May I present, my attempt at illustrating the last four pages of Tevinter Nights. 😁 (Also, the first time I'm posting art on here!)

As the whole thing was quite literally too long to post on tumblr, I uploaded the full version on a customized site made for reading webcomics (via ComicFury). On a personal note though, I can't believe I actually finished it... As it had been a *very* long time since I drew (and finished) anything, let alone a 31 page comic and reading Tevinter Nights again finally sparked my motivation (and the courage to post it lol). So I want to thank Patrick Weekes for helping me overcome this massive art block and over two decades of Case Closed mangas for inspiring me how to draw an overly dramatic "exposing the imposter" moment. 😂 I tried my best to be as faithful to the book as possible and it took me forever, so... hope you like it! :D

Antoní is PLATONICALLY blushing bc he's flustered that someone would care enough to give him something in general🙂🫶!! He's thinking, 'Woah, a whole scarf! Omg, this is so sweet and kind!!' (NO ITS NOT IT'S THE BARE MINUMUM-). Also, sorry, Alastors shoulders kinda look less broad😓! Also, pg 15 (or 16?) Angel dust's cheeks look more pinchable than I remember lol🤭!

Anyways, we're finally kinda back to the present!😁 but uh-oh, Angel knows there'll be consequences eventually☹️ I feel like Alastor has only been saying Antoní, but I promise he'll have more dialogue in the next one😥!!! He just missed his little boy; he hasn't said that name in years!! Also, I should let it be known that Angel Dust's human form WILL be getting a haircut‼️ it may look aesthetically messy, but it's actually just clumped up hair!🤫

It is done!!!! I finished sewing (see my earlier post) and managed to get a nice sunny picture of the whole blanket as well 🥰 incredible. I haven't measured it but I'd say it's more than the envisioned 2m in length 😅 not dramatically more though and it's a really nice length as well, so I'm very happy ❤️

This doesn't mean the blanket is finished though. First order of business is to clean up the sewing. There's places where either the seams have come undone or I forgot to weave in the end or the end is tiny and I now have to magic knot on a longer end to properly secure the seam - as well as the edge seams that have come undone quite a while ago. I've already started on this in the afternoon (after taking this picture 😁). Second order of business is to crochet a border around the whole thing so a) the edge is really secure and b) it looks more cohesive and finished (like it's framed 😃). Both of these make it kind of hard to have a cat in your lap while you're doing it though, so let's see how well Tilly lets me progress on this 😁 I still have to look up which crochet stitch will look good for this and then probably practice a bit before committing on the blanket. I've dabbled a bit in crochet before but it's not really my thing, so I'm not super great at it. Any suggestions for edging stitches are welcome!

To celebrate this milestone we have two Tilly pictures in the blanket 🎉🎉🎉

I started sewing this together on 14.08.2023 and finished today, 06.04.2025, which means this took me 1 year and almost 8 months. In the grand scheme of this project, that's nothing 😁

Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm for my little project, it's really nice to see other people being excited for this thing I started almost 10 years ago ❤️❤️❤️ Here's to finishing it off by November! I'll keep you posted 😊

This is the third year I’m running a Monster March event, and excited!! Also I got the prompt list out super early so theres’s plenty of time!

The collection can be found here, but until then, here are the rules and FAQs. Oh and I guess posting guidelines. The rules and FAQs are taken right from the previous collections, with a few new additions.

Rules:

1. Please use archive warnings when they apply. On that note, Please tag your works appropriately and completely.

2. Be polite to other posters. That’s fairly simple, I think.

3. Don’t overwork or stress yourself. Please.

4. DO NOT use GenAI. Or at least be smart enough to not mention it.

5. All works must be newly created for this event. Sorry, no old or recycled works are allowed.

6. That’s it. Those are the rules.

Q: Do I have to fill every day?

A: Abso-fucking-lutely not. You could do one day, or you could do seven, or fifteen, or twenty seven, or all thirty-one! You could even do multiple works for each day, if you were so motivated and ambitious. The most important parts are to have fun and not stress yourself.

Q: Is this event 18+ only?

A: I’d prefer it if it was, but I don’t think I can stop people from contributing. Content-wise, no. Post whatever form of monster appreciation you want!

Q: Does my work have to be a certain length?

A: Nope!

Q: Can I post art for this?

A: Yes. I will love you if you do.

Q: Can I post the first chapter of a work but not finish it before March ends?

A: Of course!

Q: Can I combine this with another event?

A: As long as it’s fine with the other event, yes.

Q: Does each day have to be its own separate work? Can I make a chapter for every day?

A: You can, if you want, make one long work. I personally recommend not doing that, especially if you’re crossing fandoms and relationships. Also more individual works means more kudos. But you do you.

Q: Can I write or draw X monster instead of Y monster?

A: No

Q: Is there open posting/Can I post at a later date?

A: Yes! Post whenever you want. I’ll officially be closing the collection in September, so you have until then 😁

Q: Am I allowed to write or draw X tag?

A: Yes. I’m just hosting the collection and running the event. Please tag it, though.

Q: Why do you allow X?!

A: Again, I’m just hosting the collection and running the event.

Q: Does this have to be for a specific fandom? Are Original Works allowed?

A: It can be any fandom! It can be an original work! Let your imagination run free!

Q: Does it have to be about sex?

A: Nope. Love comes in many forms, and this is about appreciating monsters.

Q: Can I use GenAI?

A: No. You cannot. Not for writing, not for your summary, not for art. I guess you could use it for prompts but maybe just find a prompt generator instead. Or send me a message, I can help too. This is about human creativity.

Q: What do you mean by “only new works?” Can I continue a series?

A: I mean that everything posted must be new. It can be part of an existing series! It cannot, however, be a new chapter in an already existing work.

Q: What you have for day X isn’t a monster!

A: To you. I asked one personally and they wanted to be on the list.

They found out he was nearby when the murder happened. So, they proceeded to ask him about it but your boyfriend denied and now they wanted to ask you to confirm his alibi.

"At 10.30 p.m last night, do you know where was your boyfriend?"

"I asked him to buy me some foods since both of us were too lazy to cook."

"What restaurant that still opened at that time, Y/n? As far as I know most of it closed at 10:00."

"Street foods. Jungwon bought us tteokbokki last night. It still counts as food right? It doesn't mean Jungwon need to buy from a restaurant."

The police stared at you trying to look for a lie but he just sighed when he couldn't detect any lie from you. You also felt relieved when he finally stopped asking questions.

"Alright, thanks for cooperating with us. You may see your boyfriend at the next room."

The police said as he led you to the room to see your boyfriend. You watched how he just stared at his hands on the table ignoring what the police in front of him said. When you finally entered the room, he quickly looked up as if he could recognize you from your scent.

"Yang Jungwon, you are free to go. We have confirmed your alibi with your girlfriend."

The polices left both of you alone. Jungwon walked closer and hugged you.

"They didn't hurt you, right?"

"No, Jungwon. I'm okay. Let's go home."

"I'm glad they didn't disturb us about the case. Just because you were walking on that road, that doesn't mean you were the one who did it!"

You said while eating the popcorn and watching the movie you set up with Jungwon. He made your head leaned on his shoulder and caressed your hair.

"It's okay baby. It's over now."

You continued watching the whole movie until you sleep on your boyfriend side. Jungwon smiled at your snoring. He played with your lips for a while before carrying you to the bed. He went out of the room and went to the hidden basement. The place that you never knew exist.

"Fuck, since when the road has CCTV. I should ask Niki to hack it."

He went to the duffle bag that was on the table. He opened it and took out every equipments in there and cleaned the blood stain.

"I did it to protect Y/n. She could be in danger if I let the guy alive."

Jungwon said to himself while cleaning his knives that he used on the victim last night. He turned on the radio to fill the silence in the room.

"The murder case that happened yesterday at Jibangi Road was still in mystery. The polices claimed the suspect that they caught was innocent and didn't have any connection with Kim Jaehyun, the victim. They were trying to search for more info and the police asked for the residents to stay at home especially at night."

If Kim Jaehyun didn't disturb you the other day, Jungwon wouldn't do this. If that guy didn't take your photos under your skirt, he would never kill Jaehyun at the first place.

"I can go as far as killing just to make sure she is safe."
