Summer of 2014 - Winter of 2018

The first photo was at a cheap trap motel called the westark when I was staying where ever I could and strung out on meth and opiates. I was 20, or about to be.

The second is 5 days ago at 17 ½ months clean at bryans family’s over the holidays in texas. 24.

There is about 50-60 lb difference in the pictures. I feel so huge now.

I’m clean now. I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore. I really don’t eat healthy lol and I’ve had a child since then..

But I almost feel like I looked better then. I know I’m attracted to unhealthy things though but it bothers me. Everyone says I look better now.. I know I wasn’t happy with my self or body then either but when people say I look healthy I think they mean fat.

Es zeigt eine kleine Geste mit großer Wirkung: Gandhi bückt sich und nimmt eine Handvoll Salz. Salz war ein wichtiger Wirtschaftsfaktor in Indien, auf dessen Gewinnung als auch den Handel die Engländer aber das Monopol hatten. Mit dem Salzmarsch setzte Gandhi 1930 ein starkes Zeichen zivilen Ungehorsams und des gewaltlosen Widerstandes. In der Sache war die Aktion simpel: Gandhi marschierte mit 80 Anhängern von seinem Wohnort in Ahmedebad die 385 Kilometer nach Dandi am Meer. Wie alle seine Aktionen hatte er auch dieses Vorhaben den Briten angekündigt. Der Marsch wurde zu einem Volkslauf: Tag für Tag schlossen sie mehr Menschen an. Etwa 10 000 Menschen erreichten nach 24 Tagen das kleine Dorf. Das Foto, wie Gandhi Salz aufhob, ging um die Welt und motivierte seine Landsleute, es ihm gleich zu tun. 50000 Inder, auch Gandhi, wurden daraufhin verhaftet, was den Erfolg der Aktion aber nur beflügelte. Malas ideas nivel: Esta influencer se quedó ciega por hacerse tatuajes en los ojos

Se le estuvo di y di, pero esta influencer no hizo caso

El Instagram – Si alguna vez has pensado “voy a tatuarme los ojos, ¿qué es lo peor que podría pasar?”, tenemos que contarte esta historia reciente proganizada por una influencer de lo peor que podría pasar con los tatuajes en los ojos. Ahí te va: La morra se quedó ciega. No es sorpresa porque ya leíste el título, pero por lo menos finge algo de sorpresa. ¿Ya? Gracias.

Una influencer australiana llamada Amber Luke, apodada cariñosamente “Dragón Blanco de Ojos Azules” se aventó a hacerse esta loquísima operación para pintarse la parte blanca del ojo (llamada esclerótica) de color azul.

Ya tenía casi todo el cuerpo tatuado, así que no es ajena a las agujas. Pero igual no fue sencillo: el procedimiento duró cerca de 40 minutos y, según la morra, el dolor fue indescriptible. “Una vez que el ojo es penetrado por la tinta, se sentía como si agarraran 10 trozos de cristal y me los frotaran en el ojo”, declaró.

Imagínense, con una máquina le mantuvieron los ojos abiertos mientras le picaban los ojos con tinta cuatro veces por ojo.

Por si esto fuera poco, después y para sorpresa de nadie porque ya leyeron el título de la nota y se los contamos en el primer párrafo… se quedó ciega. Al parecer el tatuador clavo de más la aguja de la tinta, cosa que no se debe de hacer.

Temporalmente ciega, claro está. Por tres semanas la morra perdió la visión y pues qué angustia. Según cuentan, su mamá se la pasó chille y chille. Pero al final todo pasó y el Dragón Blanco de Ojos Azules se puso de nuevo en modo de ataque y recuperó la vista.

¿Por qué alguien haría algo así?

De acuerdo con la madre de Amber Luke, a los 15 años fue diagnosticada con depresión severa. Estas modificaciones a su cuerpo como los tatuajes o su lengua de serpiente le han ayudado a aceptarse más a sí misma y a quererse. Y si eso la hace feliz, pues qué chido la verdad.
