1/ Fans really think SM is that powerful in the industry. They blame SM for the lack of cover video from their bias, no BA and magazine for their bias, etc. SM may have a lot of connection and power, but they are not the only player and has upper hand in every industry. A plan always sounds great but implementation is a different story. I can't think how a company consistently refuse individual jobs that can bring them profit.

2/A cover - do their bias have time and actually like to sing song they don't produce? Model - do their bias really have the good body and good selling power? Acting - do their idol really want to act? Musical - do their idol have time to join the casting? MC - do their idol have the MC quality? And what's more, it's the effort and the ability to grab the chance of the idol. Do you think brand can see their potential if the idols rarely post any thing on IG? Or SM can throw anyone in any show?

3/ Mind you, the Korean entertainment heavily depends on the network, you need to be really impressive to have more chance of appearance. It's maybe the time of 4th gen on the chart, but when it comes to variety, 3th, 2nd gen and even 1st gen are still there, the empty slots are not that many, not to mention comedians and actors. Not all NCT members are competitive enough for the shows.

4/ Being in a company by SM means artists have some chance to inherit the gigs from their seniors and benefit from company's connection (SM somehow has connection with Prada and Miu Miu, Jungwoo's cover is recommended by a SM staff, a D&G manager who used to work with Burberry is also close with SM, Dior and Ferragamo used to have BAs from SM etc).

5/ The decisive factor here: can the idol and their fans satisfy the brands and the industry. I just wish fans can think before complaining and demanding everything. As if SM were too dumb to acknowledge dance/vocal ability of their artist. Demand but be reasonable. I have enough with dragging everyone. It's not just a competition with A or B, it's also a competition of idol and fans with themselves for the better.

Unfortunately, complaining fans don't think. And those who think are shut down.

I used to think that Taeil was attracting those "underdog" loving fans who brag about the talent of their chosen bias as if it was their own talent (one always can have the satisfaction of beating the opponent with "Taeil is THE main vocal" ace card, while his lacking in other areas can be blamed on SM), however, the more I observe the fandom, the more I realise that all, even the most successful neos, have them.

If your bias don't produce enough entertainment for your liking, just find another bias, and another, and switch from the first to the last in rotation.

I'm certain the fans who demand 127 because they "miss them" haven't watched all the content that has been produced over the years.

Oh, i don't know? I call the six towers the main building and the glass pyramid is just, the glass pyramid to me. I've always imagined the glass pyramid, the six levels of foxfire, and the silver and gold towers separate, with the buildings/towers of the six levels the main building, but i could be completely wrong here.

Actually the more i think about it, you may be right with the glass pyramid being the main building!

This is the typical question of variety program, at least the 2-3th gen usual, and i think it has to do with how some fans react? like if she ask a male idol the same question on what they are looking in a woman, some might interpret it as she is interest in him and all that jazz

Big variety companies never face the repercussion for what they put celebrities into. This is not the first time accusations were thrown towards them because the hosts asked to do something or reply to something. It's one thing to hold idols accountable for not protesting/resist or being careless or even getting in trouble alone for what they things they say or do of their own will but it's another to limit yourself to swiftly call out the hosts but never push action taking towards them and the administration making money out of all that. They have never actually had repercussion on the problematic stuff they do or say unless they directly embarrass or hurt their guests. (Like Doni and Coni and some other cases) And even there the clip or episode is just deleted.

Don't continue call 4th Generation idols sellout because the companies choose to not promote on TV like your beloved 2th Gen (or 3th too) when the majority of accusations come from these programs (Half of which aren't even that spectacular as you paint them to be, just a couple, the others are decent at best).

The idols aren't even paid that much on average and are already overly criticized by default and get even more criticism, hate and loose money and fans with this stuff, the television companies and hosts never lose anything. Ever.

I've waited a lot for my favorite bands and actors to come back from the army for a long time... you will wait too... (not that I don't listen BTS but my teenage times are long gone)

They say how the members works so hard already... do you mean others didn't work their ass off? Didn't get hurt? Didn't faint in the fluffing concerts?

All I say is there should be no exception. Yes they worked so hard but so the bands before them.. the bands that made kpop famous enough to help new bands to climb this far.
