48 hour film festival submission timeline. I don’t think I can forgive myself for messing up the sync audio for the first scene when submitting the film. 😭 but I sure did a lot to produce this film in 48 hours even doing the whole post production myself and got really close to such a completed film. Being a on set crew especially being a grip and DP and then working in post production is so not recommended for 48 hour films haha. Like you, we’d rather be making films than being quarantined at home avoiding COVID-19. While we make our plans for the regular 48 Hour Film Project in your city later this year, we have a series of three film challenges for you, if you wish to participate.

Distante Producciones

En una nueva clase con visitas, tuvimos el agrado de conocer a Guillermo Dranuta, Mateo Pigola y Kevin Webster, quienes pueden también ser llamados como Distante Producciones. Ellos son tres alumnos que han pasado por Ingeniería Audiovisual, aunque Kevin es el único sobreviviente de la carrera al momento del trío. Comenzaron contándonos acerca de su experiencia en el campo Audiovisual y cómo fue que terminaron formando su propia productora. Nos contaron que su secreto es saber dónde es que ellos pueden aportar más a los proyectos y poder respetar al otro cuando está en su área de dominación. De esta manera van logrando hacerse su camino en este mundo y conseguir cada vez más trabajo. Aunque al momento todo parece muy lindo, una de las cosas más importantes que nos contaron fue de cómo se dieron cuenta que es necesario chequear todo el equipamiento antes de entregar cualquier trabajo. En una oportunidad en el 48 Hour Film Festival no confirmaron que su pendrive contuviera su corto -del cual estaban hiper orgullosos- y fueron descalificados ya que el archivo estaba roto. Algo que sin dudas cabe destacar es que hicieron mucho énfasis en que no nos desmotiváramos con la carrera, ya que eventualmente los proyectos terminan naciendo si nosotros ponemos de nuestra parte. Ellos inicialmente querían ir a estudiar Producción Musical a Argentina, y ahora están más que agradecidos de no haberlo hecho. Personalmente me dejaron con muchísimas ganas de sumarme al 48HFF en algún punto donde cuente con más experiencia en el manejo de cámaras.
