No need to fight

“You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.' Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed. Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17

This is probably my last phase before I officially be employed here: the approval of my visa before my 30th day. It was nerve-wrecking to think about, though we formed a backup plan to go to Malaysia for a few days and come back to Singapore again, I am afraid and I do not wish to go further to another country. And last night, I was praying, no, desperately asking God to grant my request asap. Even so, my heart trembles still.

But coming to this verse, I was reminded that if the Lord is willing, He will surely make a way. And I don’t need to exert too much effort to satisfy myself and fight for this. Sometimes our biggest and greatest act would be to remain still in the presence of God and just let go & let Him do His wonder. No need to worry any longer, dear child. Rest in the presence of your Almighty Father in heaven. Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf.
