Day One: Favorite Character

My favorite character is Lapis Lazuli! I relate to her so much it hurts. Her experiences and her relationships mirror mine in a way and it made me really wanna give her a hug. Her being immune to Blue Diamond’s sadness effect made me feel bad but also good because it was like she was coming to terms that she can heal and will heal to be better.

I love her character arch so much and she will continue to be my favorite.

I wish I could draw her new outfit, but I haven’t had very good days so this is all I could muster for today.

It’s Over Isn’t It is my top favorite song from the show. It’s the perfect thing to sing along to when I’m having one of my down periods and I just need to let myself be angsty for the sake of exorcising it. The song doesn’t even exactly match my problems. It’s the sheer emotive pain that I feel from this song that moves me.
