8mile Road è una strada malfamata, che circonda l'ultimo confine civico di Detroit, dividendo il quartiere benestante e periferico delle comunità afroamericane, ossia la sicurezza e la criminalità. Louis è un ragazzo inglese di ventiquattro anni, che dopo aver perso sua madre per una brutta malattia, si ritrova solo, e per andare alla ricerca del suo padre biologico, di cui non ha avuto più notizie da quando aveva solo due anni, è costretto a viaggiare fino a Detroit, e giunto nella 8mile Road, si imbucherà in un bar, dove incontrerà Harry, un ragazzo difficile, dal carattere irascibile, e insieme a lui, un uomo di nome Steve, che gli offrirà vitto e alloggio, nell'appartamento che possiede, proprio sopra il bar, dove vivono altri tre ragazzi, Niall, Liam e Zayn. Nonostante i problemi iniziali, Louis troverà il modo di ambientarsi, e grazie al suo buon carattere, instaurerà un legame speciale e unico, con Harry. Ma il suo arrivo, porterà non pochi problemi a Detroit, e lui stesso, si ritroverà invischiato in qualcosa di oscuro, come il tipico uomo nero, con la differenza, che non sarà solo una figura immaginaria, scaturita dalla paura di un bambino, ma una minaccia incombente e pericolosa, che tramerà sulla sua vita.

In the trailer park when they were filming it. ET, GWizz and I. You would think local would support local but that is beyond real. Imagine how we feel when we were struggling with no support and we are trying to do our own thing and someone comes on your Turf filming the movie it's a bit upsetting especially when you are not even a participant where you live and call home. I want to say I need to be positive and supportive. Unfortunately entertainment is not about being real. However we had a lot of fun when they would shut down their filming at night. Genie boom lifts lots of Lights generators wires I wish we had better cameras back then digital because a lot of the tapes got ruined actually all of them did I I had a lot of material. One day I went around the whole trailer park interviewing those who remained and didn't take the money from the studio to go in a hotel and allow them to spray paint their trailers and make them look worse than they were as if Warren isn't already ghetto on the Southside. The movie is not a documentary. It is not based on a true story so don't get it twisted I've never seen Eminem in that Park I've never seen Eminem along 8 Mile. I've been riding my bike as a kid up and down 8 Mile riding the bus riding motorcycles and scooters I've been on Eight Mile and those who live along the border all my life. Just like new center stamping I actually fixed those stamping presses I work there and when I seen this movie I couldn't say the movie is about me.
