ok so ive been marinating on some thoughts of 4KOTA again so

18+ 4KOTA and friends but BOOZE EDITION

Percy Platoon first

Donny is a BEAST, this mans can drink so much. It takes so much to get him drunk. He's near the top of ranking here. He gets a little cranky when he's drunk but you can bet your ass he spends so much of the time of getting there making fun of everyone and the time after getting there of being a jokey teasing.

Anne, I think isn't too much of a fan but she can drink a good amount before she's drunk drunk. High middle of the leaderboard. She's a happy drunk and also just more of what she's already like but at 100% the whole time. She will knock herself out within an hour, and it will be Gawain's job to carry her to bed

Percy and Nasiens are. Frankly, I think they're mildly immune? Obviously, Nasiens can frankly erase the effects of alcohol and I'm p sure Percy just can't. It just doesn't work on him. Does this make them top or bottom of the leaderboard? Who knows.

Tristan Platoon

I think Isolde and Jade are both middle ground as well, but opposite side of the middle. Isolde has a slightly higher tolerance than mid and Jade is slightly under. Isolde is a crier, she's real emotional type and she WILL hug somebody. Jade will try to be the hugged one, but he heavily disassociates man. He goes off, he's on another planet.

Chion, I will be mean too, I will not lie. He is pretty low on the leaderboard but not the bottom, it doesn't take much to get drunk and he's a little more obviously mean than usual but he's so wobbly its hard to take him seriously. But he does absolutely make fun of our bottom of the leaderboard.

Tristan is smack between Chion and Jade. He's fairly low tolerance but you can thank the genes he got from Meliodas for being able to handle any booze at all. He's giggly and sweet and always winds up laying on somebody somehow. Shoulder, lap, back, this man will find a way to become a feather boa on you if he can.

AND LANCE!!! Oh this is what spurred this whole post! Lancelot my boy my guy my little purse chihuahua

IF I could direct your attention to Ban's wiki page, you will see that Lance's old man is a LIGHTWEIGHT! Ban gets shitfaced at the slightest amount of booze and you cannot look me in the eye and tell me Fairies have any better chance. Lance is the LIGHTEST LIGHT WEIGHT IN BRITANIA and he HATES IT. And worst yet, he's just like his dad when he's shitfaced. He gets real friendly and by GOD he won't stop laughing.

Chion loves to gloat about how he can drink more than Lancelot, but Tristan and Percy are by far the worst of it, they WILL tease him relentlessly the day after because he would not stop telling them they're his beeeeeessssssstttt frrrriiieeennndddsss~!

And last but certainly not least.

Gawain is just. Impervious. She can down a whole barrel of good shit and act no different. Her face doesnt even flush. You literally can't tell if it does anything and she'll certainly never tell if it works. She and Donny absolutely do drinking contest cause Donny always thinks 'this time I'll win' and then doesn't.

About tristan i think he kinda boring...good thing he didn't become the main character...and his platoon...offf i really don't like it tbh,it feels jade,chion ,isolde only bow down to tristan and don't have goals/dreams of their own. Or fokus on theirselfs for once...and tristan it feels like his carelessik some way or not.. .. and tbh especially jade...he didn't really deserve to die

....it should been chion tbh...jade was the only one who thought it was wrong to atteck unlike isolde and chion. Jade even apologised to percy platoon...poor jade...he always seem to come second place because after his death...they only cried for a few chapters before they forgot him..In my opinion i think jade shouldnt left the tristan platoon if he was alive...wonder if he will come back in part 2..?🧐

I could need your opinion on my take... why tristan group is not that good.. .

Hello again! First of all, i have 0 faith that Jade will come back😭 bc if his Friends forget him, Even more the autor.

And about the other part, I think it is due more than anything to the lack of background and above all, they do not feel like friends.

to show something that does work, the original 7 deadly sins, even with how poorly written they were, you understood why they got along well, they were all rejected in some way and annoyed each other, but they helped each other and saw each other as friends and EQUAL (Even if they had Meliodas on a pedestal, they saw him as a friend and a leader).

The thing with Tristan's team, is there's nothing of it.

There is no construction, we don't know why they decided to be with the Holy Knights, we don't know what their lives were like (except Chion) and we don't know what they would have in common to even get along.

Why does Jade get along with Chion when they clearly have completely different ideas? Chion doesn't even trust him to tell him his true intentions, he lies TO his face and yet Jade for some reason forgives him.

(I don't count Chion's trauma as an excuse, he knows that what he does would harm the entire kingdom and he still does it, he is a sociopath).

We don't know anything about Isolde and Jade, not even because they like each other. And the main thing, don't you see each other as friends as is, Chion and Jade? maybe, but Isolde and Chion? not even fart.

and mainly their relationship with Tristán, they do not treat him as a friend, they treat him as a superior, someone above them and yet they insist on protecting him by treating him like a spoiled child (which in a way he is, but it is a terrible dynamic of friendship).

Overall it was a crude attempt to give Tristan friends that was more like giving him young servants who go out of their way to earn his approval or reach his level.

Maybe there's more, but this is what first come to My mind.

¡Hola de nuevo! Primero que nada, tengo 0 esperanza de que Jade vuelva😭 porque si sus propios amigos lo olvidan, el mangaka lo debe de tener en las cosas marianas.

Y en cuanto a lo segundo, creo que se debe mas que nada ala falta de trasfondo y sobretodo, no se les siente como amigos.

para mostrar algo que si funciona, los 7 pecados capitales originales, aun con lo mal escritos que estaban, entendías porque se llevaban bien, todos eran rechazados de alguna manera y se molestaban mutuamente, pero se ayudaban entre si y se veian como amigos e IGUALES(incluso si tenian en un pedestal a Meliodas, lo veian como un amigo y un lider).

con el equipo de Tristan lo que pasa es que no tienen nada de eso.

no hay construcción, no sabemos porque ellos decidieron estar con los caballeros Sacros, no sabemos como eran sus vidas(excepto Chion) y no sabemos que tendrian en comun para siquiera llevarse bien.

¿porque Jade se lleva bien con Chion cuando claramente tienen ideas completamente diferentes? Chion nisiquiera confia en el para decirle sus verdaderas intenciones, le miente EN LA CARA y aun asi Jade por alguna razon lo perdona.

(no cuento el trauma de Chion como una excusa, el sabe que lo que hace perjudicaria a todo el reino y aun así lo hace, es un sociopata).

de Isolde y Jade no sabemos nada, ni porque se gustan. y lo principal, no se ven entre si como amigos tal cual, Chion y Jade? talvez, pero Isolde y Chion? ni de pedo.

y principalmente su relación con Tristán, no lo tratan como un amigo, lo tratan como un superior, alguien por arriba de ellos y aun asi insisten en peotegerlo tratandolo como un niño consentido (lo cual en cierta forma es, pero es una pesima dinamica de amistad).

en general fue un intento burdo de darle amigos a Tristán que mas bien fue como darle sirvientes jóvenes que se desviven por ganarse su aprobación o llegar a su nivel.

Puede haber más, pero fue lo primero que se me ocurrió.

I’m recently seeing hate for jade for this and i wanna share my opinion on it

First of all, jade admitted he still respected him and thought tristan was amazing? at least he didn’t let his hatred get the best of him

Jade at least didn’t treat tristan as a god- and worshipped him for everything like don’t get me wrong i love tristan but the love he gets from chion and isolde is a bit too dramatic- and they CONSTANTLY talk about him like please- shut the fuck up- the constant talk and admiring tristan probably made jade feel like a third wheel? and i don’t blame him for it

He still cared for tristan and not only that he was the only one in the platoon who treated tristan like a normal person and never made him uncomfortable because c’mon- chion and isoldes love for tristan probably had made him uncomfortable more than once-

Back to jade being a third wheel. I can understand why jade hates tristan because the fact his two childhood best friends immediately choice tristan and that  jade was the second favorite of the group because of it. I am not saying tristan was at fault at all but jade isn’t either and neither does he deserve hate that he is now getting.

Whose really at fault is chion and isolde for even having favorites because that can destroy a friendship and thats a toxic thing to do in a friend group. I always believe trios could never work because lot of people in trios have a favorite in a group and it can take a toll on someone which is what happened with jade. It took a toll on his health and mindset and again i can’t blame him for it.

Sure i get it he shouldn’t hate tristan for it but look at his perspective. As soon as tristan showed up, chion and isolde both worshipped tristan and favorited him and left jade out. 

Jade never once understood how tristan was THIS special because he sees tristan as a normal person, he didn’t like him because he was a prince- he treated him like a normal human being and saw him as one so he never understood it but the person he deeply loved (isolde) was now head over heels for this person who suddenly entered their lives and now chion who is crazy for his cousin to the point he would willingly threaten people for him.

I can see why he hated tristan, he was jealous and it’s understandable.

Again this isn’t me slandering tristan nor blaming him- i am blaming chion and isolde because if they didn’t favorite tristan or worship him the way they do then maybe jade wouldn’t hate tristan at all.

I am sorry if i worded things weirdly but i hope y’all can see my point here

Decided to draw some 4KOA and I decided to start off with the Tristan Platoon.

I love the character designs of each and every character but I am biased towards Jade. He is my favorite character design so far hope you all enjoy.

I can just picture a 14 year old Tristan sneaking into his parents room to steal Lostvayne for training and then gets sidetracked by his mother's large closet, taking a peek at some of her Goddess Regalia that she never wears

"Tristan hurry up, the king and queen could come back at any time!" Isolde hissed from the door.

She originally wasn't going to help him with his scheme but he was very convincing, now the half giant was keeping watch for any sign of the short boy's parents.

"Isolde come in here, my mom has some cool stuff in her closet!"

"Shhh! Her closet? Seriously?! Just get the stupid sword so we can get outta here without getting caught, the king and queen'll be back any minute and then we’ll be busted!"

Tristan scoffed, "puh-lease Issy, they're on the other side of the kingdom right now, they won't be back for hours, so get in here!'"

Isolde was still pretty hesitant despite this reassurance so Tristan dragged her inside and quietly closed the door.

The prince darted inside the closet while Isolde gazed at the large room in awe, she'd never seen such fancy stuff before, it was also pretty intimidating when considering how her modest her little home was. Her entire house could fit inside this room!

The half giant cautiously and stiffly sat down on the loveseat that sat outside the closet, this couch was too fancy to be sitting on and probably cost more than she could imagine. But before she could dwell on this any longer she heard Tristan's voice from inside the closet

"Okay, I'm ready now, brace yourself!"

“…”

"Are you bracing?"

"Oh, yep, yeah I'm bracing!"

"Good now behold!"

Tristan walks out wearing one of his mother's more fancy white dress, because of his shirt height it pooled at his feet and looked a bit baggy, but that wasn't what Isolde was focused on, she was more focused on the golden jewellery pieces he wore. They were like nothing she'd ever seen from the nobles or even the king and queen, they looked …beautiful and they suited Tristan really well!

The taller girl was at a loss for words, at her silence Tristan's beaming smile faltered, "they don't look that bad on me, do they?"

At this Isolde was snapped out of her shock, "nononononono, y-you look amazing, they really suit you! I’ve just haven't seen anything like it before!"

Tristan perked up a bit more, his tense shoulders relaxing, "I know right, you'd think I would've seen my mom wear this to a ball or special event but no, it's just been stuffed into a box at the back of her closet."

Isolde hummed in agreement, they both stood there for a moment contemplating.

“...Wanna try some on as well?"

Isolde looked flustered at the suggestion, "W-What?!! No way, these accessories look like they cost more than my life, what if I damage them?!”

Tristan pondered this for a moment before brightening running over to Meliodas's closet on the other side of the room. "you can wear one of my dad's jackets instead!"

“His ja-Tristan!!!” She protested, only to be hit in the face with something fluffy and soft. Isolde took it off, examined it for a moment, it looked vaguely familiar. When it clicked she froze, colour draining from her face

“...Tristan?" Isolde asked, he voice calm and steady

"Yeah Issy?"

"Is this by any chance, King Meliodas's favourite jacket?"

"Well yeah, he likes how fluffy it is."

“...I'm not wearing this."

She ends up wearing it and it was surprisingly comfortable. Then Isolde got roped into re-enacting the entirety of the second Holy War. Tristan was way too persuasive for his own good

“Sir Meliodas, please…open your eyes-“

A snort came from the girl laying his lap

“…sir Meliodas, I’m in the middle of crying over your dead corpse right now, so if you could just stay dead for now until I’m finished that would much appreciated.”

“Sorry Tris-Elizabeth.” Another snicker.

“Dead remember?”

“Right yeah okay I’m dead.” Isolde went limp and closed her eyes, trying her best to look like a corpse.

Tristan nodded satisfied, “Right, now where was I- oh yeah! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!” The dramatic wails only made Isolde snicker more, he was really going all out with this performance

Though the fun abruptly ended, Meliodas and Elizabeth burst in alerted by their sounds screams of dramatic agony and their stances menacing with their magic activated. “TRISTAN!!! ARE YOU OKA-“

They both pause, instead of their son being in mortal danger they were met with their clothes strewn all over the floor, a few pieces of furniture knocked over, their bed a mess and two guilty looking tweens in the centre of all it on the floor

Guilty looking tweens who were wearing Meliodas’s favourite jacket and Elizabeth’s dress + royal regalia respectively. The two pairs stared at each-other in silence, the king and queen looking absolutely baffled and shocked while the two kids looking like deers in headlights.

The silence was broken by Isolde turning head to look up at the prince dryly from her position in his lap.

“I told ya we’d get busted.”
