Ugh. My mother's recent RAT says she's got COVID. She did one on Tuesday (3 days ago), as she usually does before she has to get chemo, and it was negative. Yesterday, though, she sounded really bad & cold-y, so she did a test this morning and...
I started getting an itchy throat (& tingly lips too?) yesterday AFTER Mum got in my car to drive her back home [she unfortunately mingled with people while feeling crook which I didn't know until I drove her back home]. She's the only person I'm in close contact with; most other gatherings I tend to keep my distance & in stores I always wear a mask [Mum doesn't].
I've done a RAT today, and it's negative. But as it took a while for Mum's positive to show up, I'll do it again in 2 days.
Mum's trying to organise a proper test, so she's calling her GP now for a referral... and then I'll drive her there - but she's going in the back seat... Them's the rules.
e (3hrs later): GP's sent a script to the local chemist for antiviral meds. So I'll do the pick up for that now.

I’m asking all of my friends and famly living in Rhode Island - both indigenous and not - to take a moment out of your day to send an email to your local representatives and especially to house speaker K. Joseph Shekarchi ([email protected]) and Governor Dan McKee ( https://governor.ri.gov/contact )
Please let them know that you, as a Rhode Island resident (taxpayer, homeowner, etc) that you stand in support of Bills 7470 and 7471.
Claire Richards, who is against it, will ask the Governor not to pass these bills. She has been against Native Americans for years, continuously pitting native against native. This bill can still pass with 2/3 votes if Shekarchi and the Governor do the right thing. Please take a moment to help us out by sending an email.

My friend in Switzerland asked why im live stream In case you didn't know. I was scared to death of my son for years. That's horrible feeling when your son is your whole life. I hated myself for being scared to death of him I was soo frail still am. This what Illeagal drugs Do to famlies.. I wasn't on the drugs.. why that so hard to understand. For the world Or im not insane crazy a bit. that me normaly you have to be crazy to spend your life helping other human beings in secert... shame on you America and the world. for not helping me.. when i pleade and begged yelled all i needed was some one tell me they love me hold me keep me safe through this to be apart of my own Grankids life. instead you all too busy left me to die. because cant be bothered .so throw money and threats my way for 5 years.. problem is it was my Money!!!!!!!! im used to living like a homeless person sort of i could never afford new clothes or clothing i cut every corner to support my son and his mother. I always put them 1st No man ive ever met would.. except my father and Grandfather all men in my family.... Why nobody like amy or my son will tell the world the hell i endured raising him even just part of the time. i was there by phone full time.. why you think he can use techonogly who taught him just about everything even 1st time skateboarding or soccer to swim I think you all are soo used to people That dead beat father You crucify destroy any Man.. Like me Thats not a Dead beat dad!!!!! shame on you all..... My response to long time swiss friend question. she even flew here ever year. i cant get you all to drive an hour to bring my Grandkids.
