Its weird for me to shoot film in 6x6 format. To frame something or compose gives me a restraint or more like a different set of "rules" that makes me think differently as I shoot. Which is a good thing but I want to get an SLR camera just for 120 film. Maybe 6x9 instead. I do have one but its old and needs new bellows. Maybe I can take it to the lab and see what they tell me. Cuz spending about $700 right now.. I'm not gonna do it. Haha(nervous laugh) Maybe later in the year. A Fujica 6x9 or something equivalent. Fingers crossed.

San Francisco - Alta Plaza Steps - 2000's

This is what I look like now as I am now 66, and my hair is showing a bit of Grey look now, and with a touch of Arthritics. As I have a BFA Degree in Photography and also have been working at a Camera Store for 33 years, as I beat Ernie in working there but the store CLOSED, and now I am a retired person but still enjoying in Photographing along with Film, and Digital shooting, and also traveling to Japan, and Parts of Europe along with my Photo Gear as I still have my Nikon Gear both Film, and Digital along with my MAC, and Toshiba, But I have also been collecting Vintage Cameras as I just obtain a 1933 Plaubel Makina 6x9 camera, and also a Zeiss Ikon Ikonta 6x6 RF Medium Format cameras both from Germany, and also a Praktina, and Pentacon 35mm SLR with Carl Zeiss Jena optics for both models as a difference from sharpness from Japan, and Germany. Oh and FYI I still have my camera that I use when I was at Mission High. My friend Julie took this shot as we have been friends since 1980.

I live in Rzeszów, a small town in the south-east of Poland. I started my photography adventure with a camera that my parents gave me at high school. It was an ordinary every-day point and shot digital camera. The next step was of course a DSLR, unfortunately it was way beyond my budget, so I decided to buy an old russian Zenit and try my best in analog photography. Then more cameras appeared, and it stayed that way.

- How would you describe your style?

Still working on my style, I like to catch the in-between moments. I don’t plan in advance. I'm inspired by the unique styles of other photographers through books and albums. I try to have the camera always in my backpack, just in case. I always take it on trips. I do portraits from time to time.

My everyday camera is the Minolta Hi-Matic AF2, my SLR is the Minolta 7000 + 50/1.7 lens but the 6x6 Rolleiflex 3.5 is my favorite. I choose a color Portra or Superia rather than black and white film.

パリ行 2016-17　〜3日目〜

パリ旅行の3日目。

今回は寒桜からスタートです。

　

 　

この日はご覧の通り見事な曇天。

ある意味パリっぽいとも言えるのかしら。

この場所は立派なアパルトマンに囲まれた閑静な中庭って感じで、

暖かい日であればベンチで読書なんてのも良さそうな場所でした。

実際はすんげー寒かったんですけどね。

　

こんなカッコいいアパルトマンに住んでみたいわー。

そしてエッフェル塔に向けて歩を進めますと…

　

なんじゃこりゃー！

エッフェル塔はこの有様。

微妙にテンションが下がる。

　

ガスってるエッフェル塔の脇を抜け、セーヌ川沿いに出ます。

寒々しい景色。

　

セーヌ川沿いを走る人々。寒い中頑張っております。

しかし向こうの人ってケツから下がガッシリしてんなー。

みんなプリケツです。

　

装飾が有名なアレクサンドル3世橋。

向こうにエッフェル塔が見え…ませんね……

　

寒さに堪りかねてプチパレで暖とランチを。

無料で色々と観られるし、その割に空いているしで Very Good。

ゆっくり落ち着ける良い場所でした。

　

プチパレをあとにしてシャンゼリゼへ。

大晦日ですがクリスマスマーケットやってました。

　

なんとなく惰性で撮ってる感じ。

寒さと曇天で写欲がかなり削がれてる。

　

ジュ・ド・ポーム国立美術館に到着。

画面奥の人たちはペタンクやってます。

ジュ・ド・ポームでは、圧制に声を上げる市民の歴史、

みたいな展示をやってました（適当）

　

フラフラ〜っと入った中庭みたいなトコにジャン＝ポール・エヴァン。

友人曰く仮店舗とのコト。

品の良い場所であった。

　

パサージュ・デ・ジャコバン。

前回パリに来た時、この近くに泊まってたので、

ちょいちょい散歩に来た思い出の場所。

なんだけどあまり感動もなく。多分疲れてたから。

　

エッフェル塔はやっぱりこんな有様で。

このあと Mori Yoshida でケーキとお土産を買って帰りましたとさ。

　

夜は友人宅で鴨すきをご馳走に。

年越し蕎麦までいただいてしまって（笑）

あんまり撮れなかった分、食には大変恵まれた一日でした。

パリ旅行4��目に続きます。

So far the only problem with the cameras I restored(?) is the timer is stuck on one of them. I think it was like that before I cleaned them but I thought it was working when I had them apart... idk i didn’t actually touch the mechanisms so it might have been like that the whole time
