*cuts to Luz and Amity behind the wall in the same episode, where Luz is showing Amity that she can do magic*

*the scene changes and it’s in the episode where everyone plays Grudgby, and Amity becomes friends with everyone again, dropping Boscha for good*

*Luz, Amity, Willow, and Gus are sitting on the steps at Hexside, and Luz is talking to everyone as they get up*

*Luz outreaches a hand towards Amity, which she hesitates at first, and then grabs*

*The scene is now Luz and Amity, struggling to ask eachother out, and once they do, the camera zooms in on their hands as they go to grab each other’s hand.*

crying a lot right now, i’m just missing candy cane so much. i miss her, i loved her. her death was so sudden… just that morning we were making fun of her cranky old lady meow, and just a few hours later she was having a stroke. by the time i got to the phone and tried to call somewhere to get her put out of her misery, or get something, anything done about it, it was too late for anywhere to take walk-in appointments��

she seemed fine for a bit afterward, just a bit shaken up. she crawled back to her little cubbyhole that she’s been sleeping in, and when i came to check on her later in the night, she was flopped over on the floor by the couch, paralyzed with pain.

I held her in my arms the rest of the night. She would press hard against my cheek to try and release the pain in her head. I remember the moments just before she took her last breath. it was like her most primal instincts kicked in, she was terrified out of her mind. her legs scrambled wildly about as quickly and powerfully as she could muster, like she was running away from something. And then she stopped. there were just occasional twitches in her limbs as her body grew colder and colder against my chest.

i’ll never forget it. i’ll never forget how powerless i felt to help her in her time of need.
