric in this look. It’s very oversized but somehow also very structured. It really works well and somehow isn’t overwhelming on Billie. I really liked the whole coat and dress and how it worked together. I also loved the boots she wore.

I know I said I hate sunglasses on the red carpet, but I’ll make a concession for Billie. I think they look very cool with her all black outfit. I also like that they’re smaller and she has them down so we can see her eyes. The whole vibe of this look is just very cool.
