so glad the hearth timeline is like… slightly more understandable than before. previously i had freminet down as being given to the hearth at about 5, arle killing the previous knave when he was about 8, and the twins being taken in a few months later at about 12 when he was still 8. for my au, that makes them about four years apart, which feels slightly large of an age gap but ultimately it works better than making them a year or two apart.

apparently, canonically arle was 16 when clervie died at 16, 17 when she killed the previous knave, and then spent an unknown amount of time in prison before becoming a harbinger and taking over as the director of the house of hearth.

freminet was taken in during the year between clervie’s death and crucabena’s death. the twins were taken in a few months after that.

if freminet was taken in at 5-6, the twins taken in around 9-10, that keeps the age gap between the trio as well as explains the ~10 year gap between this and canon. that would make freminet 15-16 and the twins 19-20, which fits them really well. i wish arlecchino was older, though; she definitely feels older than ~27.

Not to be that guy (Murph) but when gorgug tries to reel in the night yorb on his turn, the first attack dc should be 27 instead of 17, what Brennan said. In err, i think Brennan only added 2 to the lower roll of 15, getting 17, rather than the Night Yorb's actual modifier of +12, which would have gotten 27.

I noticed something off the first time i watched it, but it took me till the second or third watchthrough to actually figure out the issue

Hi hi hi hello, coming in with number 7 (party/museum/wedding) for the FMK alts, for Novhen, Shale, and Morrigan :D

Oh wow! You cannot take Shale to any of those! I feel like the party might be the least disastrous option. I'm not much of a partygoer myself, so when she inevitably starts a scene, it'll be a convenient way to excuse myself and leave before i robbed of every morsel of energy i went in with. If the party has a grind pit, she might just leave in disgust immediately, but hey! Saves me from that shit!

And i really, really want to take Novhen to a museum, but Morrigan seems too risky a +1 for a wedding. So Morri to the museum it is! It could be interesting. I'm not really sure if she'd like my favorite exhibits, but i have a healthy enough love of art and history to get excited about whatever she shows interest in. I'd bet she'd take great pleasure in finding an exhibit, scoffing, and then tearing apart what blatant propaganda it is. Shit, is this museum in Thedas or our world? Either way, i'm sure one of use will have plenty to say

Really, Novhen was always the only sane choice for a wedding. He can be polite and knows (and cares!) how to not embarrass everyone, and he's been to so many weddings at this point, he knows the whole song and dance. It'll be only an hour into the reception, and he'll already have the drunkenly spilled secrets of every extended family member and invitations to 3 recitals.
