A bridge in the clouds 52 Frames weekly challenge - week 7: Unexplored .. .. A series of events I won't talk about took me to walk around an avenue I never walked before. This avenue has a couple of cover bridges so you can cross to the other side in case you need it. Well, I got lucky, the day I had to run around the area was after some rains here in Gdl, which means water puddles, which means I can play with the reflections on those puddles on the bridges. And here is my favorite result.

week 44: Baked

Here in Mx one of the biggest traditions is the day of the dead (día de muertos). It brings along food, candies, flowers, pan de muerto (bread of the dead) and other items related to the festivities that are commonly used in the offerings and altares all around the country.

My objective for this photo was to create a still life offering for the dead using the traditional pan de muerto as central point.

Photography: Feijoa blossoms

Last week’s challenge on 52Frames was ‘delicate’ with bonus points for black and white.

I had a play around in my garden (dandelion seed heads are always the obvious choice!) and decided on a shot of feijoa blossoms as my shot for the week.

This week’s challenge is ‘depth of field’ with extra credit for using an aperture of 1.8 or less.  I definitely don’t have a lens that will go that wide, but…

Beersheba Performing Arts Center also known as The Beersheba Theater features five to seven original and classical plays each season. The theater produces repertoire plays, performances of other theaters and independent actors, and children's plays. Many of the plays are featured at other theaters across the country. Roughly 30 actors and 70 other employees are employed by the theater. The theater also conducts classes, workshops and educational programs for special-needs communities.
