Man, I knew that Dokja was BFFs with Persephone and that Hades, uh, appeared to vaguely approve of him, but I was not expecting this development.

THE TRAUMA IN ALL OF THEIR FACES!!! I mean the look on Yuno’s face is so intense. Tabata did a beautiful job illustrating his emotional state through his face, as well as the faces of Mimosa, Noelle, and Secre. 

All of the captains are clearly confused and concerned for Asta’s wellbeing too. It always makes me so happy to see how much the relationship between the captains and Asta has grown throughout the years. They care so much about him. 

AND YAMI OMG YAMI!!! HE IS SO STRESSED OUT AND CONCERNED AND JUST AHHHH.

Nacht having the ability to travel through shadows but being unable to find Asta’s is a GREAT detail that Tabata included. It makes the situation feel even more dire and hopeless. 

ONCE AGAIN, YAMI!! He is so angry. AND just look at all of those cigs... HE IS SO STRESSED. 

And YUNO HATERS DNI! Let this boy go try and save Asta gd... Yuno is clearly upset and angry as well.

...and just so no one misinterprets these panels: this CLEARLY illustrates how much these two guys care about each other. They both think INCREDIBLY highly of one another and they will always be supportive. 

Yuno does not even want to mention the possibility of Asta being dead, but he KNOWS he has to be strong in order to have a chance at saving him.

Of course Yuno is a big issue for Lucius... and thank goodness, right? 

THIS PANEL IS EVERYTHING!!!! LOOK AT YUNO AND HIS DETERMINATION!

edit: also, do we even know if he is in the same point in time anymore? did he go back in time at all? did he go forward? idk! it is something cool to consider.

Hopefully this means we can explore Yami’s background a whole lot more and maybe even get more info on anti magic. This is so cool and exciting. I can’t wait for more :)!!! please leave any thoughts!

If that was really supposed to be Gojo's death then I gotta say, it was handled really badly and doesn't hit at a good point in the story.

I am somewhat concerned that Gege is rushing to finish the manga this year rather than giving everything the time it needs to land, and really hoping I'm wrong and there's something else to come.
