gender is so confusing

im a boy. im nonbinary. im a secret third thing. im none of the above. i used to be a little girl. i never was a girl. my deadname feels like a stranger. i still turn around if i hear it in public. im a boy who looks like a girl who looks like a boy who looks like a girl who looks like-

My mom and I were discussing ✨️baby names✨️ because even though I'm not trying to conceive yet (fingers crossed for next year!!) I have names stuck in my head. But now I need other people's opinions on this particular issue, so:

I have neither a daughter nor a son and no baby on the way yet, plus names are not currently set in stone but also I 👏 need 👏 opinions 👏

Honestly the fact that I have my first exam in school today, on the first day of Lesbian Visibility Week, is homophobic

probably i just said it but i want to say it again:

- don’t apologise if you don’t know english.

- yes, english is the most common language on the internet but you are not forced to know it perfectly.

- your own language is beautiful.

- non-english people make a huge effort to write in English everyday on this website.

- support non-english people and don’t make them feel bad if they do not know English. 

- actually support all the languages.

- spread more language diversity on Tumblr.

So that’s basically how it went down

Anybody else ever look at their stretch marks and think, aww, they're so soft and cute, how could anyone ever hate them? They're a sign of growing after all, and growth is rarely a clean, simple process. Growth is messy and confusing, sure, but it's rewarding! And here's a visual reminder of that growth! I don't know how anyone could ever hate that

When reading fanfic keep in mind that for professional literature: 

Short story: under 7,500

Novelette: between 7,500 and 17,500

Novella: between 17,500 and 40,000

Novel: over 40,000

Fics over 40k are literally a novel written and shared for free.  If you have written a 40k+ fic, you have literally written a novel.

I think my first week of school went really, really well!! 😃💕✨️

It's so weird for me, being a student again, but I have to say, I'm already doing better with this in the last week than I have with the past seven years of high school (I graduated late). Mentally, I'm in a much better place than I was back than (thank you therapy, medication and healthy coping mechanisms 🩷), and it really shows in my class work, my focus in class, my participation in class, my homework, and my studying. I'm even making friends! Which is even wilder!!

I haven't made friends since I was in high school. We're getting to know each other pretty well already, but it's hard for me to open up and fully let people know who I am as a person. I want to learn how to do that, though. I don't want to live my life in a bubble because I'm afraid of letting people know me and then reject me. If I do that, and never let anyone in, I'm never going to find the people that will genuinely like me for me.

It's all really exciting! My life is finally moving forward!! 😁🩷✨️

I had a professor in college who used to start solving every problem with the same dialogue.

Proff: What’s the first step to solving any problem? Class: Don’t panic. Proff: And why is that? Class: Because we know more than we think we do.

I think about that a lot tbh. It didn’t occur to me until much later that he meant for us to apply that dialogue outside of the classroom to any problem. Because we always know more than we think we do. We are all an amalgam of random information that ends up being relevant with surprising frequency.
